Spacious modern room with everything one could need. Comfortable bed and pillows. Well appointed bathroom. Wonderful host was very accomodating and helpful and kind.

Really comfortable studio in a quiet laneway just outside the old town - a short bike ride or easy ten minute walk to the riverside. The unit was well equipped with a kitchenette, fridge, and a small dining counter / table. There’s a small workspace in one corner and the wifi worked well throughout our stay. Plenty of space to store and hang clothes, bed was very comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was large and well appointed. Communication with Phuong was super easy, and she was always quick to respond to any questions we had via WhatsApp. She also kindly helped us with renting bicycles during our stay and organising drinking water in 50Lt bottles.

Alles war super! Ich habe mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Bett war richtig bequem, die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das WLAN hat ebenfalls super funktioniert, es ist nur einmal ausgefallen, aber die Gastgeber haben sich auf Nachfrage rasch darum gekümmert. Es war richtig ruhig und ich konnte ungestört arbeiten. Ich kann diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Das Bad ist nur über den privaten Balkon erreichbar, was manchmal etwas nervig war. Im Großen und Ganzen aber kein Problem, dafür war das Bad wirklich sehr geräumig!

The staff was friendly and helpful. I had to leave Hoi An early because of work and they were very fair with me concerning the bill.

The room was a bit rundown and could use some paint. There was a dog barking all night. The room was too hot even with the AC and a fan going all night.

Location is within walking distance to cafes, and shops. The apartment is well appointed with everything needed for a long stay. Large shower with great hot water is a plus. Host is very kind and attentive.

Nothing to do with the accommodations, but there was nearby road construction, but that is very temporary.

Eine tolle ruhige und sehr schöne Unterkunft fussläufig zur Altstadt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Bett die Kissen waren angenehm weich und komfortabel. Ich würde diese Unterkunft erneut buchen 🙏😘Preis Leistung super !!!

Lovely, clean property in a great location near old town. Room was big and spacious and the host was brilliant helping us to rent a scooter and answer any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here!

There is a bit of noise in the early hours of the morning so if you’re a light sleeper there’s a possibility it could wake you up.

Sehr gemütliches Appartement etwa 10–15 Minuten zu Fuß von der Altstadt entfernt. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig am Ende einer kleinen Sackgasse, sodass man dem Trubel gut entkommen kann. Die Ausstattung ist gut, inklusive Küche (nur die Pfannen funktionieren leider nicht mit der Induktionsplatte 😄). Wir durften die Waschmaschine kostenlos benutzen und das Bett war sehr bequem. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Familie, die uns herzlich empfangen hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

I loved my stay, I stayed for a week and everything went well! It's a spacious and extremely calm and quiet place, great for relaxing!!!! At the same time, you're just a few minutes' walk from the city center. The hostess helped us and was always very available with everything we asked for! It was also well-equipped! I wish I could have stayed longer, it's truly a great place, I recommend it.

Peace + quiet down a small street and dead end and still close to everything. Look out onto paddocks. Lovely garden.

Căn phòng gọn gàng, sạch sẽ với đầy đủ dụng cụ nhà bếp, nhà vệ sinh rộng với vòi sen là riêng tư và khép kín. Ngoài ra bạn có thể thuê xe máy ở đó để tham quan xung quanh thành phố. Cách phố cổ tầm 1km, không khí mát mẻ và yên tĩnh Chăc chắn mình sẽ quay lại đây 😊

Очень милая хозяйка.

С 4х утра орут петухи, они живут прям у хозяев дома и окна выходят на их клетку, очень мешает спать. За 3 недели ни разу не выспались . Было не очень чисто, надо хорошо вымыть вытяжку и холодильник и станет сильно лучше. Вытяжка вся жирная, пришлось всю ее мыть.

Schöne Unterkunft, an ein paar Stellen etwas kahl an den Wänden, aber dennoch vollkommen in Ordnung für ein paar Nächte. Alles top!

1 bedroom apartment. Room 5. Large and felt like home. House located on a quiet street (outside the flood zone) with three grocery stores within walking distance. Old town is 1 km away and split between walking and using a taxi. Loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings. Private entrance which i like. There are also fish on the ground level. Quiet and a nice change from the busy tourist areas. Hosts were amazing and attentative.

Facilities were clean and beautiful, close to everything, and host intentive and kind.

There was more than enough space. It was clean and the host was super friendly. Its a quiet place and still close enough to the old town. We vould book tours over the host witha discount and rented a bike and did laundry there. Recommend this homestay 100%

Super clean and quiet place! The owner Phuong is the sweetest host ever, she made me feel like family from the first moment and took very good care of me. The location is very convenient only 10 minutes from the centre and they provided me with a free bicycle. They do rent motorbikes in great condition for cheaper than the price in the rental stores. Every time I asked for anything Phuong answered me in less than a minute. Away from all the noise of the old quarter but still close to the center. Definitely the best stay in Hoi An.

Nothing! It’s the perfect place!

We had a great stay at Homeland Villa Hoi An. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very, very spacious. More than enough closets and cupboards to store your clothes and other belongings. The bathroom is also very spacious, with a (hot!) shower with a proper shower screen. It was so nice to be able to take a shower without spraying the whole bathroom floor! The rooms have a kitchen counter with an electric stove and an electric water boiler. We didn't use it to cook but it was nice to be able to prepare a cup of morning coffee. Our hostess was very friendly & very helpful and her English is good. She doesn't live in the homestay herself - her family does - but she was always reachable via WhatsApp and ready to come by when necessary. Visiting Hoi An was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam as was Homeland Villa Hoi An.

The homestay doesn't offer breakfast. Hoi An has more than enough restaurants that do, but it's slightly inconvenient when you have to leave early, for example for an organized tour in the morning.

This was the perfect stay for me during my time in Hoi An! The room looked exactly like the photos and was clean and spacious, having everything I needed. It's a peaceful location but also just a short walk away from the old town. The host was incredibly kind and sweet! She helped me with anything I needed and answered any questions I had, along with helping me book some day trips around Hoi An. I love their dog too! It exceeded my expectations and I hope one day I can come back and stay here again!

Everything! Great location, quiet residential street, easy walk/cycle to both the old town and the beach, free bike available at the property. Large, high ceilings in the living/kitchen/bedroom area along with great a/c provided a very cool, comfortable, spacious relaxing/sleeping environment. Super comfy bed - had my best nights sleep yet on my 6 month travel! Super clean, all facilities I needed for 7 night stay including use of washing machine. Incredibly helpful host - organised tours/ tips on HoiAn/onward travel - such a lovely, welcoming lady! I needed some chilled downtime and Homeland Villa HoiAn enabled me to relax and recharge while enjoying all the HouAn had to offer. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

– The host brought construction workers into the house. They wore and damaged my shoes. I ignored it the first time, but the second time they destroyed another pair. I messaged the host — she ignored it and said the shoes got dirty by themselves. That deeply upset me. She defended the workers instead of the guest. It felt like guests are just money to her “I don't care about your shoes, I'll find other guests.” – Loud construction — they drill walls early in the morning. – Neighbors drink and throw loud parties every other day. – Same neighbors play loud music every morning while working outside — they say they can't work without music. – 160 meters away there's a karaoke bar; music is so loud it makes windows shake. – A 90-year-old grandma in the house constantly watches you. I couldn’t even inspect a parcel without her staring over me. – The host family watches loud TV at 2 AM or 5 AM. Dancing and stomping near the door every 10 minutes. – They invite neighbors and party on the first floor. – No soundproofing — I never slept properly. Their day starts at 7 AM, so does yours. – Taxis refuse to enter the alley. – Ants are everywhere — in empty plates, in the kettle, even on the toilet. Before sitting, you need to wipe them off. Ants might crawl into the dishes from the toilet. – Sometimes the power goes out. – Anyone can enter the house freely — no one controls the entrance. – The bathroom light leaks unknown water while powered. – Geckos in the room, dogs in the house.

We had a really comfortable three days in this pleasant home. The host couldn’t have been any more accommodating and warm. She greeted us with some fruit. She helped us with an affordable taxi from our precious location. We were able to check in an hour earlier. She was very friendly and generous the whole time, and she made a point of being contactable for any issues. She would also respond back quickly. The home is lovely to stay in. Due to very bad rain, we were bound to our room more than we would usually be, and it was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also pleasant (not a wet room). You feel like you are in the country side, despite being only a short walk away from shops/restaurants. You can even hear chickens in the garden outside. We were given some complimentary bananas from the nearby gardens, which was a very thoughtful touch. We would have loved the experience of visiting during nicer weather so we could have benefited from the outside terrace area. This is by far the best value in money we have spent for any accommodation so far in Vietnam.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in Vietnam! The owner is the sweetest lady. She can help you with anything you need. She’s a great resource for information and can set up very affordable tours for you. The home itself is wonderful and in a great location.

The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean! The private entrance was a great bonus (just note that there are only stairs — something to keep in mind if you have heavy luggage). The villa is tucked away at the end of a quiet little alley, which I personally liked — peaceful, but you’ll need to drive to reach the old town or beach area. The staff is super nice - They cleaned the place every two days and even changed the sheets - a good & soft sheet makes a big difference, so shoutout for that! I also appreciated that they let me refill my large bottles with drinking water to cut down on plastic. I paid for it at the end of my stay.

One thing that could be improved: there were ants in both the kitchen and bedroom. Also, the chickens in the backyard can get a bit noisy during the day — it didn’t bother me much since I love animals, but worth mentioning!

I had a great time staying at Nguyen’s place! The location was perfect, in a peaceful alley with a village vibe, where chickens clucking in the background. Just a 20-minute walk to the Old Town. The room was cozy and quiet, with a relatively comfortable workspace. There was also a washing machine available for guests to use, and even a yoga mat that I could use - such thoughtful touches! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the dogs were absolutely adorable, especially the Akita. They also offered us bicycles, which was a lovely bonus, and the room was cleaned every three days. Nguyen was super responsive on WhatsApp and always kind and helpful. When I arrived, the AC in my room wasn’t working, but they had it fixed the very next day - really appreciated their quick response. Overall, this was a truly enjoyable stay. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxing, and well-located place in Hoi An. I’d love to come back someday.

A small downside - the desk chair couldn’t be adjusted in height

A very friendly, family run property. We often saw the family in the shared kitchen making meals together. We were always greeted with a smile. Myself and my boyfriend worked remotely from this property and it was fantastic. WiFi was always great. Our room was big, light and modern which we really enjoyed. We could do our laundry whenever we needed to, detergent provided. They were open to help with anything- we even wanted two blankets so we didn’t have to share when we both got sunburnt and they provided this. Cleaning was frequent and this included bedding change which was lovely. You could walk into the old town in 20 mins but with bars/ restaurants on the way to there also. They had cute puppies ! We checked out earlier than we planned, they adapted the booking and were so helpful and refunded us even though we said not to worry about the two nights. It’s a great place to stay longterm- we loved it!

There are two notes- we didn’t mind these at all but might be worth bearing in mind. - the cleaning was always to a lovely standard, but there was some signs that it wasn’t often deeply cleaned (we didn’t expect that during our stay, but some marks like rings around the sink etc.) - you had to be careful if you spilled anything on the kitchen surface as ants would come very quickly and in a big quantity. We just avoided this to avoid the ants!

I stayed for a month and enjoyed my time there. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is very spacious. I enjoyed the location of the homestay as well because it's out of the tourist area. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. The service was exceptional. They came and cleaned every third day and were always responsive when I messaged them.

Located in the family home so we got to meet the entire family. We were warmly welcomed even though we arrived 4 hours after the arrival time we had indicated. The room was large, pretty with a very large bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bed. The inn is about about a 20 minute walk from downtown so you avoid all the noise and busyness of the other tourists

Our room was one flight up and there is no elevator. However, this may not be an issue for younger people or those with less luggage

The hostess Nguyen is amazing. So pleasant and able to organize anything you want to go and see or do. She made us feel very welcome and they use WhatsApp to connect to you directly and you can message them with any questions while you are there.

Clean and tidy room. Very spacious , with a beautiful bathroom. Beautiful decoration .We totally recommend it. Gentle people and the lady in reception is quite qualified in English .

Our two-week stay at this top-floor apartment in Hoi An was absolutely delightful. The apartment itself was a lovely space, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and convenient stay. It featured a spacious room with efficient air conditioning and fans, which was perfect for the climate. The restroom was particularly impressive, offering modern comforts in a stylish setting. The apartment also provided a conducive work environment with a sturdy table and chair, making it easy to work remotely during our visit. What truly enhanced our experience was the incredible hospitality provided by the lady at the reception. She was exceptionally kind and helpful, assisting us with tour recommendations and effortlessly arranging a scooter rental for us. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Hoi An. It's not just the facilities that make it great, but the warm hospitality that makes you feel right at home.

I liked the place a lot. It's quiet and relaxed. I would definitely come back. Guests are provided with a free bike to explore the old town or you can just grab something to drink from winmart 🙂

Wow, it was so good time at new, well maintain villa 👌 great size of the room, high ceilings make it bright and spacious new, great furniture and very comfy bed plants in the room 😍 small kitchen with big fridge, plates , where you can cook simple food huge bathroom with good quality equipment Wi-fi was strong and stable Location is not perfect, but close to the center ( 15 min walk), on a quiet street ( it’s really quiet - in the room you can feel optimal privacy ). I used bicycle every morning and went to the An Bang Beach ( around 12-15 min ) Lovely staff and managers - always ready to help and always in touch

Big comfortable bed, very spacious and good kitchen area. We appreciated being able to use the bikes otherwise it was a decent ten minute walk into old Hoi An.

Hot water in the kitchen sink was non existent. And had to flick a switch for the hot water in the shower. Toilet and shower very close together so the bathroom constantly wet.

Located in a peaceful setting, not directly in Ancient Town but a short 15 min walk, helpful staff - assisted with taxi to airport and motorbike rental, yoga space, kitchenette, large bedroom, nice bathroom (located separately on balcony of room), free washer, great value for all that is included

Very small things -- Kitchenette did not have basic ingredients (salt/pepper/oil), no hand towel in kitchen, under the bed was really dusty- dropped something and had to retrieve it from under the bed - otherwise everything else was really clean

Location was on a no through road so quiet……no noise! The up stairs apartment had lovely view of the large pond and gardens. The apartment was well appointed, high ceilings and comfortable interior. Staff excellent.

This apartment was very open and bright, in a lovely Vietnamese style house not far from the ancient town of Hoi An (placed down a quiet street with local families as neighbours). The staff were lovely and eager to assist, they made me feel very much at home. This homestay is made up of three apartments with a communal lobby/seating area and kitchen, all very clean and a nice place to spend time.

Brand new and very sweet hotel with best service, really clean and comfortable beds. The host were exceptional and very professional. Overall, a great stay that was really worth the price. Would highly recommend, I will definitely be back here in the next time

Very much enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable, good facilities and hosts that care about there customers. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Plus the bikes that were free to use were lovely aswell:)
