El estilo y las medidas de seguridad para impedir el acceso a personas no alojadas. También la atención de la recepcionista que nos hizo el check in.

El servicio. En cuatro noches, excepto el día de entrada no se limpió la habitación ningún día, teniendo que llamar a recepción a las seis de la tarde para solicitarlo. En una ocasión se nos dijo que había clientes preferentes, que nuestra tarifa era más económica. Falso. Era la tarifa de booking, igual a la de su web o incluso algo superior. Tampoco estaba suficientemente limpio. Solo vimos a dos camareras de pisos y encontramos manchas en las paredes, humedades en el suelo y restos de suciedad en la alfombra y junto a la ventana. Los portazos continuados e inexplicables en el office de las camareras de pisos no te dejan descansar en absoluto

Les chambres sont très sympa, avec une belle décoration et un bon équipement. Le personnel est serviable et agréable.

L’emplacement n’est pas idéal, il est situé dans un quartier sensible avec une fréquentation moyenne. Il y a un vigile la nuit et l’accès à l’hôtel se fait grâce à la carte uniquement, le petit déjeuner est très petit et ne donne pas envie malheureusement, la literie est un peu à revoir car le lit était en mauvaise qualité.

De kamer was erg netjes en comfortabel. De bedden waren fijn. Supernetjes en schoon.

Helaas had de kamer geen balkon; het balkon was een hal in de soort ‘luchtplaats’. De buurt is erg onprettig, alleen maar mannen en daklozen ‘s avonds op straat. Als 2 jonge meiden wil je daar absoluut niet rondlopen. Verder vinden we weinig comfort; het hotel is totaal niet sfeervol. Het ontbijt is echt ontzettend matig, niet vers fruit, veel te weinig keus.

Room was tidy clean and comfortable.

Disappointed that the coffee and teas and water were not restocked for our second night. The hotel itself self is very good, don’t feel it’s a 4 star hotel. Area hotel is in, is NOT nice and would not want to venture out after dark. Lots of homeless sitting around outside and across from hotel plus large groups of what looked like immigrant men hanging around doing nothing other than being intimidating. Location is Not suitable for single females.

Das Viertel in dem die Unterkunft liegt, ist eher gewöhnungsbedürftigt, sehr viele arme Leute dort, die in aufgestellten Mülltonnen der Lokale/Geschäfte nach Essen suchen

La décoration et l’ambiance étaient sympa. Accessible en transport facilement. Personnel agréable dans l’ensemble.

Problème d’insonorisation dans l’hôtel. Piscine froide et présence d’algue (et odeur). Pas le quartier le plus sympa de Lisbonne (assez sale et une place qui craint). La salle des petits déjeuners est assez petite donc il faut réserver chaque jour pour le lendemain matin (pas trop de liberté) et il ouvre à 8h (un peu tard quand on a un vol ou un train)

La gentillesse de Catherine à l'accueil, la grandeur de la chambre et les déco originales. Bon petit déjeuner . Facilité pour se déplacer, le métro à 4mn, et les rues animées, avec plein de restaurants.

L'environnement de l'hôtel on a l'impression d'être surveiller par tous ces groupes d'hommes qui vous regardent, la traversée de la place avec des dealers, ...

Ambijent, bazen i lokacija.

Neljubaznost mlade gospođe na doručku i recepcije. Kao netko ko putuje stalno i često može to puno bolje. Birali smo ovaj smještaj kao dio medenog mjeseca i očekivali smo barem sekund više pažnje. Recepciju sam molila sat vremena i silazila tri puta po peglu za veš, cura koja je radila na doručku bolje da je ostala kući nego širila vibe nadrndane žene. Starija gospođa na doručku čista 10-ka, topla, mila ljubazna, vrijedna. Jedina koju bi pohvalila u lancu osoblja.

We were welcomed very warmly at Upon Angels and had a lovely stay. The décor is very cool and the room was overall very comfortable. The hotel is also very well located in terms of public transport (Intendente metro station is a 3-minute walk away) and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to use the swimming pool but hopefully we will next time! We would definitely recommend!

The staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel was immaculately clean and we had fresh towels every day. The decor was superb.

The room could have benefitted from more storage options (for example, a set of drawers, shelves in the bathroom, coat hooks by the door for coats/jackets)

Por ser no piso térreo e no átrio da piscina, ouvia-se muito barulho. A música e as pessoas a conversar alto acabaram por incomodar um pouco, mas acredito que os quartos interiores e os superiores não tenham esse problema!

La posizione può essere non il massimo per una donna sola o un gruppo di donne durante il rientro della sera, perché quartiere un po’ più degradato ma nessuno ci hai mai dato fastidio. Semplicemente portare un po’ più di attenzione.

L'emplacement à côté du métro est très pratique, la décoration est atypique, le lit est confortable et la chambre spacieuse L'accès à la piscine jusqu'à 22h permet de vous rafraîchir après une journée de visite

It was a little “sexual” around the pool which I should have read more into. I booked on booking.com and when I mentioned the seedy behaviour around the pool which, she said “have you read their website” I hadn’t , it’s very sexualised in its content which i guess is on me. It was a last minute booking and I like the look of it but whilst I was relaxing and reading around the pool, the “adult behaviours” made me feel like I should have been paying for a show 😅 One woman was having a photoshoot whilst literally opening her ass cheeks. Not my vibe but the hotel was stunning.

Nos gustó todo! Tanto la habitación como el personal, que en todo momento fue súper atento. La pequeña piscina es muy bonita.

Struttura dal design particolare e moderno, l’ho adorato! Stanza comoda, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario per un piacevole soggiorno. Posizione vicina alla metro e ottima per raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse. Staff di ragazzi molto gentili e disponibili. Grazie!

Chambre spacieuse, les produits Rituals dans la salle de bain. Personnel agréable et à l écoute. Bonne insonorisation et climatisation.

Penser à couvrir la piscine surtout lors des épisodes de canicule afin de pouvoir en profiter.

Huone oli persoonallinen ja oikein mukava. Hyvä sänky. Palvelu oli päällisin puolin hyvää, vähän olisi toivonut hymyä reilummin. Pihalla sijaitseva poreallas oli todella miellyttävä.

Aamiaishuoneen tarjoilija oli tympeä, enemmän olisi kaivannut iloa ja oikealaista asennetta. Muuten aamiainen ihan hyvää keskitasoa.

I enjoyed the location and the staff at the reception were very helpful and welcoming.

The rooms were very dark, the air conditioning didn’t work very well and there was no place to get ready or do make-up, the make up had to be set in the sink. The pool also didn’t seem the cleanest, however, I understand the type of tiles could be difficult to keep clean. We also had two different disappointing experiences with a member of staff in the bar and one of the house keepers. When we walked into the bar to ask for ice for the room the bartender walked in for the back and rolled her eyes as soon as she seen us which made us feel very uncomfortable and like we were inconveniencing them. The second interaction was when housekeeping knocked our door and we asked could she wait five minutes as we were leaving now and the look and reaction my partner got from the housekeeper was disgusting. No person who is paying to stay at a hotel should receive that from any member of staff, they need to work on their hospitality skills.

Die Zimmer waren wirklich super schön und sehr kreativ eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der große Whirlpool echt angenehm!

Die Umgebung ist leider durch viele Obdachlose geprägt, die in Männer-Scharen auf den Straßen stehen. Nicht weit ist jedoch eine Metrostation. Zu wenig Ablagefläche im Badezimmer.

Everything, the hotel itself is stunning and the vibe is unmatched. Never been to a hotel so original in scale of design and concept - the pool / jacuzzi was great too and the terrace was a very relaxing place to be in. People were grand and staff were supportive when needed - even tho I didn't need much from them cause everything was utterly perfect - but with any question or small request they were able and happy to help.

Les équipements de la petite cuisine étaient bien, le frigo à disposition. Le petit bain à bulles également. La proximité avec le métro, le calme de l’hôtel.

Le confort du lit n’était pas au rdv, les lumières dans la chambre sont mal programmées et la programmation des boutons est infernal. Il fait sombre et c’est un vrai sujet quand on veut se préparer. Aucun rangement dans la salle de bain: obligés de poser notre trousse de toilette sur la cuisine et donc elle en devient inutilisable..! Autre point un peu dommageable le fait que les produits à main se disent être de la marque Rituals: dans notre chambre le produit à l’intérieur n’en était pas du tout un…

Le quartier n est pas safe la nuit . L hôtel prend un scan complet de votre passeport ce qui est interdit . J ai exige des explications quid rgpd et incapable de me répondre . Le petit déjeuner est vraiment décevant et la serveuse aussi agréable qu’une porte de prison. La piscine est sale et trop chimique .

L’emplacement est top et la taille des chambres parfaite. L’hôtel est parfaitement insonorisé. Le quartier est top. Proche du métro et de la place du commerce. Le quartier n’est pas du tout dangereux.

safe and secure, clean and quiet

The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning very welcome. The décor was very stylish and the room was stocked with a selection of toiletries and hot beverages. There was a fridge too.

Some sections of the corridors were dimly lit making it difficult to see our room door lock pad. The bathroom could do with some extra worktops for putting your own toiletries or make-up etc. The mirrors in the bedroom were is the wrong place for lighting and made it difficult to see yourself when styling hair or trying to put on make-up. There were no instructions for operating the jacuzzi. The breakfast was a little expensive for the limited choice of food items. Some labels on foods and drinks would be helpful for managing food allergies.

We were more conscious of our surroundings when out and about than other places we have stayed. Light switches were a nightmare to try and work. Rooms rather dark and had an odour to them.

The streets surrounding the hotel seemed a bit unsafe at night, with a lot of people offering drugs on the street. Staff were unable to source more drinking water in the evening time and it was very hot during our stay.

Heel leuk knus hotel! Mooie kamer, heerlijk bed en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt was prima, vriendelijk personeel.

Jammer dat de Rituals producten aangelengd zijn met water. Ontbijt mag wat uitgebreider maar dat is wat krap. Ligging was prima, echter waren wij er met 40 graden en dan was het toch een redelijke wandeling naar bezienswaardigheden.

Beautiful quirky room, best aircon, staff was outstanding. Immaculately clean. Apples and sweets at reception! Disco in the lift. The pool looked great. Comfortable bed.

There were a ton of lights but the switches were confusing. It was not possible to have bedside lights on without also having overhead lights on and partner accidentally turned light off in the shower when he was trying to turn one light off which was horrible as I was in the shower in the pitch black!

Wyposażenie pokoju było zadowalające. Zaskoczeniem była skrzętnie ukryta płyta indukcyjna. Stylistyka pokoi przyciąga wzrok. Wygłuszenie pokoju jest na wysokim poziomie.

Widok z okna nie był zbyt dobry. Ściana z oknami i balkonami drugiego budynku była tuż za jednokierunkowa uliczką.

Forgot my cowboy hat in the room and the staff assisted in retrieving it and handing over to my friend the following week!! This was very appreciated and helpful. Loved the room interior design too!

Bad bisschen klein!

Upon Angles is an amazing hotel. The rooms are decorated very artistic, bright and comfortable. The receptionists were always helpful, and the outdoor jacuzzi/pool was epic, such a nice way to spend the afternoon after lots of travelling and relaxing before heading out for the evening.

Air con in the room was a bit weak tea. We did ask if they could reduce the temperature, and we appreciate we went during a heatwave, but it was like hot dog breath.

Location is very good, very close to metro with loads of amazing Asian restaurants and food shops nearby. Quirky rooms. Really comfy bed and fairly quiet. Films projected in the courtyard at night. Friendly staff.

Quite small dining area/ bar. Street a bit scruffy and lots of guys hanging around outside, fine for me but as a single woman I would feel uncomfortable. I would say it was more like a 3 star hotel.

Amazing place

We had amszing time here! People at the reception were super helpful and kind. The breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. Room was stylish and clean, ac helps on hot days like we had. Room was also very quiet. Location was exceptional, right next to a metro station.

Broken/damaged materials in the room e.g. the tap falling off and the filled unpainted screw holes where some hooks used to be. The garden/pool area isn't as nice you might have hoped, so not worth it if that's why you're booking...

We loved the vibe of the hotel and especially the bathroom, which was super stylish!

We didn’t have a view out the window and it was in an ok location but around 20min walk to centre.
