Riverside Inn

The inside was very clean and well kept. The breakfast included was really we have food you make it yourself.

The location was alright, but not my ch around.

Location was easy to find and near many attractions. Robes in the room were nice.

The room was ok. Light came in around the door when shut, no room to put two suitcases. small table 2 chairs in room, seats had no filling in them. Shower door swung in, got soaked when starting shower, toilet too close to shower, toilet paper on wall too far away from toilet. No light in bathroom, to put make up on. very dim one ceiling light in bathroom. nigjt tables too small to put a couple of items on, though bigger ones would have fit. Continential breakfast had to make myself, and I was supposed to do own dishes. I did not. Only toiletries were shampoo and shower gel. Contactless check in, had to call and watch you tube video on how to open lock box for room key.

No regular TV that I could find- just Netflix I think.

A város központában, folyóparton. A mi szobánk a folyóra nézett. Kényelmes szoba. Szellemes reggeli megoldás: konyha telepakolt hűtővel és polcokkal: kenyerek, péksütemények, dzsemek, műzlik többféle gyümölcslé, tej, vaj, tojás, olaj, stb. Mindenki elmosogat maga után.

Super Lage - man kann direkt auf dem Trail nebenan joggen gehen. Für uns war es lediglich ein stop vor einem Flug ab Halifax, länger bleiben würden wir hier nicht. Es ist alles super toll renoviert, klasse Dusche mit tollem Wasserdruck!!! Endlich mal ein geräuschloser Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Die Schiebetür zum Badezimmer ist etwas speziell - aber das gibt es ja jetzt häufig. Das Frühstück war quasi ein do-it-yourself - es gab Äpfel, Bananen, Joghurt, verschiedene Müsli, Eier, Marmelade etc. Kaffee war auch gut. Es war kein Personal vor Ort als wir da waren. Die Atmosphäre des alten Hauses war trotzdem heimelig.

Schönes altes Haus, wunderbar renoviert. Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Schönes neues Bad. Ruhige aber zentrale Lage mit Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten. Voll ausgestattete Küche für alle Bewohner nutzbar. Hier bereitet man sein Frühstück selbst, alle Zutaten dafür stehen im großen Kühlschrank bereit. Alles sehr sauber.

Da kein Geschirrspüler vorhanden musste man per Hand abspülen. Dafür wäre, bei vielen Gästen im Haus, ein bis zwei Geschirrtücher mehr gut.

You had a great kitchen but no pots and pans to use with the stove. I was really disappointed with that. No staff on site to assist. Parking lot needs work.

I very much enjoyed my stay, even though it was short. The location was perfect. The hot tub was AMAZING!! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Water was a little hard to regulate in the shower and a bit more shampoo and maybe conditioner would have been nice. Maybe install the shower dispensers instead of the tiny bottles

The Riverside Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The room was lovely and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. For breakfast you help yourself in a very good equiped kitchen. You find all sorts of food you might need and want. Lots of parking in front of the house.

Location was great , walking distance to pubs , restaurants, clean and nice backyard

Breakfast in the beautiful upstairs kitchen is self-serve with lots of good choices.

This property is stellar! A few ideas to make it even better: Room 1 bedroom windows face back door, so privacy frosting film on the lower windows would be nice. A reading lamp in the living room would make that space even more useful. A credenza or small table next to the fridge to hold the coffee maker and provide some prep space would be helpful. A tougher ask is that the overhead dimmer lights are bright LED and a warmer bulb tone would be more homey. That's all we can think off, the rest is perfection, from the gorgeous bath to the lovely house (great floors!). It's one of our favorite hotel rooms in the world and we stop specially in New Glasgow when we can to stay there! Thank you for a brilliant experience!

Room #3. Small. Too much furniture for a small room. Bathroom was very nice but half the size of the bed area. You don’t relax in the bathroom! Tv was non-existent! Walking distance to the shady part of town. Sitting next to a rail road track. Woke us up at 3:00 am blowing its whistle!

Lovely property. A bit different and certainly not for kids. It's a renovated, very grand old house. No reception, all pre arranged entry codes, so little or no human contact. Grab your own breakfast from the provided foods. You can even make your own eggs if you want. Certainly not for everyone, but we enjoyed it.

A little tricky figuring out key system, but lovely inn. The kitchen was well stocked and guests enjoyed themselves.

This a dog-friendly facility. We were barked and growled at by 2 large dogs. Spoiled an otherwise good stay.

Es war sehr sauber und zentral. Das Bad ist aussergewöhnlich gross und modern. Das Checkin ist unkompliziert, man hat jedoch kein persönlicher Kontakt.

Es war tatsächlich so, dass mitten in der Nacht ein Güterzug hinter dem Haus durchfuhr und dies entsprechend laut ist. Ich erwachte für diese Zeit, konnte aber schnell wieder einschlafen.

The air conditioning ran all night very loud and not even cool. The door to the suite was right beside the bed and the hall light which has to be on shines right into the unit and light up the whole room.

Nice room layout. Ample space. Well appointed. Nice breakfast options.

A bug was in the bed of the hotel.I sent the picture to administrator of Riverside inn. I complained about the problem. But no response from the hotel. I am so sorry about this situation.

No way to adjust the shower temperature (very hot). Room was right by entrance so a bit noisy. Area is on the sketchy side

It is in a very central location and walking distance to restaurants and cafes in the Main Street. We were allocated a ground floor room which we appreciated because we have large suitcases to carry. The check in process was clearly communicated and was easy. The self serve breakfast with generous provisions is great, the kitchen makes it possible to heat/ cook food for another meal such as dinner. We appreciated having a fridge in our room. The room and ensuite were well equipped. A comfortable inn.

Our room was quite small and we are on a long trip so have large suitcases. It was very crowded with our luggage and also difficult to open our cases in the small space.

Good to stay somewhere that's not the run of the mill. Comfy, great view of the river and nice deck.

Belle endroit tranquille

The room was spacious and newly refurbished to a very high standard with lovely ensuite. Breakfast things provided and a nice little sauna for two.

Unfortunately the plumbiing from the room above is all too apparent leaving nothing to the imagination. Im a light sleeper and you could hear too much from upstairs bathroom which is such a shame as the room no 4 I think was otherwise very nice.

Loved the walk in shower and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna and used of kitchen and included breakfast.

We booked to stay in this property twice. Book the suite if available. We loved the larger space and the separate tub and shower. We enjoyed the independence in using the amenities especially the sauna and kitchen with breakfast included. Friendly staff and owner and don’t forget to pet the adorable in home dog.

Convenient car park near room. Breakfast is DIY, giving you the option to choose what you wish to eat.

The cost of accommodation was deducted very early before check-in date as compared to the other properties which allowed a later time frame. This disallows one to have last minute change to one’s itinerary.

Wow. What a gorgeous Inn! We stayed in a suite one night with the most amazing bathroom. The second night just a bedroom also with a great bathroom. Everything was so clean and hip. We weren't use to not having a front desk, having to use codes to get in. Not too much of a problem. Right on the river in Interesting New Glasgow.

We had a Great Trip for our daughters Graduation. We enjoyed the hot tub, breakfast and it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at for reasonable rates

The amenities were outstanding and breakfast very good. The hot tub was extraordinary. The ability to reduce interior temperature was not available. Overall excellent stay.

This was a quaint little Inn that was clean, the staff member in the morning was very nice. It was quiet and there were little added touches by the owners. We were asked to switch our room for an accommodation request and we had no problem with that, they left a small little surprise for us in thanks. We highly recommend and will return again and again.

Such a beautiful and unique boutique hotel, perfect for someone who wants some rest and relaxation. Such touches of luxury. I can't fault anything about this place and can't wait to return.
