The hotel is in an excellent location for all the amenities (bars, restaurants and shops). Our room was immaculately clean with everything you could need. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and replenished quickly.

Really clean, lovely staff, quiet areas in the bar for a game of Uno and a glass of wine! Bedrooms were spacious and really clean!

Room was too warm for my liking

This was a stay for a meeting locally. The property is about 3 years old but looks new. Easy to find, and a great car park just over the road. Logging your registration at reception gets you a discount. The room was very well equipped with an iron and ironing board, and a small fridge, which is a nice touch. Plus all the normal things you would expect. There is an M&S, along with a range of shops and restaurants, just over the road. The included breakfast was fantastic. All in all, a great stay at a budget price.

We had dirty sheets, a dirty sink, hair on the floor and left over jewellery. I raised it with staff but the sheets were not changed in the morning.

Very clean and very friendly staff, they couldn't do enough for you. I particularly liked the personal touch of the text message i received asking if everything in the room was ok. The room i had was very comfy and very clean. I also liked the fact they put a poster in the lift to say when the fire alarm was being tested, that was a great touch for my autistic son who was with me.

The pillows are too soft, although they are nice, they are just not firm enough for my neck and i got neck and shoulder ache. Instructions on how to use the thermostat would have been good. The TV was annoying because the volume is set and couldn't be turned down. The breakfast was ok, not enough fruit options and maybe cut the rind off because it was annoying when you just wanted a bowl of fruit and yoghurt and had to cut it off with just a butter knife, there were only pineapple and mellon as an option. The hot food was nice.

There was some marks in the sink and toilet we had to sort, the bedside tables were sadly broken, and thankfully I always bring a roll of toilet paper as there was none in the bathroom. There was 1 tea bag for 2 of us staying in the room with no sugar, milk or tea spoon (description stated tea & coffee). It almost seemed as though someone had checked out and cleaners had been in changed the bed, hoovered the main room then left without checking other things. Checking in took ages due to only 1 person doing check in and the same with checking out. As there was only the 1 tea bag in the room we queried about grabbing a drink (we was not fussed about paying for it etc), we were directed to a coffee machine which had no milk, when asked we waited half hour and still nothing so we sucked up 2 black coffees to sip to take our tablets. Realistically it was majorly disappointing for a stay for 2 adults for 1 night when it cost £144 and what was offered not being there, we actually booked this as the travelodge was sitting at £160 and we thought it was a bargain for a more premium hotel so we thought. Definitely wish we had just paid the extra to have had the travelodge now, sad but we know for next time and as we host a lot of events we wouldn't recommend here to our guests. You have got an aldi over the road and an area with plenty of shops, car park located opposite the hotel is £5.50 for the full 24 hours or if just overnight £1.

Breakfast was excellent. A lot of choice

No car parking. this was not obvious on booking, only if you looked down at the bottom of the form in "other questions people asked" or such. The method of parking in the M&S was fairly straight forward once you got the staff to explain it fully to you. But you have to pay. There was very limited evening meal facilities, practically none, and Rochdale in not over endowed with restaurants of any kind.

The staff are always so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is hands down the best complementary breakfast you will ever get at a hotel, especially the mushrooms and sausages absolutely amazing!! The room is so quiet, comfortable and has everything you need. The bed and pillows are honestly so soft you feel like you melt into them they are that comfy. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back!

Hopefully one day the hotel will install chromecast services into their TV's

Breakfast has great options and they let us take it to our room, considering we had our baby, we always stay here when we visit! We had a small mishap with the room, but they were extremely apologetic and treated us to some dessert and drinks.

This is my fourth tone staying here and generally it has been ok. Location is good. Staff are usually helpful.

We arrived for breakfast at 9:30 and told eggs are coming. At 10:05. We were told they've run out of eggs and we should have come earlier. As vegetarians expecting a decent breakfast this is totally unacceptable.

The room was clean and spacious, with good amenities and a small fridge. The mattress was plus and comfortable with truly blackout curtains. Will definitely book again.

Very convenient for the town centre. All the staff were extremely friendly and very good at their roles.

The hotel is in a good location to get to and from. The EV charging is reasonably priced and convenient. There are several places to eat nearby with different entertainment options. The room was comfortable and quiet and you can control the temperature.

There's no convenient dropping off next to the entrance with either ramps or steps up to the hotel entrance. You need to park first in the adjacent public car park and walk across. Not an overly big deal but worth noting. The car park is ANPR so no tickets to collect, just remember to put your registration number in at the reception. For the cheaper rate parking. For the EV charging I used our Electroverse card which was seamless and easy.

It was a really nice room with fridge and iron for clothes ect. Good if you want to work on your Laptop as its got a table designed for that and very comfortable with corner seating, Shower was great, everything you would expect in a nice hotel really.

Lady on reception accused me of not paying for the room so I showed her the screenshot of Booking.com and she just said the system was down and it was a lame excuse i thaught. I also had to wait 15 mins to check in and she let other guests in before me which I thought was disgusting. But on the plus side a really decent hotel. There was some trouble at breakfast with a man trying to get a free breakfast so staff kicked him out and police arrived 10 mins after to resolve the matter. Met up with friends for a night out around Rochdale so the location was great. Parking was £5 for 24 hrs.

The lack of staff on a very busy Saturday morning that meant breakfast was near non existent. No knives and forks, then no plates, then ran out of most of the cooked goods, no cakes left. Breakfast was a complete disaster tbh and the room was twice the price for that pleasure too.

The banana smoothie (a new addition) was very good. I believe there is a new kitchen manager. She introduced herself and was very pleasant. I also let her know that the eggs were better than previous visits.

We paid for bed and breakfast but unfortunately breakfast was a shambles. There wasn’t any cooked breakfast available as they had ran out and staff said they had not defrosted enough for the amount of people staying. There wasn’t any cups or glasses and they said the dishwasher wasn’t working and the coffee machines were also broken and we had to go out and buy breakfast elsewhere

The room was lovely and clean. So was the bathroom. The room had lovely decor. Plus it was very quiet. We heard nothing from other guests and the hotel was very busy. The lady at reception was very friendly and allowed us to check in early as the room was ready.

Breakfast! Was chaotic. No staff replenishing the buffet food. Even the cold buffet was empty plus no pastries. We had to ask for knives and forks. I got toast but no pot to put honey into. And it wasn't as if we had gone for breakfast last min we still had an hour and half before it finished. A member of staff said they were busy, which you can understand with hot foods, and having to wait but I think no excuse for there being no cold meats or cheeses. The hotel was very busy, but I think it's a shame they did not prepare for this at breakfast time.

Breakfast was very average but the location of the hotel is a big plus for the Rochdale Festival weekend.

Bar prices are expensive Can of Guiness £7.00 Cost of room for Friday night only £170 because it was Rochdale Festival weekend. The following Friday night £67 I expect to pay more but £103 is excessive !!!

Location and the breakfast was included in the price. Also the multi storey car park was opposite, when u register at the hotel the charges are reduced by 50%.

Staff were unprofessional and some were rude. Breakfast was poor, as was the service and facilities. At 10.10am, there was no clean plates or cutlery. When asked a member of staff said the dishwasher had ‘packed in’. Plates and cutlery were eventually brought out at 10.20am, all wet. When several guests Inc myself tried to then get breakfast, there was hardly anything left. I asked for sausages and bacon and was told nothing else was cooking. Several of us had had to wait for plates etc, and therefore couldn’t get food as a result. When I brought this up with a manager or supervisor (unsure of job role), she said that there’d been a rush. I explained that the hotel should know how many people they needed to cater for given how many had checked in. No food was offered. The supervision was heard telling staff off and telling them tables wouldn’t clean themselves.

Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations, considering the hotel has been open over three years, it looked and felt brand new, we can find nothing to find fault with.

It was very modern, very clean and a great location. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Also the breakfast had lots to choose from.

The only issue we had was the whole of the Hilton system went down on arrival so we weren't able to check in for around half an hour. The lady on reception tried her very best to accommodate everyone but it was something that was out of her control but she and the bar man handled it all very well and we finally were able to get into our rooms.

I like the decor and layout of hotel, I like the staff, and the flowers surrounding the hotel was beautiful. The coffee machine was nice and fresh juice in the morning. Great sized cups in bedroom.

The bathroom door was a extremely stiff sliding door. I have very poor grip in one hand but even my partner agree it was very stiff I had to go to the loo unable to shut it. Remote didn't work upon arrival but it was sorted instantly . I didn't like that everywhere advertised strawberry waffles for breakfast but there wasn't a strawberry in sight disappointed me. Cooked breakfast needs huge improvement minus the sausages they was good

Very clean hotel as was the room.

The dinner was far from advertised. I had fish and chips for £14 which contained 2 fish goujons and a small basket of fish. The goujons were dry and flavourless.

We’ve stayed here on a number of previous occasions and are never disappointed. It is remarkable value for money. The staff are very welcoming and the facilities offer all that you need. The location can’t be beaten- bang in the middle of town.

Staff extremely friendly and professional, room was excellent and the air conditioning was a welcome relief after travelling all day. Room set up was very clean and refreshing.

The room is really comfortable. Bed linen and pillows are excellent. I appreciate the bath sheet too. The fridge is a bonus. The shower is big and easy to use. There’s a very good mirror in the bathroom. The breakfast is fine just not great…no fruit salad especially this time of year when fruit is cheap. Patisserie was much better this time though. No fried eggs.

I had to leave very early so I missed breakfast but I had complimentary hot and cold drinks. The staff were ALL exceptional as was the room itself. The nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Huge bed, huge walk-in shower, huge TV with plenty of channels, sofa, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Air conditioning and hanging space. Immaculately clean and comfortable. For £83 on a Friday I thought it was exceptionally good value. And nice view of the countryside. I don’t normally write reviews for hotels but felt compelled to. I would definitely come back for a weekend trip again. My ONE AND ONLY complaint was a VERY restrictive food menu and so I would not eat dinner there again but Wouk find a restaurant near by, but other than that a wonderful and memorable experience. Food, breakfast was quite good, the dinner menu was dire, as was the food. Ate the same food for 4 nights as the small menu didn’t change. If perhaps they changed it now and again to something a bit more edible it would be good. People I noticed where sending for takeout, being disabled I didn’t trust myself to receive it.
