Riad Lalla Mimouna

A beautiful Riad right next to the Palais Royal and the ancient Bab Agnaou and walking distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa and Medina. The Riad is comfortably cool, with beautiful rooms. Mohamed, the host, made the experience special. His hospitality, bright smile and knowledge about the area and it's history were fantastic.

No está insonorizado hay muchas veces que se escuchan la gente de la calle y es molesto, hay ciertas fotos como la piscina que no corresponde a la realidad pero de todos modos estuvo bien nuestra estancia :)

El personal un 10, las habitaciones estaban limpias pero cogimos este alojamiento precisamente porque tenia una pequeña piscina en la terraza, contando las altas temperaturas en el centro de Marrakech, era un punto imprescindible para nosotros, tuvimos que alojarnos 3 noches fuera ya que era imposible estar ahí por el calor. Tanto el desayuno como el personal un 10. Aun así se nos cobro las tasas por las siete noches sabiendo que estuvimos fuera, algo que no pasa nada, lo pagamos sin problema pero se nos cobro justo antes de irnos por lo qué sabían que no habíamos hecho uso total de las instalaciones y me pareció un gesto feo por parte del manager.

Endroit très calme et très bien situé dans Marrakech ! Je recommande vivement. A seulement 20 min de l’aéroport. Le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel et les personnes de l’établissement très accueillantes et à l’écoute. Les chambres sont magnifiques et très confortables.

Habitacion amplia con todo lo necesario para el dia a dia y en buenas condiciones, todo el staff muy amable y atento ante cualquier duda, y finalmente la ubicacion estrategica, solo a unos minutos caminando de la medina lo cual lo hace una zona tranquila para descansar en la noche.

Riad in posizione perfetta: in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge il cuore della Medina, ma allo stesso tempo si gode di una pace e tranquillità davvero rare. La struttura è pulita, curata e accogliente. Un grazie speciale ad Abdul, sempre gentile e disponibile, che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Super consigliato!

Smukkeste lille oase perfekt beliggenhed til seværdigheder. Rent og pænt. Kæmpe værelse. Meget søde, opmærksomme og hjælpsomme værter. Lækker og velsmagende morgenmad 🤩 Smuk tagterrasse. Det den bedste seng vi nogensinde har sovet i på rejse.

Der er meget lyt på Riad. Du kan hører alt også med vinduer og døre lukket.

A perfectly located Riad in quiet side street close to the palace which is guarded constantly so the area feels very safe. The Riad is not too far from the Medina (15 minute walk), close enough to enjoy the bustle and excitement but with some distance to provide a peaceful and calm retreat. Our room was clean and spacious, perfectly accommodating for us for our 3 night stay. The breakfast was very lovely, you can eat on the roof in the morning sun if the weather is nice. Abdul and the team working at the Riad were kind and helpful, full of advice and providing local knowledge and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere - I would certainly recommend for a stay in Marrakech.

Abdul et Moustafa sont très attentionnés. Ils font tout pour que vous passiez un bon séjour. Le riad est très agréable, à 800 m de la place jemaa el fna.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was great, with a very comfortable king sized bed, and great walk in shower. Good WiFi. Good location to see old Marrakech.

The breakfast was o.k. but I'd have liked more, stronger coffee. A greater selection of fruit would be nicer, the street vendors sell pomegranate juice, so that would have been a nice choice to offer. It was also mostly starch and carbohydrate(pancakes, cake) which aren't the best choice. I'm making it sound bad but it wasn't, I just think it could have easily been great!

Très bien accueilli, hôtes très disponibles. Propre, bonne literie, frigo dans la chambre. Bon petit déjeuné. Emplacement au top, à l’écart du tumulte de la ville mais proche de tout.

Nous avons séjourné en bas et ça peut être dérangeant pour certaines personnes d’entendre les gens entrer/sortir.

J’ai aimé le décor et le champ du lieu.

La douche n’évacuait pas l’eau correctement ce qui laisse des traces de moisissures avec le temps… à ce prix, je pense qu’il y a des améliorations possibles. De plus, il y avait bien une couette supplémentaire, mais elle n’était pas protégée par une housse, ce qui ne nous mettait pas très à l’aise pour l’utiliser directement en cas de froid.

Breakfast was fabulous a great start to the day. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The location meant we were in easy walking distance to the Medina.

Netoli miesto aikštės, šalia yra automobilių parkingas, tad nesunku pasiekti apgyvendinimo įstaigą, Abdula (registratūroje dirbantis) buvo labai paslaugus. Pusryčiai tradiciniai. Lyginant su kitais ryadais Marakeše, tai buvo vienas geriausių ir gražiausių ir kaina buvo labai gerai, tikrai rekomenduoju.

Das Riad lag ruhig und dennoch sehr zentral. Man hatte einen schönen Ausblick auf die Koutoubia Moschee, die älteste Moschee von Marrakesch.

Elegante struttura con camere confortevoli e pulite. Staff molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Ottima e abbondante colazione. Il punto di forza di questa struttura è la posizione vicino al cuore della Medina ma in un'area più tranquilla e molto sicura accanto al palazzo reale

Tudo foi perfeito! O lugar é lindo calmo e aconchegante. O quarto e o banheiro são espaçosos e muito equipados com frigobar, cafeteira, secador de cabelo, tudo que você precisa. É maravilhoso. Não deixe de conhecer o terraço, a vista é linda!!!

The location is great, as it’s just 5min from all the hustle and bustle from the Medina but close enough to everything you can walk to. The host Abdol was wonderful, very attentive and helpful :) The breakfast was delicious! Very comfortable bed, pillows and great room size too.

Our room was on the ground floor, so you could hear a bit of noise of guests coming in and out.

Nice riad, nice rooms. Abdul was a very kind host.

Dirty neighbourhood.

Me and my fiancée stayed here for over a week and had the pleasure of meeting our host, Abdul, who really helped us settle into Marrakech, showed us all of the best spots to go to and was so friendly. The breakfast was so good, the rooms were very comfortable and intimate. I highly recommend staying there. Had a massive as per the hotel and was good, needed this when experiencing some back pain during my stay.

The mattress didn’t agree with my back and caused some back pain (was abit too firm for me as a side sleeper) but Abdul and the team provided me with an alternative bed to sleep on which helped reduced the pain. Even though it wasn’t their fault, they kindly offered us free dinner which was delicious! It was so kind of them and other than that, I loved everything about it!

Lovely place, with an extensive breakfast. Good communication with staff, we had a problem with our room and were easily placed into a different room.

The Riad is an exquisitely decorated and homely place situated in an authentically Moroccan neighbourhood that mostly serves locals. It is, in my opinion, the perfect place to be - as you have many storefronts that you can buy water and other basic necessities from, and for the same price that the locals pay. Additionally, it is perhaps the safest area in Marrakesh as it is situated directly across from one of the largest police installations we encountered in Morocco. This super location was minutes away from the lovely Kasbah and Mellah districts, and only a few more minutes away from the Koutoubia Masjid, Djamma El-Fna, and the souks. Despite being surrounded by hustle and bustle, the Riad was remarkably quiet and completely devoid of the noise that permeates much of the city. From the rooftop terrace, one can look out at the palm-tree lined skyline and admire the Koutoubia Mosque’s minaret, listen to the beautiful idhan (call to prayer), and catch some of the most brilliant sunsets available on Earth. If you’re keen and patient, you might even catch a glimpse of the wild peacocks that roam the grounds just in front of the Riad!

From the moment we entered the Riad, Ibrahim, Murad, and Abdelhaleem all made us feel as if we were guests not in a hotel, but in their homes. The homeliness of the Riad was increased by the presence of numerous cats who lived on the property and were taken care of by guests and staff. The staff, namely those mentioned above and also Asmaa’, did a great job of attending to our every need and providing us with anything that we asked for. The beds were comfortable, the showers clean and apt, and the A/C was a godsend on the many hot days we spent in Marrakesh. Suffice to say, the amenities leave you wanting for nothing. 

The Riad was really epitomized by the kindness, friendliness, and downright perfect hospitality of the staff.

Zur Begrüßung im Hotel gab es direkt einen Tee und Kekse. Das Personal war extrem hilfsbereit, sie haben uns einiges zur Stadt erklärt, gute Restaurants empfohlen, gesagt wo Parkplätze sind. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, traditionell und super lecker. Das Badezimmer/Dusche ist schön groß, es gibt Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer.

Wir waren im Januar dort, das Zimmer war trotzdem kuschelig warm; nur beim Frühstück sitzt man Hof des Riad und dort war es etwas kalt, aber das gehört im Januar halt dazu :)

Bon accueil et très bon emplacement

10/10 is not enough for this fabulous Riad. Everything about it was exceptional - comfortable, elegant, quiet, great location, delicious breakfast, gorgeous and very comfortable room. The staff were all lovely, and I would like to give special mention to Abdul. From the minute we arrived he was friendly, helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. On the last day my wife was taken ill and was unable to fly home - Abdul arranged alternative accommodation for us as the riad was full, he arranged transfers, early check ins, and advised us about getting medical support. Really above and beyond service, which made everything just a little bit better. We will be back.

Everything was great! I got everything I needed and the atmosphere is calm, positive and unique. I love the colors and design. All very clean and nice. I want to give a special shoutout for Abdo, he’s taking care of everyone and offering help and recommendations! He’s managing the property really well. I would stay here again and recommend this place for my friend and you!

The host Abdul is amazing, friendly, helpful and enthousiastic. The facilities are great, especially the roof terrace and the rooms are splendid!

Le Riad Lalla Mimouna est magnifique. Son emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la ville tout en profitant du calme. Notre chambre était superbe, décorée avec goût et surtout très fonctionnelle. Le matin, nous avons particulièrement apprécié le petit déjeuner : il était copieux et varié. Un immense merci à Abdou, qui a été aux petits soins pour nous durant tout le séjour. Son attention de chaque instant et ses services impeccables ont vraiment fait la différence. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Abdul est vraiment un hôte génial ! Tout était au top !

De kamer kwam heel sereen en proper over, wat wel nodig is in een drukke stad als Marrakech. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en aanwezig. Het ontbijt was ook dik in orde!

The host, Abdul, is very welcoming! The room and atmosphere is really cosy. Also there is always somebody if you need any help. Because of the location, we were able to discover Marrakech well! Besides that, a nice view on the roof top to start or end your day.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Marrakesh - this is the place! Our stay was truly memorable. The peaceful ambiance and excellent location made it easy to relax and enjoy everything the city has to offer. The warm welcome from the staff made it one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Everyone was incredibly attentive and kind, creating a genuinely comforting atmosphere. The space felt friendly and relaxing just like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

When we arrived we were immediately pleased by the warm welcome of the staff, who continued to be very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The Riad is located in a quiet neighbourhood only a 10 minute walk away from the central square in the old town. The room was really nice, clean and equipped with well working airconditioning. Every morning we got a freshly made, large breakfast with sweet and savoury options, accompanied by Moroccan tea or coffee. We really felt at home!

Ma signalisation du Ryad pourrait être être optimalisée après le 1ere panneau à Sidi Mimoune . Il n’y a pas de difference sensible entre une suite et une chambre standard . Nos chambres étaient au rdc , il a donc fallu entierement nous enfermer pour ne pas être vu quand nous nous sommes changé , des voyageurs présents dans le salon .l’allumage automatique du wc la nuit réveille toute la chambre . Beaucoup d’interrupteurs ..Le prix du mini bar et des services est onéreux .
