The bed and pillow was really really comfortable

The location is a bit far from restaurantes and dive shops, you depend entirely on a scooter or taxi drives

Breakfast was very basic. But considering the price it would be crazy to expect more. The grounds are kept so well. The pool is nice and you are looking out to sea. The beds were firm which I really like. They have mopeds on site too. They organised the taxi back to the ferry too. They also gave us snorkles and didnt charge.

Hard to fault it for what we paid.

Tout ! La chambre est grande, confortable et exotique. La salle d’eau est à cheval sur l’extérieur et prendre sa douche dehors, c’est tellement agréable. La déco est de bon ton. Le jardin est magnifique et entretenu, la piscine est en cascade, belle est propre.Le personnel est au top, à l’écoute, prévenant. On nous a dépatouillé de réservation de billet de bateau que nous croyions perdue. Nous n’avons pas été emballés par Nusa Penida heureusement que nous étions à la villa Villah, ça nous a mis le baume au cœur. On a adoré cet hôtel.

Accueil très chaleureux, la famille est au petit soin pour vous. Les villas sont très spacieuses et offrent toutes une vue sur la piscine et une - petite - vue mer. La piscine est très agréable, il y'a de la place pour tout le monde. Emplacement idéal - mais un scooter ou un chauffeur est requis.

Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus garni.

A TRULY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Arrived and welcomed with friendly smiles and a juice, the location is set back away from the main roads and boasts fantastic ocean views in amongst the jungle terrain outside of the perimeter. The pool is excellent & the grounds were very well kept. Rooms were excellent! Bed was very comfortable. Working aircon/wifi & fridge provided, with an open roofed washroom, daily bedding adjustments/changes and general clean, overall we were very impressed. Service was very professional and on point. They never failed to clean well and provide us with fresh water and toiletries. Breakfast offers a great selection of dishes cooked to order each morning and was always really good - i cant find faults they really couldnt do more for us if they tried. Location was excellent, as aforementioned its set back from the main road along the beach front and uphill (5mins by scooter). We managed to reach just about all the viewpoints and beaches on the island in about 45mins by scooter (road conditions permitted we found this to be a really well placed location). Both my partner and i agreed we wouldnt hesitiate to stay here again should we end up in Nusa Penida again. Wayan and the team are probably some of the best hosts we have had to fortune of meeting and we are grateful for thier efforts and time.

Dit verblijf was echt fantastisch. Lekker rustig, personeel erg vriendelijk.

Het ontbijt was heerlijk en werd vers bereid, het personeel was super lief en het voelde echt alsof je midden in de natuur zat maar met fijne luxe. De schommel en het zwembad maakte het fijn om na een lange dag touren even bij te komen en de wasservice en het huren van een scooter via hun was ook handig en fijn.

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit einer wunderschönen und sehr gepflegten Außenanlage. Die Lage ist gut – wie überall auf Nusa Penida empfiehlt sich ein Roller. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es gute Warungs, sodass man schnell essen gehen kann. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber völlig ausreichend und lecker. Die Zimmer sind einfach & sauber. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit des Außenbereichs sowie die sehr herzlichen und super freundlichen Gastgeber.

Einziger wirklicher Kritikpunkt sind die Badezimmer: Sauberkeit ist zwar in Ordnung, aber vom Standard her echt sehr in die Jahre gekommen und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Wir hatten extrem viele Kakerlaken (wofür natürlich die Gastgeber nichts konnten). Insgesamt jedoch ein schöner Aufenthalt mit tollem Ambiente und sehr gastfreundlicher Atmosphäre.

Eigenlijk alles was hier perfect. De vriendeijkheid en behulpzaamheid van de mensen. Het is een familiebedrijf wat een perfect hotel runt met zn allen. Ook een heerlijk zwembad aanwezig. Handdoeken die heerlijk fris ruiken en ook een fijn bed om in te slapen. Als we 's avonds naar een restaurant gingen werden we gebracht door iemand van de familie en als we terug wilden konden we een appje sturen en stond hij weer voor ons klaar.

Alles was zo schoon en ze maakte een heerlijk ontbijt. Voor 15 euro werden we naar leuke restaurantjes gebracht aan de zee en "s aovends ook weer opgehaald. Top service!

I loved my Villa, spacious and beautiful. The pool was lovely and well maintained. The location is a bit far away but if you have your own scooter or are happy to use taxis, then it doesn’t matter. I personally loved being high up, out of the busy area. Staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything.

Lekker huisje met een lekker bed. Het is er erg rustig. Zwembad is mooi en biedt mooi uitzicht! Het is niet echt een accommodatie om er de hele dag te verblijven en aan het zwembad te liggen. Je kunt via het verblijf een taxi regelen. Binnen 10min ben je bij allerlei leuke restaurantjes.

Tip: zorg voor goeie ligbedden voor bij het zwembad. Het nodigt nu niet uit om erop te liggen, omdat ze er erg vies en oud uitzien. Meerdere zitzakken die er lagen waren kapot. Ontbijtplek kan ook een stuk gezelliger. De blaffende honden hoor je inderdaad in de avond.

The villa was really nice with the traditional outdoor bathroom. The swimming pool and garden are really beautiful and very well maintained. The location is a bit remote so you need a driver or rent a motorbike to get around but half way between Sampalan (main town) and the harbour. We were recommended a driver, Gede, that we used for our whole stay there. A great local guy who can take you everywhere on the island.

A lovely place with excellent service to stay at while in Nusa Penida. Our stay was short though. Would love to come back. Extremely well priced. Clean beautiful pool, and the dinner was delicious. One grouse though, not great breakfast. They could even charge more and include some variety.

it is a small hotel with incredibly nice service, we were almost alone there. The views are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared to be woken up early in the morning by nearby roosters. The water in the shower was cool, although in this heat it was not a problem

They were very nice and helped to organize transport or tours. The rooms and outside bathroom was good as well as the very nice pool outside. I would definitely go there again.

Sijainti on hiukan syrjässä joten henkilökunta otti aina tarpeemme huomioon ja järjesti kuljettajan. Hotellilta järjestettiin meille myös snorklausretki, kätevää! Ravintolan tarjonta hieman suppea, mutta riittävä ja ruoka oli todella hyvää.

Villa Vilah was so beautiful! The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was our favourite of our trip. The pool area was so peaceful and the staff bringing round a fresh coconut was a lovely touch. The staff were so so lovely and really helpful with booking cabs etc. The lunch menu they offer was great, we stayed at the hotel one afternoon and were really pleasantly surprised.

The location of this hotel wasn’t ideal for us (we love to walk everywhere) if you hire a scooter, you need to be super confident with steep hills and twisty, slim, busy roads.

Villa Vilah was simply fantastic! The accommodation and garden was spotlessly clean, and the property itself was a dreamy retreat after our excursions. The location is perfect – with a scooter, you can quickly reach the best restaurants. We were especially impressed by the team, who created a warm, family-like atmosphere. A special thanks goes to Wayan Eka, who made our stay unforgettable. We would love to come back!

I absolutely loved the place! The room was incredibly spacious and even had a frigobar. The outdoor bathroom area is really nice, and the pool is amazing, offering a beautiful sunset view. The staff were all fantastic and super helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The property itself is great, but it’s a bit of a distance from the main restaurants and cafes. If you don't drive a scooter, you'll need to arrange for transport to get around.

It a bit far to walk to the beach

Honestly can't fault this place, they were SO nice. Everything was brilliant - it's a small little family run place, and they really take care of it. The rooms have everything you need - a fridge, Aircon, etc and they are spacious. Outdoor bathroom is really cool too. The breakfast is delicious - good selection and home cooked to order. And the staff are SO helpful and friendly - helped with scooters, advice on where to visit, etc. The pool is perfect too and has a great sunset view. Would recommend!!!

The place is clean, beautiful landscape. The pool is so nice and the sunset view is amazing. The room is clean, the bed is so comfortable, you just don't want to got outside ! They served food at Villa vilah, and it is very good. And what about the people that work there. So nice, so helpful, very polite. We can rent motorbike there. Highly recommanded.

The staff were so nice and super helpful. Not pushy like some places in Bali and they went above and beyond, suggesting things to make our trip easier that we hadn't yet considered. Villa Villah exceeded my expectations and was the best stay I could’ve imagined! As a female solo traveler who doesn’t know how to drive a scooter, I needed a LOT of help and the staff here was incredible. The roads are super challenging to drive. It’s a great location and the staff is super helpful. They organize everything for you such as snorkel tours, land tours, and scooters rentals. It’s very close to the main road full of restaurants. And it’s secluded away from the busy noise so I slept peacefully every night. I even extended my stay an extra night cause I felt so comfortable here. Great WiFi! Breakfast always served to my room at the exact time I asked for. Wayan was the person I WhatsApp texted a lot for anything I needed at the hotel. He helped me with breakfast orders, more towels when I needed, and organized manta point snorkel tour with go pro footage. He even dropped me off at the tour and picked me back up. So sweet! Wayan made everything easy for me to enjoy. Their driver Sadam was the best! He was already waiting for me when I arrived at the harbor and dropped me off for departure. he scootered me around everywhere I wanted to go. He also taught me how to ride a scooter but I still wasn’t confident enough to drive by myself. So I really appreciate that Sadam took me everywhere, picked me up or waited for me outside until I finished. He drove me to my early morning free diving lessons and to the best sunset dinner restaurants. Great recommendations for where to eat! I felt safe and happy everywhere I went. The room is impeccable. So spacious. I love the outdoor shower, had a gorgeous moon view and the beautiful pool! Super clean. Gorgeous mountain sea view. Bed is so comfy, I slept amazing. My room was cleaned every day. It was easy to order a coconut and yummy lunch by the pool. The staff was always on time or early to pick me up and take me where I needed to go. I was happy to use their driving service.

I loved everything about this property, nothing I did not like

Little gem with nice rooms and outside bathroom. Basic breakfast but nice. Pool towels were available in the room.

You definetly need a scooter as location is approx 10min away from beaches/restaurants. We didn't hear that many dogs.

This resort is super clean and run by lovely honest people. Sadam, Madir, Payan, Tut, Ngah & Ketut really make a huge difference with your stay here. They are always ready to assist in any possible way. The place was peaceful and lovely. Love the bed and pool the most! They use good quality Sheets, towels, toilet paper…😃highly recommend this lovely place

The location of the resort is a little far and out. There are scooters available for those that can ride bikes. Otherwise there were taxis or Pak Sadam was always available to assist us.

Madi & Wayan were really friend and welcoming!! All the staff were great! The villa is very well maintained and beautiful!

We stayed in this accommodation for 5 nights. Villa Vilah offers everything you need and more. The accommodation was very clean and the grounds were maintained daily. In addition, the staff were incredibly friendly. They came to our rescue when we had a flat tyre even though we were on the other side of the island. We enjoyed our time very much. Highly recommended accommodation.

The resort is cute with nice houses situated around the pool. You're in the middle of the jungle, but if you've rented a scooter still close to any restaurants etc. The family is always available to help with anything and is very kind. We even got a coconut as a suprise a couple of times when we were at the pool. The room was clean, the wifi worked well and the breakfast was simple but tasty.

We enjoyed staying in Villa Vilah. Staff was very helpful and provided support out of the way. Gid was exceptional, he really help us plan overall trip in Nusa Penida. we spent 3 days over there and rented two bike to roam around island.Booking bike from Villa a bit expensive as you can find cheaper options with direct deal.

Everything was as expected and value for money.

Very very friendly staff. Doing an amazing job. The room is big and has good airconditioning. The outdoor bathroom is a bit weird in beginning but gets really nice if you are used to it. They helped us with all requests like big scooter and manta ray snorkeling. Just so friendly 🙏🏼

There were some cobwebs in the corners of the room. But we did not really mind that much so we did not complain about it.

The staff were all very friendly and super helpful! Wayan in particular was a star, lovely manner and very knowledgeable. The pool and view are beautiful. Big comfy bed. Sorted us a moped. Made island live very easy and enjoyable.

This isn’t a negative but you would need some sort of transport (scooter/taxi) to get to and from hotel.

The staff was always very pleasant, especially Mr. Guayan, who is genuinely a kind person. The room was good and clean. The facilities, including the pool, are very beautiful.

Breakfast is not bad, but it should be improved! The hotel is a 15-minute scooter ride from the center (can be rented directly in the hotel), so keep this in mind when booking. It's true that there is a lot of noise in the evening, I think it's because there is a temple nearby with music practice in the evening, plus dogs barking. In the morning, you hear a lot of roosters, but I think it's the same all over the island. Anyway, the management should improve when it comes to noise isolation in the rooms.

The pool was amazing and the staff were the best! The rooms were very clean. We extended our stay at the villa. You can rent a scooter from the villa. They are very helpful!

Restaurant was closed. Only delver food at the hotel. So you need the bike to get out for dinner. I guess because of low season. Breakfast should be enhanced.

Such a lovely place , very peaceful, a little Oasis. Staff were very lovey and helpful especially 1 member of staff called Gedee who was able to be my guide and show me around the lovely beeches on the island for one day , and was there to help with any enquiries. The rooms were immaculate and a lovely pool too. Only slight issue is location to Restaurants is probably not good by walking, but scooter hire is available at Hotel.or I'm sure Gedee or other staff would organise t

We had an excellent stay at Villa Vilah. We loved the hospitality offered by the staff. They were very warm, welcoming and super helpful. They organized a scooter and transfers for us (cheaper than ongoing rates). They also reply very promptly on WhatsApp. Thank you so much for the amazing stay. The room was cozy, television has a netflix/Amazon prime connection and their bathroom which has a nice open air setting is truly amazing. The pool area was very nice and well maintained. If we will come back to Penida we will definitely stay at Villa Vilah.

Property is very beautiful and just like the pictures! The rooms were great and beds very comfortable, but the best thing about our stay we’re definitely the staff! They were excellent and so accommodating, anything we needed they were more than happy to help and were so friendly! The receptionists were so kind and helped organise a little surprise for someone on our trip whose birthday it was and they went completely above and beyond with it! We ended up extending our stay twice because we loved it here so much and would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting Nusa Penida!

It is a nice place, clean and staff are very kind and helpful. I like the outside toilet, not many mosquitos outside so it is very pleasant. Breakfast is ok and the swimming pool is nice. I also liked that they give you towels for the swimming pool.

The massage room is out of service so had to have a massage by the swimming pool, which was OK because there was no one around at the time, but would have been nice to have a private space, the massage lady was excellent. Water bottles everyday. It is nice to have water every day, but this creates so much rubbish and Bali already has a big rubbish problem. Perhaps having a big water jug by reception and let guest refill is more sostainable.
