From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, it just amazing, breathe taking. The Staff and the facilities are out of this world, This is my Third visit, and I will be back again, OUTSTANDING to all the staff and facilities.

Staff is very friendly, it’s a beautiful place. We saw all of the big 5, all kind of cat species so closely it was unbelievable

Fantastic experience. This was one of the best lodges I have been to and I have done quite a few. The food was great... found my new favorite wine there. The staff were super friendly. The accommodation was clean, large space and very comfortable. The game drives were also great! Will definitely go there again.

Nothing I can fault them on. It was an amazing experience. The views juts topped it all off.

There were no animals to see. We went on an empty game drive. You say that you are a big five reserve, but in reality you are not. We went on four different drives but the bushes were empty. there was nothing to see, Babohi is not the same anymore, when I visited the reserve in 2023 and 2024, it was packed with all sorts of animals, and the game drives were interesting. I don't think its worth revisiting the reserve if the situation is not improved.

Bring back the wild animals. The experience was terrible; I don't think the price you are charging is worth the value that you offer on the drive. You a great team of Tour Guides, but you are sending them to an empty wilderness without animals for the guests to see.

L’arrivée a été catastrophique, nous avons dû attendre 45 minutes des autres clients qui ne sont jamais arrivés. L’hôtel est très étendu donc nous devons appeler des voiturettes de golf pour nous amener d’un point autres clients un autre.

Experiência simplesmente incrível! Desde a chegada, fomos recebidos por uma equipe extremamente educada, cordial e sempre disposta a tornar nossa estadia especial. Optamos pelo pacote all inclusive e ficamos muito satisfeitos: a comida é excelente, com grande variedade e qualidade em todas as refeições. Nosso guia, Joe, foi fantástico, muito simpático, atencioso e tornou os safáris ainda mais especiais com todo o seu conhecimento e entusiasmo. O quarto é excepcional, muito confortável e com uma estrutura impecável. O safari é uma experiência surpreendente e inesquecível, superando todas as nossas expectativas. Recomendamos este lugar sem hesitar e, com certeza, voltaríamos novamente!

O único ponto que consideramos menos positivo foi o valor do transfer entre o aeroporto e o hotel, que achamos um pouco elevado. Em uma próxima visita, provavelmente optaríamos por alugar um carro e fazer o trajeto por conta própria. Ainda assim, isso não comprometeu a excelente experiência que tivemos durante a estadia.

It is a private game lodge and this specific lodge does not allow children which changes the atmosphere. The rooms are well situated on the side of the hill allowing for panoramic views of the valley and game which come to the waterhole. The rooms are spacious with every amenity one could want for an exclusive luxury stay, it is full board with a great range of wine and spirits. There is a wonderful spa onsite. The game drives are relaxed and well catered and plenty of animals to view. Staff are attentive and work to ensure all your needs are exceeded.

The facilities,the room was luxurious and spacious.

Getting to the property is a mission - long gravel road to get to the property.

Upon arrival, they told us they were treat us like royalty and they certainly did. Nothing we asked, was too hard for them. And did everything to make sure we had an amazing celebration.

Expensive and after paying a huge amount of money the extremely expensive conservation levy was a bitter pill to swallow

We loved everything about Babohi. From the minute you arrive you are treated like royalty! The staff are exceptional and the location and property are breathtaking. The FOOD is unbelievable, best we’ve ever eaten in a hotel (if not ever)! Special mention to our game driver Joe who was excellent and did everything for us to see as many animals as possible! The restaurant staff are also brilliant and can’t do enough for you. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Thank you all again - we hope to return one day!

That we didn’t have more time here!

Food was outstanding. Whatever we asked for was presented beautifully and delicious. The chef made egg-free deserts for me which were superb and that's not an easy task. Honestly, we couldn't find fault with anything . Staff were incredible.

Game viewing was a bit scarce, but maybe we were expecting more like KNP. We had excellent sightings though. But a lot of driving around often not seeing anything. We know it's right place right time.

The setting, the rooms, the staff, the food everything was exceptional. Our game driver was really great and put in so much effort to help us find some incredible wildlife. For an all-inclusive setup the variation on food format/offering was really good. They catered for my vegetarian diet well too!

The check in procedure was a disappointment. After travelling 16 hours, the first thing the receptionist did was shove a card machine at us telling us to pay the tourist tax. At this point we hadn’t even had a drink, food or seen the beautiful view. We just got put in a dark corner and told to pay. One bad experience does not reflect the whole trip, however and we still had the best time.

Both the chefs were outstanding, delicious food and beautiful presentation, breakfast and dinner were outstanding, the staff were very friendly. It was an all-round wonderful experience

Hotellet och rummen var väldigt fräscha och hade utmärkt utsikt. Vår guide Joey gjorde safarin till en otrolig upplevelse. Hela personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma och stod alltid till förfogande. Helheten var väldigt bra

Le cadre est fabuleux. Dans une nature époustouflante, quelle que soit la saison, les paysages y sont de toute beauté, les animaux également. La vue de l'hotel est sublime, les chambres sont très confortables.

The property was clean and tidy. The staff were super sweet and ready to assist us with anything we needed or wanted. When an a la cart menu was offered it was delicious.

We advised the accommodation that we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. Upon arrival to the room nothing special was done for our special occasion. Just a note to say congratulations from the manager. We become close with a couple of the guests with one of the guests advising that they too were on their honeymoon and were impressed with their treatment upon arrival. They received a room upgrade and rose petals on their bed. Our room electricity would constantly go out and only after a major outage did they offer a room change at the family reserve when we were not satisfied with this resolution as we were willing to spend our honeymoon with families, we had just left our children at home to spend adult time together, they only then offered a room upgrade. The upgrade was not even worth it as we lost our pool and gained a spa which couldn’t really be utilised as the weather was 30 degrees and above. The game drives were available if you wanted to go on any. The game seemed to be new to the property so both rangers and game were getting to know each other. The game were really hard to find despite the property not being very large. The rooms were far from the restaurant so we would constantly have to call and seek staff to drive us around and at times it would take time for them to collect you. The electricity would constantly go out. With a lack of activities on offer other then a game drive at specific times of the day making those moments of no electricity isolating and took away from a holiday vibe. We were only afforded one lux meal upon arrival during our stay. The remainder of our stay was buffet meals which were lack lustre. I got the pleasure of eating at their sister game reserve which accommodated families. They too were doing buffet style meals however the quality of the presentation and taste of the meal was exceptional compared to the Babohi which was meant to be even more exceptional.

The staff were all exceptional. Sam was our guide and he was fantastic! We'll definitely visit again.

The drive to the property 😂😂😂 needs an off-road car.

Babohi exceeded all of our expectations. From the friendly staff who always went above and beyond, the beautifully spacious rooms to the most divine food - everything was 5 Stars. We thouroughly enjoyed our game drives with our game ranger Joe, we managed to see 4/5 big five and the morning amarula coffees and gin sundowners were also a treat. We also enjoyed our massages at their spa. It really was the most memorable stay.

It’s a far away escape

We came for our honeymoon after getting married in Franschhoek a few days before and it was the perfect spot to relax and just spend some time together. The Property - The scenery is amazing. Great views from the pool area and the design and aesthetics are modern luxury. We stayed in their entry level rooms and it was a large room, very comfortable bed and everything you needed. Food & Drinks - Outstanding! I found the quantity too much but that’s because I have a smaller appetite. You will not go hungry! The food was very very good. Everything we tried was excellent. Game Drives - We had 4 nights so lots of amazing game drives to look forward to. Our guide Joe was brilliant. We saw 4/5 of the big 5 and plenty more with some pretty special lion & elephant encounters. Staff - Highlight and an asset to the lodge. We were treated like royalty here. They really look after you well. Fredrick is particular made sure we were always well taken care of.

In terms of feedback a few things to note to make it 10/10 - 1.) We mentioned on the notes it was our honeymoon and they replied that they’d arrange something special for us. That didn’t end up transpiring. It’s not a huge deal as they look after you very well anyway but the hotel we stopped at for one night in Joburg went all out - champagne in room, rose petals all over, cakes and congratulations messages so it was a bit disappointing they didn’t acknowledge it especially given the price difference in the two hotels. 2.) The pool is heated but it’s hot! It’s more of a hot tub. Suggestion for summer months would be to turn the heat down slightly so it’s still pleasant but a bit more refreshing for a hot day. 3.) The dirt road does require a high vehicle. We hired a transfer so luckily didn’t have to tackle it ourselves and would recommend that.

I was sleeping at leopard 3 the rooms are spacious and very beautiful .

Absolutely incredible place and cannot recommend it enough. The price may seem a little high initially but EVERYTHING was included: meals, drinks, game drives, and even the spa, so absolutely worth it. The thought and care provided by the staff is second to none.

Das Hotel ist spitzenmäßig. Das Personal, die Menschen dahinter, sind soooo toll!!!! Man wird wie ein König behandelt. Das Essen ist sensationell. Die Game Drives (Danke Sam) sind wirklich toll. Wir hatten viele tolle Tierbegegnungen (Big four und mehr (Leopard nicht gesehen)) und schöne Sundowner. Das Gute an dem Hotel: es liegt direkt im Park. Keine weiten Anfahrtswege. Unser Room war richtig schön und stylisch. Da es viel bergauf geht, wird man, wenn man möchte, mit einen kleinem Golfwagen abgeholt oder zum Raum zurück gebracht. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist sensationell. Übrigens wird man zum Letamo Hotel gebracht und dann zum Babohi gefahren (ca. 20 min).

We had a wonderful stay at Babohi, Qwabi Private Game Reserve. The setting is absolutely beautiful and tranquil, and all the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our game driver, Sam, was fantastic — very knowledgeable and gave great explanations during the game drives.

If there’s anything that could improve, we’d say the food could be a bit better, and the spa experience could also be enhanced.

Food is too fancy. After a cold game drive a good hot stew would be better. Should be African food on the menu as well.

The suite was spacious and comfortable.

The two fireplaces were not working which was disappointing because we booked that room specifically because it had fireplaces in winter. The service at mealtime was slow given the number of people staying there.
