One room I booked with booking.com noted one of the rooms was a River View but was not. My family member did not want to change rooms so I did not ask them to make the correction.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Ebrington which was refurbished when Derry was City of Culture. It is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and bars and the city centre is a short walk away across the pedestrian Peace Bridge. Check in was efficient and courteous. Our rooms was clean and comfortable.

We found the decor rather dark and, while everything was satisfactory, we felt that it was not of the quality which the price suggested.

Excellent breakfast selection and staff were extremely efficient. Location to all the city sights and amenities was very good.

We booked a fully accessible disabled room but we were given a triple room which did not have an accessible shower. We are tired of having to call the hotel beforehand as we no longer trust Booking.com to make sure room was fully wheelchair accessible. We should have done so yet again.

Location, close to the city.

Room was smaller than expected as booked king size room. Stains on the carpets. The shower didn't work, water stayed on very hot and couldn't be changed. Reported to front desk. £6 charge for hotel residents to park their car. Not acceptable.

excellent stay everyone was so friendly and helpful food was amazing room and shower was spotless and spa was an added bonus also so central just right on the peace bridge and only ten minute walk to the train station would defo come again

Tutto perfetto, la spa a mio avviso un pochino piccola ma forse in Italia siamo abituati ad altri livelli. Ma se volete passare una serata in questo paesino, questa struttura è davvero ottima. Il ristorante e la colazione superlativi, parcheggio per 6 sterline vicinissimo. Davvero spettacolare, inoltre era il nostro anniversario e ci han fatto trovare una sorpresa in camera. Carinissimi

Ebrington is perfect! We stopped here on our road trip around Northern Ireland and it for sure and by far was the best hotel during our time in the country. Here’s why: Amazing service and staff - from the moment you arrive at reception till you leave. Everyone is super nice and even gives that bit extra that makes the difference. Atmosphere and design - we simply loved the hotel itself, corridors, facilities etc Rooms - great with everything you need! Wellness- nothing better than spending time in the pool or two saunas after a cold windy day Gym - spacious, excellent Restaurant - whether an amazing tasty dinner or great breakfast, 10 points! Location - cross the bridge and you are in city center! Parking - 6 GBP a day PS- first hotel with clear instructions in the shower (see picture), loved it!!!❤️😆😆💙 You really get the feeling nothing is missing here!!! Would love to be back at one day, however know that might not happen 🥹

The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the concierge was especially friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location and has a modern feel.

I was disappointed with the condition of the room. There were dirty marks on the floor under the table and beside the bed, and there were paint chips and marks on the walls throughout the room. For a relatively new hotel and considering the price we paid, I expected the room to be presented to a much higher standard.

Staff were extremely friendly. The people at reception in particular; a big thank you for sorting out our wet clothes! The room itself was comfortable and the view is lovely.

The thermal spa area was incredibly small and overcrowded. We also had to walk by wedding guests in our robes to get to the spa area which was a bit weird but no one’s fault, just a bad layout decision when they built the hotel. The spa area was also the only time we couldn’t have describe a staff member as warm. They were quite abrupt when we entered, and answered a polite “would you like is to write down the time now that we are leaving” question with “aye” without even looking up at us when leaving. The breakfast was extremely poor. Very limited menu to order from and the buffet would be comparable to what you would get in a budget hotel, or a deli in a shop. There was no extractor fan in our bathroom which we thought was really odd.

I like that the hotel is central and walking distance to the shops. There are plenty of lively bars nearby. Food was perfect and staff were extremely friendly.

La situation devant le pont piéton qui vous conduit droit vers la vieille ville, l’accueil, la gentillesse du staff, la chambre très agréable et confortable, le parking proche, le petit déjeuner.

The location is fantastic and an unexpected bonus that it is by a beautiful park and there are other bars and a lovely bakery.Lovely short walk down to the peace Bridge too. We went for dinner to Browns on the Hill which was a 5 min walk and was outstanding!

Receptionist at check in was lovely but it felt very scripted and a bit robotic.Also the view from our room was terrible looking over roof,pipes and a car park.

Should have stayed longer

Modern hotel built in an old Naval complex with well appointed rooms. Our room had a beautiful view across the Peace Bridge to the city which was a 10 minute walk away. Superb breakfast both buffet and à la carte. Staff were efficient and welcoming- particularly concierge Gerry who is a fount of local knowledge, and Luis in the bar - gracias Amigo! A number of other buildings in the complex have been converted into modern restaurants and cafes which is convenient.

Would have liked a small fridge in the room. Bar was a little noisy over the weekend particularly when live entertainment was playing - however the sound didn’t permeate our room.

Very relaxing atmosphere from the moment we walked into reception. Staff were extremely friendly. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The bar had great entertainment. The spa facilities were good. The hotel was in a superb location.

I found the bed and pillows just too hard and I was surprised to find soda bread is not on the menu for the Irish Breakfast. Sadly the food at breakfast was not very warm. However these are just minor details which did not spoil our stay and I would return.

I had a great 2 nights stay at The Ebrington Hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk into the city centre. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a room with a lovely panoramic view over Derry, including the Guildhall and the Peace Bridge. The hotel’s overall decor is stylish and relaxing, and the thermal suite (with generously sized relaxation pool) was a real highlight. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice and great service. We also had a lovely meal and cocktails in the Corner House Pub & Lounge. I’d definitely stay in this hotel again.

There is not much I didn't like. Breakfast offered a good overall selection, but it was missing some fresh vegetables options like tomatoes, cucumber, etc.

Breakfast was wonderful, a choice for all tastes. Staff were attentive and very welcoming. Spa access was a lovely little bonus and definitely worth visiting during your stay.

Really minor - but there’s no water in the gym, we had to ask for some to be brought over, which was done immediately but if there was a small supply of bottles in there it would have saved the team member a job!

We both had the buffet breakfast the first morning. Looked lovely but stone cold and this was at 9am. I just took cereal instead. I ordered eggs benedict the 2nd morning. It was lovely.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There was lots of space to sit and relax and the food in bar and restaurant was delicious..

Next time I will ask for a room with a view as mine was a bit dark

Fabulous location. Lovely decor. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Gerry in reception and a young very attentive barman called John Barry. They really went out of their way to be helpful. We love staying here.

The Ebrington was fab, it’s in a paved quiet square with a cute bakery and restaurant. The hotel lobby smells like a spa it’s heavenly and the decor is so stylish. The receptionist checked us in and we got to our huge room with a grand king bed and a single. Decor again so stylish. There’s tea,coffee,biscuits,water in room. Breakfast was really good. Peace bridge is 2 min walk away. We hope to stay again in future.
