CityHouse NEST LightHouse Saigon

As a freelancer, internet speed and convenient transportation are key factors for me. This place nails both. I can easily catch a Grab to any chill cafe in District 1 for just a few dollars. The apartment is brand new and remarkably quiet, even though it's located in a bustling area.

nothing

Large room, quiet, easy to find, great location, pool and sauna on site

Shower floods whole bathroom.

The locations and the pool were great.

Rooms 204 and 207 had no windows. Sometimes a bad smell comes from the kitchen inside. Also, the pipe of the shower got clogged. On the last day, when the staff cleaned up the room, toilet paper was not refurnished.

Rooms are very clean. Swimming pool was great.

I was unaware that my room had no window. But overall I had excellent sleep.

Was clean, comfortable also the bed and close to the city. Many good and cheap restaurants around.

it was very clean and very nice. rooms got serviced which was fab and meant we had fresh towels. our room didnt have a window though.

our room didnt have a window but still very nice

Nice pool, good location, big room

No windows in the room felt quite dark

Walking distance or short Grab to anywhere. Local area with a lot of great food options. Walking Street around the corner. Room was very comfortable

No issues with hotel the streets being local could be dirty at times

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They handled our late-night check-in, room change, and luggage storage with great patience and tried their best to offer solutions from the guest’s perspective.

There was no ramp at the entrance, making it inconvenient for guests with luggage or mobility issues. Room 2 on the ground floor had a hidden side entrance behind the curtain. If doors or windows were left unlocked, people from outside—such as those smoking or using the toilet—could freely enter the room, which was unacceptable. After reporting this, we were moved to a room on the 4th floor. The ground floor room had a glass panel in the door that let in hallway light, and a loose metal strip on the floor that posed a risk of injury. Both ground and fourth-floor rooms had poor sound insulation; hallway noise was clearly audible, and light leaked through the door gap. Not suitable for light sleepers. The bathroom’s wet/dry separation was ineffective, and water leaked through the shower door. The hotel is located near a school, so traffic congestion is common. The rooftop pool is very small, and the sauna had a strong fecal odor, making it unusable.

Excellent location, a 2-5 mins grab bike away from most attractions

digital lock a bit laggy

Nice rooms, excellent shower

Location isn’t great. Not a lot of nice restaurants, bars, shops ect..

Bright, clean and spacious room. The bed was very comfortable. Convenient location to explore the city with many food stalls nearby and a nice pool to relax. The staff was extremely helpful with us, they quickly answered our queries through whatsapp and the team at the reception even helped us manage our delayed flights.

Some fixtures in the room could use some minor maintenance (e.g. the sink tap and the shower head were a bit loose as well as the closet rod). There's noise coming from the corridor, however, this was only disturbing when some guests were checking-in late at night.

Quiet

The first room in the hotel, very easy to use, clean comfortable and spacious.

No windows, low brightness and noise from air recirculation.

Good location, clean comfortable, great value.

Pools getting a bit dated, no window in room, makes it a bit gloomy.

Great location, attentive staff

Room had no real window

Good location near the district 1

There was no noise isolation at all. During my stay, I could clearly hear my neighbours and the street, which was also very noisy.

Very clean and comfortable. I love the mini kitchen. Rooms are well soundproofed and well designed. Many facilities within walking distance. My third time here.

I booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 people not a tiny studio with no windows.

I stayed here 4 nights and extended by one more. Amazing atmosphere, near to everything you like and if you like local food, very good restaurants nearby. The staff is nice and quick specially one lady Hien was very quick in response and very efficient. I cannot believe there are apartments like this at this price somewhere in the word. Very clean. Only one hob and limited utensils ! Coming again !

Good location in district 1. We liked the pool even tho it was closing pretty early.

Room had only one small window, so it might be a bit claustrophobic for some people

Room 401 has no mirror in room, very small mirror in shower place. Room opposite Elevator. Confusion about check in and check out time from hotel

Quiet. Clean. Comfy

Minor things that I feedback to the hotel such as more toilet paper 🤣

Bed was comfy. The staff were very helpful.

The pool was cloudy and the bathroom flooded everyone we had a shower.

It was great time stay their

Staff dont speak english, loved the sauna

Clean comfortable modern cold air conditioning, rooftop pool with good view, great position

Great location, clean & tidy. Pool area is nice but could do with more sunbeds

Slightly noisey at night

Very comfy bed and bedsheets! And many pillows :) The room was very clean and the pool area is nice. The staff is very friendly and very helpful! Really liked it there :)

Very new, clean!

No windows in room

Feels very new and clean, nice shower and comfortable bed. Room looks just like the picture.

I read the comments about construction next door but didn’t know how bad it would be. At 7am I thought they were going to drill right through my wall, and they were operating a crane at midnight. Also, I didn’t need to use the kitchen but there was no soap, etc. if I had wanted to use/wash dishes.

Nice modern room, shower good and receptionist helpful

Drilling and banging from 7am, very hot, a/c didn’t seem to work, kitchen had no crockery at all, room was in the middle of building with the hall light shining through all night

Nice beds and space.

So much construction right on the balcony and next to our wall. Very noisy all day starting from early. The staff didn’t tell us about the construction.

My room was very modern, clean and comfortable. There was a small safe, an electric kettle, a steamer iron, an electric hob and oven, a hair dryer in the bathroom and plenty of hot water. The air-conditioner worked very well, the bed was comfortable and the pillows soft. The room was cleaned every day. The receptionists were friendly. The accommodation was amazingly good value for money. The swimming pool on the roof was good fun, and there were two loungers and some chairs and a table available for guests up there. Since most Vietnamese guests dislike the sun, the loungers seemed to be always free for sunbathing. This rooftop area was attractive, with well tended flowers and shrubs. A big plus.

Although there was an electric kettle, there were no cups or mugs provided to drink coffee or tea, no instant coffee sachets, teabags, sugar or milk available, so I wondered what was the purpose of the kettle. Two glasses were provided, but these, I felt, could break if filled with boiling water. The only cutlery provided was 2 pairs of chopsticks, two forks and two long teaspoons. No knives were provided, for example to cut any fruit that a guest might buy. You can get a knife, if you ask for one, but not a cup or a mug. It was impossible for short-term guests to cook for themselves, as no pots, pans, cooking utensils or plates were provided. This, I felt, was quite reasonable for people on holiday staying only for a few days. But these short-term guests like me do need to have a cup or mug to drink tea or coffee, even if we have to buy the coffee, tea, sugar and/or milk from outside. Finally, no soap was provided for the wash basin in the bathroom, although there were both shampoo and body wash in the shower cubicle.

The room itself was a massive studio that was spotless. And the extra facilities like the pool was beautiful, we loved the night view from the top.

Friendly staff and excellent facilities especially for the price. We will come back here! Pool and gym, kitchen in the room as well if you need it. Bidet and lovely big shower.

Pool& mini gym Nice modern room Good sleep Close enough to main location

By room Were I was staying there was no window, so check what type of room You book.

I liked the location. I could walk from the airport bus to the hotel and there were some quite nice restaurants nearby. The nightlife are is also not far and if you are willing to walk 20 minutes you can reach most touristy spots. The pool was nice and had a good view over the city. There was a small gym next to it with some cardio machines. The rooms were well equipped and decent.

Be aware that, at least in my room, there was just a tiny window in the room. For me that was fine but others might have a problem with it. Towards the end of my trip I got some issues with ants even though I have to say that the rest of the hotel was very clean.

Great location, had heaps of facilities which we used. Very clean and really friendly staff.

Our room was the first in the building so it was really loud in the morning and at night when people were checking in/out. Other than that, really great.

It was new and clean

There was construction next door and we got absolutely no sleep one night. With works all through the night. The shower also flooded the bathroom.

Spotless clean

The room is well equipped and comfortable, staff is friendly and super helpful.

We got a room close to the neighboring construction site, so there was a loud noise since 7AM.

Getting out of here.

Terrible construction noise next door. Impossible to get any sleep. Front desk isn't even picking up the phone. Just read a review from a few days ago mentioning the same issue. AVOID if you care to get any sleep. And we are getting heavy cooking smell coming in the room. I've travelled a lot and this is the worse place I've ever been to.

Location is convenient and close to a few cafes and attractions (Bui Vien Walking street). Rooms were well maintained with enough facilities for a few days. The receptionist and security guards were very friendly.

Wifi was rather slow but I had plenty of mobile data to use so it was no big deal. Standard Vietnam socket types were used (Type A, C and F), remember to bring a travel adapter or just get one at 7-11.

For the price. It was good

Overall good experience

Great service

No tea / coffee

Great location, friendly staff, clean, cool roof with view and pool/gym/sauna.

Construction site right next to hotel, impossible to sleep (October 2023). Also windows facing street was not sound proof at all.

This apartment has larger rooms than most of the nearby hotels. It was very new and clean. Comfortable bed and TV with Neflix Channels. Have kitchen with microwave and induction cooker. Convenience shops were in walking distance (within 100m). Few restaurants (Noodle restaurant) were just opposite the hotel. This apartment located in a quite street which suitable for a good resting. Beer Street (Bui Vien) was just a walking distance.

Nothing to complaint. Hopefully the price could maintain after the soft launching.

Clean, good location

It was new at the time I booked but reception was not present 24/7. After 8pm, only the guards can help you. The drainage in the shower was not working well too.

The property is located in a strategic location in district 1 close to Bui Vien Walking Street with is around 7-10mins by walking. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and everything in the property is new and clean! Staff are amazing especially housekeeping and front desk in maintaining the guest experiences. The property is also well equipped with a kitchen with microwave and appliances so that is a huge plus! Comes with a safe too for extra security! Overall it is an amazing place to stay!

Nothing. Hopefully when everything is done especially the minor renovations will be fantastic apart from the little noise..Overall I’m satisfied!

STAFF FRIENDLY, LOCATION , VERY CLEAN,

LANGUAGE ISUE.

Completely new, big bathroom and shower, furniture looked really nice, they had a beautiful rooftop and pool, security in front of the building, great location in district 1

There was a construction site nearby so sometimes it could get really loud. The room was clean but you still could see some stains from construction.

Room with balcony

Very clean and neat. Reception lady very nice kind. Helping nature

No every thing ok
