Large, comfortable, clean room with great views of the city. My husband and I also liked the projector! Very close to the train station. I would happily recommend.staying here.

Great sized room for a family of four. The hotel was conveniently located just a short walk from Kunming North Railway. Lots of variety at the inclusive breakfast.

The wash basin being separated from the bathroom felt a bit odd.

The rooms were huge with projector, beanbag and sofa. The view was stunning with my room onlooking the city. Breakfast was a huge spread and nice.

It will be much better if the menu for breakfast changes everyday.

Very modern hotel. The place was spotless. Breakfast was very good. The room was very spacious and clean. Great view from the room on the 29th floor. Very close to one of the railroad stations.

The lifts were small and often very crowded as they were shared with multiple different hotels and particularly worse with mealtime delivery drivers.

ทางเข้าห้องน้ำที่มีต่างระดับ และเป็นสีเดียวกับพื้นห้องน้ำ ทำให้อาจจะสะดุ้งหกล้มได้ โดยเฉพาะผู้สูงอายุที่สายตาไม่ค่อยดี อยากให้ทำสีที่ตัดกัน แต่เด่นชัดเพื่อช่วยในการมองเห็นได้ง่ายขึ้น

Getting on and off carvis quite inconvenient with luggages.

It was all perfectly fine. Comfortable bed, very good shower. We didn't have any problems with the lifts. Staff were helpful (no English, but very willing to use translation apps). Easy 10 minute walk from the railway station.

Breakfast included more western food than other hotels we've stayed in China, but could have had more fruit, real juice, better cereals (it was just Special K and Cocoa pops), and i had to ask for cold milk. But we were happy.

Big, spacious rooms. Good view of the city. The hotel is just next to the railway station, we can walk to it in 10 mins.

Noise, the hotel is next to major roads. Other hotels also occupy the same building, with only 4 lifts available, we have to wait for quite a long time to get into our lifts. Breakfast was boring.

Leider reden die wenigsten englisch. Aber mit Hilfe vom Handy gelingt es einigermassen zu kommunizieren.

Die Qualität des Zimmers ist sehr gut. Viel Platz und eine sehr starke Dusche. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Kissen waren sehr sauber. Wir haben jeden Tag 4 Flaschen Wasser bekommen. Der Zimmerservice war sehr gut. Die Aussicht auf die anderen über 30 stöckigen Wohnhäuser hat seinen eigenen Charme. Auch das Fenster konnte ein bisschen geöffnet werden. Die Metro ist nur durch einen grösseren Umweg neben dem Bahnhof Kunming zu erreichen.

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der fehlende Kühlschrank. Dies ist eigentlich bei einem solchen Appartement könnte man dies erwarten

Grosse, sehr moderne Zimmer. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Kostenloser Wäscheservice; die gereinigte Wäsche war 2 Stunden später schon wieder im Zimmer. Sehr vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Alles ist sehr frisch.

Lovely room either comfortable beds and a great view of the city.

It was mostly great and we would return. Although it’s close to the station, google maps put it the wrong location and the booking directions were confusing too. We were staying overnight and didn’t have much time to find any veggie food. As the hotel had no food options, we ate from the local 7-11. It’d be great if there more info on good dining options in the area.

Spacious clean and comfortable room just 10 minutes walk from Kunming main railway station. Excellent breakfast, mainly Chinese but with cereals, milk and ample coffee available. Helpful staff and good WiFI.

Very near to North Entrance of the train station and have a lot of food options and convenience. However since its near, the area can be a little congested due to too many cars.

The lift area was shabby and confusing. It seemed to serve other accommodation and a shop.

This hotel is located within a large building that houses several different hotel brands on separate floors. Our room, on the 27th floor, was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything worked perfectly. In addition to the usual amenities like a hairdryer and tea/coffee-making facilities, the room also included a useful adapter plug for charging devices, as well as a projector-style TV, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The gym was basic but spacious enough, and the free laundry room was a particularly welcome feature for us as travellers. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it a convenient location. The train station is also just a 7-minute walk away. We had planned to visit the Stone Forest but didn’t realise it requires a full day, so it’s worth factoring that in. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

Paper thin walls. Can hear kid screaming next door. Coffee machine in dining room during breakfast does not function properly, too slow for one cup of cappuccino.

Tolle, große Zimmer. Sauber. Gute Lage in der Innenstadt. Sichere Gegend. Supermärkte (7eleven) und diverse Restaurants direkt in der Straße und der Umgebung. Super Aussicht von den oberen Stockwerken.

Sehr laut von draußen. (Auch in den oberen Stockwerken, da die Straße, in der das Hotel liegt, rund um die Uhr extrem stark befahren ist und die Fenster überhaupt keinen Schallschutz bieten. Schalldämmende Fenster wären schön.) Die Toilettenspülung hat sehr schlecht funktioniert. (Auch ohne Papier in die Toilette zu werfen, was sehr störend war.)

1. All the staff, including the front desk, the dining facility, and the cleaning lady, are EXCELLENT. They aim to offer the best customer services. Sunny at the front desk was very enthusiastic to provide the details of the tourist attractions and the transportation options to help me plan out my 5-day visit. 红莲, the service assistant on the 23rd floor, is always pleasant to greet you and very helpful when you need stuff. 2. The location is super CONVENIENT to the train station and to the tour bus parking lot for all day trips. If you could walk 2.5km, the popular Shuangqiao Night Market is a good place for dinner and shopping. If you could ride an electric scooter/moped, Daguan Zhuanxin Farmers' Market (大观篆新农贸市场) and Green Lake Park are about 10 minute away. 3. The rooms are BIG, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Sunny kindly arranged for our two rooms right next to each other. We always look forward to returning to the rooms after a productive and fun day roaming in Kunming. 4. The breakfast -- All varieties of food selections for everyone. The staff constantly refilled the food and drinks. We stuffed ourselves with so much healthy delicious food that we simply skipped lunch.

There are multiple Ramada hotels in Kunming. Please be specific on Ramada ENCORE. When my cousin took a Didi ride, the driver took him to a different Ramada hotel.

The location near the railway station was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Plentiful and tasty breakfast.

The two things I can think of are improving the lift which is slow and takes a lot of time and having instructions in English for the self-service laundry. These would be helpful for guests.

Хороший отель неподалеку от железнодорожного вокзала - буквально 10 мин. пешком. Номер хороший, отель предоставляет небольшие комплименты. Поэтому если нужно переночевать у вокзала и ехать дальше, то вполне рекомендую.

До центра города, основных достопримечательностей далековато. И очень уж велики щели у двери, что в туалет ведет. Непривычно и весьма смущает.

Very friendly welcome from the staff members. They gave me a free room upgrade to a very high floor which was a welcome addition after a long flight from the UK. The room was so spacious, clean and had a massive projector which you could connect your laptop too with a hdmi!

To be honest it is the best place we have ever been.

Exactly as advertised. As of Jan 2026, the hotel and its facilities were relatively new. There's even a dedicated non-smoking floor (even though a refundable RMB100 deposit was requested, in case you smoke at a non-smoking floor/room). Room was clean, housekeeping and front desk were friendly and willing to assist, breakfast was good, laundry facilities were maintained every morning. Admittedly, we spoke Mandarin Chinese, so our experience cannot be a good reference point for non-Mandarin speaking foreigners.

The location. Some reviewers loved it for its convenience and access to the high speed train station. However, there is a perpetual traffic jam in front of the hotel as a result. Therefore, if you hail a ride, be prepared to be stuck in the jam for about 10 min, and potentially longer during peak hours / weekends. The nearest mrt station is about 12 min walk away though, and faster if you are daring enough to bike there. Also, the hotel does not have an off loading area. If you are travelling with either a heavy luggage or several pieces of luggage, you might want to be mindful of this. You'll be getting on / off the cab right along the road as other cars pile up behind you waiting for you. If you're used to this (which is actually rather common in China), then you'll be fine. If it is your first time, you might find it stressful.

There are variety of food for breakfast. They are all local dishes. We can have a good meal before the starts of the day for our sight seeing. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
