Solaiman and Zakaria warmly and enthusiastically showed care for us as guests. For example, Solaiman went to look for and helped us to retrieve a backpack we had left near the taxi area and Zakaria patiently showed me how to open the room door by applying a little pressure until the door handle could be replaced.

The room door was difficult to unlock and open from the inside, however, Solaiman and Zakaria promptly came to assist when they heard we were having difficulty with the door handle.

Very clean and very friendly staff.

Only the water pressure might run low if the rooftop pool is turning on.

At first, the location is rather overwhelming. But wonderful at the same time.

Everything was good. There was a slight smell in the bathroom but this is to be expected when staying in the Medina.

The place is very clean and cozy. We also loved the breakfast

L’établissement est propre, confortable et le personnel est vraiment serviable, surtout Solaiman et Zakaria qui m’ont déjà accompagnée jusqu’au lieu de rencontre des taxis à 6h du matin.

Sehr schoene Terasse, sehr bequemes Bett und schoene Einrichtung. Klimaanlage im Zimmer, schoenes Bad und tolle Handtuecher, auch wenn sie nicht gebuegelt waren. Soulaiman und Zacharia waren sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich, was den Aufenthalt im Hotel um einiges aufgewertet hat. Auch das restliche Personal war freundlich. Das Frühstück auf der Terasse hat uns auch gefallen.

Bademantel und Pantoffeln waeren schoen gewesen. :)

Personnel très gentil et serviable toujours là pour quoi que ce soit , ils nous en même servie le petit déjeuner plus tôt car notre vol était tôt. Je recommande fortement .

Aménagement intérieur et décoration. Avec une mention spéciale pour la terrasse.

The staff was the best part of this stay. Zakaria and the team were so polite, courteous and accommodating. I love that i was greeted with tea, water and dates. Breakfast was excellent as well!

Only two thoughts - guests should get a key that also opens the front door. The towels were very rough and hard.

Great location within the Medina; a small, comfortable,friendly, stylish hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere. We were really well looked after by the amazing Soulemain, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Überaus freundliches Personal- wir wurden direkt am Flughafen abgeholt, kurz vor dem Riad muss man aussteigen und den Rest zu Fuß gehen, ca.5-10 Minuten, wir wurden dabei sogar abgeholt und begleitet. Wir wurden direkt mit Süßigkeiten und Minztee begrüßt. Das Riad an sich ist wirklich traumhaft- sehr modern, gemütlich, wunderschön eingerichtet! Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss, es konnte trotz Glaswände gut abgedunkelt werden. Das Bett war eines der bequemsten das ich auf Reisen je erlebt habe! Wir konnten sogar früher einchecken, was für uns ein Traum war da wir schon um 6 Uhr morgens losgeflogen waren. Im Zimmer gab es auch Hausschuhe, Bademantel und Netflix für gemütliche Fernsehabende. Im Bad gab es eine Wärmelampe, Rituals Pflegeprodukte, ausreichend Handtücher.. diese Kleinigkeiten machen einen Urlaub perfekt. Das Frühstück war auch ausgesprochen gut!

Gar nichts, wenn dann maximal, dass es nicht ganz günstig ist für marokkanische Verhältnisse aber es ist es auf alle fälle wert!

La calefacción era un poco escasa

Nous avons été accueillis à l'aéroport de Marrakech par un chauffeur, puis par un gentil membre du personnel qui nous a guidé jusqu'au riad (4 minutes de marche - 3 minutes sans bagages). Il nous a immédiatement servi thé, muffins et eau. Nous savions alors que nous aurions un excellent séjour chez Yves. Nous avons adoré notre expérience. Notre chambre était luxueuse et moderne, tout en gardant le charme d'un riad. Le lit était spacieux et confortable. Le déjeuner était copieux et succulent. Il était possible de choisir son déjeuner au moment de l'arrivée. La terrasse permettait de profiter du soleil de Marrakech. L'emplacement était excellent - dans un lieu calme, à environ 18 minutes à pied de Jemaa El Fna. Le personnel était attentif. Un manuel sur le riad et le Maroc était dans la chambre. Nous avons adoré qu'il s'agisse d'un plus petit riad (4 chambres), ce qui assurait l'intimité et le calme. Nous reviendrions sans hésiter.

Nous avons voyagé à Marrakech à la fin décembre, où le temps est plus frais. La chambre était donc plutôt froide, mais il y avait une couverture additionnelle et un foyer électrique. L'eau de la douche était aussi froide. Cependant, ces éléments ne changent pas notre appréciation du riad et notre intention d'y revenir.

Das Yves ist ein kleines Boutique Hotel mit familiärem Flair, die Mitarbeitenden sind super nett, hilfsbereit, kommunikativ, man hat das Gefühl, unter Freunden zu sein. Ein besonderer Dank gilt den netten Damen vom Frühstück und natürlich Zakaria und Solaiman. Das Frühstück war lecker, das Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch top, man ist inmitten der Altstadt in den verwinkelten Gassen, aber dennoch zentral.

My stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The property is situated in a peaceful corner of Marrakech, away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, yet close enough to reach the key attractions with ease. The hotel itself enchants with its intimate atmosphere , beautiful traditional interiors and a well-kept courtyard create a perfect place to relax. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions and offer recommendations on what to see nearby. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Breakfast was tasty and served in a pleasant, calm setting. An ideal place for anyone looking for the authentic atmosphere of Marrakech while appreciating peace and comfort. I highly recommend it and would gladly return.

From time to time, a slight sewage smell was noticeable in the room. It wasn’t very bothersome, but it may be worth the staff’s attention.Installing a siphon would likely solve the issue completely.

THE YOUNG MAN AT THE FRONT WAS KIND, THE INTERIOR WAS DARK BUT CLEAN HOWEVER GETTING TO THE LOCATION WAS HORRENDOUS, SO MUCH SO THAT WE DID NOT STAY HERE, WE CHECKED OUT AND STAYED IN ANOTHER LOCATION.

LOCATION, CLEANLINESS. LOCATION IS SCARY, WE FELT VERY UNSAFE. THE ATTACHED PHOTO IS THE GOOD SIDE :( THEY ALSO CHARGED US EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT STAY HERE.

We are more than happy about our choice! ThE YVES hotel is modern and nicely decorated with a good taste, featuring is a modern design with a traditional Moroccan touch - which we really like. Location of the hotel is perfect, you can really just walk to everywhere. We never took a taxi during our stay in Marrakesh. The surroundings feels safe even though its pretty central. Hotel staff were extremely nice, especially the reception Solaiman, he has been so attentive and caring, making sure that we felt comfortable during our stay. Very thankful to that! Breakfast was prepared every day fresh and it was delicious!

The only minor is - and i guess its unavoidable by all Riad - the sound proof, especially if you have neighbour guests who unfortunately were not caring if they were talking too loud or shutting the door too strong.

De locatie was erg goed (midden in het centrum en stil) en daarnaast een prima kamer en zeer gastvrij team.

It is a no brainer 10. Very nice hotel with an absolutely cozy atmosphere, and furniture. Modern but still medina riad feeling. Excellent staff, helping in everything. They prepare your breakfast based on your requirements. You really feel like a private guest. The room and the bathroom are spacious, comfortable, with nice interior. The rooftop is relaxing. Everything is close.

The neighbourhood is not the nicest, but safe and it cannot ruin the overall experience. A bit cold, but rooms can be heated.

The staff is excellent. We we met at 1 AM and escorted to the riad. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were a good size and clean. I will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Marrakesh.

I love that the place gave me a great feel of authenticity to the Moroccan culture. The staff(Soliman) was amazing. It took a minute to understand what was meant by a Riad in the old city, but after the first night. I was happy. Breakfast was great (served at any time in the afternoon). And the rooms were nice and cool after the hot afternoon of exploring.

If you're from the west, you might assume a Riad is just a boutique hotel. Understand that its more like a family home.

J’ai beaucoup aimé la situation géographique de ce Riad les alentours sont parfaits pour se balader au cœur de la Médina. J’ai adoré le calme et la tranquillité de ce Riad , que se soit pour travailler ou se reposer vous ne serez pas déranger, la chambre était très comfortable ainsi que la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner sur le toit au levé du soleil était un de mes moments préférés. Le personnel était aux petits soins ; Solaiman et Zakaria se sont occupés de moi avec toute leur attention, je n’ai manqué de rien.

Ce n’est pas un point faible, il faut simplement noter que le Riad se trouve dans la médina il faut marcher un peu pour y accéder.

Wat mij het meest beviel aan mijn verblijf in deze riad was zonder twijfel het personeel. Ze waren stuk voor stuk vriendelijk, gastvrij en altijd bereid om te helpen. Ook de hygiëne in de kamers en gemeenschappelijke ruimtes was prima in orde. Schoon en verzorgd. De riad ligt in een beveiligd deel van de stad, wat in alle drukte van Marrakech echt voor een prettig en veilig gevoel zorgde. Je kunt er met een gerust hart tot rust komen na een dag in de medina.

Er waren echter ook een paar punten die minder prettig waren. De badkamer had alleen een regendouche, wat op zich prima is, maar de afvoer kon het water niet goed verwerken. De put liep telkens vol, waardoor je óf tussendoor de kraan moest uitzetten óf moest wachten voordat iemand anders kon douchen. Dat was jammer en soms onhandig. Verder was het ontbijt elke dag exact hetzelfde. Iets meer variatie had het verblijf echt aangenamer kunnen maken. Tot slot waren er behoorlijk wat katten in de buurt. Hoewel dat misschien bij de sfeer van de medina hoort, zorgde het soms voor overlast, met name vanwege de kattenpoep rondom en op het terras van het verblijf.

Very good and safe location

I came back to this riad after an unforgettable first stay in April, and once again, we felt completely at home. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us like family. They knew it was my birthday not that long ago and they decorated my room with balloons and flowers. I didn’t think our first experience could be topped — but they did it! All the staff, but specially Zakaria and Soulayman, who have earned a special place in my heart, made our stay truly exceptional with their kindness, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. On the other hand, the rooms are the perfect size, always clean and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. Every detail was perfect. I’ve never met anyone like them who work with their pure intentions to make you feel as happy and comfortable as they can. Thank you for making us feel so special!

Yves Marrakech is ideal for short (1-2 day) stays: a clean, quaint, 4-room, Moroccan bed and breakfast riad (traditional Moroccan structure built around a central courtyard) with all of the necessary amenities (running water, air conditioning, comfortable bedding, Wi-Fi, TV etc) situated in the Medina / old town in Marrakech. The team of Zakaria and Solaiman at the reception is kind and helpful and will do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable. I appreciated their professionalism, close attention to detail, and their around-the-clock support. You should know that, like many other properties in the Medina, this property is not located on the main road - one has to negotiate the small alleyways for 5 minutes by foot although you will be met by a member of the reception team on arrival. Even though the neighbourhood seemed and felt secure, the location made me re-schedule some of the activities I had pre-booked that either had a very early start or a late finish simply because I was traveling solo. I stayed in chambre no.4, which was spacious and appeared to me just as displayed on Expedia.com. However, there seemed to be a slight plumbing and ventilation issue in the room in terms of the smell of raw sewage that would waft into or settle in the room at times. It also felt like the air conditioning was inadequate for the space at times, so I also requested a fan for the room, which I was provided with promptly.

The property was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and peacful. It has modern conviences and artistic design in one of the nicer historic areas. They even had a well written, complete handbook containing great information about the hotel amenities, nearby food and entertainment, available activities and other interesting and useful information. The staff was great and accodating.

The riad is completely renovated, very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nice, they couldn't be better!

the riad is located at the old town (inside the medina) you must walk 5m on foot, a car can't reached. Sometimes we felt a sewage smell, coming from de bathroom. Both situations are very normal in Marrakech
