Perfect 10/10 – A Wonderful Stay! I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and I am very happy with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The location is excellent and very convenient, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. I would honestly give this hotel a perfect 10/10. The service, staff, atmosphere, and location all deserve the highest praise. A special thank you to the entire team and management for making my stay so pleasant. I will be very happy to stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. ここのホテルには2回泊まりましたが、どちらも最高の体験でした。ぜったいまた来ます。

フロントスタッフの対応が素晴らしかったです。まるで日本のように感じるほど丁寧な接客で、日本語が上手でした。充電コードが壊れた際に貸していただきとても助かりました。また、部屋の机が壊れた時も迅速に対応してくださいました。スーパーで買ったお土産が多すぎて、急遽段ボールに詰めて持ち帰ることにした際も、力になってくれました。重いスーツケースも運んでくれたりと、本当にお世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

The service of the staff was exceptional!!!

We were so happy we chose this hotel for our 3 night stay. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and friendly. Our room was large and spacious and clean. Free laundry each day was a service that we appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay again.

I’m especially grateful for the warm and enthusiastic service from the staff, especially Thu Ngân. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty of great places to visit and delicious restaurants nearby. The room was clean and well maintained. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Right near the walking street. Lots of bars and restaurants and Tuk Tuks to take you anywhere It is priced for what you get. It's clean and they do free laundry for you. Staff, as always in Vietnam, very friendly and helpful.

The staff were incredible and were so helpful. Our favourite reception from the entire country. Also, the location was absolutely perfect - across the road from a huge range of shops and restaurants. The hotel is right next to Central Market which is the best one to shop and eat at. 10/10 recommend.

Close to the Walking Street and the bus station. Lots of places to eat and drink. Walking distance to most of the main tourist areas of HCMC. Staff were helpful and kind. And they do your laundry once a day for free, which is a big plus. For the price it was OK for the convenience of being close to everything. And it was clean.

Very friendly staff, great location and free laundry were all a bonus.

The room was very dingy, dirty, loud and the bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom had mould and drain flies and the main room had damp, smelled old and the AC was super loud. Could hear everything from the lobby as I was on the ground floor and from the alley outside the window too. I'm sure the rest of the rooms are nice but the ground floor windowless room should not be booked/ sold.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our roof and we had a amazing city view. Very close to center can walk to alot of places but not quiet at night. Highly recommend.

Great location, loved the free laundry service and the tea and coffee in the lobby. Very friendly staff even at 2am when I checked in!

We loved the service of the staff: they were warm and attentive to our needs 24/7. They provide things like iron/steamer when requested. The complimentary drinks and laundry were highly appreciated. We noticed they were fluent in Japanese as well. We booked a family suite for 5 adults. The room was spacious and bright with natural light, and it exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and ambience.

異国で日本語が通じる安心感！ 前回一度利用させてもらい、ホーチミンに来る時は絶対にまたここのホテルにくると決めていました。 前回の口コミでお部屋にミニバーを入れて欲しいと書いたら実際にお水やコーラなど無料のドリンクサービスが増えていて感動しました！お部屋によってはビールのサービスもあるようです。 また今回は朝食をつけましたが、とっても可愛いインルームブレックファストで、現地で有名なブンチャーをいただきました。指定時間にスタッフの方がお部屋まで運んでくださるので到着した翌朝はゆっくりできました。 スタッフの方は以前と同様に親切で、観光から帰ってきて暑い〜と思っていたらすかさずロビーのエアコンの温度を下げてくださったり気遣いが素晴らしいです。 ホーチミンに来られる方にはとってもおすすめのホテルだと思います！

Central location, friendly and helpful staff, free coffee and water in lobby. Great restaurants nearby.

Rooms located on direction of the street are really noisy. Couldn’t sleep without earplugs. Floor in room was quite dirty, no free breakfast. Bad value for money. Don’t understand the high rating of this hotel.

L’accueil du personnel, l’emplacement, le linge propre, les boissons à dispo dans le lobby et dans le mini bar. La douche était bien, nous pouvions poser nos produits.

L’ascenseur qui ne va pas jusqu’au 6, les fenêtres sont floutées, les volets ne cachaient pas toute la lumière, les poubelles un peu petites mais nous chipotons car la chambre et le service étaient incroyables.

Très bon séjour au Lantern Hôtel, les services gratuit proposé sont un gros plus ! (Lessive gratuite, eau et coca frais gratuit, wifi portable pour la journée,…) Le personnel était très aimable et à l’écoute, la chambre était propre.

Nous séjournions dans la chambre au 2eme étage la fenêtre donnait sur une ruelle qui ne laissait pas entrer de lumière ceux qui rendait la chambre un peu sombre durant la journée.

Le personnel est très attentionné L'hôtel est proche de tout, on peut faire tout à pied Nous avons été surclassé, lit très confortable, la chambre est faite tous les jours et petit bonus. La Landry est gratuite.

Polite staff, respectful, helpful Laundry service was a great addition - clean clothes retuned same day Location is really good and wasn’t too loud at night (sometimes neighbours would be retching and vomiting at night which wasn’t the best though but the hotel can’t control that).

The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable so much so that it hurt my ribs and hips if sleeping on my front or sides. Of course, mattresses are subjective, and this seems to be a Vietnamese trait, but I am in another hotel now that is really soft yet firm and is like sleeping on a feather! For the price, breakfast should be included. It is a small, outdated hotel – if that – with furniture that was stained / marked, and the worst part was also the drains in the shower and bathroom which were absolutely revolting whereby every night I had a rotten smell permeating my room. The Air Conditioner also was so super loud that I couldn’t sleep at night. Again, lovely staff and really polite!! But, you can get much better quality and a good night’s sleep for less money elsewhere, even in District 1

It is a very basic hotel, more like a guesthouse but without a kitchen. If you get a room with a window it’s extremely loud. Not the staff’s fault of course, but the street noise is the loudest I’ve ever heard in a hotel, and you can hear every door close, creak, etc from other guests. I was surprised because based on all the reviews, I didn’t expect it to be so loud or quite so barebones.

The laundry service is much appreciated. We had a comfortable stay, the staff were very polite and helpful.

Stay at Lantern hotel was pleasant.Staff was helpful. Complimentary laundry service with same day return was add on. Didn't had any late night noise issue even though location is at walkable distance to beer street.

The staff are very helpful and nice.

Very old and not clean. I didn’t get a hot shower because of arrived at midnight? TV wasn’t working right. They tried to fix it but they couldn’t.

The staff went above and beyond and we really appreciated the free laundry service and the welcome drinks. The room was also really quiet given the location!

The beds were quite hard.

Hôtel bien situé. Bonne literie. Chambre propre. Nous avions une chambre au RDC sans fenêtre mais au calme de la rue.

La chambre familiale était très grandes et très propre. La literie est ferme. L’emplacement était également très pratique avec un excellent restaurant de sushis à proximité et un très bon café pour prendre le petit déjeuner le matin

L'hotel è in una zona centrale perfetta, un pochino datato, ma nulla da eccepire. Stanza abbastanza spaziosa, bagno un po' piccino, ma con doccia molto comoda. La differenza assoluta, e il voto 10, la fanno le ragazze della reception: sono di una gentilezza e disponibilità disarmanti, molto apprezzate!

The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Loved the free mini bar. No alcohol but that was fine. Water and coke was great. The free laundry service was fabulous. I have been travelling two weeks and now fully stocked up with clean clothes again. Location is spot on. Hotel is clean.

Beds can be uncomfortable and if you don’t like the noise and the madness from Bui Vien street this may not be for you. For us it was easy access to fun and we didn’t mind the noise.

Jak na wietnamskie warunki był to dobry hotel. Nie jest to luksusowy obiekt – meble są już trochę stare i widać na nich upływ czasu – ale mimo to pokój jest czysty i miło się w nim przebywa. Na duży plus zasługuje bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Fajnym udogodnieniem jest też możliwość zrobienia prania za darmo. W holu na dole przez cały czas dostępna jest darmowa herbata, kawa i woda, co jest bardzo przyjemnym dodatkiem.

Jeśli chodzi o minusy – miałam pokój na szóstym piętrze i było słychać dość wyraźny hałas, prawdopodobnie z klimatyzacji lub innego urządzenia. Dla mnie materac był też trochę za twardy, ale to oczywiście bardzo subiektywna kwestia.

We were in the ground floor room which could be a little loud at times, I recommend bringing earplugs in case!

Es gibt leider kein Raum im Hotel wo man Frühstück oder eine andere Mahlzeit bekommen kann. Nur frühstück auf dem Zimmer und leider nur einen sehr kleinen Tisch dafür, daher haben wir immer in einem anderen Restaurant an der Straße gefrühstückt.

ランドリーサービスで衣類が戻ってきたさい、ランドリーで洗った衣類を入れていた袋に食べ物のべっとりと油カスみたいなものくっついていたのがかなり不快でした

The reception was really good. The room was big enough. The minibar was complementary. Shower worked well.

The mattress was a bit sturdy for Western standards. Breakfast option only when booked a day in advance.

Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra, kilka kroków od imprezowej ulicy, knajpek i odległość przyjemnego spaceru od głównych atrakcji Ho Chi Minh. Duży plus i świetny pomysł to darmowe pranie! Obsługa bardzo miła i gościnna.

W pokojach skierowanych oknem na główną ulicę od rana gwar miasta może nie wszystkim odpowiadać, dla nas nie było to problemem a nawet traktowaliśmy to jako swojego rodzaju atrakcje.

Very nice hotel. The room was large and comfortable. The free laundry was a plus. Staff was extremely kind. One of them figured out it was my daughter’s birthday from her passport and gave her a little note as a gift. That was very thoughtful!
