L’originalité de l’aménagement et de la décoration des lieux, donnant une «  âme «  à l’ensemble: mélange de modernité et de préservation du passé… Petite chambre mais très cosy et organisée avec goût… L’emplacement est idéal, très proches des différents points d’intérêt, non loin d’une place jouxtant une mosquée et doté d’arbres et de cafés-restaurants où il fait bon prendre son petit déjeuner… Et pour ce qui est des hôtes, ils sont d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité exceptionnelles!!!! À recommander vivement!!!

The location is terrific, central to restaurants, museums, and shopping, but very quiet. The owner is wonderful, helpful, informative and kind. We appreciated the special touches in our room. The hotel is full of interesting art and antiques. A real gem.

IL faut juste e savoir que l'hotel n'offre pas de petit-dejeuner mais, il y a juste a 20 m, un endroit qui sert des petit-dejeuners délicieux. Bon, la chambre était vraiment petite, mais tres propre et bien aménagée, avec une salle de bains agréable. Cet hotel a des escalier étroits comme les vieilles maisons de l'ile et n'est pas recommandé aux perosnne qui ont du mal a marcher ou monter. Mais sinon, un vrai hotel de charme.

Es war sehr schön und besonders. Wir hatten sogar eine Flasche Wein dekorativ auf unser Bett gestellt, bekommen. Danke für den herzlichen Empfang!

The owner was both kind and amazing, The room was very well equipped and in a great location and offered good value for money. The decor in the entrance lobby and surrounds is really attractive.

Didn't really have a hotel feel to it. Also if you have large suitcases its a bumpy journey from the bus stop or taxi rank due to the cobbled streets.

Otelin konumu çok iyiydi, limana çok yakın olduğu için adaya iner inmez çok zorlanmadan oteli bulabiliyorsunuz. Gezilecek yerler ve restoranlar 5 dk mesafede. Otel bir tiyatro sahnesini andırıyor. Her köşesinde ayrı bir sanat eseri var. Sahibi de çok güleryüzlüydü. Çok memnun kaldık.

Eski sehrin merkezinde yer alan son derece temiz ve konforlu odalara sahip olan bir otel. Odalarda ihtiyac duyacaginiz her sey var. Sanatci olan sahibi de cok yardimsever ve guleryuzlu,otele bir sanatci eli degdigini kapidan girdiginiz anda anlayabilirsiniz. Ayrica odaya birakilan sarap da cok hoş bir incelikti.

L' atmosfera della struttura e il suo arredamento, ispirato al teatro, con pezzi di antiquariato, libri e in un ambiente pieno di storia e cultura. Ma soprattutto la gentilezza di Apostolos e la passione e l' entusiasmo con cui ci ha raccontato del suo hotel e del suo lavoro nel teatro.

Al estar tener restaurantes cerca con música por la noche es un poco ruidoso.

Konaklamamız boyunca ihtiyacımız olan her konuda bize yardımcı oldu ve kendimizi çok rahat hissetmemizi sağladı. Otelin atmosferi çok güzel ve otantik; hatta fotoğraflarda göründüğünden çok daha güzel. Odamız hem çok romantik hem de tertemizdi. Evlilik yıldönümümüz için gelmiştik ve odaya girdiğimizde yatağımızın üzerinde bizi bekleyen bir şarap ve iki kadeh görmek çok hoş ve ince düşünülmüş bir sürprizdi. 🍷❤️ Her şeyiyle çok memnun kaldığımız, kendimizi özel hissettiğimiz bir konaklama oldu. Özellikle otel sahibinin ilgisi, güler yüzü ve yardımseverliği deneyimimizi daha da güzelleştirdi. Kesinlikle gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ediyoruz. Rodos’a tekrar geldiğimizde mutlaka yeniden burada kalacağız! We had an absolutely wonderful stay, The hotel owner is genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful people we have met. He helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel is beautiful and authentic — honestly, it is even more charming in person than in the photos. Our room was spotless, cozy, and very romantic. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and when we arrived, we found a bottle of wine and two glasses waiting for us on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and lovely surprise. 🍷❤️ We were extremely happy with our entire experience. The owner’s kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help with absolutely everything made our stay even more special. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rhodes. We will definitely stay here again when we come back! ❤️

Great location in medieval town. Comfy bed, air con, clean room and bathroom, helpful host with good communication before stay.

Downstairs lounge dusty and kitchen at the back had mouldy food waste visible.

the bath was terrible slippery and i fell very badly and hit my head at the wall. they should check bath surfaces especially when the bath is used as the shower base !!

Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Lage ist genial, trotz Zentrum ist es nachts sehr ruhig. In wenigen Gehminuten steht ein riesiges touristisches und kulinarisches Angebot zur Verfügung.

Should of stayed another night.

The hotel is just in the middle of Old Town, close to all locations, restaurants and bars. The room is clean with all the needed facilities and feels like home. Apostolos, the host, is very helpful and sincere.

The hotel premises is small and a little bit squeezed. If you have large luggages, it would be hard to carry them through the stairs. Although it is a hotel there is no reception. So all the openning and closing of the main door is on the guests. Since there was no balcony in our room, it was hard to dry the bikinis and sea towels.

The Hotel is located in a central atmospheric area of the ancient Old Town of Rhodes. Although we didn't meet the hotel owner he phoned and messaged us on a number of occassions and we were presented with a gift on our arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Quality bed linen and a comfortable mattress ensured a good nights sleep.

Vehicle transport is not permitted in the area of the Old Town where we were staying and it was extremely difficult to get to the hotel with luggage over the cobbled streets. It would have been helpful if we had been informed of this, particularly as we are in our advanced years and had been travelling for over 12 hours. We booked the room for two, my husband and myself, and although tea and coffee facilities were available but only for one person, milk was also missing. There were no staff available to help.

Carmen Hotel did not supply breakfast (though you said it did and you also stated that the owner would pick us up from the airport)! We cannot find words enough to describe the hotel. It was so fantastic! So amazing! The best hotel we ever stayed in! PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! The owner - Apostolos, was so kind, so friendly and kept asking us if there was anything we needed. We would recommend this hotel to any friend of ours, who respects a five star hotel with beautiful decor. Our bedroom had everything we needed and the owner was truly 'a one-off owner' - so-so kind!

A beautiful small hotel in the centre of the old town. As it was low season, I had the whole place to myself! But the owner wentt out of his way to make me feel welcome; he was kind, friendly and generous.

Very quirky, lots of interesting artistic decor in a nice, quiet location tucked not too far away from the main tourist streets in Rhodes Old Town.

A little bit quiet - I didn’t actually meet anyone else or the owner at the Hotel. Having said that, Apostolos - the owner, was fantastically attentive to any needs when I got in touch with him.

Great central location in the old town, but on a quiet street. The decoration was very personal, and the host was very nice and helpful with a couple of great tips for where to eat. The room was small but comfortable and clean.

There were no staff at the hotel, so it wasn't really a hotel. E.g there was a bar but it was closed because there were no staff there.

Lovely property and great location.

We found the property to be dark and despite all the memorabilia around it felt like it had lost its soul. There was a lovely bar that we never sat in as it was never open. When we mentioned it to the owner he said he didn’t open it as his guests preferred it to be quiet and relaxed. He said he opened it in the winter for his theatre friends and had wonderful parties. We do not like loud places but we found this just too quiet and uninviting. The owner was lovely but we felt he only did what he had to do and had little interest in his guests. I am sure that once upon a time this was everything we thought it would be but it seems to have lost its way. Sadly we will not return but if you want complete quiet with no person contact this is the place for you.

Fantastic location. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Lovely gift of a bottle of wine. Very friendly owner who called to make sure everything was okay.

The room was quite small for two people, a bit of a squeeze!

What a lovely and intimate hotel. The location is perfect, the building and the room are really cozy and pleasant. It's located right at the center of the magnificent old town, yet in a very quiet street.

Located in an ancient narrow alley in Rhodes old city. Very atmospheric, inside is querky and tastefully decorated. The room, while small had a comfy bed in a romantic alcove. The owner, Apostolas, is a charming, friendly person who went out of his way to ensure we had a trouble free and comfortable stay, despite it being just for one night. This was our second stay here, enroute to a fortnight on Symi and as before, it surpassed expectations.

We liked it all, nothing negative to say.

Lovely part of Old Rhodes Town. Close to some excellent restaurants and bars but a quiet spot, no noise. Streets are like a maze but exploring is fun and that's the way to find lovely family run tavernas and bars - cheaper than the restaurants on main thoroughfare. Hotel is smart but quirky. Good room size, comfortable bed, thankfully a good aircon system and fridge. Nice decor. Let people know there is a decent supermarket 2 streets below on the right called Bazaar - it's signposted, obviously cheaper for cold drinks, milk etc. Owner gave us some excellent restaurant names to try along with recommendations to visit Lindos (Acropolis) and Symi island - we did and downloaded an app called Get Your Guide to book and pay - they were excellent too. Lots of walking required so good clothes and footage required and a beach bag for towels, cream water etc.

Was a shame that the hotel bar and restaurant was unavailable, would have been nice to use those facilities as again very nicely done - breakfast was available 50 meters along the street called Porca Vacca - run by 2 lovely ladies. Food excellent. Hotel discounted stay to cover cost, and if being honest it was nice. Nothing to dislike.

only arrived late and left early so no time to explore and experience the common areas or facilities outside the room, but the communication was brilliant, self check-in was easy, and beautiful room with all the amenities, a beautiful bed and bathroom
