Je ne donne pas souvent un 10/10 aux endroits où je séjourne, mais là c'est totalement mérité. De l'accueil chaleureux de Hamza et son équipe, à la propreté des lieux (intérieur et extérieur), la piscine magnifique, la verdure, l'emplacement, la nourriture excellente, tout était parfait ! Si vous recherchez un endroit au calme, aux portes de Marrakech, pour vraiment vous détendre et vivre un moment exceptionnel, alors vous êtes au bon endroit !

Un séjour tout simplement exceptionnel ! Nous avions réservé plusieurs chambres pour un groupe de 10 personnes et nous avons été conquises par ce lieu magnifique. Le Palais Averroes est un véritable havre de paix, parfaitement entretenu, avec une décoration soignée et élégante. On s’y sent immédiatement bien. La piscine est superbe et le petit déjeuner était tout simplement délicieux. Mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial, c’est l’accueil de notre hôte, qui a été absolument chaleureux. Sa gentillesse, sa générosité et son hospitalité ont largement contribué à rendre notre expérience inoubliable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui souhaitent profiter d’un cadre exceptionnel et d’un accueil chaleureux. Toutes les personnes de notre groupe ont adoré notre séjour et reviendront avec grand plaisir au Palais Averroes.

Gorgeous Riad, all the facilities you could need, very friendly staff and amazing food. The manager took such good care of us. Even ensuring we stayed hydrated by the pool with free juice and watermelon! Not too far from the city but far enough to feel relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle.

L’emplacement car loin de la médina à l’écart du bruit. Le chauffeur de taxi, Jamal qui a été super et tjr présent quand on a besoin, également un grand merci à Hamza qui a été aux petits soins et le jeune cuisinier très gentil, la tangia était extra👍

Un palais fantôme , peu de personnel , cela manquer un peu d’ambiance( ex: musique d’ambiance au petit déjeuner, autour de la piscine…) pour un palais 5* il faudrait proposer plus de choix au petit déjeuner car très faible.

We liked the room and the pool area, also, breakfast was very good. We wanted a quiet hotel and, for the most part, we got what we wanted. The hotel itself is pretty and the staff were kind. Overall, it's a very peaceful hotel and would be a perfect place to relax for a day or two.

We didn't love that there is not much at all that's walking distance. We thought there would at least be a corner store or a restaurant. Also, on our last day the staff blasted really loud music while they were cleaning. I like seeing people have fun at work, however, if a hotel is adults only, many guests will be looking to relax. Sometimes the yelling, laughing, and noise from the hotel staff was just as annoying as a child.

Loin de la ville, les petites ruelles dégradées, les poussières et les lits sont vieux, le petit déjeuner médiocre. Honnêtement le raid mérite une bonne rénovation. Mais reste un avis , d'autres personnes peuvent aimés ce genre riad.

I liked that the property was so large and spacious, you could walk around and plenty of places to sit and lounge around. Aesthetically it looks nice, the rooms as well, if that's what people care for.

We booked a room for 4 people, we had a few issues that I thought made this property not worth the price. The main bed was nice and comfortable, but the two extra beds that were provided were just cheap mattresses on metal stands. They were very uncomfortable and the mattress kept sliding off the metal stand. One of us had to sleep on the couch provided. The bathroom door was so loud, anytime someone was using it especially early morning or night time, it would wake up everyone. I've stayed at many Riads and Palaces in Marrakech, I have never been charged for water or tea usually. It came as a surprise when at the end they handed me a large bill for all the water and tea they have provided us. For a place of this pricing, I feel like it should be included. As every hotel or Riad or Palace I've ever stayed at has provided it free of charge. Furthermore, I paid for laundry cleaning 1 day before, and I was handed basically damp and wet clothes back the next day. I told the staff that I can't pack damp clothing in my suitcase as it will smell and had to ask them to dry the clothes. Even after asking them to dry it, they were still damp, I had to pack them and then rewash in Spain as it had picked an odd wet smell.

Der Pool & das Rooftop ist wirklich toll. Dadurch das jeder wie eine Art Mini Apartment hat, hat man auch eine eigene Terrasse was sehr angenehm ist.

Der Standort ist toll, aber es ist doch etwas weit draußen wenn man täglich in die Stadt möchte. Ich empfehle definitiv einen Mietwagen.

The staff also arranged transportation for us throughout our visit. Every ride was punctual, reliable, and fairly priced, which made exploring Marrakech stress‑free. Overall, Le Palais Averroes offers a warm, laid‑back atmosphere where you truly feel like part of the family. I highly recommend this riad to anyone seeking a welcoming, home‑away‑from‑home experience in Marrakech. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, and we look forward to returning.

We’re so glad we chose this hotel over Riad in noisy and polluted old town medina. Hotel is lovely peaceful oasis, nicely decorated with beautiful well maintained green garden. Decent size pool with sun beds always available. But the best thing about this hotel is staff, each and everyone were absolutely amazing! They made sure our stay is as comfortable as possible. I can recommend hammam and massage it was fantastic. Good food in restaurant.

I wouldn’t advice to wonder outside of the hotel day or night.

handelt sich nicht um ein 5-Sterne-Hotel, sondern um eine einfache, lokale Unterkunft. Es gibt keinen Wellness- oder Spa-Bereich, und die Zimmer sind hellhörig. Eine Bar oder typische Hotelausstattung fehlt ebenfalls. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft in Ordnung, entspricht aber eher keinem klassischen Hotelstandard. Zudem liegt sie recht abgelegen. Für uns war es daher eine Enttäuschung.

We love this place, it is our second visit! Its a ten room boutique hotel, the rooms are stylish with much attention to detail, lovely carvings and good quality bedding. Gorgeous pool and surrounds and lovely walks down country lanes outside. We got an Uber to Marrakesh in the evenings about 8€. We had dinner at the hotel a couple of times with our own wine. On the first night we arrived late and were able to have dinner at 9pm. We were met and welcomed by Yassin. He is the best thing about this place, he has his eye on all the balls, is cheerful, hard working and friendly. His English is brilliant, I believe he speaks French and Spanish too. All the staff are delightful. He is exceptional.

I really dont like the QR menu and the way the order is sent through to the kitchen - only a few feet away. The food production is very slow despite there not being many guests. Maybe another chef needed? An hour to produce a Caesar salad most days was frustrating, on one occasion the wifi failed so it never arrived… until Yassin got it organised! This is the only weak point. I would happily return to this idyllic retreat.

- Quality of the food was somewhat subpar - Mattresses are pretty hard. Comfy for some maybe, but not for me - Manicure did more harm than good. Would not recommend getting that one unfortunately

The staff were friendly

The service and facilities were non existent. We had to find our own pool towels, ask for hangers for our room.. we even got locked out one day and couldn’t get in to the hotel as the wooden front door was closed and a taxi driver stayed with us until finally someone opened it.

They had a permanent issue with electricity - every evening it was cut off several times and thus reflected on the water, too. So no shower and no electricity for non-defined period. You just have to wait for 20 min approximately…

The staff were all lovely, especially Yassine and the lovely taxi driver Jamul? Yassine was wonderful,. He sorted out all of queries and nothing was too much trouble. His loyalty to both his clients and his hotel were constantly evident. He is worth his weight in gold! The pool was spotlessly clean, if a little fresh at first,. Our room was clean and tidy if a little dark (bad weather for 4.5 days) All food was freshly prepared and very tasty.

Although our bathroom was large it did smell a little damp, but, it is an old building.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with the overall experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made us feel truly valued as guests. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The only small inconvenience was the distance to the city center. We had hoped to walk, but it was a bit too far — although transport options were available.

Swimming pool, big spaces. The team is always willing to help, they parked our car every night in their safe parking spot. They have only 10 rooms and the property comes with greenery. We tried the hammam package with Fatima, she was a super star. She made us feel comfortable and her massage was the best we had!

There were not many staff members around, making the waiting time longer for breakfast or anything you ask for. The place has an amazing potential, but I don’t feel it reflect the 5 star service I was expecting.

If you’re looking for the feel of a Riad but without the madness of the Medina then this is the place for you! We didn’t want to go to a hotel that felt like it could be anywhere in the world. So this gave us that Moroccan feel but with the comfort of a swimming pool and a bit of outside space. The staff all worked very hard and wanted to try and make your stay as good as possible. Laurent, the night porter, was so good and super helpful in particular. He stayed late to help us and his English was great too which really helped. I would recommend staying here rather than in one of the big faceless hotels for the full Moroccan experience. Taxis are easy to get in and out.

The bed was very hard and sometimes they seemed a little overwhelmed by trying to carry out guest requests. They don’t have any computerised system so lots of bits of paper for things which can get lost. They could do with more pool towels and glasses as well as maybe a glass automatic dishwasher. But it all added to the quirkiness! They could maybe do with an extra staff member for their busy times at the bar/food area. If they had Laurent doing pool and lunch service all day it would be great! I think they definitely could have made more money out of us if there had been someone around more to get drinks and snacks throughout the day if you were staying by the pool. I guess its getting the balance between people not being around and then everyone coming at once.

If I had to say anything about improving I’d say just pay a little more attention to detail. Ie although the grass was cut it needed weeding.. paint coming off in places, water marks on sofas etc. not major but there.

Ett väldigt lugnt och lagom stort hotell som känns som en egen oas bortom stadens stress. Vi blev varmt välkomnade av personalen, som var uppmärksam och tillmötesgående under hela vistelsen och såg till att allt fungerade smidigt. Maten var mycket god och vällagad, dessutom till rimliga priser. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse och kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell!

Palais chaleureux ou il fait bon vivre. Nous nous sommes senties toutes les trois comme à la maison. Le personnel est très accueillant et très arrangeant. Le palais est propre avec un décor traditionnel marocain et épuré, emplacement au calme neanmoins besoin d'un taxis ou véhicule de location. Petit dejeuné savoureux et complet (typiquement marocain) Rien à redire. Nous y reviendrons

The staff were so friendly and welcoming! They really strive to make you happy, are very helpful and really care to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable. The hotel grounds look really nice and the breakfast was also nice & filling.

Had some issues with the room which required me to swap rooms which was an inconvenience. The maintenance, repairs, cleanliness and daily cleaning could be much better. Also the lunch & dinner menu & quality of food needs improvement.

We had such a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the peace & quiet after a few nights in the medina! Every single person working here was very welcoming and kind. Great facilities both inside the room and outside. The breakfast was tasty too. The taxi to the city centre is 15-20mins and we never had to wait more than a few minutes.

Het personeel was supervriendelijk. Bij binnenkomst 's ochtends maakte Yassine dadelijk onze 2 latte Machiato's. We werden steeds vriendelijk begroet en aangesproken met de vraag of ze ons nog ergens mee van dienst konden zijn. Het contacteren van een taxi, tips geven voor uitstappen, een hamam-sessie reserveren,... ze deden het allemaal met een smile!

Het weer was wat minder maar daar kan het hotel uiteraard niets aan doen. We waren duidelijk voor de start van het 'echte seizoen' waardoor er weinig leven was. Dit hadden we niet goed ingeschat op voorhand.

I would love to come with my children. It’s an adults only resort. That did make my vacation what I did need. But it’s so wonderful its a wish for next time.

We were kindly upgraded to a royal suite, and it was absolutely amazing — spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. The staff was exceptional: extremely kind, attentive, and au petit soin at all times. A very special thank you to Sanaa, who was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and caring throughout our stay. Although the property is not in the city center, it is very easy to access. The atmosphere is cosy, quiet, and perfect for relaxing away from the noise. For us, this was a 5-star experience, and we would absolutely come back.

L'éloignement de Marrakech (et donc le coût des transfert en taxi) ; les finitions de la chambre sont pas top top pour le standing affiché de l'hôtel (l'évacuation de la douche refoule, le flexible de douche est rouillé, etc.).

Absolutely incredible hotel, staff were friendly and attentive, facilities were great, the fact there are only a handful of rooms means that you often feel like you have the place to yourself. The food was nice and the chef was so lovely, he cooked us food to order and he even gave us a cheesecake that he had been experimenting with adding to the menu, which was a very nice personalised touch. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, no complaints whatsoever. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Le gérant est au top il nous a bien accueilli toujours au petit soin. Si on a la moindre question il est là. L’hôtel est d’une propreté incroyable. Les chambres sont magnifiques et le cadre est reposant et typiquement marocain. C’est un havre de paix!

Guter Ausgangspunkt für in den Atlas/Imlil/Ourika - wenn man ein Mietauto hat!

Wir wählten dieses Hotel als dritte Etappe unserer Marrakechferien. Wir waren anfangs Januar dort. Es waren kaum Gäste dort (mit uns 4-6). Es gab zwar viel Staff, aber wegen den wenigen Gästen hatten sie kaum etwas zu tun und sie wirkten für uns wenig aufmerksam (verglichen mit was wir in den letzten zwei Wochen in Marrakech sonst erlebt haben). Es war mehr Staff als Gäste da. Wir fanden im Voraus keine Information, dass der Pool nicht benutzt werden kann. Ebenfalls war das Rooftop wie auch die Poolbar „eingepackt“. In unseren Augen wäre es sinnvoller gewesen dem Hotel eine Winterpause zu gönnen. Die Anlage (obwohl etwas in die Jahre gekommen) ist hübsch. Im Spätfrühling bis Herbst sicherlich toll. Es ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Besuche im Atlas. Es gibt ein Valet Parking. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es aber nichts. Bis zu den kleinen Läden an der Hauptstrasse ist es relativ weit, man sollte also die Einkäufe für Wasser oder Snacks mit einem Ausflug kombinieren. Frühstück gibt es ab 8:30. Wir waren zwei mal früher als 8:15 weg vom Hotel und verpassten so das Frühstück, denn es gab keine Möglichkeit für ein eingepacktes Frühstück. Wir empfanden die Kommunikation nicht als proaktiv. (Fehlende Informationen zu den ‚geschlossenen Einrichtungen‘ (Pool, Rooftop etc)) Wir reservierten ein Flughafentransfer. Am Abend zuvor war er zwar bestätigt, doch am Morgen mussten wir über 20 Minuten auf das Taxi warten. Der Staff hat viel telefoniert (wir nehmen an mit dem Taxifahrer), aber uns nicht kommuniziert was los ist. Was man optimieren könnte ist, dass die Reinigungsequipe das Licht auch wieder ausschaltet. Denn wir kamen immer zu einem hell erleuchteten Zimmer zurück. Es ist nicht nötig, dass das Licht den ganzen Tag brennt im Zimmer

I liked that the spa pool and grounds were very well connected and the many natural fruit tress were within this quiet setting .The staff was exceptional. and every staff member especially the Manager Hamas made us feel very welcomed

The staff were just wonderful. They couldn’t have been more helpful. From reception, waiters, spa staff, chambermaid, nothing was too much for them. They all went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The breakfast was delicious but it could have been more varied. For example a healthier choice of fruit and yogurt would have been appreciated. It’s a long wait but we were not in any rush. Also the pool wasn’t heated as stated on Hotel information so that was disappointing.
