Para los canarios que vamos de fin de semana ha dejado de ser una buena opción, ya que entras el sábado a las 14.00 y al día siguiente tienes qie marcharte a las 12.00 sin opción a quedarte en la piscina el domingo, como ocurría antes. Para mí que son tengo ese tiempo libre, este hotel dejó de ser una opción viable

The unique package isn’t worth the money, the value it gives is very minimal. I even mentioned in the hotel that I prefer to cancel it in the middle of the trip, but they asked me to contact booking as they are paying fees and they can’t help me directly.

Nothing really, we expected much more considering how much we were paying.

On our first day after breakfast, my family and I searched throughout the hotel for four available sunbeds but were unable to find any. We therefore asked a member of hotel staff for assistance. The member of staff directed us to the Unique Pool and personally placed us on four sunbeds where the hotel’s notices had already been left because they had been reserved with towels but apparently unused for well over an hour. While my husband and children were in the pool, the guest approached me and accused me of taking her sunbeds. Despite my explaining that a member of hotel staff had specifically placed us there, she continued shouting at me aggressively for approximately ten minutes and at one point threw her purse onto the sunbed beside me in an attempt to reclaim it. What concerns me particularly is that, despite the confrontation being loud and prolonged, no member of staff intervened to de-escalate the situation or check on my wellbeing afterwards. Several guests who witnessed the incident subsequently told hotel staff, including two managers and the member of staff responsible for the sunbeds, that they had witnessed similar confrontations involving the same guest during previous days. Given this background, we were extremely surprised that, following the incident and after management had been made aware of what had happened, the same guest was subsequently placed directly behind our family. This made an already uncomfortable situation considerably worse and left us feeling that the seriousness of what had happened had not been recognised. We understand that a hotel cannot control the behaviour of every individual guest. Our complaint is therefore not simply about the behaviour of another guest.

L’établissement est magnifique, les jardins sont très bien entretenus, les piscines sont superbes et le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Malheureusement, notre expérience concernant un objet personnel oublié dans la chambre a été très décevante. J’ai oublié ma ceinture dans la chambre 3387 et je suis absolument certain de l’avoir laissée dans la chambre. J’ai envoyé 5 ou 6 emails, quasiment un par jour, dès le lendemain de notre départ, et j’ai également contacté le service client à plusieurs reprises par téléphone. Malgré toutes ces démarches, je n’ai reçu aucun véritable suivi pendant plusieurs jours. Finalement, après de nombreuses relances, on m’a simplement répondu que la ceinture n’avait pas été enregistrée parmi les objets trouvés. Je peux comprendre qu’un hôtel ne retrouve pas un objet, mais lorsque le client est certain de l’avoir oublié dans la chambre et que celui-ci n’apparaît finalement nulle part dans les objets trouvés, cela soulève forcément des questions sur ce qui a pu se passer. Il est possible que quelqu’un l’ait prise, je ne peux évidemment pas l’affirmer, mais c’est précisément pour cela que j’attendais de l’hôtel une vraie vérification et surtout un suivi beaucoup plus sérieux. C’est vraiment dommage, car tout le reste de notre séjour était excellent. Pour un resort 5 étoiles, le service client lorsqu’un problème survient doit être beaucoup plus réactif et attentif.

Hay más gente que tumbonas. Están muy pegadas y es difícil acceder a ellas o moverte para ponerte al sol o la sombra. Por las mañanas tienen una política para quitar las toallas a los que no están en las tumbonas por un tiempo. Si dejas tus pertenencias personales también te las quitan. No lo veo mal pero deberían depurar el sistema puesto que a mí me las quitaron en una ocasión en la que no estuve por 15 minutos y en cambio los que cogieron mi sitio no estuvieron por horas y no se las quitaron.

Fortunately, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay, and the hotel itself deserves much of the credit for that. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was fantastic. Most importantly, the hotel is actually even better in person than it appears in the photos. It is a true five-star property, designed with maximum guest comfort in mind. The level of service is consistently high throughout the hotel, the pools are exceptionally clean and well maintained, the atmosphere is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the housekeeping service is of a very high standard. The buffet offers a wide and delicious selection of food, with the exception of the Italian cuisine, which I personally found less impressive. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I would like to share a few recommendations and minor inconveniences that I experienced during my stay. However, I want to emphasize that none of these had a negative impact on my overall experience or prevented me from having a wonderful holiday. These are simply suggestions from a very satisfied guest who believes that the hotel has the potential to further improve these areas and become truly exceptional in every aspect. My assistant contacted the hotel to ask about the possibility of a room upgrade, but unfortunately we did not receive any response by email. When we are talking about a five-star hotel, prompt communication is an important part of the overall service standard. The reservation was originally made for one person, and we later needed to add a second guest to the room. I asked the hotel to confirm the additional charge, but it took approximately three days to receive this information, which I believe is too long for such a straightforward request. The gym was also quite hot, and the air-conditioning did not seem to work effectively. There is a water dispenser in the gym, but it does not provide cold water. It appears to be quite old and would benefit from being replaced. The hotel would also benefit from some renovation. That said, despite showing some signs of age, the property is still very well maintained, clean, and clearly looked after with care.

Wunderschöne Anlage und alles sehr gepflegt

Beim Frühstück wird sofort abgeräumt das finde ich nicht so gut, man sollte schon Zeit haben um seinen Teller leer essen zu können.

Un hotel realmente bonito y cuidado en los detalles. Tiene una buena decoración, creando una ambiente agradable desde que entras. Las piscinas son fantásticas y los jardines bien diseñados y cuidados, haciendo que el entorno sea especialmente agradable. También merece una mención especial el trato del personal, muy amable, atento y profesional en todo momento. Además, la limpieza de las instalaciones es impecable. Muy buena gestión de los servicios a pesar de lo grande del hotel. En conjunto, una estancia muy agradable en un hotel al que apetece volver.

Decoración, jardines, desayuno y sobre todo la amabilidad del personal. Es un hotel divertido lleno de actividades deportivas con monitores muy bien preparados. El gimnasio está muy bien equipado. El Spa necesita que los carteles expliquen más cada sala.

Demasiada música y muy alta. Se oye en todo el hotel. Me gustaría una música más relajante. No me gusta que se deje fumar en zonas que está cerca de la gente y de los niños. Por ejemplo en zonas que están al lado de las piscinas. Algo que no me gustó, aunque sé que es difícil de mantener por la vegetación que tienen los jardines son las cucarachas. Me entró una en la habitación y he encontrado varias por los paseos. Es muy desagradable y es un tema que hay que tratar muy bien. Así tampoco me gustó la arena o caracolillo que existe en algunas piscinas. Es tremendamente incómoda y además van los gatos a hacer sus necesidades y los niños juegan con esa especie de arena, totalmente insalubre.

La palabra que define la estancia en el establecimiento es espectacular. Sin lugar a dudas, lo que más se disfrutó es la variedad de piscinas donde disfrutar en base a lo que te apetezca en cada momento, detalles muy pulidos, acompañados de un entorno natural muy bien cuidado de la mano del personal, así como sus instalaciones.

Por poner alguna pega, hubiera estado mejor un control de hamacas más preciso, ya que hay mucha gente que solo pone la toalla y se va a otros sitios durante X tiempo, fastidiando a los huéspedes que quieren disfrutarlas. Por otro lado, la habitación hubiera estado genial con algunos vasos, así como algún que otro microondas a modo auxiliar.

Hotel is unbelievable, rooms are spotless and probably one of the best hotels anyone can stay in.

Es un lugar mágico, espectacular y muy tranquilo, se respira armonía y relax desde que llegas. El personal es maravilloso, muy atentos, educados y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en todo. Las piscinas son estupendas y tiene el mejor SPA de toda Canarias.

Hay dos aspectos negativos que vimos y sufrimos en las piscinas; uno de ellos tiene que ver con la falta de educación de las personas, poniendo una toalla sobre la hamaca y no estando en el lugar, reservándola todo el día, creo que la Dirección de Hotel debería de imponer medidas sobre eso, por ejemplo que el socorrista retira las toallas de las hamacas donde no hay nadie disfrutando de ellas, así se da opciones a las personas que acceden a la piscina y tienen que dar vueltas por todo el recinto tratando de encontrar una hamaca libre sin la toalla de alguien puesta. Otro aspecto negativo, peligroso y a cambiar urgentemente, en el que la Dirección de Hotel debe tomar medidas urgentes es en el uso de vasos, jarras y copas de cristal en las piscinas, ya no solo en la zona de hamacas, sino en los bordes de las piscinas e incluso dentro de ellas. No sé si la Dirección del Hotel sabe lo que podría ocurrir si se rompe una copa o una jarra de cristal dentro de una piscina y las consecuencias que eso conllevaría para el hotel. Creo que si un hotel de 5***** necesita hacer caja con las consumiciones de alcohol y bebidas en las diferentes piscinas debería de sustituir el cristal por plástico u otro medio análogo que sea el cristal, por el peligro que conlleva la rotura del mismo dentro de una piscina. Priorizar la salud y seguridad de todos los huéspedes ante el consumo (descontrolado en muchos casos) de alcohol dentro de la piscina y en recipientes de cristal.

Phenomenal gardens and pools. Superb interior, really pretty hotel. Both breakfast and dinner had good variation. Room was clean except for insects, also cleaned regularly. Great SPA, although it must be paid extra.

One cockroach in room, one cockroach in the hallway, one cockroach dead in the pool - they probably come from outside but I believe its something you should know. Ant infestation in the room (left a throat pill plastic on the nightstand and it was swarming with ants in less than an hour - mind you we dont keep windows open but they still came). Reception staff a bit disagreeable and resistant (took 3 separate discussions in which they kept saying they cannot solve an issue with our room, requested to talk to manager, they brought someone from guest relations instead and that person solved our issue very professionally in a matter of 1 hour - we avoided asking reception for anything after that). Pool bar staff constantly seemed like they did not enjoy their jobs, drinks were constantly missing advertised ingredients. Pool bar officially open until 18:30 but in reality they stop serving cocktails at 17:30 and are closed by 18:20. Sunbed reservation by people who leave their stuff there and go to breakfast is still a huge problem and not enough is done to counter it. Food is visually great but most of the dishes are bland and seem to be cooked not to delight as many as possible but to avoid upsetting as many as possible - there are some notable exceptions of absolutely delicious dishes. They charge for water at dinner (which I found a bit funny, 5 star hotel but 2.6 EUR for 0.5 liter water bottle at dinner).

Friendly and courteous staff, clean and spacious rooms, good selection of food for breakfast and dinner, numerous pools catering for different types of relaxation and impressive layout/landscaping.

The location is good, with restaurants, shops and everything else you need within easy walking distance. The grounds are genuinely attractive and well kept, and the pools themselves are really good. On appearance alone, it's a hard place to fault.

The wifi was close to unusable throughout our stay, barely enough to load a webpage, let alone stream or work. When we raised it at reception, we were told the hotel was aware of the problem and that technicians would fix it that same day. Nothing changed for the rest of our stay. I then looked back through older reviews and found guests reporting the same issue two years ago, with the hotel giving the same answer: it would be resolved. In 2026, a hotel of this standard not offering functioning wifi is a significant drawback. The pool area is heavily under-dimensioned for the number of guests. To get a sunbed you had to set an alarm for 07:00; by 08:00 every single one was taken. Many were then left unused for hours. When we pointed this out, we were told that staff regularly patrol the pool area to remove towels from unoccupied beds. We never once saw this happen. Breakfast was uninspiring and repetitive, with little variation from day to day.

Absolutamente imposible encontrar una tumbona libre cerca de la piscina en los tres días. La mayoría, ocupadas por toallas solitarias con sus pinzas y algún libro, pero sin presencia de cliente alguno. Tuvimos que amontonar nuestras cosas detrás de unas plantas de las del jardín para darnos un chapuzón rápido. Como si nos hubiésemos saltado al hotel desde fuera sin pagar.

La variedad de piscinas y la accesibilidad. Es un hotel comodisimo si te desplazas en silla de ruedas o similar puedes ir a todos sitios e incluso si no pudieras caminar tambien tiene acceso al agua. En general el personal es muy agradable

Hay un par de personas en el check in que no destacan por su simpatia.... y el servicio de uno de los puestos de la piscina deja mucho de que desear.. parece que no te miran a posta para que no les pidas... además sería interesante ampliar su horario de apertura

La experiencia no pudo ser mejor: la ubicación y las instalaciones resultaron sumamente cómodas y accesibles para caminar con mi madre, permitiéndonos disfrutar sin prisa ni complicaciones.

Sengene var litt harde. Buffeten om kvelden kunne vært roligere med noe bedre utvalg.

Enorme ma nello stesso tempo ogni angolo accogliente, pulitissima, immersa nel verde, piscine stupende, vista eccezionale, la spa meravigliosa (ma su prenotazione e a pagamento, non è mai affollata) camere grandi, letti king size, bar e ristoranti ovunque! Sei in un oasi. Usciti dal resort sei sulla passeggiata lungo mare, con bei negozi e bei locali.

Le spiagge su cui si affaccia belle da vedere ma mi aspettavo un mare più bello, purtroppo essendo molto aperte e di sabbia non hai l’effetto acqua limpida.

The hotel is beautiful but the entertainment was poor , started the same time as dinner so if you finish your dinner at 21.30 you would just get half hour and thats it, the food repetitive, brekfast would take half hour to have an omolette, the chef only had a cooker to make this for a hotel capacity over 1000 people imagine over summer period not a 5 stars service, the receptionist simply ignored our requests , took 2 hours for a housekeeper to come and delivery our requests, it was such an awful experience , this holidays were for my partner bday and just made such an awful experience

Our second time, for a 5* hotel in a 5* location with 5* facilities we would really recommend this hotel for both couples & families. Only downside is the slow service everywhere. Pool bar - now only serving spritz drinks, beers or soft drinks (no cocktails) but still takes far too long for a member of staff to arrive to take any orders. Similarly in the laguna bar, only 1 person taking orders at tables so again a long wait for service and food/drinks. The plaza bar at night is again slow with service. Disappointed they “closed the outside bar” at 11:30pm when the World Cup was still playing. Surely they are losing lots of custom from this??? One thing that definitely needs improving!!! Also, adults only area would be good! Too many kids around the pool bar area. Other than that rooms, etc were perfect. Cleaning great. Breakfast ok but does get repetitive!

Definitely 5 star, great location, lots of pools and areas to relax. Near the beach and lovely walks along the promenade. Staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel and surrounding areas are kept very clean. Highly recommend. Travelled with 3 teenagers, something for everyone. Near Aquapark, definitely worth a trip.

This is a large hotel on the coast with wonderful well kept grounds including several swimming pools including an impressive infinity pool. The hotel consists of a central section and 2 side "wings". For a quiet room go for a room in one of the wings as the central area is where there is evening entertainment. I found the staff extremely helpful and prompt service in and around the bar. The Half Board Restaurant was very busy at certain times and although the food was plentiful it could be difficult to access. However the busy times were advertised so best to avoid. I would not recommend it for a solo traveler but excellent for families with easy access to the beach and promenade.

We booked a week-long stay as "Unique" guests, but the experience was far from unique or premium. Honestly, it was a horrible and exhausting experience. The only good things I can mention are the breakfast and the pools. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants that really help reduce the heat. However, that is where the positives end. The rest of the service was the worst I have ever experienced. It felt like an overpriced three-star hotel completely lacking in quality service. Right from check-in, things went wrong. We never received our welcome drinks, and despite asking repeatedly, reception had no idea what was going on. Eventually, someone else stepped in and gave us a voucher, but the staff at the bar and restaurants didn't know how to redeem it. This was certainly not a premium experience. The housekeeping was equally frustrating. We had to constantly ask for our room to be cleaned, and even then, dirty cups were left unchanged for days. The complimentary water that was supposed to be replenished daily wasn't, meaning we had to ask several times just to get basic drinking water. The same was for the shampoo and shower gel, one has to ask for it (not premium experience) and even then, it is not delivered when asked. Whenever we tried to get help from reception, they were completely useless. Instead of solving issues, they would just say it was "another department's problem" and promise to look into it, but there was never any follow-up. We ended up having to track down other staff members to get things fixed ourselves. To make matters worse, you couldn't even rest in the room. Staff members would knock multiple times a day to check if we needed anything, yet they couldn't actually resolve our issues because they only handled one specific task. The person delivering towels couldn't help with the missing water, once again putting the burden on the guest to figure it out. Even getting information was a hassle. There were activities for kids, but the reception desk had no details about them, forcing us to hunt down yet another department to find out what was going on. The rooms are not isolated enough. We could hear all the music and noise from the nearby property. At best, it feels like a cheap hotel trying to save a penny on water and amenities by making guests tirelessly ask for basic necessities. Overall, it is an overpriced hotel with terrible service, and no one takes responsibility even when you complain. I do not recommend it. Spend your money somewhere else.

Best area, the hotel is amazing: it’s big enough so it doesn’t feel crowded, there are enough restaurants and bars, the food is amazing in the Italian restaurant, there are also kabuki (an amazing sushi restaurant schicht is also recognised bij Michelin) and el chorasko is also excellent. The uniqe staying was completely worth it in my opinion.

I booked this hotel for my husbands 40th after seeing the reviews and pictures online. The positives - the hotel grounds are beautiful as are the pools. The rooms are nice and the cleaners do a great job at doing the rooms even if they have to come back later. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel entertainment, it was ok but nothing special. The location is great and the local restaurants were all very nice. The hotel staff are all very friendly and the hotel itself has a shop where you can get all you need. The negatives- despite the number of pools and the space , we were unable to get a sun lounger on any day !! The rules say no reserving but clearly everyone did , many going down at 7am to do so. We ended up having to pay €160 twice for the vip area just so the kids could swim and have somewhere to sit . The vip package was nice the grounds around it are being used by the local cats and sadly a nice dip in the hot tub is ruined by the smell of cat poo heating up in the sun , which is really unpleasant. The breakfast online looks amazing but unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations.

Fantastic hotel but severely lacking in gluten free options. No GF options in any of the pool bars for lunches and the restaurants had no signage indicating what was safe to eat for evening meal. Breakfast had one station for GF but very limited choice Also Drinks are very expensive and perhaps an all inclusive option would be another way to enjoy the hotel experience. Drinks (cocktails) are pre- made syrup and not fresh as cocktails should be. All in all a beautiful hotel but little things could make it better.

We stayed for 10 days in the Unique section during a family girls trip and had a fantastic experience. The hotel and facilities were excellent but what truly made our stay so memorable was the exceptional service from Zoilo at the Unique pool. Every day, Zoilo greeted us with a warm smile and provided attentive, friendly service. His positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm made a real difference to our holiday and created such a welcoming atmosphere. He is a real credit to the hotel and we would highly recommend staying in the Unique section to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Ein 5-Sterne-Hotel, das den Erwartungen leider nur teilweise gerecht wird. Der Eingangsbereich und die Zufahrt sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Auch der Empfang war positiv – unser Gepäck wurde direkt aufs Zimmer gebracht. Danach wirkt das Hotel jedoch sehr unpersönlich, was vermutlich an seiner Grösse liegt. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und von guter Qualität. Auch das Abendessen im La Toscana und im Kabuki war ausgezeichnet und gehört definitiv zu den Highlights des Aufenthalts. Sehr enttäuschend war hingegen die Situation mit dem Parkplatz. Uns wurde mehrfach mitgeteilt, dass der Parkplatz vor dem Hotel voll sei, obwohl ständig Autos wegfuhren. Trotz mehrmaliger höflicher Nachfrage wurden wir jedes Mal unfreundlich und wenig professionell abgewiesen. Keiner der Mitarbeitenden zeigte Interesse, eine Lösung zu finden oder zumindest die Situation freundlich zu erklären. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist ein solcher Umgang mit Gästen nicht akzeptabel. Ein weiterer grosser Kritikpunkt ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Man hört praktisch jedes Gespräch und jede Tür auf dem Flur. Selbst normale Schritte aus den darüberliegenden Zimmern klingen so laut, als würde jemand mit schweren Schuhen durchs Zimmer laufen. Wer empfindlich schläft, sollte unbedingt Ohropax mitnehmen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das grosse und sehr bequeme Bett. Insgesamt bleibt jedoch der Eindruck, dass das Hotel zwar optisch viel hermacht, beim Service und beim Komfort aber deutliche Schwächen hat. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the amenities were excellent. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Despite resort-wide no smoking policy many guests openly smoked/vaped, and this is not policed by staff, nor is the policy supported by signage. Our room also smelt strongly of smoke on late evening arrival and we were changed to a different room. The majority of loungers (around the pool areas, and on our ground floor room with terrace) have no cushions and quickly become uncomfortable. Loud pop music is broadcast resort-wide until early afternoon; hard to escape. A guest in the neighboring room made a 3 hour Zoom call from his ground floor terrace that was so loud it disturbed other guests within 20 meters. The resort did not attend and observe this until close to the end of the 3 hours despite several calls to reception wherein we were advised someone was on the way. The air conditioning in our room would not cool below 22c which caused loss of sleep over several nights. When we raised this we were told severally that it could not be adjusted lower as it was a resort-wide setting. When my wife started to feel ill due to lack of sleep we attended reception and refused to accept this position; magically a maintenance man attended our room within 30 minutes and adjusted the system from the roof void to enable the temperature to be lowered to 18c. Finally the property is quite remote and does not have any interesting walks around it except for a man made promenade mostly with top tier fashion brand shops and a few lovely restaurants. The coffee machines in the breakfast buffet frequently ran out of decaffeinated coffee.

El personal, aunque muy amable era poco para la cantidad de personas que estábamos en el hotel, pedimos un room service y nunca llegó, cuando llamamos al día siguiente a preguntar porque, sencillamente nos dijeron que solo había una persona para todos los room service, una persona para mas de mil habitaciones!!! También hubo un detalle que nos supo muy mal; unos amigos quisieron enviarnos un detalle sorpresa a la habitación, llegó a nombre de otras personas, llamé a recepción para indicarles que había llegado algo a nombre unas personas que no conocíamos y recogieron el detalle.

Sehr schöne und gute Infrastruktur.

Die Anlage ist riesig. Beim Einchecken hätte ich mir mehr Informationen gewünscht. Man muss sich über alles selber informieren. Das Personal ist nicht sehr zuvorkommend. Die Liegestühle sind für die Anzahl Gäste zu knapp berechnet. Um sich einen guten Liegeplatz zu ergattern, war es zwingend zwischen 9.30 bis 10.00 einen zu sichern. Positiv war, dass gegen die Liegestuhl-Reservierer zwischen 8.00 - 10.00 vorgegangen wurde, in dem die Handtücher entfernt wurden, falls sich niemand auf den Liegestühlen befand.

El personal en general. Me pareció poco profesional. Hostelería mal atendida (creo que por desorganización), se nos llamó la atención, mediante una nota por debajo de la puerta, por algo que no habíamos hecho (habríamos preferido un contacto personal para asegurar si habíamos incurrido en esa falta o no, como así fue). En un room service, la persona que nos traía el servicio irrumpió en la habitación sin esperar a que le abrieramos

We had so many awful experience staying at this hotel - sorry to say but the service is not 5 stars. The staff are very rude, direct and disrespectful. They don't care whether you have a good experience. We were so looking forward to staying here as it looks beautiful from the outside, but the service was awful. The size of the hotel and volume of guests mean that everything is transactional. I wouldnt recommend staying here and I would never return

Best cocktails in the world! Everything is fresh and home made 🍸🍹 We return in this hotel every time we need to recharge our batteries ( from 2018 )! Allways find here a very high quality !

This hotel was recommended by friends, one of whom is from the island . The other friend has visited this hotel over 20 times. I cannot express enough how fantastic this place is. From check in staff, pool staff, catering, house keeping, shops, bars, etc. Every thing was superb. This hotel has something for everyone. Quiet areas to relax, and more than enough places to chill out with other guests. We were upgraded which was an added bonus. I cannot wait to return later in the year for some winter sun. Well done to the whole team at the hotel for making us feel so welcome and happy.

We have had a fantastic stay at Costa Meloneras and would happily return in the future. We’ve 3 days left of our holiday and it’s been great. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and set within stunning grounds. The pools are amazing, heated, and there is always plenty of space to relax. The patio areas are gorgeous, and there is a wide selection of drinks available throughout the day. The staff are friendly and hardworking, particularly the waiter in the bar nearest to the back gates, who was excellent throughout our stay. The cleaning staff also deserve special recognition as they have been absolutely fantastic. The food has been very good overall, with a wide variety of choice. Breakfast was definitely the highlight for us and was better than dinner, although the restaurant itself is stunning and beautifully presented. A special mention also goes to the hotel hairdresser. If you have long, thick hair, she is an absolute must-visit. She is incredibly talented and worth every penny. One of the things we loved most was the atmosphere. There is always something going on around the hotel, yet it still feels peaceful and relaxing. The evening entertainment was also surprisingly good and added to the overall experience. There were, however, a few areas that we felt could be improved. Given that this is a 5-star hotel, we were surprised that waiters did not pour drinks when serving them. We have stayed at other Lopesan hotels where this was standard practice, so it felt like a small detail that was missing. We also experienced an ongoing issue with lots of ants in our room. (Room 2384) While this was disappointing, reception handled the matter professionally and offered us a room change, which we appreciated. Finally, during our stay, several World Cup matches involving Germany, Spain and other nations were shown on the outdoor big screen in the evenings. When we asked reception if England matches would also be shown, we were told that “we only show important games” and that we would need to watch England in the sports bar downstairs. Whether intended or not, the comment came across as dismissive and rude, and we felt that if some nations’ matches are shown outside, all guests should be treated equally regardless of nationality. Despite these points, the positives far outweighed the negatives. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and both myself and my parents would not hesitate to return. The pools are nice and the ambient is amazing.

Food selection for a 5 star hotel is not satisfactory. Every 3 star hotel has the same if not more. Staff is grumoy all the time, everything is rushed. At checkout it's like a production line. The only nice lady was the server at the Island pool bar.

The resort plays loud pop music daily until early afternoon which is hard to escape and not at all relaxing. Despite the "no smoking resort-wide" policy we experienced many people openly smoking and vaping unsociably around the resort. The guest in the room next to ours sat on his terrace smoking and made a 3 hour Facetime call that was so loud it disturbed us and several other couples nearby. We called reception several times yet it took the 3 hours for somebody to come to observe the problem, and do something about it. Our room would not cool below 22c, which was preventing my wife from sleeping. We asked several times for it to be adjusted to 18c and were told this was not possible as it was a resort-wide standard. When my wife got desperate and was feeling unwell we protested at the front reception at which point a maintenance person came to our room and adjusted the A/C to enable it to cool the room to 18c; hmmmmmmm. One could only exchange pool towels between 10-midday. Otherwise, the staff were very polite, helpful, and delightful.

We have wanted to visit this hotel for a holiday for years and so finally booked for this year. The hotel and its grounds are absolutley stunning and the infinity pool is just incredible! The location of the hotel is what made us want to stay here, we usually stay at the Riu Palace in Playa del Ingles but in order to get to the strip at Meloneras means getting a taxi here so being at the Lopesan was ideal. There is plenty to do here with various activities if you want to be more involved, from paddle to tennis, ping pong, aqua aerobics, (the lady who does this is fantastic and full of energy and enthusiasm!).. or if you want to be more relaxed and peaceful you can always find a spot for that too. The hotel is exceptionally clean and luxurious, the room cleaning staff are great and friendly and the gym facilities are fantastic and has everything you could need whilst being on holiday. The hotel entertainment is really good but as with most hotels it can be a bit repetitive if you're there more than 7 days. The house band was great and lively & the violinist and the piano player was exceptional. There is a good choice of food both at breakfast and evening meal times, however although some of the evening meals looked great, they didn't taste as great. I personally found that the deserts were of better quality, especially the sauté bananas with thick cream and crumble! 🤌 Our only criticisms would be the staff aren't very attentive and sometimes come across a bit miserable. Getting served drinks was the main struggle in every part of the hotel (excluding the bar in the lobby) You had to wait at least 10 minutes or so for them to notice you and come and serve you and then another 10 minutes for your drinks to arrive, if you're at the pool bar then you either had to shout for someone or you physically had to get out to tell them you wanted one at the pool bar. I understand the size of the hotel is huge and will have many guests at any one time but this should be catered for with more staff. There are also rules here which we found out quite fast! No reserving sun loungers early or your towels will be removed and you have to reclaim along with a reminder to not do it again, no beach sandals at evening meal (I found this harsh because I wear nice beach sandals that aren't for the beach) no food to be taken from the food hall - not even a piece of fruit! And no hanging your towels over the balcony, which is fair enough as it keeps the hotel looking well kept. There is a standard here which I fully appreciate but it has to be reciprocal. If guests are to live up to these standards then the staff here should also live up to 5 star standards and at times I didn't think they did and as guest in one hotel you tend to compare this to other hotels you've visited. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely come again.
