Taormina Town - Guesthouse Sicily

This is a lovely guesthouse in the heart of Taormina. You can easily walk to anywhere in Taormina from here. The host was very friendly and helpful. I felt safe as a solo traveller. The room was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. It is a shame to see negative reviews about the luggage storage, stairs and parking. This is a small historic town, not downtown New York, of course there is no lift. There is limited parking in Taormina, this is not the fault of the guesthouse. The luggage storage was very useful and very secure. I can’t understand complaints about the hosts kindly storing luggage free of charge.

Posizione centrale ma tranquilla, fuori dal caos delle vie principali. La camera è curata, appena ristrutturata e dotata di un grazioso balconcino. Il self check-in è semplice e veloce, e ho trovato molto piacevole il dettaglio degli snack gratuiti. Struttura consigliata.

Unico neo all'arrivo la pulizia del bagno, dove ho trovato alcuni capelli per terra (probabilmente sfuggiti al controllo dopo il cambio ospiti). Segnalo inoltre un po' di rumore proveniente dalla strada durante la notte, fattore comunque indipendente dalla gestione della struttura

Il b e b più bello dove sono stata ( e ne ho visti). Bello esteticamente, pulito, dotato di tutti i confort, a pochi metri da porta Messina. A 20 metri c'è un parcheggio privato coperto con personale gentilissimo. Ritornerò sicuramente il prossimo anno.

El alojamiento está muy céntrico limpio y moderno, tiene una cocina común que compartes y viene muy bien, el personal nos ayudó mucho, sobre todo una chica que trabajaba allí y ya no está, que hablaba español, ya que tuvimos muchos problemas para llegar.

El aparcamiento en esta ciudad es un problema, muy complicado llegar hasta el alojamiento, fue una pesadilla. El alojamiento más que un hotel es bed and breakfast, no hay recepción y si vas con muchas maletas son todo escaleras no hay ascensor.

Πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο, προσεγμένο, άνετο, καθαρό,με όλες τις ανέσεις, κατευθείαν στο κέντρο της πόλης αλλα σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία. Ευγενικός κ φιλόξενος ιδιοκτήτης. Περιλαμβάνει κουζίνα με σνακ κ καφέ. Ιδανική τοποθεσία για να εξερευνήσεις την ταορμινα.

Camera curata nei minimi dettagli. Pulizia impeccabile. Host molto gentile e disponibile per averci fornito le indicazioni per raggiungere in auto la struttura. Bene la colazione. Posizione ottima per visitare il centro storico.

Un po’ scomodo il parcheggio, ma comunque fattibile valutando la conformazione del territorio di Taormina.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Taormina Town - Guesthouse Sicily and had a good experience. Our room was clean and had good air conditioning which was welcome in the July heat. The hotel is located on a small side street and has a central location very close to the Villa Comunale. We were able to walk all over town. Our communications was handled using the WhatsApp and we were given directions for checking in to the property which were helpful. We never met anyone in person, so I can't comment on the staff. .

There is no elevator, so you will have to carry your bags up the stairs. We were in room 2, and we carried our bags up two flights of stairs. If people have mobility issues, carrying their bags up the stairs may be a problem. Due to a late flight out of Catania we asked about storing our bags. We were told we could leave them in the area outside the front door of the property in an alcove like area. While we did not feel comfortable doing that, we really had no choice, so we left them. A more secure storage location would have been nice.

La struttura è centralissima, perfetta per visitare Taormina a piedi. Alberto ci ha accolti con grande gentilezza e ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili per il nostro soggiorno, dandoci anche ottimi consigli su dove cenare. La struttura è pulitissima, accogliente e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Se dovessi tornare a Taormina, so già dove alloggiare. Grazie di cuore per la splendida ospitalità! 😊

Lovely large room . Unexpected as it was In the town centre . The shared facilities also looked great even though we didn’t use them .

Stairs were a bit awkward but not a problem for us. May create a challenge for people will mobility issues .

Ily es encantadora, fue al parking a esperarnos para recibirnos. El hotel es comodisimo, completamente nuevo y las imágenes son la realidad. Todo nuevo, limpio y cómodo.

Mooie ruime kamer in een rustige straat maar midden in het centrum. Ook een leuke keuken met koelkast waar elke dag yoghurt voor je klaarligt en een fles water. Verder is er koffie, thee, granen, confituur en koeken/vakjes die je mag pakken voor ontbijt.

Instalaciones divinas, súper cómodas. La atención y dedicación de Illayma fueron óptimas, especialmente sus recomendaciones de paseos y asesoramiento para movernos por la zona. El alojamiento se destaca también por los espacios comunes (cocina súper equipada y comedor / estar) y por la provisión permanente de snacks e infusiones. De lujo. Vamos a volver 😊

L'acces à la mer est compliqué, uniquement par bus et ou par telecabine, as pratique et tj bcp de monde

Amamos a acomodação, super charmosa e banheiro mega espaçoso! Self check in simples e flexível, snacks, água gelada e itens de café da manhã disponíveis. A localização é perfeita, central mas em um local silencioso. Estacionamos o carro na Autorimessa California, que fica a poucos passos.

Nosso quarto no primeiro andar ficava junto a cozinha, então eventualmente podia ter algum cheiro. Mas isso não atrapalhou a estadia, recomendo.

No tiene ni un punto flojo

modern ausgestattet, schönes Zimmer und Bad, nette, gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, netter Empfang, sehr gute Absprache zum Check-In. Ganz ideal gelegen zur Altstadt, wenige Schritte zu Restaurants, Bars, Bummelmeile.

Die Lage, Adresse des Hauses, in einer, schon eher schmuddeligen Hintergasse. Fenster (2. Etage) ebenfalls in eine kleine Gasse, dadurch wenig Licht. Sicher typisch für eine Stadt wie Taormina, wenn man direkt in der Altstadt sein möchte, aber bei mehrtägigem Urlaubsaufenthalt schon ein kleines bisschen bedrückend.

Wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie. Pokój był bardzo czysty i komfortowy, lokalizacja idealna blisko centrum, ale jednocześnie cicho. Gospodarze byli niezwykle mili i pomocni, a cały pobyt przebiegł bez żadnych problemów.

Nie mamy żadnych zastrzeżeń. Wszystko było doskonale zorganizowane i spełniło nasze oczekiwania.

Estaba en una localización perfecta, literalmente en el centro. Pero en una calle tranquila, nada ruidoso. Todo muy limpio y cómodo. Cama muy amplia, muchas almohadas por si necesitabas más. Un baño y ducha grande con todo lo necesario. Y por supuesto Ilayma, nuestra manager que nos enseñó la habitación. Simpatiquísima y que nos dió recomendaciones. Volveremos!

I loved everything about this place. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and featured a beautiful modern design. Even though it is located right in the heart of the town, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Having access to a shared kitchen space was also very convenient. It was well-equipped with kitchen utensils, and well-stocked for self-help breakfast. I was also grateful that they provided an iron (and an ironing board), which I needed to use during my stay. The owner was so kind and helpful. Communication was smooth, and I felt genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. Unfortunately, due to a change of plans, I had to shorten my stay to just one night instead of the planned two nights. However, if I ever visit Taormina again, I will definitely choose to stay here. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

The guesthouse not far from main shopping area also the guesthouse was very clean

We loved our stay in Taormina. We were greeted personally on arrival and any enquiries were dealt with immediately. We loved the wee balcony and having shared kitchen and snacks was a real bonus.

There was a lot of blue light from the entrance key pad and bathroom entrance door way which made night sleeping difficult without eye masks.

The property was fully functional, easily accessible and in a location slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the main area. The common kitchen area, fully equipped, worked perfectly with more than enough extras to use.

Localização, atendimento e instalações fantásticas. Acesso a vários espaços, equipamentos e comida, como se fosse nossa casa. Até nossa roupa lavram por um custo bacana, o que ajuda muito durante uma viagem. Llayma foi super atenciosa do inicio ao fim. Recomendo demais.

La struttura è bella ordinata pulita accogliente, si trova in una posizione strategica a 100 metri da un garage privato e a 5 minuti dal meraviglioso anfiteatro. La signora Ilayma sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa. Questa struttura ti fa sentire in vacanza e coccolata dal primo secondo.

Sve je savršeno. Lokacija je predobra, soba je prostrana, u zajedničkom kuhinji i trpezariji imate ponešto da pregrizete ujutru i kafu. Svaki dan možete staviti znak na vrata sobe da vam se pospremi soba ukoliko to želite. Osoblje je tu za bukvalno sva pitanja ili bilo šta što vam treba.

The apartment was well located for sight seeing, large and comfortable. The shared kitchen facilities were a very clever idea, modern and generous with appliances and small items to eat for breakfast.

L'emplacement est idéal, au coeur du village, sur le bord de la corniche avec un parking très pratique à 100m (25euros la journée) La chambre est propre et bien décorée. La salle d'eau est agréable. La chambre est calme. Il y a un coin commun avec cuisine et tout ce qu'il faut. L'hôte est très agréable et réactif

Soggiorno molto positivo presso la guest house a Taormina. La camera era davvero ottima e il check-in è stato rapido e ben organizzato, senza attese. La struttura si trova in posizione centralissima, comodissima per visitare il paese a piedi e godersi le principali attrazioni. La colazione è nella norma, semplice ma sufficiente per iniziare la giornata. Nota di merito per il personale, sempre professionale, cordiale e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Nel complesso un’esperienza piacevole, con un buon equilibrio tra posizione, comfort e accoglienza.

Great location within walkable distance to all the main sites in Taormina. Parking available for a fee at a very close garage with advanced request. Excellent customer service with constant communication before and during our stay.

Centrally located but quiet. Comfortable bed, good quality linens. Shared kitchen and mini breakfast nibbles a huge bonus (just added fresh croissants from shop round corner)! Large bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Modern designer decorating scheme (we were in the yellow room!) Great value for money. Would hugely recommend (one of our best stays in 22 days travelling in Italy- and we’re not scrimping!!!)

La posizione è perfetta per girare tutto il centro di Taormina. Vicinissima anche al teatro antico. La responsabile Ilayma è stata presente, anche se non fisicamente, disponibile e gentilissima nel darci tutti i consigli di cui avevamo bisogno. Cucina e snack a completa disposizione.

L’hôtel était vraiment parfait 😊 L’emplacement est très central, idéal pour tout faire à pied. Les parties communes sont très agréables, avec des snacks et des boissons mis gratuitement à disposition, une attention vraiment appréciable. La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable, et la personne qui nous a accueillis a été adorable !

Tranquil, all the comforts, modern, very convenient location. The host communicated very well and quickly.

The only slight downside was hearing the metal front door opening and closing. We got used to it but it was the only slight issue. Only 5 rooms there. We are in the front room 4. Above the front door. Would stay again though.
