Building was very close to Roger’s centre!
Great stay, walking distance from CN tower. No need for the car, for luggage storage, it was only 10 minutes walk to union station that has bag storage facility. Overall great stay!
How disappointing! Pictures show the story!!
Pros: the area this is in is pretty close to restaurants, transit options, and Blue Jays stadium. You check in at any time which was nice. Cons: there are huge stains on the carpets in both bedrooms and in general the carpets did not look that clean. The door of one of the showers looked like it was right about to fall off. This is located in a huge condo tower.
This is not a hotel!!! it is an apartment complex. I was informed the day of the stay that we will be staying at a different building (21 Iceboat Terrace) but in the same complex as 151 Dan Leckie Way. When we got into the room at 5:00pm (check in is 4:00pm), someone's bag was in the room and the washing machine is running. It turned out to be the cleaning person. the person came back after about 15 minutes and apologized and took the stuff out of the washer and put them in the dryer and left. The unit is facing the railway tracks and you can hear the trains go by every 5 minutes well into midnight. The unit it self is fine. You can tell it has been rented out a lot as there are a lot of damages in the unit. We did not use anything in the room so it did not bother us too much. The 2nd bedroom was a "closet or storage area" with curtains as the door. Very disappointing stay especially for how much it we paid.
Our 2 night stay was ok. Spacious and sort of close to the action. However build up to checkin was stressful as we had numerous emails, and at times hard to get while travelling to advise we had to be moved. We didn’t end up moving which was good as we were not happy to do, but understood. The place needed a bit more warmth, newer towels, and maybe change the outdated shower curtain, may I suggest, which is always nice to provide a small long life milk to get guest started. The apartment is overlooking the railway which is fine but was noisy so would not suit light sleepers. The whole getting the key first upstairs in the room then going down to park the car was inconvenient, the remote was a little sketchy at times and was a little worrying as you are not to speak to the security at the desk. Not very personal which if that is what you are after then a hotel may suit people more. One key for 3 people was inconvenient. Upon checkout we had to use the remote to get out of garage and then park outside and return the key back up in the room. Checkin instructions are a little outdated especially the house rules. Eg; there is no carpet but stressed not to drink red wine etc and avoid spills. Maybe the instructions are standard but don' necessarily relate to all properties being managed. Suggest instructions be more detailed and relatable. If we had know we had to do all this for checkin we would not have booked this apartment.
Near Rogers Centre for Blue Jays games. Easy access to get in and out of Toronto. Was not happy staff could not get TV to work. Instructions could be clearer. Was not allowed two key fobs which was required to use the elevator.
Great condo, convenient location to Rogers Center. Parking included was a plus.
There was a plumbing issue at 151 Dan Leckie Way, but the property manager moved us to 12 York Street, and the apartment was beautiful. Beautiful interior and view from balcony.
Nous n’avons pas reçu le logement que nous avons réservé . On nous a mentionné qu’il y a eu un problème d’eau. Celui que nous avons eu en remplacement était plus vieux et manquait d’amour. L’emplacement par contre était très bien. La vue magnifique
The condo was very clean, well stocked, with easy access to restaurants and street car. But furnishings were tired and cheap, there was no work space and my unit backed onto the GoTrain route so was noisy. For some reason I needed to provide a personal email address to receive check in info. And was moved to the adjacent building. Three elevators for 49 floors means lots of waiting, especially around check out time.
All good
Booked accommodation was not available due to a “plumbing issue”. We were notified of the change less than 24hr before checkin. Reading other reviews, it appears someone else had the same issue and might have been allocated the same alternate unit. This review is of the alternate accommodation. Main bedroom bed had another mattress and base set stacked on top of the bed and bedframe due to a damaged bed frame. Bed was about 4 foot off the ground. Sliding doors to outside - lounge one difficult to open / close; second bedroom door handle broken. Only 1 teaspoon in the unit??? Electrical plug behind the hob doesn’t work. Tumble drier doesn’t work - knob broken off. Cupboard doors in front of washing machine and tumble drier are not on their rails - almost impossible to move them and they jamb on washing machine door if left slightly open. Second bathroom - no nonslip mat for shower in bath; bath plug cannot close. Sleeper couch in lounge is collapsing and inadequate to accommodate 3 or 4 in the unit. The alternative (kitchen bar stools) very uncomfortable for sitting for any length of time - better to sit on the floor. The unit is tired with marks on all walls. Seriously needs a coat of paint and maintenance throughout the unit. Very disappointing - particularly after 2 long haul flights to get there
This condo is in a great location and great value for the area. The beds are really comfy and the kitchen has all you need. The condo could use more seating areas and the curtains don’t fit the window so the light comes in (and the blind is broken). Checking in is a little complicated but manageable. You sometimes have to wait a while for an elevator. All of this is worth it though because the location is so great and walkable to most of Toronto’s attractions.
We were rerouted to a different and better location that was perfect for our purposes. The residence suited our needs perfectly. Beds were comfortable and view spectacular!
I love to live here. Because it’s quiet and safe. It has balcony . I love that. What I don’t like is that the owner need to keep fry pan at least 2 and clean one. The one already have is looks dirty and living room rug need to change. Other than that everything looks good and very comfortable to stay. I enjoyed there. The owner also communicated well.
Great location and condo was safe, comfortable, and had plenty of space for 4.
Safe, easy to walk to stadium
Property was in the heart of Toronto! Perfect location & was so easy to park the car.
Location, Location. Location is the keystone of this property. Add in the excellent condition of the building/ rooms, and this one was a winner for us! We are already planning another trip and if this space is available, it will be our first choice. Great communication with the host who was very patient walking us through the check in process.
I can’t rate this property as we did not stay there. They switched us property because of plumbing issues. For the property that we did stay at, the futon couch was broken and all bended. We put the mattress on the floor so we could use it as a bed. One of the bedrooms was way to tall for a rental property. There was 2 boxsprings and a mattress. The only seating there was, were barstools and bar height flimsy chairs. We had to be in all different rooms when we were at the Condo. The location was good.
We
Beautiful and safe . Like it
Check in and check out took 1 hour each time. I thought the initial text correspondence from owners was a scam bc they didn’t have a company name and so I didn’t give them my email information. However that is how they send the check in info. The listing is 151 Dan leckie way however you have to enter the 21 iceboat terrace entrance. You have to go up to get the key at unit and then go back down to park car. Same at checkout. Elevators weren’t working at checkout. Had to use stairs with our luggage. There were no washcloths. Pull out couch was only for one person even though it is listed for 2 people. The second bed was in a small space with a curtain leaving no privacy.
The place s located in a wonderful area, easy access to Billy Bishop airport and wonderful restaurants. Everything is accessible!! The place is equipped with everything you need for a long or short stay. The beds are very comfortable and it is quiet , so you will sleep well for your next adventure. The staff is very helpful with any questions you may have and are quick to respond. I would recommend it for your next trip to Toronto.
They changed our condo for any uses but was excellent.
Nice condo, location was right where we wanted to be. 30 minute wait for an elevator was tough.
Nice condo, lots of space, amazing views, terrific location!
Our stay was wonderful and the host provided top notch service! This place has absolutely everything you need and walkable distance to all the major tourist attractions. And to top it off we had a perfect view of all the cute dog park!
Our booked location had plumbing issues and we were offered a different property. This review, therefore, does not pertain to 151 Dan Leckie avenue. Our contact was extremely accommodating and our stay very enjoyable
Unit 556 is fine but a few things certainly could be improved upon. In the living area there is a futon and one chair. Futon in living room was broken and not comfortable to sit on. It is right in front of the TV and with only one other chair, not great. We tried to fix the angle but it would only lay flat. We contacted the owner/property manager (or contact person) and he said he would have someone come in the next day to look at it. They did come and he said the springs were gone and would have to be replaced or a new couch would need to be purchased. Well, I guess that helps the next guy but unfortunately not us. I think another chair would have been helpful. The unit is nice but there are a few cosmetic things that should be fixed like some missing baseboards with holes in the drywall where the baseboards should be as well as small holes in the drywall in the ceiling in one of the showers and other areas in the bathrooms. Not sure if they had water problems at one time but not nice to look at. The unit lacked supplies. There could be a few more towels and facecloths. In the kitchen there were no tea towels or dish cloths, yes there is a dishwasher but why put on for just a couple of dishes. No paper towel or Kleenex in the unit, bought our own. Loved the size of this unit it is nice and bright with big windows. The beds are comfortable. Great location, close to groceries, restaurants and events. Overall a nice place to stay.
Great security, apartment was clean. All the furniture is very basic, but doable for a short stay.
Convenient location. Clean. Parking included. Very helpful with in and out timing.
Excellent location and great communication from property owners
The suite was fully equipped. The windows needs a good cleaning. Overall i rated 4 out of 5
I was informed our stay would be at a different property than the one I booked two days before check-in. This was inconsequential as the room we stayed in was equal to the one we booked and the property was closer to the event we were attending at Rogers Centre. Communication was excellent. We were met at the front door of our new property address, we were then informed that our actual unit was in the adjacent building, (so I guess technically we were moved twice), but escorted directly to our room and given a few instructions and left to our own avails. The room showed some normal wear-and-tear but was otherwise clean and came with a kitchen stocked well-enough for everything we'd need for our 4-night stay. We didn't get the VIP Gift Card that were told was included with our stay, but honestly it wasn't a motivating factor in our decision to book and didn't even inquire about it during the trip. Right in the middle of everything. 4 nights in downtown Toronto attending myriad events, only needed to get in an Uber once. Everything withing very reasonable walking distance. Great operator. Would not hesitate to book with them again!
Manqué de produits de basse, papier de toilette. Divan lit brisé, non utilisable en mode divan.
The unit is very spacious and at a very convenient location. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay!!
We spent the weekend on a girls trip. Couldnt have asked for a better location. Very clean, safe and easy to access. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be booking again!!! Thanks to the host for accommodation. Wonderful weekend in the heart of Toronto.
Great location, owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
I love it and the guy was really kind. The apartment was amazing even the view 😍. I will definitely book with them again when I’ll be in Toronto !!
Clean property with free parking , easy walking distance to everything we needed
My son and I had a very pleasant stay. We were surprised how convenient it was walking to our destinations. It made it easy to navigate the city. Our host was very nice and made the stay comfortable for us. Also very clean! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice city weekend!
I always Enjoy staying here. This has been my third time and it never disappoints. Very convenient and safe. Thank-you, Kelly
My wife and I were very happy with our stay. It’s close to so many things. Next time we come to Toronto we will be booking the same place!
Pros: support. Wi-Fi. Cleanliness. Cons: broken sockets, bathtub plugs.
This property is in the perfect location, felt safe, but walking distance from the CN tower, and arenas.
We were relocated to a different property due to date conflicts with another guest. Actually stayed at 75 Bremner condos. The entire experience felt like we were involved in something “off” a bit. A nice visit from the Toronto police department on our first afternoon due to a break in to this condo a week or so prior. That raised numerous concerns about our own security. The security staff at the condo made you feel unwelcome. Zero eye contact and they clearly reported us to the police for renting this place for a few day. Beds are mediocre. Unit thermostats are odd to operate. The electronic deadbolt on the door didn’t work without banging on it. Drafty. The couchbed in the living room is terrible. Avoid.
The property is very quiet and it was an enjoyable stay.
Beautiful place to stay
Super clean property with all you need available from a regular coffee to clothes dryer, etc. All furniture in a good condition. Owner always available and in contact. We love it!
Great stay. No complaint.
It is close to Downtown Toronto and within walking distance of the CN Tower and the aquarium. The suite includes a kitchen, making it convenient for regular cooking.
Very good location, nice place and friendly host.
This is the second time our family has stayed here. Very convenient location and all the amenities you could ask for. Helpful staff with prompt service. Thank-you, Kelly
Initially fiuring where to go was tricky. After that we found the place to be nice, clean and quiet. We actually stayed at 21 Iceberg, adjacent to 151 Dan Leckie Way. There were restaurants and places of interest within walking distance!
I stayed at the apartment with my family for 2 nights and kids love the cleanilness.
Amazing place to stay as always. Great service. You won’t get wrong. Great location, close to everything.
Beautiful place
Beautiful condo in a great location. The beds were very comfortable.
property was beautiful ! clean, classy and courteous staff. i ran a bit after the time i said i would for check in. however they were very accommodating and even met me at my car to escort me to my parking spot in the garage . the parking lot was a bit of a maze but i figured it out. i would and will stay again very soon! thank you for the gift card!
Perfect location, quiet and comfortable.
Loved our stay. Would stay again.
Perfect stay! Everything we needed was there and super convenient with free parking and attractions were walking distance…would definitely stay here in the future!
Nice place, well located.
Loved it!
The beds were comfortable. The rooms were too hot. Needed more communication about checking out. Will definitely rent next year
Great location! Pleasant stay overall :)
Overall great property location and very friendly management.
There was a last minute change of property location. Though it was communicated well which I appreciate. The new location was also very close to everything. The cleanliness wasn't that bad it just that when we arrive the dryer was filled with left over laundry and hanging bath towels
We were moved from this place to 12 York St. Very poorly furnished place. Everything was falling apart.
I booked for 151 Dan Lecki but was transferred to 12 York which is much better than 151 Dan Lecki for the location and convenience . Walking distance to CN Tower, Roger Center and Scotia and Union Station.
The tv controller was not working at all ,there was some stuff and and mould in the bathrooms but the balcony had a good view of the city . At night it was a bit too noisy with the cars.
The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The condo was well equipped for our stay. And the hosts are so easy to communicate with.
Other than non-stick frying pan or flat, square spatula for flipping eggs, the place was excellent. Great location, easy access, clean and spacious. Thank you.
Excellent location. Beautiful place. Will definitely stay again
I can’t rate this exact location as like many others, we were switched to a different location the day before our arrival. The new location was close to Rogers and Scotiabank Arena but I had all our dinner and breakfast reservations around the original location so we had to travel to them instead. The new location was fine and we had a good stay. Not sure if the location we were moved too was better than the original one we booked.
5 stars for convince of location, cleanliness, and staff assistance. Fantastic communication in case we had questions or needed help. Convenient parking and access to transportation. Highly recommend staying at this rental. Great for solo travel, friends or families.
It was our first time renting a condo/apartment for a trip and it was a great experience all around. Perfect location, instructions were clear and communication was excellent.
Very convenient location, nice size and parking included!! That’s was great
This was actually the other building across from Dan Leckie Way. It was convenient and nice that the parking was included!;)
Amazing location. Tim Hortons just across the street and a 10 minute walk to Roger’s, CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium!
Great downtown location for catching a ball game. Close enough to walk and lots of close by places for food and drink. Parking is safe and underground. Once you find your spot, everything is walking distance. Elevators were a pain and only because one was inoperable. This caused long waits. But awesome overall.
Amazing property! Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Ontario for any length of stay. Perfect location and beautiful condo.
Had a excellent stay. The only downside was the delay in being able to check in after a long flight we were tired and hadn't received check in instructions. Eventually got sorted but could have been communicated better.
Great property..
This was a very nice place to stay. Just a few little things changed and this property could easily be five stars. Check in was easy and very clearly communicated via email. Sam was super responsive to communicate with and accommodated my very late check in due to multiple flight delays. The apt is very nice and fairly well appointed. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen / living room area is nice. The neighbourhood is good with a decent number of cafe's, restaurants and grocery stores in easy walking distance. A tiny bit gritty, but only for those folks who are very sensitive or who don't live in decent sized cities. For families with kids, there is a park and playground across the street. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars? The carpets in both bedrooms could use a refresh, or better yet, change it to the nice laminate that is in the rest of the place. The sofa is a sofa bed and has an odd semi-reclined back that makes it uncomfortable to use. I would love to have operating instructions for the oven available. I always love a house binder in a rental condo - a few restaurant / delivery / neighbourhood recommendations, appliance instructions etc in one place is such a great resource. A couple hooks on the 2nd bathroom door would help, the single towel bar is not big enough for the bath towel. The Keurig coffee maker leaked every time I used it. So nothing big, but not quite five stars. A solid 4 star place though and I would likely stay again.
Great location in between waterfront and old downtown. Great restaurants, must try Nome and Sobeys next door. Close to everything. Condo 556 has view on the park. It is very quiet. No issues with elevators run smoothly. Free parking is amazing. Could use new carpets in the bedrooms and shades in the living room. Other than that I recommend.
Wound up staying in another property (65 Bremner) but I think it really worked out for the best. Such a convenient location right next to Scotia Bank Arena, a few blocks from Rogers Centre and CN tower and right across the street from Union Station. There is a grocery store around the corner and no shortage of places to eat the in area. The location is very lively and busy but the unit is quiet for a restful nights sleep. Management was very responsive with any questions I had. Would definitely love to stay here again for my next visit to Toronto!
The place I was assigned to was at 12 York St, which was even better than the listed address. Perfect location, very convenient and safe. The apartment has two bed, two bath, very spacious with everything you need for three people to stay for a few days. Checkin and checkout instructions were clear and easy. The host was friendly and helpful.
The property was absolutely perfect (nice, confortable, clean) and the building is particularly well located.
Nice location with lake and city view.
Place was really clean. Everything in the property had more than we expected. Really nice views. Hope to come back soon.
Very kind staff, very clean and spacious condo would definitely stay again
Absolutely perfect! Location so close to CN Tower and Roger’s Centre. 10 min walk. Right outside building there’s great places to eat and right across street, there’s a beautiful park, small splash pad and great views. Book today
The representative “Sam” was an excellent service provider. He was a very reliable and quick response to our requests. Very well-organized house rules and easy access to the property. A few things we noticed: 1. The first thing we noticed was the condition of the carpet in the master bedroom. They may want to consider replacing it soon. Otherwise, you might want to have a set of disposable slippers for the guests. (*The carpet condition was noted in the house rule that was provided before our stay so it might have been damaged just before our stay.) 2. The master bedroom’s bathroom glass door hinge was loose… which should be looked after for safety. 3. The living room blinds were not functional, we couldn't see the view of the Toronto… 4. The baseboard was filled with dust that may have been missed by the cleaning team. I would think the above points will improve this condotel beyond the exceptional level of most five-star hotels in town based on our last stay at Soho hotel experience. Thank you, Sam, and I would highly recommend this stay.
It was perfect, they had a last minute change of location which made me a little nervous but they were very clear in communication and instructions. We loved the new location. It was central, clean, safe, comfortable. We loved it!
Great place, will definitely want to stay again
Clean and convenient, with all required house hold items and easy access to key areas of interest
