Wonderful place, really lovely rooms and enjoyed the pool table. The parking inside was a big plus.

We stayed for 12 nights, it was brilliant and we felt safe and secure. Dyson is the best manager, very attentive and friendly! He works so hard at the property to make sure it runs smoothly and everything is always spotless. Thanks so much for our stay.

Villa Jesdene is truly one best maintained and cleanest I have ever stayed in. I am very picky when it comes to guesthouses. And I can only say the best about Villa Jesdene. Nafees, went out of his way to accommodate me, and Dyson is a true gem. The cleanliness is exceptional (you can literately eat from the floor) and the linen is of an extremely good quality. I have now booked here for several nights in the next 2 weeks.

Absolutely nothing.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very homely feel. We left early every morning so breakfast was delivered to our room the night before and we could heat it up in the microwave in the morning. Underfloor heating made the room cosy warm and cosy. Dyson was lovely and helpful.

Lovely pool, great place to stay before flying home. Nice to stay somewhere in Cape Town where it felt safe to walk to the local restaurants in the evening and great choice of places to eat. Staff were really helpful and allowed us to stay and use the pool and lounge while waiting for our flight home.

Ļoti gaumīga, moderna, tīra, patīkama, plaša naktsmītne. Katra lieta augstas kvalitātes, viss pārdomāts. Jauka uzņemšana, ar auto ērta un droša vieta aiz slēgtiem vārtiem. Ar auto ceļojot laba atrašanās vieta. Brokastis bija pasutītas/piegādatas garšīgas. Naktsmītne bija labāka kā gaidījām. Izcila, noteikti atgrieztos un ieteiktu.

A casa é linda, em um bairro muito tranquilo de Cape Town. O quarto é muito confortável e estava extremamente limpo. O chuveiro é excelente! O gerente, Dyson, foi muito solícito, nos auxiliando prontamente com tudo. Recomendo demais!

Really lovely, spacious room with very comfortable beds. The staff who greeted us was friendly and attentive, with smooth check-in. We also enjoyed a tasty breakfast in the morning. For the price especially this was really a good stay!

Dat de bedden goed waren en het was een mooie accemodatie.

De weg er naar toe,je kon er bijna niet komen i.v.m.drukke verkeer. Er is maar één weg er naar toe. Er woont 1 vaste persoon op het perceel,die alles doet blijkbaar. Hij is wel vriendelijk,maar tijdens het ontbijt zit hij continu op zij telefoon te kijken. Je moet hem vragen om koffie,want anders vergeet hij het gewoon,zelfs als je binnen komt zegt hi niet veel. Om 8.00uur afgesproken voor ontbijt,was het ontbijt niet aanwezig. Wij moesten wachten omdat het ontbijt elders weg moest komen.(restaurant)meer dan 20 minuten wachten.(dit kan niet) Ontbijt maken is toch niet zo moeilijk,hij had een hele mooie keuken ter beschikking.(zie foto) Ik vind dat de eigenaar hier bij moet zijn,niet één keer gezien......jammer.

We had a lovely stay. The guest house was lovely.

This is an exceptionally spacious and clean room with private parking(not always available in the city) and we think the property is very well positioned in an extremely safe area of Kenilworth. We loved the pool after a hot day of sightseeing. The Kenilworth train station that serves the Southern line of CT Metro is within short walking distance and we used it to travel cheaply to Fish Hoek for a lovely day out. Dysan, the housekeeper served us with scrumptious breakfasts and delicious coffees. Easy check in and out as well, thanks to him always available for his guests. Thank you Nabila and Villa Jesdene.

Only a sliding door and no windows to open in the bedroom.

Comms were good and they accommodated late check-in. Dyson was also very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was fine for what I needed (a one night stay between landing late from a domestic flight and leaving early on an international).

The set-up wasn't for me - there's shared kitchen and lounge facilities but it felt awkward (maybe because there was a young kid who kept coming in and staring at me intently while I ate breakfast). Breakfast was also brought in from elsewhere - I wasn't expecting to get Eggs Benedict in a polystyrene container - if I had known that, I'd have chosen a without breakfast option.

Мы останавливались здесь на 5 ночей и все прошло великолепно. Номер просторный и чистый, постельное белье очень мягкое и приятное. Завтраки вкусные, мы попробовали много позиций из меню и все было на высоте. Dyson очень отзывчивый и помогал со всеми вопросами. Также есть стиральная машина, что очень выручило нас после нескольких долгих перелетов. Местоположение показалось удачным: пять минут пешком до станции, 10 минут до магазина Spar, сам район очень спокойный и безопасный, до ботанического сада мы дошли пешком за 1 час. На такси до аэропорта можно доехать за небольшую сумму. Есть своя парковка на территории. Если бы еще раз приедем в Кейптаун, то остановимся здесь снова

Сочетание комфорта со всем необходимым (кухня, стиралка) в общем доступе и безопасности с очень доступной ценой. Управляющий Дайсон выше всех похвал - улыбчивый, помогающий со всеми вопросами, всегда все чётко.

Die Liegenauflagen am Pool waren dreckig und kaputt, Poolwasser schmutzig, aber das liegt wohl an den vielen Pflanzen im Garten. Der Garten könnte allgemein gepflegter sein. Pool & Garten lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein

Parking is a bit tight. Also, our aircon was switched on in our absence. I didn’t like that.

We booked for six nights but left after the first night and didn’t receive the full refund I asked for. Black mould on shower tiles, around bath and on bathroom ceilings - this alone is enough to close any establishment down. Extensive old established leak in dressing room with black mould on ceiling One room smelt of vomit on arrival Huge chip in basin which I see was reported by another guest in online review months ago and never replaced. Sink brown and pockmarked Bath chipped Another resin basin with cigarette burn Kettle on floor next to door as cable too short to put on table. Stained bedroom upholstery and stained garden furniture cushions . Washing machine plugged in in middle of pool room. Empty tv brackets just left on walls Exposed wires poking out of rubber casing left in wall where an old appliance had been removed Pedal bin broken, another bin dirty and covered with kids stickers Breakfast from outside source presented cold and sweaty in polystyrene box. Basic sliced bread presented in packet on breakfast table with margarine in plastic tub,cheap jam in plastic bucket and orange juice that has never met an orange. Bedside lampshade broken. I see this was reported months ago in online review by another guest but never replaced. Fridge in hanging cupboard so no place to hang clothes. No hangers in cupboard.

This place is not how it appears in the photos. It was very inconvenient to move out on Christmas Eve and find alternative accommodation at last minute. A complete disappointment and this property needs a complete overhaul and refurbishment as it’s outdated and tired.

Der Frühstücks- und Aufenthaltsraum waren sehr großzügig eingerichtet. Es gab eine Wäschleine. Es gab eine Wasseraufbeitungsanlage, man musste kein Wasser kaufen.

Es gab keine Möglichkeit, die Koffer im Zimmer abzustellen. Frühstück wurde über einen Externen geliefert und war an Wochenenden und Feiertagen erst ab 8:30 erhältlich. Da ist man mit selbst zubereitetm Frühstück wesentlich flexibler.

The mattresses could do a change as I was sinking into the middle of the bed.

Das Zimmer hatte leider ein paar Mängel. Das Bett wies eine Wanze auf die uns mehrfach gestochen oder gebissen hatte. Die Balkontüre konnte man fast nicht schliessen oder öffnen weil der Rahmen völlig verzogen war. Das Lavabo im Badezimmer fehlte ein ganzes Stück und konnte nicht gut gerreinigt werden. Das bestellte Frühstück war lieblos mit grossen Dosen von Margerine und Konfitüre. Die Rühreier waren kalt und geschmacklos. Wir haben das Zimmer am gleichen Tag verlassen und es gab keine Rückerstattung. Würden wir nie wieder buchen.

It’s at a perfect location, close to everything. The Host was very helpful and didn’t hesitate when helping us book some activities or transport. Dyson, as well, was very friendly and welcoming. I’m definitely recommending it to my friends and family.
