Location is excellent as is the value for money.

Having to go through the nail salon to access the apartment. Sometimes I felt as if I was annoying the staff every time I passed through. Very small problem.

The homestay is tucked away in an alley, the host provided excellent instructions for finding it. Nice room, filtered water available(super bonus), laundry, large rooms, easy check in, super communicative and helpful host. We really like the neighborhood, fruit sellers in the alleys in the morning, restaurants, coffee shops, really night juice and smoothing place right there

Location

Air vent very dusty dirty, and under the bed dusty and bathroom door need a dam goo clean. All needs a tidy up.

My only pointer was that the toilet bin wasn't changed during our stay which it needed

The beds were hardly sleep able very hard like sleeping on the floor and the lift you have to use is quite scary small box size one 1 person at a time these things need to be advertised like they advertise machine machine there is only 1 and the housekeeper uses it all day and there are no lights to use it at night? Just found the whole experience disappointing and the television didnt work

Il faudrait changer la bouilloire, car il y a de la rouille au fond.

The shower didn’t have hot water. Just part of it worked. The wifi was bad.

Very large, clean and comfortable room with large balcony. Nearby restaurants. Would recommend the Craft Brewery which is a short walk away. Would stay here again.

Lots of stairs to our room so ask for a lower floor if you are not fit. The lift is only suitable for bags so at least we didn't have to carry those up.

Location was ok

Weird feel entering through a beauty parlour with a dark staircase in the back of the building, first thing we saw was about 10 dead cockroaches in the lift shaft, kind or marked the experience, should've turned around then. Room wasn't clean and also really dark. Shower didn't work properly either. Super thin blanked without a cover. Cheapish room, but still not worth the money, have stayed in very friendly, inviting and clean places here in Vietnam for much less. Pictures are not reality at all! Highly airbrushed and photoshopped.

hardly anything that I like.

The location is not too bad. It is in a busy Residence area. But, I do not know why every time when I take Grab, the stopped place is 800m away from the actual place. The room is on the top of a pho shop, Therefore you are steaming all the time. And it is a reason with cockroach in the room. The corridor is very narrow. there is a temple nearby, and it start ceremony in the 3am with a very loud speaker. There are alot of other home stay in Hochiming at this price range.

Perfect location in a nice neighborhood, walking distance from main attractions. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. On the check-out day we could leave our backpacks till our flight late at night The room and the bed are large (and the bed is comfortable)

The room isn't as clean as it appears in the pictures and the air is stuffy. The water in the shower comes out boiling hot from one shower head and freezing cold from the other and there was no way to change any of them... So we had to do some engineering and mixing to figure how to have a warm shower Walls are thin so you can hear everything going on in the stairs

Ужасный отель.грязный. Никому не советую останавливаться в этом отеле. Постельные клещи, ужасные тараканы, грязные комнаты. Взяли оплату без обзора комнат. Заселились на 3 дня и оплатили но пробыли всего 1 час. Когда попросили хозяйку вернуть нам хотя-бы за 2 дня деньги она отказалась. Одним словом ужас ужас.

Very well kept rooms, comfortable beds, clean sheets and bathroom. If you come late you may be surprised to see the entrence is via a closes garage door but it’s all legit.

The building had an elevator and I could use the washing machine free of charge, there was detergent to be used too. The room was spacious. Around the area plenty of restaurants.

The cleanliness could be better, although it was ok compared to previous places I stayed in Saigon. At night, you can hear clearly people’s voice and noice from the stairways.

The terrace was amazing, the room had a big fridge and a separate, clean bathroom. Lots of good food options nearby.

It is a walk up unit

It’s located in a central area but its relatively quiet. It’s tucked away enough from the main street not to hear the traffic noise and there’s cafes,stalls with fresh produce, spa, restaurants, pharmacy and convenience stores literally just outside the property. The staff was also accommodating for any requests we had such as extra pillows, check the water pressure, late check-in, and we left our luggages on the mezzanine flr upon check out and returned for it later in the day.

The stairs. Dizzying to go down and felt like a workout going up. We booked two rooms, got the 4th and 3rd flr w balcony and while there is an elevator that goes up only until 3rd floor and can only accommodate one person at a time, if you have big luggages it has to go first before you. Nonetheless, its still better than nothing. The 4th flr room has its bathroom separated btw even though you’ll be the only ones using it, a small inconvenience but of course not ideal since you have to lock your room when you use the bathroom. Also upon check in there was a not so pleasant smell in the room; smells like a damp cloth or something but we’re so tired to be bothered so we just didnt raise the concern with the staff.The smell kind of went away on its own anyway.

The elevator is too small

The location is absolutely a plus, really nice street with lot of coffee shops and restaurants. We could leave our bags in a storage rooms. The price for the room is good and it is simple.

Is was not really clean, the mattress was really dirty. Around the bed are a lot of hairs and other things from persons before us. The shower furred up and limescaled. We found old toothpaste stains. The pressure into to shower is very low, sometimes there were no water. We never see anybody, when we arrived we didn’t have the number for the door. Some rooms may have a nice few and balcony, our rooms were to the other side with a house wall in front.

Common bathroom for all the guest in whole apartment Caretaker is not available on point sometimes and we need to get in touch with Owner to get the water bottles which needs to be replaced everyday based on booking, which we didn't get.

A very spacious room, a walkable distance from most attractions. Some great restaurants on the Main Street 2 mins walk away. The bed was very comfortable, and the homestay is in a quiet location so you don’t hear any noise throughout the night. Very useful to have a free washer and dryer in the building.

Whilst the lady who checked us in was lovely, there was a huge language barrier and even using a translator app what she was saying still didn’t make sense. So the check in ended up being a bit confusing.

Great stay with a big terrace in a good location. Very flexible with checking in and out. Nice street with lots of local shops and easy walking distance to major tourist sport.

Having the bathroom outside on the corridor is not ideal but it works.

Excellent location. Nearby to all tourist attractions.

The property does not have a parking which becomes a huge issue when you rent your own vehicle.

Good location in a quiet residential area. Walking distance to nice cafes, shops and main city area was a short grab bike away. Small elevator for taking bags upstairs. Tv in the room for playing YouTube. Large wardrobe space

Wi-Fi network was super dodgey and kept cutting in and out on both my phone and laptop the entire time. Points knocked off for that

The location is very central nearby 12 minutes walk there is an olympic public swimming pool. The staff is really kind and friendly, always very helpful and smiley. Will stay again next time.

For the price, nothing to complain

The bed was extremely hard. I could feel the springs on my back. Water glasses in the room were not clean .

It good location, many shops and restaurants

Rooms are clean but It’s a bit small. The house itself isn’t as clean.

The hotel is located in the district 1 HoChiMinh. Before this we stayed in other hotels and as practice has shown, this one had the best location. Not noisy, safe and cheaper coffee than on other streets. The Vietnamese wake up early and from 7 the life is in full swing & glass of coffee is on the table. Opposite the hotel served excellent coffee for 16,000 dongs in other places 25 000 dongs min. In general, this hotel doesn't have reception, was wrote to us via WhatsApp where to get the keys and how to get to our rooms. Clear, brief and understandable. Everything we needed was there. They cleaned and gave clean towels. So we are happy with the price and quality.

1) Close to everything 2) The staff from the juice shop below the accomodation are very friendly. Really enjoyed the coconut and strawberry smoothies almost everyday staying there 3) the host is so friendly. Can easily communicate with her on WhatsApp 4)the room is spacious and the mini fridge and microwave are such a thoughtful addition to the room

The stairs are quite small. It's an inconvenience if we have to avoid someone going up or going down the stairs. I didn't realise the elevator would be that small before the stay. It would be better if we can know this ahead as our room is located on third or fourth floor.

Lots of restraunts around and not too far to main attractions.

We stayed top floor up 90 stairs, bathroom is in hallway separate to bedroom, which was OK but not ideal. Def wouldn't suit unfit or persons with mobility issues. Briefly met host,most of communications via WhatsApp, felt was lacking in hospitality here compared to other homestays.Loads of cigarette butt's in outside plants on our balcony.lots of mosquitos and gap between door and frame(insect spray at least be helpful). Hard bed and ave pillows.

The host was attentive, nice place close to everything. Clean and comfortable! The kitchen was a super nice addition.

The WiFi was good, but if used for uploading videos it doesn’t work well.

It's in a nice quiet area. It was clean. The owner was always available in Whatsapp.

If you've got mobility problems then probably not advisable to book.

Location is great. Owner is very communicative. The place is really clean. The small elevator is actually a smart touch though it takes quite a bit of time cause you can only fit 1 suitcase / person per trip.

I didn't realize it comes with a separate bathroom, so it was a bit incovenient. Also my room is the one on the highest floor, and the elevator can only go up to the second highest floor, so I had to carry my suitcase down 1 floor to use the mini elevator.

Great location, friendly hosts and included everything we needed for our travel to Ho Chi Minh City. Comfortable, felt safe and more than enough space for a group of friends.

Good location for using grab or walking to the center. Many cafes and restaurants around. We did not meet the owner but she was nice and communicative by whatsapp.

The bed sheets did not look it was freshly changed for us.

Location was nice for us. A few places to eat and drink at. Communication with the host was good. Room was good for us. We stayed on the 3rd floor, small lift to get up. I liked the lift and we’re healthy enough to walk up and down the stairs with bags so that was ok for us.

It would be nice to be able to pay with the card.

Our stay at HUYEN was a recommendable one absolutely!!!! The place was clean and WIFI was so fast.....i think Vietnam has a good WIFI coverage, very impressive. nothing, everything was perfect!

Really cute building tucked away from the bustling streets of Saigon. I cannot rave about the owner more! She is amazing! My debit card got eaten by the atm during the Lunar New Year and she opened up a booking for me to stay until I got it back AND gave me a discount! In addition to the great staff, the room was very comfortable and clean and the location of the building is amazing. Great cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops along the street and it is very close to the popular tourist destinations without being in the middle of the craziness. I especially loved the balcony! Will definitely book at Huyen next time I am in Saigon!

This is not really a con (as it’s not something the owners can change) but just know there can be a lot of stairs to climb if you stay on the upper levels. There is a small elevator but it is very small. It did not bother me at all but if you are traveling with someone older or disabled, it may be a challenge.

A good place to stay for a couple of nights. Close to a number of restaurants, cafes and other culinary options. Also the ride from the airport is relatively short. The owner is nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs.

The view from the windows is blocked by the next building , so privacy can be kept only by closing the curtains. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

The cleanliness. The area (a lot of food shops and cafés and an exceptionally tasty bun bo nearby) The tiny elevator (the main reason I booked this place) even though I had to carry the heavy suitcase until the last floor because the elevator doesn't go there (floor 4).
