Staffs were mostly very kind and friendly. Their services were good.

The breakfast is really horrible and the manuals of how to use things don’t exist. I had to call staffs a lot in the beginning.

샤워부스및 세면대 배수가 잘 안되었고 샤워기는 고정이 잘안되어서 위치조정을 수시로 해줘야 했으며 툭히 복도에서 사람들 말소리가 울려서 잘 들리고 새벽에 캐리어 바굴러가는 소리와 복더에 울려퍼지는 큰목소리에 놀라서 빈번히 잠에서 깼습니다.

The room was quite large clean and well equipped. There wasn’t a restful communal area. The dining/breakfast area was as close as it got. The pool was nice however there were only about 6 beds to relax on.

The hotel was not a place to relax, except in your room. The food was essentially Filipine / Korean with no compromise. It looked as though the hotel was close to a beach but it was inaccessible. You had to take an hourly shuttle to the end of the main beach car park or a tuk tuk.

I think the staff did their best but the hotel needs an upgrade

We had a very disappointing experience at Dolphin Bay Resort Panglao. Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel to inform them that I am highly allergic to dust and mold and kindly asked if they could properly sanitize the room. They responded that my safety was their priority, which reassured me. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room clearly had visible mold — both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. This was extremely concerning given my prior message. We immediately requested another room. The second room was slightly better, but still had mold and what felt like dust mites in the air. It was not suitable for someone with severe allergies. For the sake of my health, I was forced to sleep on the balcony to avoid a severe allergic reaction. By the third day of our stay, my allergies flared up badly anyway. We had no choice but to cut our stay in Panglao short and return to Manila earlier than planned, as all the better hotels in the area were fully booked. Changing our flights cost us a significant amount of money. We paid for six nights but were only able to stay for three. The hotel informed us they could not provide a refund because we booked through Booking. However, it felt like there was no real effort to find a solution or show flexibility given the circumstances. This situation had a serious impact on both our health and finances. I hope this honest review helps future guests — especially those with allergies — make an informed decision.

Make up of rooms was very poor. Some days the rooms were not cleaned or restocked. Toilets kept blocking up.

Расположение далеко от моря, ну т.е оно как бы есть, но там парковка и хижины местных, до нормального пляжа идти 15 минут. Отель большой, 2 корпуса, но по факту заселено только 2 этажа. Вай фай слабый. Нет ножного полотенца. Курить нельзя нигде, только за отелем. Скудный мыльно-рыльный и чайный набор. Воду дают в кувшинах. Нет халатов, тапочки резиновые многоразовые. Плохо моют пол, все время песок. Рядом нет магазинов и кафе.

Personalen var väldigt trevliga. Toaletten lite trång och ingen duschdörr så mycket vatten hamnade utanför. Avloppet i duschen var nästan tätt så det tog lång tid att rinna undan. Men annars helt okej.

Okay properly! Probably only time I will come to Bohol. Near by Alona Beach was dirty with wild dogs. The road and walk up to the beach leave something to be desired. Fortunately, on the 2nd day our tier guide showed us better places.

Hotel was new.

Hotel was nice at first, on booking.com it had a very good rate. But once we checked into the hotel there was additional fees for another person per room. When there was no mention of this online at all. Normally a hotel room should be able to accommodate a total of four people, but when you use the 0.5 view on your photos, it makes the bed look a lot bigger than it is. The standard rooms could only accommodate TWO people. Resulting from in us needing to request a roll out bed. Which is usually free. However this place required that we pay an additional 1200 pesos per head AND an additional 1200 pesos per roll out bed. Which is absurd. There needs to be more mention of additional fees that may be there!!!!!!

the jpyel needs updating...the location is not good...the road is very dark.. the room was with bad smell.. water in the shower changed from hot to cold all the time.. breakfast was bad.. will never stay there again

Access to the pool from our room was a bonus. Transport into town and the beach was excellent.

Noise from other guests in the corridor during the night as well as the room above. Breakfast was adequate only.

The property is just not worth its price tag. Showerhead doesn't work properly although there is water pressure. The swimmiing pool while large enough looked dirty that I didn't want to take a swim although I had a pool-access. Daily cleaning is inadequate where they only made-up the bed, and whatever they cleaned the floor with had a weird odor to it. Definitely not going back to this property again in Panglao.

Location is just far enough from main Alona retail/restaurant area that you would be better off with a transport. Facility seems to be relatively new but in poor condition. Shower not working properly and the daily cleaning isn’t up to par for a hotel at this price in this area. They don’t wash or replace coffee mugs. Breakfast is very much lacking in variety and quality. When the food ran out, it wasn’t refilled for a while and I ate a cup noodle that I purchased separately. Swimming pool is large but the water quality is suspect as I can tell that it isn’t filtered. Pay a little more and go somewhere much nicer or pay a whole lot less and stay in hotel with similar quality. I have zero interest in revisiting this property.

Great location with close proximity to Alona Beach. Breakfast very good and a good number of options available. Hotel layout with the pool is very nice. The staff were the best bit for me. They were amazing! I would like to thank Paul and Cha and team.

I LIKE THE LOCATION

If not for the rooms being close to the pool and not hearing noises coming from pool goers, it would have been a 5 out of 5 stars. Also the shower area has partly enclose or no curtain, so the bathroom always gets wet after each shower.

Alle de filippinske medarbejdere var super søde, opmærksomme og gjorde deres til at vores ophold blev tåleligt. "Restauranten" er blot et åbent område uden egentlig borde og stole, men nogle hårde bænke og hynder. Morgenmaden er ringe, men når klientellet kun er kinesere er "morgenmaden" også Kinesisk. Poolen er direkte farlig at benytte, el ledninger fra belysningen hænger ubeskyttet i vandet samtidig med at belysningen i vandet er aktivt. Fliser og klinker ligger i øvrigt løse i hele poolen. Baren får 1 til 2 stjerner. Vi beder om en Gin og tonic, men får at vide at de kun kan serverer de drinks som står på kortet til trods for at der står en udemærket gin på hylden samt Schweppes tonic på køl....... Ved udtjek ville vi betale vores forbrug med Visakort, men nej "vi tager ikke imod kreditkort".......heldigvis havde vi kontanter på os. 2½ stjerne må det max blive herfra, det var nok tæt på den ringeste hoteloplevelse vi har oplevet og 4 stjerner kan det på ingen måde leve op til.

The only problem was that the breakfast did not cater for westerners

The rooms were spacious and the ground floor room with access to pool was great. There a free shuttle hourly into alona beach.

The staff knowledge of the hotel facilities and local tours etc was very poor. We had a few instances where staff couldn’t assist us with basic questions. Breakfast needs improvement - minimal choices, no juice etc. There is also a bar with cocktail menu but they never had the ingredients and the staff seemed annoyed I had asked to make a cocktail. We also requested a double bed but were given 2 twin beds - not a deal breaker but not ideal for an adult couple. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during 3 weeks in the phillipines and was not what I would expect for this price.

Location was ok, the room was new and very clean.

The room we had was right across the bar and this is also where students learning how to dive are swimming so my advice to anyone staying here ask not to be put in any of these rooms from A101 to A107 because it can be really noisy, we were in room A107 and as soon as we went to our room and heard the noise we ask to be relocated to another room and the they said they will try and let me know when other guest checked out but they never got back to me. I'll let you decide what to make of this service. The breakfast was very limited and always run out of whatever they had. In my years and years of travelling this is the first time I came across this issue. Most of the staff won't greet you if you don't greet them first, again I never had this experience in all my travels and there is this guard during the day where he stares at you and doesn't say hello or anything, really?

外观漂亮，前台微笑服务，机场接要500p，距离近价格略贵。由于是早上7点到的，加了1400P提前办理入住，然后2人早餐500多p。白天从小路走到海滩不远，晚上没法走。开始不知道，其实每小时有免费的接驳车送到主海滩最热闹的地方。酒店感觉被韩国人包场了，连早餐都提供泡菜。小缺点是住在B楼，隔壁有养鸡鸭狗等动物，一早会叫，还有泳池游泳的孩子会喊。总体还行吧

Nice room and pool.

It should be noted that ihus is a Chinese run hotel with almost all Chinese guests, so if you are looking for a bit of a mix then it may not be for you. The gym is not air conditionerd and the running machine broke while we were there.. They tried to charge us a corkage fee for our Grab food delivery, which is ridiculous for a hotel that doesn't have a restaurant.

Need to improved their breakfast options and also the quality of the taste of the food.

Good location very close to Alona where all the restaurants are . Very clean hotel and staff were friendly and nice .

The rooms were a good size, the twin beds were more like small doubles. The double bed was huge with plenty of space in the room for suitcases. Each balcony had a washing line which was great for drying clothes. The rooms were initially clean and Wi-Fi was individual per room which worked really efficiently.

The pool was dated and the water smelled terrible. There was no daily housekeeping and minimal toilet roll. The breakfast buffet options were small and there were no options for any other food for the rest of the day. The staff were not overly helpful but did book Tuk Tuks for us to get around.

The rooms are modern, the pool is nice.

Although the staff were friendly they seemed as though they needed better training. We weren't given any information on arrival in relation to breakfast, pool times. One morning we were waiting for eggs as it seemed to be the only western food on offer and a young lady who seemed to be a manager went to the kitchen and got the eggs that were cooking and we had to wait longer. The beach access is tricky unless you walk around the road which takes 10 - 15 minutes.

The hotel is brand new and was literally spotless upon checking in (a first for me in the Philippines). Very nice room and the A/C was dead quiet. Location is also great, it is possible to walk to Alona beach from the hotel (although I recommend just renting a scooter while you're there). All things considered this hotel is a very good value for the money, would happily stay here again if I return to Panglao. Definitely recommend this place.

The soundproofing of the door is not very good, and you can hear people talking in the corridor (normal for the region though). The breakfast is Asian food only which I didn't like (obviously subjective).

The resort is very accessible. 5mins walk to Alona Beach and restaurants (Mist & Molly) They only offer breakfast, and their food is delicious and it’s a full course meal. The staffs are very accomodating. During our stay, we walk to/from the beach. We enjoyed our stay here and will surely consider this hotel on our next visit. Great Job to the staff and management! 🥰

dolphin resort is a newly opened hotel with very new facilities, brand new bedding, clean, soft and very comfortable beds for you to sleep in. My daughter really likes the extra-long swimming pool. Of course, there were also very nice service staff who checked in ahead of time. I renewed my subscription for a few days after the service exceeded my expectations, and it was absolutely worth it.

Newly opened,having soft opening,WOW a fantastic resort at a reasonable price, excellently built resort with modern decor,fittings and nicely decorated,rooms are beautiful,super comfortable beds with luxurious pillows the best I've ever experienced,our room on the bottom floor with direct access to a spectacular huge central pool,staff were amazing,friendly and accommodating,great security guards very helpful 24 hours patrolling resort and our car in carpark, Dolphin bay resort 5 minutes to Alona beach either by car or trycycle.
