Hotel Indigo Coventry by IHG

This is my preferred hotel when I’m travelling to Coventry for work. I find the beds really comfortable, the decor love, staff are very professional and the food is good. And it’s the consistency that I really appreciate as well.

The accommodation is beyond my expectations,very worth to pay for. And the services is top tier , i would comeback for sure if there’s a chance.

Great location near the train station. Beautiful atmosphere Relaxing lounge. Helpful and kind staff Clean and comfortable rooms. WiFi and Air conditioning work well.

My only slight recommendation would be to change the cups in the rooms. The cups in the rooms were metal and quite impractical with a hot cup of tea.

I liked everything

Firsrly, l like that lndigo is right in the centre of the city. My room was spacious, clean and had all the necessary items including an iron and itoning board. The drinks in the mini bar were also complimentary. After attending a festival all l wanted was a to have a good rest and lndigo delivered with a comfortable bed. To top the list, the staff members were really kind and friendly. The hotel decor is beautifully done from the reception, lounge area, restaurant to the bedrooms. I will stay here over and over if l am in Coventry.

We recieved a warm welcome and we really liked our room. It was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and there were tea and coffee facilities in the room. The hotel as a whole felt cared for and smart, with some funky designs and cool furniture. We enjoyed breakfast. Our son came along to join us. There was plenty of choice, for vegetarians too. The service was friendly and attentive. You are given free parking at the station which was a bonus and only a few minutes walk. Overall we really enjoyed the nights stay in Hotel Indigo!

The hotel is really convenient for Coventry station.... but the location is pretty run down/ ugly! It's a shame as the hotel, once you're inside is really nice. And breakfast for an extra person felt expensive at £20.

the on-site restaurant/bar is fairly good. The location is excellent, very close to main rail station, where there is also very reasonably priced parking with in-out privileges. The building is a little shorter than the surrounding buildings, which makes it somewhat less intuitive to find, but that is as much a fault of Google maps . Easy walk to city center. The split-door shower setup was less annoying than most nowadays.

Staff was very welcoming, and helpful. The room was very spacious, modern and full of amenities. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were awesome too

We were booked on bed and breakfast basis. On the last day, we needed to leave the hotel at 06:15 am due to a very early flight, but unfortunately no packed lunch was given.

Bedroom was lovely and comfortable. Kirsten on reception was welcoming.

Bar and restaurant staff were very slow (10 minutes to make 2 drinks), not friendly and the selection of drinks was very poor.

Great location. Very close to the railway station. Easy walking distance into town. Loved the room decor showcasing the motor manufacturing history of Coventry.

Location was ideal for the train station as we travelled to Edgbaston for the cricket.

The friendliness of the staff, facilities were great, the hotel was nice and clean, ideally located.

What was so disappointing was the metal cups for hot drinks, I am amazed that the health and safety team did not pick this up. The cups were so hotel to take a drink from, they nearly burned my lips and the handle was too hot to hold. Why were there no non-metallic cups. This let the hotel down very badly.

Expensive for what it was. Room service on TV didn’t work and I notified them they didn’t offer alternative ordering.

Very clean , modern hotel .Reception area and bar were very nice and welcoming .Our room was large and well furnished and very nicely appointed .Lovely bathroom - huge Tv and huge bed . Loved the large windows and the air conditioning.

The tea and coffee for the room was really poor quality. Need to change the coffee bags they are so weak even after leaving it in for more than 5 mins. The tea was poor quality as well

The Staff at reception were very polite and helpful. They Engaged in conversations and answered my questions.

Parking was confusing as there are 3 car parks and only 1 was linked to the hotel parking discount. Onsite parking would be a great benefit.

Das Hotel Indigo hat uns in jeder Hinsicht sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt günstig, hat eine attraktive Einrichtung und freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, die Dusche ideal. Zusätzliche Gäste zum Frühstück einzuladen, war kein Problem. Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen lecker und variantenreich.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Rooms really clean and comfy and stylish. Nice touches like free drinks in the minibar. Staff friendly. Incredibly convenient for the station and offices around there.

Only minor thing was that the aircon was initially on too strong so the room was initially cold.

Proximity to the train station, to the city centre and the whole atmosphere. It was just fantastic. Although pricey, well, good things life doesnt always come cheap. It takes many factors and players to bring a great orchestra to consistently come up with great music.

The public parking garage is really just around the corner, and there's a hotel discount.

Good location, hotel is situated by the train station. There was an iron and ironing board in the room, along with a selection of tea and coffees. Reception staff were very welcoming and gave us some background info on their themed rooms.

The room was a too warm for my comfort, but ok for my husband. We didn’t have any milk for hot drinks (this should have been left in the fridge, but sadly forgotten). Some water in the fridge but unsure if complimentary.

Very friendly staff helpful, clean modern hotel. Breakfast is very good, but the food and choice of menu for the evening meal are not so good, let's the hotel down.
