Ambience is appealing. We were disappointed in the meal quality. Also did not like the limitations on making reservations for the restaurants.
I really wanted to like this place but here I am writing out my list of grievances like it’s festivus because I’ve rarely been so excited to leave a hotel. If you are looking for a loud pool party resort, this place might be ok for 2-3 days. They don’t do a good job of cleaning or restocking the rooms. At first I thought it was just mismanagement but after a few days it seems that there is no management anywhere to be found. The building is kind of cool but still incomplete when they’ve been open for 2 years. The food and drink are mostly ok but sometimes take far too long and some items were very bad. When we had lunch at the buffet I asked our server for water 3 times and never got it. Nothing is open and there are no workers to be found before 7 am, which is weird because all other Hyatt resorts have a 24/7 coffee shop. The concierge does nothing but lie. I emailed the golf course 4 weeks ago and they told me to reach out to the hotel in order to book tee times. I emailed Joshua Jimenez 5 times and he said it was booked. When I spoke to the pro shop directly they confirmed that they’ve never heard from Joshua or Fernando. My wife and I also tried to reserve Bali beds ahead of time but the concierge acted like they didn’t know what we were talking about. The beach club is a complete mess and nobody knows what’s going on, they are apparently selling day passes when there are already not enough chairs for the hotel guests. Just an overall disappointment, I would not recommend booking here unless it is the cheapest option and you have low expectations. It’s an insult to the Hyatt brand.
After 2 nights in our room I was eaten alive by something not sure what i was but I have bite everywhere and manager David was no help at all and rude to say the least. I was on location for alittle get away myself but to take video and images for my clients ( as I am a travel agent) and i would never send them to this location after how David spoke with me honestly. Some images there is too many bites to show them all even on my face...
Review this will be a very extensive review, so please enjoy! I went with 9 people in total ranging from ages 21-64. Food I am gluten intolerant, and was pleased with the options provided to me. I did feel sick twice so won’t say that it’s perfect, but overall staff are knowledgeable. When someone didn’t know if something was gluten free, they would go to another staff to check, which I appreciated. Your options for gluten free were obviously limited, especially for things like pasta, pizza, bread, desserts. However I never went hungry and was generally satisfied with my meals! I would like to shoutout one of the managers, Jose at the buffet. Every morning he ensured they made a special gluten free meal for me, usually tacos with corn tortillas. He always told me what my options were and made sure I had enough to eat! I will note that the menus and buffet items were always labeled, however sometimes these were wrong. But once again, just ask and they will confirm. I will also share non gluten free food opinions from the rest of my group. Overall, they were impressed with the food and there were always enough options. Breakfast buffet was great, with egg station, different breads/ pastries, classic American breakfast options, Mexican breakfast, sweets, and fruit. Lunch buffet fell flat for us, not that many options and it wasn’t super fresh the day we went. Instead, stick with the ceviche place! Very fresh and delicious, also right by the pool making it very convenient. The ranking of the restaurants are as follows in the groups opinion: Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, Asian. We have very high standards for Asian food… it wasn’t bad by any means. It’s on the rooftop so you get gorgeous views as well! My personal rankings as the gluten free person are: Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, and Italian. You can have almost everything on the Mexican menu, whereas you are more limited at the Italian restaurant. I recommend downloading the Hyatt app so you can see the menus before hand and ensure there will be something you like! Entertainment: This entertainment crew, especially Cesar, Orlando, and Sofia was great! They did such a good job at having lots of activities for everyone’s interests, from art, exercise, wellness, food, and more. Some things I did was the sound meditation, Pilates, aqua aerobics, watercolour, beach volleyball, sage workshop, bracelet making, and dream catcher. They also had cocktail class, HIIT workout, yoga, casino games, pickleball, ping pong. I also liked that they were always encouraging you to do an activity, but never being pushy! Be sure to check the schedule and get to your activity 15 minutes early, as they often got booked up quick! As far as evening activities, there wasn’t too much compared to other resorts, if you like shows. Instead of shows, they did things like bingo, casino games, mystic night with tarot card readers, etc. It was a nice change and good to see them trying to target an adult demographic, as it’s not a family resort. Pools and Beach Club: The pools were nice, there were 2 with 1 being the main one and the other being used more often for activities. The music was never too loud at the pool, which I enjoyed. Additionally, the servers were always very attentive and it was easy to get a drink! Compared to other resorts, it was no issue to get a lounger. For our large group we would get a spot around 9am. You could still get spots at 11am if you were a smaller group, or okay to not be pool side. It was nice to go somewhere where you don’t have to be up at 7am to grab a spot! The beach club was great and I highly recommend going! The shuttle leaves at 10am and there was usually a line by 930/45am. If you are picky about getting a good spot at the beach, line up a bit earlier. There’s a decent amount of spots at the beach, and worst case scenario, you go to the sand and lay down a towel! I would recommend not getting there for 11;30-1pm as that seemed busy and harder to get a spot if you just arrived. It does die down after 2pm as people start to head back. I did miss having a beach right at the resort, but it’s only a 5min shuttle so really not a big deal at all in my books! But, if you love the beach and ocean, you may want to think about that. The beach club itself was very nice with comfortable chairs and it wasn’t too loud. There is a bar and food, although not that many options. The tuna poke nachos were amazing! The water was so blue and very nice to swim in, although could get rough at times, so be careful. Service: Overall, everyone was very friendly and you could tell people enjoyed working there. I would like to shoutout Roselia and Dyana, who greeted us at the buffet every morning and lunch with a smile! Servers were fairly quick and you could get drinks quick too, so no complaints there. Overall: If you are looking for a more quiet, chill vacation; but still want some entertainment options, this if the resort for you! It is not a mega resort, like some we’ve been to, but we enjoyed that. You won’t spend much time getting to and from places and it feels much chiller. You don’t have to worry about getting a chair at the pool or beach for the most part, and same goes with reservations- especially if you are a smaller party than us.
I was suspicious when I saw so many "too good to be true" reviews, but we're going to put ours on the pile. This place is incredible! We've stayed at other Hyatt all-inclusives but had the best experience with this one. The decor is really gorgeous, the rooms are huge (if possible to upgrade to a corner room with wrap-around balcony, it's worth it), and the food was far above what I expected. The specialty restaurants are particularly good. While this report is on the bay rather than the beach, it makes it feel much more secluded and private. It's also far quieter than resorts in the "hotel zone". But it's the best of both worlds as their beach club is really incedible. Just a 5 min shuttle away (shuttles run every 20m), it features amazing views, infinity pools, easy ocean access, and a restaurant that delivers to your chair. Note that we were there over the winter holidays, so I have no idea how it gets in peak season; we estimated ~900 guests, and it was a really nice vibe. For the money, this is genuinely one of the best all-inclusives going. Can't wait to go back!
This hotel located at golf court has great green view combining with ocean view. It’s stunning if choosing the corner room. The other advantage is it has three different pools and closes at different time. The overall service is good. If you want some delicious food, I suggest go to somewhere else. Meat is overall overcooked. The vantage club has lots of cute desserts. You will need to take shuttle bus to access the beach.
We had a fantastic time! The hotel matched and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!! The service is excellent
New hotel, clean facilities, amazing friendly staff. Food options were good, although somewhat limited for vegans, but still doable, specially in dinner restaurants. Overall good experience, but to come back, vegan options would have to be better. Being dog friendly is for sure a plus! Thanks for accommodating our needs for our doggie. He even got a cute bed for our stay.
From check in to check out, we had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to help. Although the beach access is a 5 minute shuttle ride that is provided by the resort, it is definitely worth it. Overall, we would go again!
Location of hotel is excellent. Next to golf course, quite and peacefull, away from main roadway. Rooms, are very clean. Every day room serive, fill sall the supplies., linen ,water, fridge, coffee , etc.
Before we visited the facility, we watched a YouTube video, saying that only chicken wings are good food; however, we were amazed by both variety and quality of their foods. Particularly, their sea foods were excellent. In addition, we experienced their Yoga, Pilates, and Sound healing activities, all of which were also very satisfying. Of course, their beach and pool experiences were great, but bus transportation has limited number of seats, so if you want to go when they open, you should wait for the bus a bit earlier than 10 am. Overall, we definitely recommend this hotel, particularly if you are sea food lovers.
Everything at the Hyatt Vivid Grand Resort in Cancun was excellent! I have to add that Kristina and Kevin from Seaside Rendezvous Weddings made this trip spectacular!!! Everything with booking the hotel, the catamaran day trip to Isla Mujeras, the wedding rehearsal at the Beach Club, shuttles, cocktails, dinners and the wedding, booking our shuttles to and from the airport. Everything was a "10"!!!
Here’s a polished hotel review that captures all of that clearly and honestly, while still sounding like a real guest experience: --- **Mixed Experience – Great Pools and Food, but Service Issues Hurt Our Stay** This hotel had some real highlights, but unfortunately several major issues overshadowed what could have been a great vacation. The biggest disappointment was the rooftop Japanese restaurant at night. We waited **two and a half hours** to be seated, only to finally sit down and be told the **kitchen was closed**. We went to bed hungry after planning our evening around this reservation. What made it worse was watching **other guests still being served food** after we were turned away. The hostess, **Lisa**, was extremely snarky and dismissive throughout the entire process. Her attitude alone completely ruined the experience and honestly put a damper on our whole stay. Another major issue was the **air conditioning**, which was out for most of our stay. The hotel rooms and common areas were **extra hot**, making it very uncomfortable. I felt miserable walking around with **frizzy hair and overheating constantly**, which is not what you expect on a vacation you’re paying good money for. On the positive side, we **loved the pool setup**. The layout was beautiful, and the daytime **activities by the pool were fun and well done**. The **food at the pool was excellent**, and both the **bartender and waiter at the main pool truly made our stay**—they were friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with. The **beach club food was also very good**, but there needs to be **much better music and overall vibe** there. In general, the hotel felt **boring at night**, with very few activities or entertainment options once the sun went down. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential: great pools, great pool staff, and good food in certain areas. However, the **lack of nighttime activities**, **broken A/C**, and especially the **terrible service at the rooftop Japanese restaurant**—specifically from the hostess—really hurt our experience. With better management and customer service, this could be a fantastic resort, but as it stands, it fell short.
We stayed four nights at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island over Christmas Eve, and had a great experience. I’m a Hyatt Globalist and booked entirely on points at 17,000 points per night, which already felt like a great deal. I had read a lot of reviews before so I wanted to help others in this review coming from a globalist and redemption. We were upgraded to the Vantage Club Master Suite Bay View King. I booked without a SUA so wasn’t sure if we would get upgraded but we did! It was huge with a wrap around patio on the 9th floor. I honestly still can’t believe the value for the points. The suite was incredible: spacious, beautifully designed. The closets were great also, lots of space. With the upgrade, we received all the Vantage Club perks, which really elevated the stay. The Vantage Club bar was excellent, with quality liquor and a relaxed atmosphere. Hector and Andy in the vantage bar were amazing. They made the trip even better. Never had a tiramisu coffee martini before. They always remembered what we liked and great personalities. The resort overall was very clean, well maintained, and well laid out. It was easy to pop up to the room to get things. It wasn’t a “party” resort which was great. Lots of nice people though, felt safe. We are in 40s. There were many 20s looking couples like college age but definitely not party people. Didn’t see many groups of singles mostly grown families and couples. The vibes were very low maintenance people though- there to relax and enjoy and not pretentious (which drives me crazy on vacations when people try to act all fancy) and the dress code was lax not formal for women so I never had to iron anything. We ate at all of the restaurants on property. I had read the reviews about the ceviche so had to do that first. We had heard the Japanese restaurant was really good so we ate there earlier in the trip. The best menu item I thought was at the beach bar- they had tuna poke nachos and they were delicious! For all-inclusive we have had trouble getting reservations in previous stays (different resorts) so we made reservations the night before for the restaurants we wanted to ensure to get the times we wanted. One night we showed up and somehow the reservation didn’t get made and the manager came over, noted I was globalist, and got us a table without any issues. I’m normally not much of a beach person (prefer pool/cabana) - some of the reviews say bad things about having a shuttle but it wasn’t that big of a deal. I probably would have only done the beach one day if it wasn’t for the tuna poke nachos. Rumbia was our waiter at the beach and he was very attentive and great service. We opted to attend the vacation club sales presentation in exchange for an 80-minute couples massage at the spa, which they listed as a $450 value. The massage was fantastic and well worth it for us since I’m all about getting things for free. Service throughout the resort was great. Housekeeping serviced the room frequently, and the ability to text requests through the app made everything easy and efficient. If I had to mention two very minor downsides: I love hot tubs and there weren’t any on property (except the vivid suite?) and the mattress /bedding felt more like a Hyatt Place rather than the plusher higher end bed/bedding. But was still nice. I genuinely felt awkward telling people we were staying “for free” on points because the experience felt anything but. This was an incredible use of Hyatt points, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommend, especially for Globalists or anyone booking on points looking for exceptional value. Curious if I would have used a SUA if I could have gotten the Vivid suite now! Anyways, was a great value and will definitely come back in the future.
This is a great hotel. I stayed here with my friend on a girls trip. All of the staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The food was great. We were greeted with a welcome drink (fresh pressed pineapple and cucumber) upon check in. We upgraded to a vantage club room. We were taken to a special vantage check in lounge with food, full bar and desk’s to sit during the check in process. The downstairs pool had a DJ each day which was amazing. We felt safe the entire time. The best meal we had was dinner at the MEDITERRANEO restaurant. The buffet was good but just an average buffet in my opinion. Overall, a great stay and I hope to return again soon.
The hotel staff is beyond amazing! The entertainment staff of Orlando, Angel, and Ceasar kept us laughing and entertained. Was not expecting this part of the trip to be so wonderful! Roberto, Jesus G., Alberto, Alexis took such great care of us all week at the pool bars, both lower level and rooftop! We were made to feel at home and like family. Not a single need wasn’t met and we laughed and gained new friends from our stay here. They all deserve a giant $ raise! The food choices were phenomenal! Oishi is great Japanese. and the buffet at Galeria International Cafe was top tier fantastic- so many choices! Loved the adorable food truck/van off the pol deck! Super fun, delicious food and drinks!
The hotel was nice; however our air condition did not work for 2 days. Actually the whole building didn't have it during the day and evening and no one communicated when it would be resolved. We slept 2 nights without any air con and had to keep the fan and deck door open which didn't help because we got bit by mosquitos. This was very disappointing. The staff overall was nice and the building was clean and well kept.
My friend and i had an absolutely amazing trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, welcoming, and well thought out. The location was perfect, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Every detail—from the service to the surroundings—made this trip feel special. We loved all the activities offered such as yoga, breathwork, sound healing, aqua bikes and pool challenges but also enjoyed workshops like candle making, sage away and painting. The E-team is really top-notch and very multi talented! They work hard but seem to enjoy every moment of it and it makes a huge difference! Eric at Aglio was the best server and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners there and at the rooftop restaurant. The room was modern and spacious! A transfer to the beach club was easy and quick! Highly recommend and will come back for sure!
Great Service Great food Great Location minus the trip to the beach (5min) not an issue for us but may be for others. Lack of liveliness around both pools. But great music vibes at the beach club! almost too chill at both pools.
Location is great, rooftop pool great, entertainment awful, room service app doesn’t work, no lunch room service options, roof top pool cold. Upstairs vantage is a must. Italian restaurant was not good all rest were ok but Japanese was wonderful
Beautiful hotel, amazing friendly, helpful staff. Chilled environment with nighttime life. My only complaint is I am a foodie so I expected better food.
This property opened in April 2024 and it shouldn’t have. Visible construction and AC issues from the moment we arrived
My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and had an overall wonderful time. The food and drinks are amazing! Best I’ve had in any resort. We highly recommend the ceviche station, Jesus and Mario made sure to take really good care of us there. Make sure to also try the tequila tasting with Geovanny. He was able to accommodate us one evening after having some booking issues on the app and he went above and beyond on his presentation with us. The rooms and all facilities were impeccable and clean! They do a great job of keeping everything in line. The beach club was also a neat area to have since the hotel is not beach frontage. We spent a day out there and really enjoyed it. Our only complaint would be with concierge on booking golf tee times. You can’t book online and the club house is not a short walk. You have to have concierge book the tee times for you. They were able to accommodate my husband 1 afternoon tee time at sister club El Tinto which he enjoyed. However he had to physically go back and check with them what times were available because they never communicated with us like they said they would. Secondly, on Monday he agreed and confirmed with concierge for an 8 am tee time for Friday at the course that’s next to the hotel. On Thursday my husband followed up with them via WhatsApp to confirm and they said they would get back to him and never did. We arrived at 11pm from our tour we had booked for Thursday and we had to stop in person to verify the Friday morning tee time and they let us know that no reservation had been booked and there was none available. It was disappointing because he didn’t get to play the course during our stay and part of the reason we chose this hotel was for the convenience of the golf course being next door. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.
Highlights of my trip were the food and the beach club. Staff was also great. Every request I made was completed in timely manner.
Mexican Chocolate Angel taught us salsa lesson and it WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Best trip I have had for sure!!! 🤎🥳 would def recommend yall to come!!!
Amaizing staff, super friendly, very good food and awesome salsa dance session with Mexican Chocolate Angel. EXCELLENTE!!!!!
Awesome resort with great food. Best part for us was having Jesus as our poolside staff. He was welcoming from Day 1 and we pretty much followed him around as he worked at different areas of the resort. Jesus was very friendly and accommodating to all of our requests. Would definitely come back!
It was a solid experience at an all inclusive resort. The food was fair and the rooms were very large. However, there was no bathtub in the room even though it was advertised to have one.
Newer resort, set back from main roadway. Excellent 4.5 out of 5. Buffet was delicious for breakfast and lunch. Restaurants were nice but could have used more flavor. Great customer service.
Rebeca was awesome and very multi talented instructor and I enjoyed her classes. The activities were very creative and spiritual!
Excellent atmosphere. The bartenders are great! The food was amazing and the service was top notch. So much fun, would definitely recommend
It is not a luxury resort, but verall a decent until I found 2 pieces hair in my food. Entertainment is lacking. Im on the fence whether i would recommend this resort, due to there being so many more options in the Hotel Zone.
Very clean hotel.we loved the bathroom super clean and the view from our balcony was awesome. The Concierge was great about what is going on that weekend. We love to visit again.
We stayed here for 10 days. We had a great time. The service was outstanding. Our waitresses at the Buffet (Dyana and Roselia) were excellent and made us feel so welcomed and loved. We also enjoyed Jesus in the pool area. He made wonderful Mai Tais for us, which were incredible. We loved this hotel; the service was great, and the room service was very responsive. Housekeeping did a great job. The hotel decorated our room with rose petals for our anniversary. Please see the attached photo. This was unexpected but a very nice gesture. The only complaint was that the property was not on the beach. They have a nice beach club and provide transportation to it, but it was too small and crowded. However, the pools in the hotel were sufficient. We never struggled to find a nice chair there.
The Cobalt RT became our go-to spot, and it never missed. Betel and Alberto are absolute legends behind the bar — couldn’t recommend them more.
Don't let the outside of this hotel fool you. Cold concrete and glass holds warm hearted, professional staff, beautiful and roomy accommodations and THE best food we have ever had at an all inclusive resort. You can't go wrong with any of the restaurant options. Whoever is hiring the chefs has done an outstanding job. Our stay was highlighted by the wonderful service in the pool area. Each day Jesus greeted us and served us with his friendly and warm personality. We enjoyed our conversations and learning about his family and adventures. Anna, the water board yoga instructor was fantastic. Her expertise helped me get through her challenging and fun class. I can guarantee we will be back here again.
We recently had a great time at the Hyatt Vivid GI. All 8 in our party paid for the Vantage Club - and you would be crazy not to do the same. The rooms are gorgeous and the opportunity to have access to the rooftop (Mario up there is the absolute best) was well worth it- in addition to the Vantage Club which was very nice (shout out to Moses who was always smiling & made fantastic drinks). Sunsets on the rooftop while in the pool was sensational! We had a Golf & Ocean view suite and it was absolutely beautiful - watched many people attempt to slay #18 on the Iberostar Golf Course...which I did not :(. Also, the Ennea Beach Club was absolutely beautiful and the water was fantastic - way better than what I have encountered in the states. You HAVE TO head down there at least once on your trip (shout out to Miguel who was always there for us). Dining experiences... Aglio had fantastic pizza Bloom bar was OK but way too busy to get drinks at the bar during big sporting events/ nightly entertainment Coco Café was not very good. Limited options and the service was quite slow Dalia was OK but I preferred the food truck and the guys out there were hilarious I did not try Fresco Café but the ones in my party that did raved about it (tucked behind the main pool on the lower level) Galleria Café had a ton of options for everyone Guys at the Nectar bar were great and their Mezcal Old Fashioned were out of this world Finally, the Oishii was very god for Japanese cuisine but the morning breakfast was...ok Another shoutout to (Super) Mario on the rooftop. Best Friend Forever Long winded but hope this helps
I tried to get info on golf packages or golf price to play at iberostar cancun right beside your hotel and nobody nows anything so I can't reserve there very bad service no e-mail for concierge.
Betel and Alberto in the Vantage Club rooftop pool area bar were very friendly and top notch and make the best drinks ever.
This was our second visit to Hyatt Vivid Grand Island for me and my wife, as we stayed here previously with friends last year (we traveled with the same friends this time too). As with our first visit, we had another excellent visit. The staff at this resort truly made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We suggest choosing the Vantage Club option as it provides additional amenities such as a served breakfasts, rooftop pool, bar lounge with premium alcohol and snacks, and access to larger rooms with beautiful views. Besides the served breakfast on the rooftop (Vantage Club and very nice), the breakfast buffet also provides a large selection of different food items, including made to order omelets and eggs. No disappointments for either breakfast option. We typically used the Vantage Club rooftop for lunch and always had excellent food and service. The rooftop pool was a perfect place to hang out for the day. The pool concierge ensured lounge chairs were properly reserved. Make sure you introduce yourself to him and inform him when you will leave for short amounts of time to make sure he knows you are coming back. No live music here, but recorded music was provided. Our favorite dinner location remains as the Japanese restaurant (Oishii). All of the restaurants served very good food, but our group preferred Oishi the most. The restaurant is on the rooftop which can be a little windy at night, but recent renovations include glass panels that can be moved and do a good job of blocking the wind. Make sure you visit the Ennea Beach Club. You will not be disappointed. Free transport is included and is less than a 10 minute drive away. Lines start forming at 9:30 am for the transport van’s first departure of the day. Two small pools and a nice beach with plenty of lounge chairs will ensure your visit is pleasant. The restaurant now charges if you want to have a sit-down lunch, but servers will provide great snacks/lunches to you if you would like to remain in the beach or lounge chair area at no additional charge. Rooms were cleaned and tidied up very nicely by housekeeping every day. They work hard, so I’m sure a small daily tip is appreciated. Everything worked as it should in the room, so no problems there. I recommend visiting this resort. As I mentioned in my December 2024 review (more details provided), the resort is presently very affordable. I encourage future visitors to give this resort a try as I do not believe they will be disappointed. Resort Staff that made our stay a great one: Leticia- a very friendly and hard worker that made sure our meals (breakfast and lunch) at the Vantage Club were enjoyable. Karla- our hostess at the breakfast buffet with a friendly smile and personality that started our day. Roberto- a very hard worker that always made sure we had everything we needed and was always fun to be around at the Vantage Club pool. Mario- a very hard worker, and like his brother Roberto (above) from another mother (I'm pretty sure a joke), made sure we had our drinks and snacks ready at the Vantage Club Pool.
Great stay food wasn't the best didn't like it need a reservation to eat everywhere but it was great for relaxing and chill
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort. The room had great views and was very spacious. There was enough variety in food that everyone should be able to find something delicious to eat. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time.
What a wonderful experience. We spent 7 days here. Great Fitness classes. It is wonderful that they offer so many wellness activities. Food was excellent at each restaurant (Karla was always so sweet at breakfast). Entertainment staff was awesome...especially Rebecca! Beach club was so nice and felt like a little adventure. 20 minutes from the airport made it really convenient. Bring water shoes if you plan to go to Xplor (highly recommend)!
One of my favourite resort experiences ever ! My wife and I went to this resort twice in one year. In April and then again in December 2025. Food is exceptional, service was amazing. Special shout outs to Taylor, Orlando, Gamabel, Angel, Rebecca, Cesar and the rest of the staff at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Thank you for making my wife and I stays such an incredible experience!
The location is beautiful with the golf course or the bay view. The atmosphere due to the entertainment team, bar staff and hospitality team made our trip on to remember. We celebrated our birthdays with them and they went above and beyond. Quite after midnight but there a full day schedule everyday including fitness classes, paddle, ping pong, poker, salsa dancing so we didn't even need to leave on the days we didn't want to. The rooms are huge and luxurious, kept clean everyday through the maid service. The price for 2 weeks in an all inclusive 5 star resort was more than reasonable and we did abuse the unlimited bar and restaurants. All trips and excursions can be booked within the hotel which made it easy and safe. Special shout out to Angel, Sofia, Maria, Cezar, Orlando, Oliver and Patricio. All such lovely people and deserve a pay rise for all the memories they created for us. Can't wait to see you all again!
This trip was not just a vacation for my wife and I it was a memorable experience Which I can say, was provided by the excellent staff and entertainment committee of the hotel Grand Vivid to provide activities and excellent accommodations for our stay restaurants and bars were all excellent and service was above and beyond expectations
The food was exceptional. There were activities for all ages. Evening entertainment was great. Plenty of seats and room at the pools. Easy 7 minute transportation to the beautiful beach - pools available there too. Resort was spotless and the staff was excellent. I felt this was a great value for the cost.
The hotel was great, but the staff made all the difference… a photo ****Cesar was amazing****5 stars***** 10 days seems like 3
We had an excellent time at the Vivid Grand island. Rooms were huge, the facilities and entertainment were top notch. The staff were very attentive. Jesus, our poolside server was excellent. Always perfectly timed for a drink or some water. Eduardo, the bartender, made the best margaritas I had in Cancun! Both were super friendly and made our stay extra special.
Jesus & Eduardo gave us the best service! 10/10 service at the pool at all times!!! If you are skeptical, don’t be! Super service
Our experience was wonderful! Jesus and Edwardo provided excellent service while we were enjoying our time at the pool
spent 7 nights in late November as a couple in our early 30’s. We’ve stayed at other all-inclusives before, and this was our first time at a Hyatt AI property. We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food was good quality, and the staff are attentive and fun. We had a great time poolside most days we were here and never had an issue finding a chair. Our server Oliver made our time at the pool wonderful- he was very attentive and kept our glasses full and our hunger tamed every day. The Vivid 1 pool is heated, perfect for a morning or evening swim or a windy or overcast day. The Vivid 2 pool is not but felt great after being out in the hot sun. The rooftop pool (Vantage only) was definitely the coldest pool, but we still didn’t have any issue with the temp with us being in the sun all day. The rooftop was nice for a calmer, more serene vibe- but we actually preferred hanging out around the main pools downstairs. We did the beach club 2 days we were there. The shuttle is hot and stuffy, but it is only 10 minutes (half the drive is just getting off the property). The beach club property itself is gorgeous and the sand is prestine. They deliver your drinks and food right to your beach chair- the poke nachos are the perfect beach snack! The water was a good temperature and the waves were fun (it was a yellow flag day most days we were there). The beach club IS in high-demand and the only place we had trouble getting a chair, so recommend getting there in the morning and making a day of it. The activities schedule has something every hour of the day, from health and wellness activities like sound healing, pickleball, and yoga/pilates to fun activities like wine tasting, music trivia, and poolside games/challenges. Rebecca, Angel, Orlando, Caesar and the entire entertainment crew do a great job of keeping guests engaged and having a good time. We thought the food at the resort was good quality and on-par with other resorts we’ve been to. The international buffet has a great mix of food every day for breakfast and lunch and always had something we liked. The rooftop breakfast (Vantage only) was a nice touch. The welcome mimosa was a nice touch and The Croque Madame was as good as the views! The ceviche restaurant by the main pool is a must-try, it was so so good and a great afternoon snack. Oishi (Japanese) was our favorite- the Yakimeshi, mixed teppanyaki and sushi were delicious with the fried banana spring roll dessert. We really enjoyed the portobello carpaccio, Cacio e pepe, and penne from Aglio (Italian). Mediterraneo had really good Kofta and Shawarma as well as Khachapuri. Dalia (Mexican) had a tasty catch of the day and Nayarit-Style Fish Tostadas. The sweet corn cream soup and northern-style beef were good comfort food. Overall the food hit the spot and we always were able to find something we liked. It met our expectations for resort food and exceeded it in some areas. They do a good job with their options and menus- I do wish there were more late-night options though. We really enjoyed the time we spent at this resort, the people we met and the experiences we shared were fantastic. We found this resort to be a great value and would stay here again. Apologies for the long review, but wanted to share our experience!
I've visited the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort for 2 weeks for a friend's 30th birthday. We came as a party of 6 and we were amazed when we first arrived at the resort because it looked even better than the pictures. You're greeted by two big pools as you enter the resort. The rooms were excellent and modern with USB-C sockets being present on the plugs, no need for the adapters I had brought. The check-in and check-out processes are both smooth, taking only minutes. It's slightly confusing but the reception area has three (as far as I'm aware) distinct sections - left for VIP service, middle for check-in and out and also peso exchange services (I exchanged large pesos notes to 20 pesos notes here) and right for the concierge. Food and beverages were much better than I had initially anticipated, with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dinner restaurants operate as standard sit-down restaurants where you are seated at a table, order from a menu, and have food arrive at your table. The only difference is that you don't need to pay as it's all included. All the restaurants were good, the Japanese (Oishiii) and Itailian (Aglio) being my two favourite ones. Lunch time you can either hit up Vivid Bites (we call it Taco Truck) for tacos, Fresca Ceviche for fresh ceviche, BBQ pop-up for burgers and whatever else they have on that day (e.g., roast chicken, ribs, hotdogs, and others), and finally the buffet at Galleria Cafe which has a multitude of options. Honestly, I've put on around 3kg across two weeks so that should say it all. I was also at least mildly intoxicated as cocktails are included as part of the all-inclusive. Big shout out to Oliver, Roger, and Patricio who served us drinks and food when we were on the sunbeds (which was most days). What really made the resort for me was the variety of entertainment activities happening every day. These vary from fitness classes (e.g., pilates, aqua-aerobics, aqua-cycling, etc.), creative workshops (bracelet and dream catcher making, wine & paint sessions, etc.), live bands and singers, salsa nights, party nights, and so on! The entertainment team are also phenomenal at their job and they've really elevated my stay. I want to give a massive shout out to Angel (AKA Mexican Chocolate from the Heavens), Cesar, Orlando, Taylor, Sofia, and Ashley from the entertainment team for always bringing a smile to my face and being absolutely excellent both during and outside of activities. I would highly recommend this resort, you'll be well looked after with food in your belly, a drink in your hand, and entertainment running until 11pm every night. - Brandon
Wonderful and beautiful Resort. Awesome food even in the buffet. Pools are also amazing, but only 1 is heated. I don't mind for heated pools however the ones not heated felt like we were in spring waters or waterfall temperatures. Wonderful service, super nice employees that treat you well and nice em especial Oliver at the second pool :) Beach Club is beautiful and food is super nice, however lines in the morning are terrible, and if you get to it later then, it's really hard to get a seat. Entertainment at night is next to nothing, so don't expect much. Rooftop pool definitely has its charm, however water is ice cold and the time we went on Nov it was crowed with only 1 bar which means you gotta wait and wait for you drinks (even been Vantage). For me it didn't worth the upgrade, except for the Vantage Club bar next to the the lobby. That bar itself is awesome, great bartenders and snacks. Particularly Thursdays the chocolate snacks are out of this world.
Oliver by the pool was amazing and was always checking in on us to see if we needed anything. Cesar, Orlando and Rebecca made the trip so fun. I loved all the activities they hosted, they felt like family by the end of the trip. All of the staff was incredible, always willing to help with a smile on their face, you could tell they really loved their jobs. The beach club was beautiful, the ocean was swimable and had a good food menu. This was my favourite resort I have ever been to and I hope to be back
Just came back from my birthday trip here and I had the best time! The hotel itself is really beautiful, clean, safe and wonderfully decorated. The rooftop pool has stunning views of the sunset, the drinks were decent quality up here and the Vantage club. It’s definitely worth spending the little extra for Vantage club as I feel like you could tell the difference in the quality of drinks at times between the vantage options and the regular poolside drinks. The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. A big shoutout to the entertainment staff, Taylor, Orlando and Caesar, they were all so friendly and very entertaining. It was really nice to talk to them like regular people but they were also very professional. Entertainment during the day and evening are varied, some repeat during the week which I appreciate because sometimes I’d miss something that I wanted to do due to being out on an excursion but knowing it’s happening again in a few days is quite nice to know. The beach club is beautiful, can run out of beds quite quickly but depends on the time of day you go. The food here is really good, wish there were a few more options though as you’d end up eating the same thing everyday. Food in the hotel was pretty good. The breakfast and lunch buffet were tasty and didn’t get sick from any salads or fruits, there’s a lot of options. I do wish there was a dinner buffet as the biggest negative of the hotel is the booking system for the restaurants. We’d end up always getting reservations for dinner either 6pm or 9:30pm which is not ideal when you just want to chill and not worry about dinner. The reservations would get booked up really quickly so you have to set yourself a reminder everyday to get a time you want and even then they might not even be available. The food at the restaurants were good, a downside here was that some of the food would come out cold. Which is a shame because the flavours are there but when it’s cold, it ruins the experience a bit. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday trip. Would return again.
Outstanding stay and experience!!!! All inclusive was the best choice!!! Staff were the best!!! Would recommend to family and friends!!!
My girlfriend and I came to this resort for our anniversary. For our first get away together, we wanted to find a perfect place that had everything she wanted and everything I wanted as well. And we found the Hyatt Grand Vivid Island was that place for us! With excellent service from check in to check out, to good vibes and wonderful experiences throughout our stay. We loved our room and how well it was laid out, we loved the atmosphere from all the events they had throughout the day and night. We happily upgraded to the vantage club membership for 50 USD a night for access to the vantage club, the infinity pool upstairs and breakfast and Lunch in the roof top restaurant) the rooftop restaurant is the Japanese restaurant you can book for dinner with or without the vantage club membership. With the buffet at the international cafe being a top favourite for the amount of options and freshness. We do recommend if you do get the vantage club membership to purchase your excursions and such first so you know what days you will be busy as the vantage club kind of goes to waste past 5 pm for the rooftop amenities. The beach club was amazing as well! We had a lot of fun and the food and service there was excellent considering how busy it was . We do recommend if you want the best seats possible to start lining up at 9ish or maybe even before to get the best seats but we got pretty decent seats being the 4-5th shuttle there. We loved the room service and the vivid food truck when you were late and couldn’t make it for any of the restaurants. The coco cafe which is open 24 hrs has phenomenal snack food and coffees as well!. Also something to note is the pool downstairs is heated but the infinity pool for vantages club memberships on the roof top is not. So if you aren’t a fan of a little chilly water that might be a selling point as well. All in all we loved this place and will gladly be back again in the future!
Better than expected with a dew minor issues regarding pool staff and chair hogging, aside from that, it was good. Food at the Buffet is the best in my opinion, please note - specialty restaurants do not let you take any leftovers to your room
Pros: The staff makes the resort. Most are extremely friendly and such hard working. Cons: The dinner reservation “system” needs major improvement, lots of confusion especially on first day (they need to have a back up option besides food truck so people do not have to miss dinner). Most food just mediocre. Pools cold but lovely. Hot tub cold. Beach club nice. Spa is only massage and facials (no “spa..”) but the massages were great. The entertainment works hard but there is a gap most nights from 7/8-11:30 or 12 am with nothing. Made it hard to stay up to go to DJ with a 3 hour gap. Don’t set expectations too high - but enjoy the sunshine and rooftop pool (if Vantage club) and time with great friends.
Hotel was beautiful just as the pictures described. It was very nice and peaceful ☺️ the live music was amazing, I love so much the fire pits they light up (they should light them up every night) excellent service, everyone was so friendly specially our favorite bartenders Betel & Jesus. Is definitely a place I will visit again, just next time with my partner 😉 Only thing I wasn’t pleased with was the entrance to the hotel is way too long and you can’t just walkout, you need a car, but other than that was amazing 🤩
This hotel is just amazing! Its my second time here and it did not disappoint. The vibe is so great and everything is on point. Shout out to Pote from the beach club! This guy truly knows the value and meaning of customer service, always going above and beyond to meet our needs and show us a great time! Also our waiter Alexis at the mexican restaurant was great. His recommendations and service were just like a high end resto! Will be going back again soon. Love this hotel for the vibes, the food, the entertainment, the cleanliness, you name it, they’ve got it!
Ceviche wonderful food and the server Jesus , very friendly . Rebecca also very friendly for activities . Clean rooms , housekeeping wonderful also
The fresco ceviche kitchen is well taken care of ! Fresh flavorful and amazing waiter. Jesus is attentive and funny friendly and humble. Mario the chef is an amazing chef. He is fast in the kitchen and his ceviche is the best I’ve ever had!! Please come and visit!! You will not be disappointed!!!
Jesus and the chef at the ceviche bar were amazing the food was so fresh and delicious. Best ceviche I've had!!!! Definitely recommend.
Had the best time and exceeded our expectations. Vantage club is worth the upgrade to experience the rooftop pool and stunning views during day and night. I was not expecting to love this resort as much as we did. The service was top notch and all staff were friendly and welcoming. 10 /10 Food was incredible and drinks were premium and thanks to Alberto and Mario for there care and attention.
Great resort! Very friendly staff, we visited with a group of couples and it was a perfect time. Nice and clean pools, luxurious rooms and premium food and drinks.
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island HVG This experience has been beyond our expectations. The food is delicious, plentyfull at all the restaurants and at the buffet. The morning breakfast has more offers than you can imagine, clean and super efficient friendly staff. For the first time we tried a Mexican herbal decaf coffee here, brewed with floating slices of apple and cinnamon in it…..Very delicious, nutritious. This resort leans towards Wellness and healthy options for everyone. Nightlife ends by 11pm so u can be restful for the early morning rise and shine! The gym is small and can be packed at 6am. You can book the restaurants on the day of, but there’s always seating available ….if you don’t feel like eating out, the room service menu for dinner is incredibly good, with many healthy options. The Coco Café has fresh sorts of coffee and sandwiches, they prepare for you right on site. Only members from the vantage club have access to all day access and poolside seating at the rooftop, but you can book and eat at the Japanese restaurant at the rooftop for dinner only! yoga on the rooftop starts at 7 AM, for the duration of an hour, the Pilates starts at 6 PM, for the same amount of time, still on the rooftop. I Other fitness classes are all 1 hour long and offered by the lovely resort È-Team staff; Sound healing at 9am and another Yoga class at 10am and another Yoga on surfboards un the pool at 11am, in-pool cycling at 4pm. The Pickleball instructor is with FITBODIES, teaching at 8am and again at 5pm… There are very large infinity pools on the ground floor, with full access by everyone, many activities are performed by the 🙏♥️E-Team throughout the day at the poolside, creative basket weaving, or bracelet making, Dreamcatcher making, etc. So let’s talk about going to the beach. There are two vans that can fit up to 20 people in each van, these vans come and go between the resort and the beachside property owned by the hotel. Sometimes there are long lineups to get into a van to the beach, but everything is extremely well organized, and moves very quickly, once you arrive, there is free food and drinks available to order and the waiters are moving fast on their feet to help you ! 🙏😍👏🏝️🎉🥥☀️🧘🏽♀️🙏
The resort is quite small and aesthetically beautiful. The ambiance and zen environment give a relaxed vibe. The room had a view of the lagoon. The entertainment team truly involves the guests in numerous activities throughout the day. Cesar has an energetic aqua cycling, Mexican Chocolate offers Latin dance lessons, Gama taught us how to make Sage, God's Eye, Dream Catcher and to top it all off, he also performed Sound Healing. Fresco Ceviche has the freshest ceviche! Keep in mind, there is no beach on property, however there is a shuttle that runs every 15-20 minutes that will take you there which is a 10 minutes drive.
Hotel 10/10 ! Hightlight of our trip was fresco ceviche , chef Mario and Jesus were amazing, great service. Also Mario from the rooftop was great !
I have been to Mexico close to 10 times and this was easily my favorite resort. The resort is smaller/more vertical than most and not on the beach but these items did not matter to us and we had an excellent time and felt we had plenty to do (or not do) during out 4 night stay. I would stay again dependant on pricing. Rebecca on the entertainment team is a true gem!
Staff are lovely. Amazing entertainment for both nightlife and relaxing events. Bar is good but only offer two types of shots. Food portions are small at restaurants.
We loved our time at the Hyatt Vivid Grand. We opted to upgrade to vantage club and we enjoyed the roof top pool and the quieter vibe. I would recommend the upgrade. This resort was not on the beach but had a quick shuttle ride - 5 minutes to the beach club. The beach club was amazing. Great service, food and drinks. The beach was beautiful. We loved everything about the beach club. Rooms at the hotel had a modern, cool vibe. We had no issues with Air or hot water as others have mentioned - ours worked perfectly. They had a great entertainment team and Andrea and Sofi were especially amazing. The activities were different than at other resorts and it was a very refreshing changed from the usual "Micheal Jackson Show" at AI resorts. They had a DJ every night and a Mystical night including Tarrot Card Reading. They also had a wine and paint night which was so fun. There was lots going on in the day - yoga, bootcamp, ballet barre classes, sound healing, aqua ride, etc. The classes were amazing. The hotel brought in 3 fitness professional for the week to teach. Food at the resort was great. Breakfast each day started at the Vantage Rooftop and Delray was an amazing host. Best breakfast at an all-inclusive that I have had with many options. Our favourite meals were at the Italian restaurant. I would highly recommend this resort. We have no negatives to say. Thank you Hyatt Vivid for the wonderful stay.
Beach club/ ennea Number one Sami & Jesus Best service all week Top 🔝 Secone time here Possibly come another time Best guys here
Great service ! Truly enjoyed the impeccable service from Jesus and Eduardo at SeaFoam bar by the pool. They were very attentive to detail.
Recently stayed at the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort and Jesus the waiter and Eduardo the bar man at the sea foam bar have been absolutely brilliant, second to none service. The stay overall has been absolutely fantastic !
We stayed at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island and absolutely loved our experience. The whole resort has such peaceful, tranquil vibes — exactly what we wanted for our anniversary getaway. It’s the kind of place where you can sit by the pool, read a book in total serenity, and truly disconnect. If you’re looking for loud, party-style all-inclusive energy, this is not that hotel. But if you want calm, comfort, and amazing service, this is the place. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Jesús at the Sea Foam Bar was incredible — so attentive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. He even cleaned our sunglasses for us! Eduardo is a great bartender!! At The Hub snack bar, Reymundo was everything! Friendly, kind, and always going out of his way to make us feel welcome. In Delia, Jonathan was also exceptional and made every visit special. We genuinely loved everything about this hotel. Highly recommend it for anyone wanting a peaceful, beautiful, relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back!
My husband and I stayed here for a week for an early birthday trip for me. Landing in Mexico the weather was not ideal but you can’t predict it when you book so far out. Wha made up for the bad weather was the vantage club.. more so the rooftop portion. Alberto and the guys at the Cobalt bar definitely made my week. We were there every day. Surprisingly they were the only bar that had Tito’s. Oswaldo ( hope I spelled that right) fed me the most amazing tacos all week as well. I wish we were there longer as the last couple days of our trip the weather was nice. I will say the vantage club is worth it. We didn’t get to the beach club but heard good things about it. All in all we would return just need to pick a better time frame.
Jesus at the Seafoam bar was incredibly heplful. He was our server at the poolside bar and he was super friendly and helpful. Great experience!
The service at this resort is impeccable! Eddie was rocking it behind the bar and Jesus and Raymundo were consistently making sure our glasses were always full. Roberto went out of his way to find us a great seat by the pool in the shade on our first day there. These guys had great sense of humors and took good care of us.
I went by myself thinking I’d meet more people but The DJ at midnight sucked and should be changed. Overall I wouldn’t spend $7000 to stay here ever again. Staff were super friendly. Ceviche was good. Food was not good at all except the couple of restaurants were ok nothing special! I wish the hotel had ocean view . I had the lagoon view and it was not as beautiful as the opposite side. If the food was better and the music was good I’d recommend it. Rooftop was beautiful though but it took staff a long time to serve the 2.5/5 food.
The resort was very nice, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Pool servers and restaurant staff were over the top. Rooms modern and spacious. Food was better than average, but the resort did lack food variety and options. Not much activity at night as they had no dedicated area /theatre for shows. Had to take a shuttle to get to beach area but it's very nice once you get there, just not convenient. Vantage club was worth it in my opinion because of the elevated bar, rooftop pool and restaurant. Overall, a solid 8 out of 10.
The hotel staff discriminate against the LGBTQ community and will provide horrible service to this minority group. On numerous occasions and servers we received a horrible experience. The hotel is also half closed, much smaller than pictures and have the most rude staff I ever encountered.
We love Jesus and Edwardo at the at the seafoam. They made our trip perfect!!they made us feel like we were family and just at home.
We put a lot of research into which hotel to book and this one was okay. Upgrading to the vantage club was totally worth since that came with the rooftop pool. The two downstairs pools are close together, crowded, and overrun by birds. While the rooftop pool got crowded quick, the ambiance was relaxing. The restaurants were okay, but not much variety. Room service wasn’t 24/7, which isn’t the biggest deal but was a con for us. The staff were incredible - helpful, kind, and friendly. They seemed genuinely interested in making our experience good. Overall it was a good experience but we will book at sister hotels in the future.
Very nice new Hotel. Not a lot of choices for food, but food is good. You will not get hungry. Beach was very nice- only you have to take shuttle but it's ok. I wish they had coconut at the beach or at the hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. One day we forgot to lock our safety box and everything was still there when we came back, so Kudos to the housekeeping! The mexican restaurant was the best for us. Pool need to be more cleaned especially on the rooftop. I noticed some bugs floating around. But other wise it's a great place to hang out and the view is amazing.
Hyatt Vivid accommodations and activities are wonderful. Our room had spectacular views of the ocean, golf course and lagoon. My husband would take his coffee out on the balcony and enjoy watching the golfers and water views daily. The AC in the room kept the room nice and cool too! You must participate in the following activities: HIIT with Carina – her class was such a great workout; Aquacycling with Caesar one day and the other with Mexican Chocolate – so much energy; Sunrise yoga with Melissa was so zen; Sound mediation with Gama was so relaxing; Sage workshop with Gama was informational and fun; God’s Eye Workshop instructor Gama was so patient with me even though I do not posses artistic abilities – LOL. The entertainment team provided much fun and laughs at the pools – shout out to Orlando, Caesar, Gama, Mexican Chocolate, and Ashley. I was lucky enough to get reservations at each of the 4 restaurants during our stay. Our favorite was Aglio – Italian, Armando was an excellent server; Dalia – Mexican, Jesus was a wonderful attentive server; Mediterano – Mediterranean, Francesco was a great server; and Oishii – Japanese, was OK. The Buffet was provided a nice variety of breakfast and lunch items. Fresco Ceviche was cozy and yummy too – kudos to Jesus and Mario. The ladies at the breakfast and lunch buffet were so friendly and welcoming every day. Server Oswaldo provided service with a smile daily. The Beach Club felt exclusive and sat on a beautiful stretch of powdery white sand and clear blue water. The loungers were so comfortable. A few suggestions: provide soft and fluffy bath towels as they are currently thin and hard; the rain shower has cold water only shouldn’t it be warm?; a clothes line in the shower would be helpful to dry the bathing suits.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and had a great time and meet alot of great people. All staff was wonderful. Resort was clean and comfortable. As a Globalist I got upgraded to a big suite with huge balcony and was offered a free cabana! Big con was the French restaurant (Best One) was closed the whole time.
Clean. Great service. The beach is a 10 minute bus ride but very beautiful! The Japanese restaurant was the yummiest. The nightlife was a little chill but honestly I appreciated that I could be in bed by 11pm and it was quiet.
Spent a week Nov 1st- Nov 8th with my 2 daughters. Had a lovely time. Weather was great! The entertainment top notch! Angel ( Mexican Chocolate was simple fantastic!!! The most entertaining ! His spin class was so much fun! Full of energy and enthusiasm! Loved it !
My experience was great. The experience was made even better when I visited the Nectar bar upstairs. The service was great and the staff was the most friendly and memorable on my trip.
Adult only lots of parties so if you are party animal plz check them out l! Thank you Angel, Sophie , Gama! We were having good time
Very nice to stay
Clean room. The room service and the staff were collectively nice. The restaurant options were minimal. The buffet closed early all 3 nights which limited my experience when it came to the food. That was very upsetting. I also didn’t appreciate that I wasn’t told every night they would spray bug spray on the outside areas of the resort and it hovered over the balconies. It looked like smoke or fire and when I asked the staff, I got the runaround multiple times. Until finally I decided to go to the front desk and ask politely. The mosquitoes at night are definitely an issue. They didn’t advise guests to walk inside while spraying and I didn’t appreciate that. I was very concerned with the air quality I was breathing in. The beach club was nice but again the restaurant was closed and the staff made it difficult to accommodate any type of vegetarian meal.
The room was a very clean, such a beautiful view. The bartenders were amazing. I love the beach club that was included. I thought that was pretty cool. Didn’t have anything bad to say I wish it would’ve been more restaurant options because they do fill up fast.
Excellent place
Very friendly and hospitable staffs. Room has a little smell but was resolved. Everything else was clean and nice
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun was absolutely unforgettable! The resort offers a perfect mix of relaxation and fun, with a daily lineup of activities that kept us entertained from morning to night. From poker nights to pool and beach volleyball, aquaerobics, and lot more - there was never a dull moment. A huge shoutout to Orlando and Caesar, who led most of these activities with such enthusiasm and energy. They made every game feel like a party and created a welcoming, fun environment for all guests to join in. Whether we were playing volleyball or just chatting poolside, they made us feel like VIPs. The food was also outstanding, with plenty of variety and flavor - but Oshii, the Japanese restaurant, was by far my favorite with a beautiful rooftop view, My wife's favorite was Le Lys, the French restaurant. The flavors, presentation, and atmosphere were top-notch. Overall, this resort checks every box for an amazing vacation - fun activities, incredible staff, and delicious dining. We can't wait to come back!
It’s beautiful resort, looks clean and well maintained! Not much activity but if you looking for a relaxation this is definitely a place for you
Nice hotel however, the dining options are very limited. I felt like I couldn’t find anything to eat most of the trip.
