Well maintained property

The living and dining hall floor is sticky and not as clean as the rooms.

The property is located next to Theme park and hence most of us come in about 10-11am. While I understand early checkin is not possible at all at least bag keeping and registration can be made easy.

The facility is very nice - well located near theme park and hence there is nothing we can say that we dont like.

I stay for 3 night, with 3 different unit.. but twice my room not ready at 3pm although check in policy is 3pm onwards.. both day the room ready after about 330

Room is good for family

The accommodation was spacious and located directly opposite the swimming pool. The surrounding area was very pleasant, family-friendly, and felt safe. There is a grocery store behind the building, which was very convenient. The kitchen is small but functional and sufficient for basic needs. There were construction works taking place directly in front of the balcony during our stay, which is something future guests may want to be aware of.

Unfortunately, the check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. We were required to pay a RM200 security deposit by bank transfer. As an international tourist without a Malaysian bank account, I was not comfortable transferring money from my own bank account to an unfamiliar overseas account, particularly because international transfers of this nature can sometimes raise unnecessary questions with banks in one's home country. As a result, I had to ask our driver to make the bank transfer from his personal account on our behalf, which was quite embarrassing and inconvenient. A credit card payment link, cash deposit, or another tourist-friendly payment option would be much more appropriate. Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 p.m., and our request for an early check-in was declined, which we fully accepted. However, despite arriving at the official check-in time, the property was still not ready. We had to remain waiting in the car until approximately 4:40 p.m. before being allowed to enter. This delay affected our sightseeing schedule for that day. To their credit, we were later compensated with a late check-out, which we appreciated.

This is not our first time staying here so coming back here is a gem for us. We love the nature and spacious facilities. It’s a quieter side of ipoh 15 mins away from town.

The management seems to be lacking in communication. It’s odd that customers have to initiate the communication rather than the management reaching out to us. Although paying deposit via online and the pdf instructions were clear and helpful, the check in time wasn’t on time. They said 3pm and when I arrived they did not notify me that the room was ready so when I arrived at 3pm requesting for the QR to check in, they said room isn’t ready and had to wait for almost 1 hour. There was no proper place to wait in the building so we had to go somewhere else and come back later. We didn’t mind waiting unless they notify us earlier that the room won’t be ready on time so we could at least take a detour somewhere else before checking in. Of course after an hour waiting they promptly sent the room details and we were able to check in. The lack of communication really is a problem considering we’re traveling from far on a long journey it can be a tiring day, it’s best if we could be notified ahead of the check in time.

La estancia fue decepcionante por la falta de higiene general (polvo acumulado y baño sucio) y la mala calidad de las toallas, viejas y escasas (solo una por persona y cobran por darte más). El check-in resultó muy confuso. Lo peor fue la piscina: aplican un código de vestimenta extremadamente estricto e inflexible para mujeres que no informan en Booking, impidiéndonos usarla al no disponer de la ropa exigida. Poco transparente y muy mala relación calidad-precio.

The house are really big n super clean. Have a great hospitalities and very comfortable for a big group of family.

We were informed by the property that the check-out time was 12:00 PM. Although the key was placed in the mailbox at 12:30 PM, we had already checked out of the unit on time. We only drove the car down and returned the key afterward, as the mailbox is located near the guardhouse. Despite explaining the situation, the property still deducted RM50 from our deposit and insisted on the deduction. I feel that this was unfair and unnecessary. We have stayed in the same condominium many times with different owners, and we have never encountered such an issue before. This experience is very disappointing.

- cleanliness of the room i.e bedsheets, floors, kitchen utensils, bathrooms. - good assistance from security - very spacious carpark upstairs - good to have washing machine in the house. But it would be even better if there is a dryer as well.

- no vacuum. I'm a housewife that love clean environment especially floor. Eventhough there is a broom located at the balcony but I'm not keen to use that broom to sweep the floor inside.

Very close to tourist attractions

Apartment was nice, pool and onsen pool was good.

Need to replace some items that are worn. Access road narrowed due to ongoing construction of the mall.

View and location nice 👍 And price also reasonable I will come again next hopefully new Sunway shopping mall is open now still under construction

nice unit with theme park view.. clean, and comfortable. Perhaps you can provide a prayer mat as well, it will be very convenient for muslim to perform prayer..

The swimming pool water tasted weird, a bit salty. my daughter had a stomach ache after accidentally drinking the water.

The unit was clean and had everything that we could need and even more. The check in was smooth and clear, the staff responsive and the building itself is great

The management staff were polite and responsive, and even provided slippers when requested. There was a fancy water filter system. They were also nice enough to give late checkout of 1 hour.

They only provided 2 pairs of slippers for 3 guests. Would have been nice if they can pay more attention to details like this. The card reader for the apartment is so finicky. There is only 1 angle that will read the card successfully, and it's somewhere between 0 to 90 degrees! We had to tap many many times to get the door to open. Also it's expensive. We found another apartment with same layout, same view for less than the price we paid for this. Perhaps it was off peak. However, the management company would not match the price (we checked that the unit was available), so we just moved to another unit for the next few days.

The facilities are good, and place very clean

The villa itself was good, clean, and comfortable, and overall the stay was pleasant for my family. We purchased the villa and the facilities met our expectations. However, I was disappointed with the host’s attitude and flexibility. According to the WhatsApp message, the check-out time was stated as 11:00 AM, and it was also mentioned that an extension was possible with an additional charge (RM50 per hour). I checked in quite late, around 9–10 PM, and I was staying with my family and three young children. The following morning, I requested a short extension and was willing to pay the stated additional fee. Unfortunately, this request was declined, and I was strictly instructed to check out by 11:00 AM. This was upsetting, as the message about paid extension gave the impression that some flexibility would be considered. While the property itself was good, the lack of understanding and flexibility from the host significantly affected our overall experience. I hope future guests are given clearer expectations and more considerate communication, especially families with young children.

The owner not pick up phone, nor pick up watapp phone. take an hour to slowly chat in the watapp. owner not reply immediately. very complicated check in procedure, not recommanded for elder, terrible owner unhelpful, request RM500 deposit. deposit maybe not returned. cleaning fee required. Bed sheets had stains... room smelt of raw sewage and our toilet didn't work. cockroacher in the toilet. This Homestay is the worst one which we have ever visited... destroyed our whole vacation. Don't visit this place.
