Great location

I didn’t think we should have to pay for parking. For the price of the room a continental breakfast should have been included. I told the front desk we were celebrating my mother’s 90th birthday. Perhaps a complimentary bottle of wine or something in the room to commemorate would have been nice.

The entire hotel is spotless. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Perfect location, close to restaurants and stores. I was a solo female traveller and felt completely safe.

Beautiful aesthetic

Walls in rooms paper thin. We could hear conversations. We heard the man next door snoring all night long. Not sound proof at all. If you like privacy and peace this is not the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dorchester. Experience, service and hospitality was top notch. Karen at the reception was wonderful, our room was ready earlier than expected. Room was spacious and the bed was just so comfy.

Staff were wonderful, very helpful , lovely hotel in a great area.

We stayed in the beautiful 2 queen beds room. The staff made our stay special and were able to accomodate for my partner who was using crutches. The only issue was with the wifi, which dropped at times. But otherwise, would stay here again!

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff! That said, there needs to be more soundproofing between the rooms and hallways. You can hear a pin drop in the hallways and we were woken very early and couldn’t get back to sleep from the sounds of hotel staff and people entering rooms.

Flawless hotel in a great location

Loved it, we had everything we needed & more ! It was set up like a little apartment. Our toddler daughter had the pull out sofa and we slept in the bedroom and it was perfect for our little family ! Would love to come back again !

The hotel is well located. The room was very nice. The bedroom was a little small, with the side of the bed being next to the wall. And the hotel uses this email website / key service and I don’t like it. However, I would stay here again.

there was no breakfast at the hotel. restaurant only open for supper. easy to get to restaurants for breakfast cross the road and maybe 5-10 minutes away . this was not a problem. we would certainly stay at the dorchester again and again.!!!!

Loved our stay at the Dorchester Hotel. It was clean, spacious, and the location was exactly where we wanted to be to enjoy a little getaway from the city. Check in was very easy, and parking was no issue. Collingwood has very nice dining spots, and the biking trails were nice along the water. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the Dorchester. They really promoted the history of Collingwood. A lot of love went into creating the rooms and so much attention to detail. The staff was so friendly and helpful, check-in seamless, love the no-key check-in. The Tremont for drinks (chef's kiss). Excellent cocktails! Great value for the cost!

Key/door system via email is a nuisance. Far below expected access to tv stations, very few channels “actually” available. No desk area or table in room.

The Dorchester is well appointed and the Ed are equipped with all the modern conveniences one could want. I especially loved the variety of glassware.

Truly a fantastic hotel, it isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for! This is a lovely small boutique hotel decorated to the highest of standards with every detail thought of in terms of extras in your room. The room size was exceptional. The staff were also excellent and free parking on site is a bonus.

The room was spotlessly clean – bravo to housekeeping! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the decor and aesthetics of the room were elegant and thoughtfully done. It’s clear the hotel has been beautifully restored and renovated. Thoughtful in-room amenities included bottled water, a Nespresso machine with pods, and a wide range of bathroom products – shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, shower cap, mending kit, and vanity items like cotton pads and ear swabs (wish I’d known – could’ve packed lighter!). Bathrobes were provided, but note that you’ll need to bring your own slippers. Access to the room and hotel is done via a digital link sent to your phone, which unlocks your room and hotel doors. After 8pm, there's no front desk staff, so your phone is essential for coming and going. The link expires upon checkout. All in all, a stylish, comfortable stay with thoughtful touches and a seamless modern check-in experience. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend it!

Beautiful hotel with super comfy beds, friendly and accommodating staff. Facilities are perfect, location is great and we’ll definitely return to The Dorchester when in Collingwood again. The town of Collingwood is also beautiful, must visit location away from the packed Toronto streets.

First time that we encountered having to use our phone as the key to the hotel doors and to our room. It's not that we didn't like that but that was a learning curve for us and the staff was very dedicated to make sure we knew the process.

This is a very unique property. Very chic, elegantly decorated, great attention to detail and spotless. The room is very retro and extemely quiet. Highly recommend!!!

I was disappointed by the 5 day cancellation rule. With only three cars in the parking lot at 6am, I’m sure they need the business this time of year, but my business meeting got cancelled on Monday morning at 7am, and I had to either eat the cost or scramble up an alternative by Tuesday afternoon. Luckily, I had a University Classmate who stepped in! I won’t be booking a business dinner/room at this hotel again

Outstanding Property! Stylistic & Comfortable! The staff’s personal touches included a card & Prosecco to welcome our guests from Barbados that we wanted to treat to a special night at the Dorchester! We enjoyed the Atmosphere,Cocktails & Menú of the Tremont Cafe! Thank you to Everyone for making their stay a highlight of their trip!

Good Location and comfortable, but!! North side Rooms subject to blaring Techno music until well after midnight not sure if this was a one off? No visible local club activity? ....stick to the South side rooms. Good Luck! Signed Tired and Bleary Eyed! Minus $400!!

The hotel was uniquely decorated, the beds were comfortable. The pillows, towels and robes were nice.

The bathtub drain would not stay closed, so it was impossible to use the large bathtub. Which was one of the reasons I chose the hotel and room. You could also hear people walking above us, and people opening and closing doors and walking in the hall.

Awesome design, great space in the room. All hotel smells wonderfully, super clean. Has everything one needs. Such comfortable bed, pillows, blankets - I wanted to stay in bed all day. Amazing experience.
