Room was quite far from receptionist.

Worth the money, the service starting from the entrance was so warm. The vibe, the cleanliness were all ok. The breakfast also very good.

Except for the tv, it kept on and off while watching and I think the property can add on more channels or at least get dongle for guest to watch Netflix. Can’t even mirror link to tv from iPhone. Also during our stay there were some renovation I think going on, kinda a bit disturbing. Maybe can give a heads up earlier.

Location of my room was too far although occupancy was not high. Bellboy/porter is not stationed/ available at the 2nd lobby. Upon checking out, the receptionist was not friendly and did not check properly.

Pool, food were okay. But the room was quite far from the lobby. And as parents to 5 kids, I should request room near to lobby and pool.

Loud noise from housekeeping team at the room beside that woke us up from afternoon's nap. Noises that comparable with demolitions work. Not recommend others to stay at property, if all housekeeping are done with noises.

The self sustaining resort concept, accessible to restaurants, shopping. It's also only 8 to 10 mins from the church of St John Marie Vianney, a beautiful catholic church. Also, closeby to the train station.

Firstly Patkroyal charged me on 25th to 26th one room charged eventho I am not aware of the charges . Using unauthorised card . That was in the list. Secondly I complained but they said it's booking.com issue not theirs and totally did not make any effort to rectify.

The attitude of staff that wa just interested to sell me more rooms and not rectify the issue that am facing. . Gave us the fattest room becuz I go thru booking.com. They said if I book direct with them they can offer better room and flexibility or closer and better room. I felt there should discriminate the guest paying direct and they agent . So poor attitude from Parkroyal

Nasi lemak was so so. I think the cook is local hence why couldn't he or she make proper sambal. Why make chapati if the cook don't know the actual recipe. Very dry. Gravy was way out of line. Roti chanai was also out. All 4 in our family had same comments for above foods. Why keep drinking water faucet in toilet. Make no sense. Better to keep bottle water. It's a hotel not hostel. No welcome drink. 12 noon and it's not ready according to staff???

Overall, we had such a great stay at ParkRoyal! 🤍 The hotel is really family-friendly and perfect for travelling with kids. The location is convenient, the swimming pool is great, and our room was clean and comfortable. Everything was well taken care of, and we genuinely enjoyed our stay. Definitely a great place for a family getaway! 🥰✨

The only thing that I think could be improved is the breakfast. The food selection was okay, but personally, I found the taste quite average and it could definitely be better. Hopefully, the hotel can improve and upgrade the food quality in the future. 🥰

The staff is nice, we request a lift nearer to the room and they manage to provide us, the pool is big, the breakfast is rather satisfactory

The kids room is small and packed when all the parents is there, the playground need some maintenance and perhaps can add more playground facilities. The lift to room is only one? the wait is too long during check out timing We had a really bad experience during our dinner at Yuan restaurant, ended up the staff transfer us to the buffer downstairs for dinner compensation, to be frank the charges for buffer dinner around RM180+ is not worth it (with the dishes and choices you provide)

Easy check in, kids friendly hotel with outdoor playground, kids room, kids activities and kids friendly buffet menu. Spacious rooms and plenty of parking space. Pool lounge is nice

No EV charging station and nearest public EV charging place is around 10-15mins away from the resort which I find is not convenient. Time to upgrade! Shuttle service provided to go from resort to outlet but waited for almost 40mins for the returning trip and driver didn’t even try to explain a word. Room door is not functioning upon checking in but was solved promptly by the staff so is alright. Room cleanliness is not that great, tables are quite dusty. Wanted to enjoy the terra spa service and tried to book upon checking in but was told fully booked on a weekday, couldn’t imagine if it’s a peak holiday season or weekend. And also, the spa centre is closed on Tuesday which I find a bit not appropriate for a high end hotel to have a closed day for spa centre. Staffs at the spice restaurant were not very well versed of hotel’s surrounding. Asked about closing time of pool lounge but was told dunno and to check it out ourselves. PARKROYAL probably you need to train your staffs to maintain your overall standard. Swimming pool is nice but no control of guest swimming attires. People wearing t shirts and non swimming pants in the pool is disgusting.

The property is beautiful and family-friendly. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and complimentary parking was a great convenience.

The stay was quite expensive considering the facilities provided. The fridge did not work properly, there was no bathtub, and the swimming pool was not very clean, with visible algae. During breakfast, some buffet items were also slow to be replenished after they ran out.

went for a short family getaway. Kids love it as they can collect stamps in various station in hotels for an ice cream on the day we checked out. Breakfast spread was good,we have zumba in the pool as well on sunday, overall it was good experience and we had so much fun as family, the location near to Freeport A'Famosa Outlet was a bonus . will surely come again.,

Found 2-3 lizard's poop in couch and bed area, some dusty area,as we have dust allergy. Others parts service, food other facilities otherwise exceptional.

The staff was exceptional and very professional.

I thought cleanliness needed improving. The room still had dust and hair from previous guests. It was also a very busy weekend so there were many guests. The swimming pool was filled with too many people

Room that I was assigned to stay in had mould over the walls. Did not noticed until at night when I saw multiple whitish mould over the wooden panel. When I checked the details, mould also covered in the wardrobe. TV channel was poor. Managed to get replacement due to low season.

Throughout my stay, there was constant noise from the air conditioning units serving the ballroom. Unfortunately, my room was facing these units, and I wasn't able to get a good night's sleep because of the continuous noise.

Toilet floor can be scrubbed further as I could see the grout is black and stained. Hotel lift seemed very dark and the interior walls could use a good wiping.

Thank you Parkroyal A’Famosa for the wonderful staycation! My family and I had a wonderful stay & experience at your resort. Was greeted by the friendly receptionist, Zahid. He attended to our queries well. The rooms were spacious, clean & tidy. For breakfast, it was a huge spread! Love the Teh Tarik performance! We only managed to use the pool and gym facilities. We were a bit disappointed not to take part in the aqua zumba; we waited in the pool from 9:30am till 10am but there were no announcements if it was postponed or rescheduled. Above all, it was a great stay with friendly staffs. Will be back again!

The food at Spice Brasserie for both dinner and lunch was great. Honestly, the property looks outdated from the facade but it's totally modern when you came in, it's value for money.

I must say that the resort is super crowded and the pool looks like a public pool when it's crowded including the kids playground and kids club/room. The facilities were great but I just hope the resort is not too overcrowded as this really made our stay unpleasant. The room was clean enough, though it looks abit tired and the aircon can be hot at all times (nothing much you can do about this)

I don't like the female receptionist, Louise, at the executive lounge. Very rude and has zero respect towards guests.

The kids passport activity was nice for kids. Breakfast spread was good. Very near to the Safari Wonderland if that's the main thing you are looking for. Otherwise it is far from Melaka town center.

Overall it didn't live up to my expectations for a Parkroyal brand hotel or even any other 5 star hotel. It felt more like a good 3 star or 4 star hotel. Not worth the price paid. There was so much space but design wasn't thoughtful. Also, plastic mineral water bottles for a 5 star hotel? Staff at Spice restaurant said there were kids menu at pool lounge for lunch and sent my family down. Only to be told no there's no kids menu and we had to all walk back up to the Spice restaurant. Kids were already dead tired and hungry after a morning swim. Also, the adult pool section....the water was disgusting. It was murky and green. Please check the pool filters and clean the pool!

服务太差了，原因是我们的房间在晚上大概十点多一直有警报器的声音，一下一下的响，声音很大声，就打电话给前台，前台说会派人来查看，半个小时左右都还没有人来，再打电话，前后打了三次，还是没有人来，已经接近一点。最后我们是被逼吵着睡，一整晚难入眠。第二天直接去投诉经理，之后总监来解释及道歉。原本开开心心的，因为这事件破坏了我们对酒店的印象。

The front staff was pleasant and answered our questions kindly.

Parking area to the hotel rooms were blocked ‘for line painting’ but none of the said work were carried out throughout our 3d2n stay at ParkRoyal A’famosa. The front security closed the parking entrance and directed cars to the back entrance which was also closed forcing all cars to turn back for none of their fault. No one would be willing to use buggy (free service but usually tips are highly expected by the staffs) especially after all the hassle going round and round the parking area uselessly. Some of the staffs speaks no Malay and very minimal English which is not helpful with all the parking closure nonsense. Room was decent size but cove lighting flickered intermittently when turned off which is a nuisance but couldn’t report due to time constraints from my end. I agree with some of other reviews about mould build up which is rather disgusting. Slippers provided were very low quality for a 5star hotel- one would probably found more decent quality in a cheap 3star hotel, I’m pretty sure. Spice restaurant - not recommended because the satay for example has no authentic taste at all given premium price paid than outside. Morning breakfast buffet menu - poor because no Malay kuih muih like kuih lapis, bingka ubi, seri muka etc were served - utter disappointment. Mainly pastries and westernised sweet treats. Mee goreng was the worst because they did not use mee basah (wet noodle) but used maggi-like noodle instead which was disgraceful.

Room hygiene. The room floor feels so sticky. Idk why ,looks like the room just finish the housekeeping..but still..hmm maybe might be due to the way the PIC mop it,the chemical use or the mop was too dirty. Me and my husband had to mop using my own wet tisue for the whole room. By then its feel comfortable and clean to step in.

The service was ok

I think the quality of the room service is lacking. For example, we requested for a fork and they said it was chargeable at 5RM. This was quite astounding for a 5 star hotel. Also, the quality of tables at the breakfast was poor, with many scratch marks. A welcome drink was also not served when I checked in at 6pm, in fact the station was closed! I would have expected more for a resort like Parkroyal.

Kids friendly resort with kids playground, kids room and a swimming pool with slides. Friday night there’s movie night at the hotel lobby. Free ice cream for kids upon completing the kids passport. Breakfast spread was good and staff cleared the plates very promptly. All staff that served us was professional and courteous. The safari was a good experience. Small but enough for the family to experience something different.

The area feels a little run down. The hotel room is generally clean except for the balcony. Had dinner at the hotel and won’t recommend it. The food service was slow, portion was small and it was so tasteless. So that was a disappointment for us. It wasn’t worth the price paid for. Had to request for room slippers and the pillows were so flat and too soft

The housekeeping didnt manage to clean our room on our second day. Have to wait for 1.5 hours until the room is ready. Pool lounge didnt allow my kids to have outside food (while waiting for the room to clean) , eventho we ordered some drinks from the lounge. The kids already starving. Hope more empathy when it comes to the kids.

Nice place to enjoy resort type vacation. The buffet breakfast spread has lot of items. Out of city area.

The main issue is that none of the rooms in the property have locks on their toilet doors. The toilet and shower areas are separated by sliding doors with frosted glass panels that remain somewhat transparent, so expecting privacy while showering is unreasonable. Please address this immediately. Booking dot com was also unable to resolve it.

We were very happy with everything and would return there. They provided free shuttle to take us at the nearby outlet. They even upgraded us because there was availability. Thank you!

The staff was very cooperative, and the service was excellent. The bed size is great and very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful at night for a weekend getaway. There's no traffic around and enough security to ensure that you stay safe and secure.

The view from the higher floor room is better than from the ground floor. Breakfast option are not up to par with other Parkroyal we have stayed in.
