L'hôte et le staff étaient très gentils et bienveillants. La piscine est très grande. Nous avons pu louer des vélos électriques et des scooters à l'hôte. Le cadre est verdoyant et calme, idéal pour un séjour sur l'île. L'hôte peut vous arranger les transports et les visites.

Staff were lovely & friendly, extremely helpful too. The setting was in a peaceful area where only the sounds of nature were around you.

Personal muy amable y siempre a disposición

Het is mooi gelegen in de natuur. Gelukkig niet in Cat Ba dorp. Daar wil je echt niet zitten. Zo druk en toeristisch. Er is een groot zwembad. Bij de eigenaar kun je alles regelen.

Doordat het wat afgelegen ligt, moet je voor elke verplaatsing of een taxi of een motorbike nemen. Dit telt wel op en had ik niet zo bedacht van te voren. Het ‘resort’ is wat matig onderhouden. Je ziet dat het betere tijden heeft gekend.

El ambiente está genial, todo es cómodo y el personal es muy amable. Hay opciones de desayuno y en el restaurante siempre hay algo que picar.

Está un poco alejado, aunque si pillas moto son 15 minutos. La limpieza no es lo mejor, entiendo que hayan bichos, pero en nuestra habitación había una araña gigante que vivía debajo de la cama. Si limpias mejor lo puedes evitar.

Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu la chambre que nous avions réservée et avons eu une chambre plus petite et extrêmement humide.

At first glance, the property appeared to be a pleasant place, surrounded by greenery with several families enjoying the shared garden. The staff were also friendly, although their English was somewhat limited.

However, both the outdoor facilities and especially our room felt somewhat dated and could benefit from some maintenance. Especially If you are considering booking the family room, it may be worth noting that it does not yet appear to be fully completed. There were a few openings in the roof that allowed insects, such as cockroaches, to enter, which unfortunately affected our comfort and made for a less restful night.

De rustige ligging en de mooie tuin maakten het een fijne plek om te verblijven. De bedden lagen comfortabel en het diner met lokale gerechten was erg lekker. Ook werd de kamer dagelijks netjes schoongemaakt.

De familiekamer was voor drie personen erg krap en bood weinig opbergruimte. De badkamer is toe aan renovatie en het zwembad voelde niet schoon. Ook vond ik het jammer dat het hotel na vertrek een e-mail stuurde met het verzoek om geen negatieve review achter te laten, waardoor de beoordelingen minder betrouwbaar aanvoelen.

Very nice staff in a beautiful surrounding. A bit away from the buzz of the major town but easily acessable and just what we looked for. Very helpful staff. Nice place to relax and explore Cat Ba.

The accomodation has a lot of cozy places but need some work to bring back to glory.

The breakfast was ok and the pool was enjoyable.

Staff didn't seem friendly. Its a family run buisness, the owners children who work there are constantly on their iphones and they dont speak very good English. The owner seemed to be more attentive to the larger groups staying there. Twice for breakfast i had to ask many times for orange juice and cups. Had to sit outside a few times to eat breakfast as the dining hall is very small.

Beutiful place, kind reception guy that helps with everything, room is clean with great aircon and beautiful mountain placement. You can rent bikes, bicycles and they are helpful with tours and such

It may be priced like a Resort and maybe for Cat Ba's low standards it is - but it is definitely not a resort, and you don't really get a "Bungalow", but small rooms in train arrangement. Food is below average, maintainance needs to be improved, noisy children in the pool afternoon, the location is far from everything. Kind of had to search for people if I need anything, even for breakfast. You need to work to make it work, underwhelming for the price

Beautiful place, away from the busy centre, Tran is very beautiful and helps me with lots of things. We will come back and can't wait to see Tran and everyone ☺️😄 If you are a climbers, it's close to most crags not too far from town and it's quieter here. Thank you for helping us and having us. - Phòng sạch sẽ, Bể bơi to, sâu rộng, - Vườn rộng, nhiêu cây, nhiều hoa vô cùng, xem bướm bay, có rất nhiều chim vào khu nay như lạc vào giữa núi rừng để nghe chim hót - không gian sạch sẽ, thoáng mát nhiều góc để chụp ảnh - Đặc biệt nhà hàng đồ ăn tươi, ngon, chị chủ cẩn thận, và yêu nghề, nấu ăn đúng bằng cái tâm, nhân viên ở đây cởi mở, không thấy cáu mặc dù chúng tôi gọi mọi thứ vì gia đình có trẻ con nhiều lúc chúng tôi thấy ngai mà họ vẫn tươi cười giúp đỡ. - dịch vụ họ có tour thăm vịnh giá cũng như mọi nơi nhưng được đưa đón tận nơi và trên tàu có rất nhiều người nước ngoài, cơ hội cho các cháu nhà tôi nói tiếng anh, thấy rất vui.

Everything! There were four of us and we would all give this homestay 5 stars. Lovely pool, lovely staff. There was a mix of styles of travel: couples, solos, friends and families. There is a restaurant, bar and scooter rental- what else do you need?!

I wish the pool was colder bc it was SOO hot outside, but that is really not possible😅 And we still used it at all times of the day!

Beautiful location, remote and peaceful and relaxing. Taxi from there to cat ba town was only 150 renting scooters was easy and another 150. Mini bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced, staff were kind and friendly and it had a very family vibe. Food was brilliant especially with us being veggies. The tofu was amazing. It's certainly somewhere to go where you want to disconnect from the world. WiFi was perfect too and pool was nice! Good changes in depth for those of you who are short and cannot swim well like me! Perfect for what we were looking for! Beds are really comfy and clean towels daily!

Organisation von Touren oder Transfer , Hilfsbereitschaft, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, das Team vom Papillon Garden ist super! Die Lage ist prima, wenn man auch mal ab vom Trubel am Pool entspannen möchte. Mit dem günstigen Rollerverleih vor Ort, ist man schnell in der City. Herzlichen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Không gian rất yên tĩnh để nghỉ dưỡng, chủ nhà và nhân viên thân thiện, đặc biệt là chị Đượm, chị chủ Lan Anh và bố của chị Lan Anh, hỗ trợ gia đình mình: đổi phòng to hơn để nhà mình được nghỉ ngơi thoải mái, bế con giúp mình khi mình ăn, tư vấn chỗ mua hải sản giá bình dân, hỗ trợ chế biến hải sản tươi ngon. Ngoài ra, vườn rộng để đi dạo quanh vườn. bể bơi ít mùi, view núi, cây xanh bao quanh. Rất đáng để nghỉ ở đây. Rất may là mình không ở dưới thị trấn ồn ào.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement, le cadre est très agréable, en pleine nature et la piscine est très bien pour se détendre. Il faut avoir à l’esprit que le logement est assez éloigné de tout, et qu’il vous faudra prendre un taxi ou louer un scooter pour vous déplacer. Le taxi est assez onéreux (150 000 par trajet), et la location de scooter est à 150 000 par jour. Nous avons loué directement un scooter sur place, ils ne sont pas d’une première jeunesse, mais ça fait l’affaire pour une ou deux journée. Les rétroviseurs et les freins n’étaient pas très fonctionnel sur le notre. La chambre était confortable, mais la salle de bain n’était pas très propre, il y avais encore du sable et des saletés des personnes précédentes. Nos toilettes étaient bouchés mais le personnel a fait le nécessaire. Et on a été envahi de fourmis et d’insectes volants ce qui est un peu désagréable mais c’est les risques d’être dans la nature. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, peut-être ça serait bien de pouvoir le prendre jusqu’à 9h30 ou 10h car la fin de service à 9h est un peu tôt quand on est en vacances. Le personnel est agréable, la personne qui parle français nous a bien accueilli et nous demande régulièrement si tout va bien. Malgré quelques petits ajustements, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

La chambre n’était pas propre. Nous ne comprenons pas l’engouement autour de cet homestay. La chambre était extrêmement humide, le sol est resté mouillé tout au long de notre séjour, pareil pour la salle de bain. L’odeur était mauvaise. Cela ne valait clairement pas son prix. La nourriture n’était pas très bonne non plus.

Hôtel très bien situé, on se croirait dans la Jungle... Un havre de paix...( J'y suis resté 10 nuits ) Personnel très serviable, disponible, à l'écoute, petit déjeuner correct, sans plus, la nourriture est très bonne, les plats sont copieux. Si je dois retourner à Cat ba, c'est bien cet hôtel que je choisirai. Merci pour votre accueil.

L'équipement de la chambre : il faudrait une table de chevet et surtout un placard pour renger nos affaires.

Nice vibe to the hotel, helpful staff and great breakfast. Didn’t end up using the pool but it looked lovely! Nice location it’s very peaceful. The town is near enough, a short grab ride or scooter away. We hired a scooter and explored the national park which is 15 mins from the hotel, the roads are nice and open with very little traffic. I also recommend booking a boat tour to Ha Long Bay through the hotel, it was really great!

Schöner Garten, sehr freundliches Personal, das sich aufrichtig bemüht seine Gäste zu unterstützen und gute Lösungen zu finden. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut.

Die Zimmer waren uns zu einfach und nicht schön bzw zu simpel eingerichtet. Außerdem waren viele Zimmer mit dunklen Holzwänden und nur einem kleinen Fenster. Der Swimmingpool war leider auch nicht sehr einladend.

The space was gorgeous & full of beautiful flowers and cozy places to hangout, eat, sit by the pool. Food & service was great. Very relaxing and wonderful experience here. The manager was incredibly helpful, he went above & beyond to ensure we made it to our Ha Long Bay tour after a location mix up on my end.

Le jardin fleuri et la piscine sont les atouts majeurs de ce resort. Il est situé le long d'une petite route peu fréquentée à l'écart de la ville.

Un moyen de déplacement individuel est absolument nécessaire. Heureusement l'établissement propose des cyclomoteurs à la location.

Bedsheets could be cleaner

Wir waren zufrieden und sehr dankbar, dass sie meine Kopfhörer gefunden haben, die ich am Abend im Garten des Restaurants verloren hatte. Beide Abendessen dort waren lecker, das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war nicht groß, aber ausreichend, das Bad war allerdings sehr klein.

C’est calme, éloigné de la ville et c’est là l’inconvénient.

La beauté des lieux, les extérieurs sont parfaits ! La literie a été très confortable ! Le petit déjeuner est très bon ! A noter quand même que le logement est un peu excentré mais le logement propose une location de scooter pour 3 fois rien !

Die Lage liegt entfernt von den größeren Siedlungen auf Cat Ba, daher ist es angenehm ruhig. Das Personal ist super in jeder Hinsicht! Die Preise für die Roller sind mehr als fair. Der Pool ist größentechnisch vollkommend ausreichend.

Es wird um 6:45 eine Durchsage von einem naheliegend Lautsprecher abgespielt, inklusive einem Lied. Zusätzlich gibt es viele Hähne die in der Gegend krähen. Also nicht für Langschläfer.

Good location away from the main town, on a quietish side road. There was a funeral next door when we arrived which was a bit noisy, but that wasn't the resort's fault. Uncle and the rest of the staff were very helpful and he dropped us at the main road for our bus pickup when we left. Amazingly he managed to ferry us and all our luggage on a motorbike (with several trips, but it was only a few hundred metres!). The onsite restaurant had an excellent selection of evening meals, which is ideal as there is nowhere else within walking distance. We also hired a motorbike from the resort which was quick and easy, which you really need to get around the island.

Swimming pool didn't look very clean, although being February it was a bit cold for a swim anyway. Bathroom was rather small and there was a faint smell of sewage (which is not uncommon in Asia).

Il faudrait être très difficile

Situé dans la forêt, cet hôtel est très calme. Le personnel a toujours su nous renseigner et nous aider. La chambre est très propre. Location des scooters sur place. Les hôtes vous aideront à organiser vos sorties sur la baie. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont corrects.
