Taru Cave Suites

While expecting a regular stay as usual, my wife and I were met with the embrace akin to family. Not only did the accomodation and the services exceed our expectancies, we felt as if it was our temporary home that had our safety and well being in mind. Not one request was left unanswered (we even requested an iron and a board for it), and almost all of it was complimentary. As a final note, we were accomodated well past our visit because our flight was at midnight, the hotel staff were more than happy to allow us stay.

The parking space was hard to reach, and had little room.

Everything and everyone was amazing. The hotel staff is the heart of this gem cave hotel. They are so incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The breakfast is amazing, the best selection we have seen anywhere. The hotel is so calm, tastefully decorated, and has so much to offer. The rooms and bathrooms are huge and so beautiful. We will recommend this to everyone and will definitely come back to it when we visit again.

Was lucky to find this place a day before the trip. It is located in Urgup which is more quiet and not as crowded as Goreme, which is exactly what I was looking for. You can walk to different restaurants or just enjoy the quiet town on an evening stroll. The hotel is just beautiful, the room had everything I needed and more. The staff was very professional and welcoming from the get go. The breakfast selection provided different delicious options, and the ladies in charge of it were always absolutely amazing and kind. The place is beautiful but what makes it even better is the fact you can tell is a family run business. They make you feel like home from the moment you step in the property. They are helpful and friendly. Always were happy to provided local recommendations and helped me book all my tours, so did not have to worry about having to figure out where to do all that. Definitely recommend!

1.首先位置很不错的，步行大约10-15分钟可到Urgru小镇上，小镇有超市、当地人菜市场、当地人餐厅，物价比较经济实惠，可以体验到当地人的生活。2.内部装修很用心，酒店里到处都是老板各处淘来的古董，很有故事感3.房间很大，还有会客厅 4.早餐很好吃，都是当地妇女自制的，很有家的感觉 5.最重要的是这里的每个人都很友好，老板亲自帮我送包裹去镇上邮寄，我们要去格雷梅参加工作坊，老板都免费开车送过去。包括入住的客人，我们彼此之间都很有爱！值得入住！非常美好的一次体验！

如果可以的话，可以在客房多提供几个衣架。

Excellent property, well located in Urgup and perfect for families and couples alike. Especially excellent were all the staff and that service elevated the whole experience. The owner Mehmet and his team including Daniel helped us with curating and booking hot air balloon rides, horse riding and a private day tour. Nothing in the activities we sought help with was pushed on us and everything was done efficiently and was of a high quality. I recommend this property highly to anybody seeking a quiet and private retreat, but within a short distance of major activities.

Al llegar al hotel, se confirmaron todas nuestras expectativas. El trato de todo el personal ha sido absolutamente impecable: siempre amables, atentos, cercanos y con una sonrisa. Han conseguido que nos sintiéramos bienvenidos desde el primer instante y, durante toda la estancia, nos hemos sentido como en casa. Además, nos ayudaron a organizar varias experiencias inolvidables, como el paseo en globo al amanecer y un tour de día completo por Capadocia, ocupándose de todos los detalles y recomendándonos las mejores opciones. Gracias a ellos, pudimos disfrutar de la región sin preocuparnos por nada. Las instalaciones son maravillosas, el ambiente es acogedor y auténtico, y cada rincón refleja el cuidado y el cariño que ponen en su trabajo. Pero lo que realmente hace especial a este hotel es su equipo humano. Sin duda, Taru Cave Suites es el mejor lugar donde hospedarse en Capadocia. Han convertido nuestro viaje en una experiencia única e inolvidable, llena de momentos especiales que siempre recordaremos. 700 dollar Canadian went missing from our room safe. We discovered this moments before we were to go for breakfast. On the first evening we found the safe would not open (error). I assumed it was because we had entered the wrong code and the hotel staff opened the safe with a key and we never thought about it. The evening before we left this happened again and a member of the staff gave me the key so I opened the safe again thinking the device was defective. The next morning we notice that a majority of our Canadian funds (in large denominations) was missing. Ow I realize each time the safe was opened by key our code was erased so the staff member brazenly took money from us two w and left some bills to try to trick us into not noticing. We were stupid. Being locked out of safe should have been a five away. The worst part of the experience was the owner who accused us of lying. Perhaps he was on on the crime but probably just defensive. I knew we never get the money back but I need to share theis so people stay away.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The staff were helpful and the hotel was within easy driving distance of the main sites of interest.

Lovely location with gorgeous views and wonderful staff. We booked a 3 bed room and found it charming, quiet, with the "cave" feeling. It also had an impressive bathroom with a heated floor. We did the breakfast included and are glad we did. Definitely recommend them!

Struttura molto suggestiva, in posizione molto strategica. Nonostante fossimo arrivati in tarda notte ci hanno accolto con il sorriso e in maniera molto esemplare. Nei giorni seguenti il personale è stato eccelso, malgrado il maltempo ci hanno informato sulle attività del giorno, ci hanno dato dato una mappa della zona. Malgrado gli avessimo chiesto un auto a noleggio all'ultimo minuto ne hanno trovata una economica e affidabile, veramente strepitoso. La camera era mozzafiato (soprattutto il bagno), avevamo sempre a disposizione la bottiglia dell'acqua sul comodino e tutto il necessario per fare tè e caffè. Colazione variegata e molto ricca, con tutte le tipologie di cottura di uova (esempio: omelette tipica turca, uova strapazzate con formaggio...). Quando tornerò in Cappadocia tornerò sicuramente a pernottare lì, lo consiglio!

Hotel upgraded us to a better room with jacuzzi. The staffs are kind and very helpful. Breakfast was great. There were good selection there for Turkish food fruits and vegetable.

The room insulation is not so good but it was quiet after 10 pm. You can hear people walk on the second floor and in front of the room. Bring earplugs.

Al ser una cueva con paredes de piedra, hubiera esperado un aseo mejor para levantar mejor el polvillo fino que naturalmente se desprende.

To our surprise this Cave Hotel has elevator which is very convenient. The breakfast was good; the service provided by the staff responsible for the breakfast was excellent, they even baked a surprise birthday cake for one of our group. The reception team was very responsive to our needs, they even took us to the restaurant the first night and they picked us up when we finished dinner.

Beautiful spacious rooms with charm and character. Very quiet and peaceful location. Breakfast had a huge spread of local food to choose from with the ladies cooking eggs to your liking. The place is practically brand new and everything is immaculate. As it's built on a hillside there's a lift to get you from the top of the property to the bottom. All the staff were friendly welcoming and helpful but the management team, in particular Daniel, go out of their way to give outstanding service. I really can't say enough good things about them, there seemed to be nothing they wouldn't do to help or make your stay enjoyable.

I absolutely loved this place and there's nothing I didn't like or would try to improve. However there's a few things people thinking of booking should consider. Because of it's peaceful hilltop location it's quite a walk into the town, and the walk back up the hill is quite challenging especially if you're doing it in the heat. A taxi home is not expensive! There's absolutely nothing to do at the hotel. There's few places to sit around the place but you can't even sunbathe if that's your thing. If you're planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel and you're in a cave room with no windows you might feel a bit claustrophobic. As a base for doing tours and excursions then return for some peace and quiet it's idyllic.

La posición del hotel es muy buena, un poco retirada y por lo tanto muy tranquila. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y muy bonitas en perfecto estilo de casas-cuevas. El personal muy cordial y siempre disponible. El desayuno muy bueno en estilo turco con gran variedad y cantidad (se puede repetir de todo!). En el hotel nos han ayudado a reservar algunas actividades que han sido muy recomendables. La gestión del hotel es muy familiar (solo 12 suites).
