Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall

Everything is good, mall is empty as not on weekends.

This time i rated 7 because on check out day, at 1035am housekeeping staff knocked on the door twice. I open the door slightly and he told me he was ordered to clean up the room and showed me a whatsapp message. I told him i haven't leave yet so i will checkout at 1130am and he can clean up then. He again tell me that he has orders to clean up the room( maybe communication problem he has limited english vocab). I just told him to clean up later when i check out and closed the door. So it was an unpleasant experience this time as i did not request early check out neither have i did online checkout as no email was sent. Please avoid this type of matter from happening again. Thank you.

Very good!

New interior

No soundproofing and door at 1508 need to adjust both main door and toilet. Cause unnecessary noise

Not allowed to reserve table for breakfast

The host in the toilet leaks

Staff are friendly. Clean and well mantain.

Good environment and just above paradigm mall

Link to the mall and convenient. Quite spacious. Got swimming pool.

First night: the towels of both rooms were smelly. Yes very smelly. Noise from the corridor can be heard. Changed towels the next day. No more smelly. Corridor at 11th floor and the lift area has strange smell too. No view outside the window and the place was messy outside.

Breakfast buffet was decent. Overall clean rooms however the bath towels did not smell fresh or well washed.

Room number: 1209. The lightings in the toilets are too dim. Please see if more spotlights can be installed. The bidet spray pressure was too strong, and there was no way to adjust as the lever seemed spoilt. The glass door in the toilet makes a screeching sound when open/closed. If you need to use makeup, there is no mirror with a sitting area where u can use ur makeup or adjust ur hairdo. The mirror is placed in an awkward location in the room where the bag is stored. Pillows were too flat, but the comforter was good.

Weekdays no crowd at all, both in mall and hotel!

Nothing much.

Breakfast was great. Room was great and clean. Convenient access to mall with lots of stuff to do. Amazing overall

Request to open up bookings to rooms with bathtubs

The ambience and the location connecting to the shopping mall.

This is my 2nd stay and like the location and size of the room. Mall is not as crowded as others.

Shower area has signs of mold

Breakfast not much variety, can improve. Htl stay very good (3rd time stayed here), comfortable, staff friendly. Location very good. Overall pleasant stay here.

Can improve on breakfast, not much variety. Other than that all I like 👍

Very convenience

So far all good

Room size is huge and cleanliness is top notch.

Friendly and very hospitable receptions.

Connected to the mall. Friendly staff.

No in room dinning option. Carpark cost rm6

Clean. Connected to Paradigm Mall. Has swimming pool.

Our room has a handicap toilet, so there is no glass partition for shower. Water can splash out easily. Do not like the toilat to be wet after showering.

Review for Hyatt Place Johor I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Johor. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable — a great choice for both leisure and business travelers. A special mention goes to two reception staff members, Aini and Lawrence, who were incredibly patient and helpful during check-in. We faced an issue when our credit card didn’t work initially during payment, but both of them handled the situation calmly and professionally. They reassured us, guided us through the process, and eventually helped resolve the issue smoothly. Their kindness and dedication truly made a stressful moment much easier. Overall, the combination of a nice hotel environment and excellent service from staff like Aini and Lawrence made our stay memorable. I would definitely recommend Hyatt Place Johor

Big adjacent mall, decent pools especially for kids. Useful sofa bed. Decent size rooms with table and chair for work.

Car park level is very high up and not free, need to validate at 6RM. Some bedsheets had stains. Breakfast selection limited though decent and local themed.

Highly convenient. Clean, good aesthetics. Well designed bathroom.

The swimming pool is very plain but that’s ok.

Easy access to shopping mall

Early morning, the mall smells bad and air-conditioning could have been switched on slightly earlier. Around 8.30 instead of after 9.

Front desk staffs were very accommodating and able to address all enquires

Absolutely nothing.

Love the place, clean and convenient.

Nothing really

Water from tap was brownish.. staff was quick to service however it turn brownish again shortly. They were ready to change us to another room. Staff service was excellent but facilities to improve.

Location. It is connected to the mall. Individual aircon control, daily housekeeping and replenishment of amenities.

The shower water flow was very slow

Good location and spacious room. The breakfast spread was also good.

repeat stay - perfect location with a mall with lots of shopping/food options, and spacious room

observation: limited tv channel options. But would not affect me returning to stay again!

Convenient access for my mum on wheelchair to the mall

The staff is helpful and friendly and service is flexible

The breakfast menu is very good & delicious.

Spacious room for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (5 & 7 yo). We got a king size bed and a sofa bed for my husband. I like that the room has purposeful furniture and many plugs in the room. Room was clean and breakfast was good with a nice atmosphere and great space. Hotel is linked to mall very convenient for fams with young kids.

The airconditioning feels abit unstable. We put it at 22 deg but it wasnt as cold as i expected it to be.

Clean and spacious room

next to paradigm mall Hotel is clean and room is spacious

Everything

Nothing

The Location.The Staff.Kids friendly.Family Oriented.

No bathtub.No smart TV.

The hotel was not able to accommodate king bedroom when we checked in. Partner platform does not have other room type to select

Usual hangout mall and hotel. Staff always read the hotel requests and is accomodating..

Maybe provide more seating chairs at ground level?

The room was big and spacious. Access to the mall was the best thing. Very clean.

Nothing. All great.

Easy access from carpark to lobby. Fast and efficient check-in and attended by very friendly staff.

The room pillow was too soft for the head.

Location of the property. It is linked to Paradigm Mall, making a short visit to the mall easy.

The pillows in the room is not suitable for sleeping. My neck is a bit achy in the morning. The thickness of the pillows can be improved for quality sleep.

It is spacious and clean. Accessible direct to mall.

Will be great if they have toddler stool for the toddler to use in the toilet.

Friendly

Next to shopping mall

Breakfast spread was a good range, the staffs was excellent and attentive, special thanks to chef Hanaifah whom cooked a vegetarian dish specially for my mum whom is a vegetarian, whom I'm feel really appreciated!

The location was slightly far otherwise everything was positive

Celebrated my husband's 50th Bday & requested for a complimentary cake or a small decoration. They obliged sending a surprise cake to the room. Made hubs day😊 Reception staff also gave us a spacious room saying its the best room with good view. Indeed it was spacious & very clean.

Shower area drainage was bad. When showering water seeped out to the toilet bowl area. That portion if corrected will be perfect 👌

Very nice rooms and such convenient location!

Still have to pay for parking.

When we last day we ask for late check out the receptionist can gv us till 1.30pm. wow that's great 👍 thank you team Hyatt place for the comfortable stay

Big clean room. Comfortable bed. Swimming pool. Connect to the mall directly.

Breakfast price is at the high side.

Connected to mall

Mall isn’t great. Our room comes with a bath tub and I’ll say please avoid this room type. The edge of the tub is so wide it’s so difficult to get in and out. The shower is integrated with the tub. There is no shower screen and shower water will splash out of the tub onto the floor of the bathroom. This is a safety hazard especially for the elderly and children.
