The hotel looks so lovely and new the moment we entered. The pics online are very accurate. I love the Christmas decor is still up. Ngoc, the receptionist was very nice and accommodating. She made sure we knew all the spots around town- food, shopping, cafes, spa! Looking forward to the rest of our stay here.

Lovely boutique hotel. Closed to old quarter but away enough not to be too noisy at night. 1. Well appointed room with balcony. Equipped with standard amenities that you would expect from upscale hotel. Still, TV is a bit painful but it’s a smart one so youtube and netflix is possible. Bed is very comfy. Toiletries are good as well as the linen and towel. 2. Breakfast is decent, not large but sufficient with good quality items. 3. Wifi is fast I enjoyed my stay over the Xmas

Good hotel with friendly staff. I stayed here 2 time and really enjoyed, breakfast is pretty good, the most I like is a bed and pillow, after a long travel I really need a good sleep. In this hotel the room is quite with tropical view - I belive in Hanoi just only Rey have beautiful view like this. The highlight is staff especially Crystal,she is amazing. Overall, a great experience staying at Rey Hotel. The location is excellent, close to everything but not too noisy; the bed was also very comfortable, so I slept well throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Crystal always went the extra mile and shared great tips on where to try the best street food around the city center. Worth noting the hotel doesn't have a pool or gym. My room was very clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better — the wall still had some dirt that hadn't been wiped properly. The hotel has a beautiful garden. It's a public area, and during this season many people come to take photos. Good value for money.

I stayed at this hotel in November and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made my stay relaxing from the start. The staff went above and beyond they kindly upgraded me to a suite, recommended great restaurants, assisted me with language, and even helped arrange taxis. Their hospitality made everything so easy and enjoyable. Because of this hotel’s stuff, we are already planning to come back to Hanoi again.

The hotel , located in the Old Quarter, is beautiful and elegant, and perfectly maintained......the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of breakfast items for every palate. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Crystal at the front desk is very helpful. Nestled close to the busy and adventurous train street. The hotel is glitzy with lavish decorations as Christmas approaches. The hotel has bright earth tone colors with the highlight of trees blending with the architecture, in contrast to the modern yet minimalist interior. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance from the moment we arrive at the premise. Thanks to Crystal - a passionate and enthusiastic girl - has made our stay. Tricks and tips for the Old Quarters to the best sightseeing - all were mention by Crystal in detailed. Our room is compact and spotless with a standing railing above the internal courtyard created such cozy and unique vibe in the rim of the bustling and splendid street near the Citadel. Fusion breakfast is included and filled with currated local delicacies and some European dish. We'll definitely comeback here again!

Mr. Hung and Ms, Tram at the front desk absolutely made our stay!! They went above and beyond with helping us sort luggage lost by the airline, finding some trusted area services, food recommendations… we’ve stayed in 4 hotels so far in Vietnam and can’t rave enough about the staff! (Room was lovely, although we could hear construction/street noise. Buffet breakfast had many options but was not our favorite. I would rate the quality as a 3.5 of 5.)

This hotel is located in the city center with a spacious and magnificent lobby, and there is a very pleasant fragrance when you step inside. The staff welcome guests warmly and thoughtfully. Especially Crystal, who helped us by recommending restaurants and the Train Street café; she even gave us a lovely souvenir. The staff are the highlight of the hotel.

I stayed at Rey Hotel during my business trip and had a really pleasant experience. The room was beautiful, with modern facilities — everything felt new and well-maintained. Special shout-out to the front desk staff: they were professional, cheerful, and super friendly, always offering helpful information whenever I needed it. You guys really made me feel at home! I also loved the location — it’s close to many sightseeing spots but not right in the Old Quarter, so it’s quiet and relaxing. The area is surrounded by military offices, which makes it feel very safe. Overall, a perfect place to stay for both work and leisure. Highly recommended!

This is my 2nd time staying at Rey Hotel in Hanoi. First time in Nov-2024. This is a 6-storey hotel with 102 rooms. Their lobby area is small (around 2,000sqff) but they have a small and lovely courtyard for photo-taking and seats if you wish to relax. The hotel also has its own drop-off and pick-up area for vehicles. Inside the hotel, they have Singapore-brand, Crystal Jade restaurant for customers who want to dine Singapore Chinese food. Hotel room review: The sound proofing of all their rooms are super solid. In Vietnam, all the vehicles love to horn at each other and their horn sound can be very loud. So solid sound proofing is very important. Their rooms’ sound proofing are much better than some 4 -star or 5-star hotels which I have ever stayed worldwide. But do note that almost all of their rooms have no views. Room amenities review: All their rooms come with complimentary room slippers (2 pairs), bathrobes (2 sets), hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash soap and body lotion. Bed side has power plugs for various standards and USB charging ports. Turning on and off switches are also located on the bed side. Each room is given 2 bottles of free mineral water (300ml per bottle). All other drinks and snacks are payable. The 55” television in the room is big too. For this stay, I stayed at both their Deluxe room (2 nights) and Suite room (1 night). Their beds are firm (not hard) and provide 4 pillows (2 pillows for each side). One pillow is firm and the other pillow is medium firm. I have a very good sleep during my stay and I slept almost 12 hours until nearly overslept on my last day. Front Office Review: The hotel front desk attitude and support are exceptional. From my room reservation until I checked out, I communicated with them via WhatsApp. Their respond is very fast and normally respond no longer 5-15 minutes. The hotel is fully booked for my stay on 6-9 November-2025. Miss Pham, their front reception managed to help me secure 2 nights on Deluxe room. After checking in, their Front Office Manager (can’t remember her name), managed to help me secure a Suite room for my last night. I really appreciate their efforts and for keeping their word to try their best. For their efforts, I avoided the hassle of changing hotel. I’m most impressed by Miss Linh, their Front Office Supervisor. She told me she remembered I stayed at Rey Hotel last year. Initially I am sceptical about it. Then she said she remembered I came to their hotel injured with a walking stick, that is when I really trust her. I teared my ligaments in Malaysia 2 months earlier and still struggled to walk normally. Miss Linh is one of the most gentle, sincere, patient and well-tempered Front Office ladies I have ever met as a heavy traveller worldwide. She is very understanding and tried her best to accommodate my needs. I see her as a potential talent for managerial position in the near future. Hotel Location Review: Rey Hotel is located within the Old Quarters but not directly in the heart of Old Quarters. So, it is quieter and not affected by the hustle and bustle of Old Quarters. Noise pollution is also significantly lower too. Walking from hotel to Old Quarters is around 15 minutes (800m-1,000m). It is around 10 minutes walk (800m) from the hotel to the Train Street to watch the train passed through the small alley which is littered with small restaurants and pubs. It is also around 15-20 minutes walk (1,000m-1,200m) to the lake too. Conclusion: Overall, I had an amazing stay at Rey Hotel. It may not be a large hotel but I the experience I had is much better than some 4-stars or 5-stars hotels. The only negative is their breakfast. Unlike at 4-stars or 5-stars hotels, Rey Hotel doesn’t change the food options for their breakfast everyday. This means you will be eating the same food everyday. If you are planning for a long stay, you will likely get bored with their breakfast. The quality of their breakfast ain’t fantastic nor delicious. The variety of their food is also limited. If Rey Hotel’s management wants to secure the sales revenues from guests who are on long term stay, they need to change their food option everyday and improve the quality and taste of their food.

This is my second stay. On a short notice, the hotel assisted me quickly and had me checked in early at noon instead of 2pm. It has good location to many street food restaurants, local attractions and cafes (which I love). The room is clean with a cosy vibe. Highly recommend.

There were so many different options and also included local food as well. Simple and good hotel. No bad comments. Breakfast was also simple and good. Not so many shops around the hotel but quiet and good lovation near the center of Hanoi.

Second time staying here and definitely not the last one. Choosing it pretty much because the rooms are comfy and the color tone bring out good sleep. In room amenities are second to none, im especially obssed with their shampoo. Location is not that great for business but I can understand why leisure travelers might like it here as it is not far from old town but extremely serene. Suggestions: #1 breakfast selections can benefits tremendously from a major expansion. Breakfast quality is decent but the selection is very boring. I stayed 4 nights and was pretty much sick of the breakfast there, maybe throw in some more Western options (ever heard of pancakes?) #2 should have paper cup ready for those wanting to bring their coffee to go (staffs will remember me for this 😅). #3 As I had short lunch breaks between my client meetings, I often have lunch in Mojo cafe down the first floor and the price doesnt really match the portion, especially with the croissant brunch that I had. All in all, fix the issues with the culinary offering and this will be the perfect place to stay in Hanoi

If not for the billing mistakes and claims for minibar (which were resolved) it would have been perfect. Don't tell the guest that the water and soft drink is complimentary in a suite when your staff then claims payment for this.

I had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel, which is in a very convenient location close to many of Hanoi’s top tourist attractions. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a wide range of diverse and colorful dishes. What made my stay truly special was the excellent service from a staff member named Duy. He was always attentive, enthusiastic, and very helpful in introducing the various dishes at the breakfast buffet. He supported me and my friends in choosing and getting our food, and he shared a lot of knowledge about Hanoi. Duy recommended many great local dishes, fun places to visit, and even helped me choose a typical Hanoi gift to bring back home for my relatives. Thanks to his thoughtful support, my trip to Vietnam went much more smoothly and became even more memorable. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel and will recommend it to all my friends!

Attractive interior and exterior design but not an international standard hotel. Frustrating lack of information from staff. No breakfast. Very limited food options, for example, cheese croissant from the attached ‘bistro’. The bistro is not operated by the hotel. Chinese restaurant open for dinner only. Most staff did not speak English. Requests were met after a battle to be understood. You will need Google Translate and photos to get your point across. There were a few western restaurants within a 10 minute walk but no information provided about them. Seemingly not well located because no information stating otherwise. Good design for working including a desk in the room and tables in the bistro.

I had a perfect stay at Rey Hotel with absolutely no problems. It’s an incredibly quiet hotel—you can’t hear a thing from other guests or outside, which made for a peaceful and restful experience. The location is a bit removed from the main action in Hanoi, about a 30-minute drive to the city center, so it’s better suited for travelers looking for a calm retreat rather than being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. While the hotel staff don’t speak much English, they were friendly and helpful. It might take a bit of patience to communicate, but it’s manageable. A big plus is that many tour companies offer pick-up directly from the hotel, which makes it a convenient base for exploring the area. Overall, Rey Hotel is a great choice if you’re after peace and quiet, and plan on doing organised tours during your stay.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of very experienced travellers. We were absolutely stunned at the bar not having any food (not even snacks) available for travellers coming in later in the evening following a long flight. The bar, while very pretty (even the staff was nicely dressed) had only fancy drinks to offer us, no beer and no wine. Our server was not helpful...actually looked past us as if we didn't exist. He appeared bored with his job. There was absolutely no cheer or welcome in his tone. I noticed the drinks sort of matched the pretty young ladies in the fancy dresses and packages from designer stores. We ended up going up to our rooms and eating the packages of nuts and beer in the mini bar. How disappointing!! The hotel itself is very nice. But that doesn't do much for weary travelers coming in late in the day.

Location is excellent. Very walkable and convenient. Rey Suite with city view was roomy and comfortable, surprisingly void of street noise at night. Areas for improvement: music from hallways always audible from room, in room safe not attached to anything, weeklong stay and housekeeping never vacuumed our floor, laundry service was sloppy (clothing damp and very wrinkled, including dry cleaning)

Found this hotel online and booked my stay because I’m impressed in the design of the lobby, room interior and layout, as well as the private balcony. Receptionist, restaurant staff, bell men and housekeeping staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel’s coffee shop on the lobby floor is popular among local residents so it will be crowded from time to time - many locals kind-of-teenagers or influencers come to take a photo in front of the hotel, at the hotel’s garden and in the cafe. Breakfast option is limited and not variety, when comparing to other international hotel chain. Still a good local-branded hotel to stay in town and will return if any upcoming visit to Hanoi.

The facility is more than I expected. The room is perfect for two people. I am impressed how nice and clean the facility.

REY hotel was very comfortable for our 5 day stay in Hanoi. The hotel is walkable to all the best eating spots in the Old quarter and the hustle and bustle of the Vietnam streets. The hotel itself is also very modern and clean. Bao Linh -GSA was also very helpful in recommending a delicious traditional Vietnamese restaurant and providing assistance throughout our stay.

EY Hotel Hanoi was the highlight of our trip! The attention to detail, from the chic decor to the thoughtful amenities, made us feel special. The pool area was serene, and the dining options were top-notch. It’s a gem for couples looking for a memorable stay in Hanoi.

Wide rooms, very clean, location is good for my interested places , in total a wonderful hotel breakfast limited for Muslims, but there were fried eggs, butter with jam, green salad and seafood and that is enough. The staff is very helpful and prompt response.

Ellie kindly explained to us when we visited and helped us check in early! We only used this hotel for one day but we were very satisfied. The room condition was clean, the bathroom was clean, etc. Overall, we were satisfied. I think today's trip will be very good. It's a little far from Hoan Kiem Lake, but the location doesn't seem bad :-) I would like to come back again next time I come to Hanoi.

Nice place to spend time with family, staff are all lovely, they are warmly welcoming and supporting you especially Bao Linh who is a receptionist. He is really nice. I've stayed at REY several times before. The hotel is nearby many cool places in HaNoi. Visitors should directly contact to REY hotline to check the availability and get the price.

Very good hotel and new, quiet room, Hoai Linh is very helpful. Good place to stay for the next visit
