Well located. Super clean. Staff is so kind and helpful. Complimentary Champaign and desert on our first day to welcome us and hand soap gift when we checked out.

Everything was lovely, the greeting on arrival and attention given throughout our stay Location is great and to go for an early morning walk through Alfama was really nice.

the bathroom had a little glass door inside the bedroom and there was a horrible sewage smell coming from there. Also the window faced the interior of the building. very little natural light.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay not only comfortable, but memorable and special. The daily cleaning of our room was immaculate and the location was perfect.

The only thing about the room was there was no dresser to store clothes and there were no robes available.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Great location close to the Tagus and old town. Very clean room, well appointed with excellent linen. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area in the old part.

Upon arrival at AlmaLusa Alfama Hotel in Lisbon, we were welcomed by kind and friendly staff who showed us to our room. I hadn't realised when I made the booking that our room was one of the smaller options at around 19 square metres. As we were travelling with quite a bit of luggage, we decided to upgrade to a larger suite, which made our stay much more comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally well designed. The air conditioning was excellent, and despite being in the heart of the historic district on what I would consider a busy street, the room was wonderfully quiet once the windows were closed. It was the perfect place for a restful night's sleep. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the waterfront promenade, historic churches, charming streets to explore, and the famous Pink Street, known for its nightlife and bars. We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore Lisbon. We also loved the hotel's interior design, and the thoughtful gift that housekeeping left on our bed on our final night was a lovely touch and a real sign of the care the team puts into their guests' experience.

There were only a couple of small areas where the experience could have been improved. At breakfast, the à la carte portions felt quite modest. For example, we ordered bacon and received just two slices each, which felt a little light for two six-foot men. The other disappointment was the bar service one evening. We returned to the hotel hoping to enjoy a drink outside, but were told the outdoor seating area had closed and that we could only sit indoors. However, there was still a group outside finishing their meal and drinks, who remained there for quite some time afterwards. It felt as though we could easily have been accommodated for a single drink, so this seemed like a missed opportunity to offer a little more flexibility for hotel guests. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is stylish, peaceful, perfectly located, and the team made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. We'd happily stay here again on our next trip to Lisbon.

The room was very small. I was travelling solo so it was fine but it would be a tight squeeze for a couple.

Stayed here in 2025 to be close enough to walk to the cruise port (10 minutes) as well as all Lisbon has to offer. Back again in 2026 for another cruise. This hotel is one of our all-time favourites. We had room #12 with a balcony overlooking the square. Beautiful room, amazing bathroom, buffet and eggs-to-order breakfast and welcoming staff.

Personeel was super vriendelijk. Ze hielpen ons waar nodig en een mooie kamer. Ook de locatie van het hotel was goed. Het is centraal gelegen waardoor je makkelijk bij alle bezienswaardigheden terecht komt.

Er waren geen gordijnen op de badkamer en onze kamer was naar de straatkant gericht waardoor de badkamer gebruiken toch een kleine uitdaging was. Het voordeel was dan wel dat er veel natuurlijk licht aanwezig was in de kamer.

Het late inchecken… 15.00u! Vroeger uitschenken (bv10.00u) zou beter zijn en dan kan er ook vroeger inchecken… als je van ver komt is het leuk je al even op je kamer te kunnen verfrissen.

The housekeeper came in to my room and pull the covers from above my head thinking I was not there. Left and slammed the door behind her. She woke me up because she pulled my hair by accident. She left the room without apologizing. I thought it was a ghost but I asked told the front desk guy who said it was the housekeeper who’s done that by accident while I was taking a nap. Scared the hell out of me!

Excellent location, everything looks brand new and very clean. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly and always ready to help. The room is a bit small but comfortable.

The location is great, lots of lovely restaurants close by. The room was beautifully decorated and we had a wonderful view at the front of the hotel. The bed and pillows were super comfortable - exceptionally so. The staff were amazing - really helpful with restaurant recommendations. It was also great to be messaged by the hotel before we arrived to arrange airport transfers and walking tours.

Loved everything about the Hotel. A perfect location, small and cozy, and extremely clean. The reception and concierge team were exceptionally attentive. They arranged our reservations promptly and gave us wonderful recommendations. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.

The location of this hill couldn’t be better. It’s right on the edge of Alfama and next to the centre and right near the coast. We were greeted with chocolate cake. The room was clean and recently decorated. The reception staff were fantastic.

Our room was ridiculously small. We had to squeeze to get around the bed and while the reception staff are great, the bar/restaurant staff much less so.

Hotel claims in booking to have a garage parking. Not only it doesn’t but also you cannot even drive in front of the hotel to leave the baggage. They don’t even write you that or the external parking address on booking confirmation, you just drive around until u call them and they explain. One of my worst experiences.

The hotel is not far from the Terreiro do Paço metro station and in a very nice location. The hotel staff were welcoming and very kind throughout our stay. Rooms are excellent, our bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, bathroom was lovely with the shower separated from the toilet. Sometimes you find bathroom fixtures loose or discoloured tile grout but not here. Not usually requiring a mention but the carpet - indeed the carpet throughout the hotel was of a very high quality and tremendously clean in our room – it looked brand new. The halls had plants and nice decor on the walls - it was a treat to use the stairs. Complimentary still and sparkling water every day, which could be drunk from the two heavy tumblers supplied, a nice touch was chocolate cakes delivered to our room on our first evening plus a departing gift as well. Buffet breakfast was just right, one day we were stopping only to grab some pastries as we were out early travelling to Sintra, we were each given a foil container which helped us considerably. Nespresso machine was also included plus safe and fridge. We also had a venetian blind which had a nice expensive action and windows that we could open. Obrigado!

We would have liked a small kettle but it didn't bother us in the slightest.
