Struttura molto bella, nel cuore della medina di Marrakech, posizione ottima e non troppo difficile da raggiungere. Il riad è molto curato, si nota un’attenzione al dettaglio pazzesca, molto pulito, con un’estetica minimal ma d’effetto, centra a pieno lo stile marocchino. è stata la mia seconda volta in questa struttura e sicuramente ci tornerò. Eriko è davvero simpatica, gentile e super disponibile. Inoltre ho amato i gattini del riad!

今回は初めての一人旅で利用をしましたが、モロッコは意外と日本からの旅行客による事前情報も少なく、実際も旅行中に日本人を見かける事はほとんどありませんでした。 そんな中、この宿はモロッコを訪れた日本人ならホッと一安心できるとても居心地の良い宿です。 モロッコ&一人旅初心者だったので、マラケシュのスーク内のガイドもお願いし、充実した時間を過ごす事ができました！ スーク内はガイドがないと行けないような、ディープな所もある為、初モロッコの方にはおすすめです！ モロッコという土地柄とオーナーのえりこさんの人柄もあり、運が良ければ旅好きな日本人の方と旅行話に華を咲かせる事もできて、旅の醍醐味を味わえます！！

Host Eriko is very friendly and very helpful. The property was very clean and cozy and tasty breakfast keep us going for all day. Every single detail in property has been carefully selected to make you feel authentic Morocco. You are in Medina but only 2 minutes off the streets of souk. This keeps you away from the noise. Also easy walking distance if you want to visit YSL in the new town.

The Riad is such a beautiful design and the rooftop is a little haven of tranquility if you want to relax and sunbathe. The host Eriko is so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

A Stylish, Relaxing Riad with Incredible Hospitality This Riad is located right inside the souk, making it extremely convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The interior is fashionably designed, spotlessly clean, and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace — relaxing, delicious, and a wonderful way to start the day. Eriko-san, the owner, is incredibly kind and gracious. She’s very knowledgeable about Marrakech and offers helpful recommendations for sightseeing and tours — including desert trips and transportation arrangements. Although we had already booked a tour on our own (which turned out to be a bit disappointing), it became clear that consulting with her in advance would have been the better choice. I highly recommend reaching out to her before your stay for reliable and personalized suggestions. Overall, it was an excellent experience. My family and I loved staying at Riad Sakura ! Eriko and her staff were so kind and accommodating to us. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We felt like we were treated like family. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We would definitely recommend staying at this Riad .

We had a lovely time at riad Sakura. Erico was a fantastic host and helped us a lot. The Riad is just a short walk to the tourist sites in the medina but down a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle. Would recommend to stay here if you’re visiting Marrakesh.

Staying in a Riad gives you a more authentic experience but you don’t have all the modern conveniences of a hotel so it may not be for everyone.

Our stay at Riad Sakura is the highlight of our visit to Morocco. Staff, service and property management are exceptional. Daily breakfast served on rooftop was delicious and nutritious with a lot of options and nice views. Room and bathroom are very aesthetic and comfortable, equipped with everything needed for a trip. Eriko herself is very pleasant and kind. She contacted prior to arrival and offered airport transfers which was a great help. One day during our stay we had to leave early for a tour, and she and her staff accommodated us by serving us breakfast before we left. She also let us stay at Riad for couple of hours after check out which was very relaxing before our flight. We had a great experience and will highly recommend Riad Sakura for a place to stay in Marrakech.

Eriko was amazing. The Riad was beautiful and well-kept. The breakfast was delicious. If I find my way back to Marrekech again I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed (2 adults and 1 child) at this riad for only 4 nights, but it was truly a nice experience. Eriko, the owner, was incredibly friendly, kind, and an excellent hostess. We had moved from another riad and arrived early, and although our room wasn’t ready yet, we were able to leave our suitcases there without any problem. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast that really set a positive tone for the day. On our departure day, we had an early flight, and Eriko thoughtfully arranged transport for us. She even accompanied us to the van and provided an easy breakfast to take with us, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend this riad to anyone traveling to Marrakech and wanting to stay in the heart of the medina. Thank you so much for everything, Eriko and staff!

Riad Sakura is a gem - it’s a stunning place with lovely staff, stylish decoration, amazing breakfast and location - we stayed as a family of 4 and we loved it!

Very calm and silent. You can fully relax after spending time in the bazaar. It is run by a Japanese lady who really takes care of you and provides you with all information. Great breakfast and location. Easy to get it.

There are many cats around the area and so e are sneaking inside. I am personally not bothered by cats but for people who are allergic maybe it. An be problematic.

The riad is 2 min away from souk and 15 from jamae el fna. It's really quiet so we slept really well. Breakfast was really tasty and generous. Rooms are clean and well decorated. The staff are very friendly and Eriko us always available for any questions or help needed. We had a lovely 3 days. I highly recommended this riad

The property was fabulous, clean and beautiful! Located within the souks it was still super quiet and we felt safe. We loved to start the day with the traditional breakfast on the rooftop. The only thing we’d like to know the visitors: you have to like cats, as they “own” this place :)

The property is so peaceful and feels like home, the rooms are really chill and can hear the birds sing outside. Great atmosphere inside. Lovely friendly cats inside like to spend time with the guests. And Eriko the host is the best. A must book

Absolutely my favorite hotel. The property is so well decorated. This is no plain vanilla hotel. The attention to detail is unmistakable. Seemed every inch was well thought out.

The owner was superb in making my wife and I feel comfortable, safe and welcomed. I wish every hotel could take lessons from her.

Beautiful house with a rooftop terrace where guests can relax. Excellent location, just where the market starts. We felt welcomed and very well looked after by the host, helped us get a transfer from the airport and even gave us a map to get around Marrakech easily. It was a very relaxing stay. We cannot rave highly enough about our stay at this beautiful, clean, elegant, and comfortable Riad in the heart of Marrakech. The hostess, Ericko, was friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the boutique-decorated rooms were spacious and clean. The terrace on the roof was the perfect place to relax during the day in between brief sojourns to all the nearby tourist sites within the Medina. Breakfast was a panoply of delicious Moroccan delicacies, with plenty of coffee, tea, juice, and pastries! A perfect little spot for our trip to Marrakech.

We had a 3-night stay in Riad Sakura and everything was perfect. Eriko has been an amazing host and she welcomed us once we got off the car and walked us to the riad (a 3 to 5 minutes walk because the riad is located in a small lane that car is not accessible). We traveled with a 5 year old kid and she also liked the stay. Breakfast was excellent and had rotated a bit so we did not get bored. We would definiately recommend this place to any friends who are travelling to Marrakech.

My friend and I were very excited about our trip to Marrakech, and while searching for accommodation, Riad Sakura immediately caught our attention! Not only did it have excellent reviews, but it was also centrally located. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Eriko, the riad owner. She was one of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve ever met. Eriko was incredibly helpful, offering valuable recommendations and travel tips for exploring Marrakech. The riad itself is charmingly small, with about 5-6 rooms, creating a cozy and private atmosphere. Breakfast was included with our booking, and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed relaxing breakfasts every morning on the terrace, where Eriko's staff were also very accommodating and friendly. Overall, Marrakech was one of the best trips I've been on, and staying at Riad Sakura was undoubtedly the best decision we made for this trip! I highly recommend Riad Sakura, and with Eriko as your host, you’ll be well taken care of and guaranteed a wonderful stay.

Not only is Riad Sakura beautifully restored and very comfortable but the owner/host is a lovely, helpful woman. She even let us stay an extra night while the beginnings of a construction project was going on! We were the only guests (she was actually closed for a few days.) The construction noise was minimal and we were very grateful.

Riad sakura is an absolute gem of a place. From the first greeting, until the last goodbye, you’re made to feel like part of the family. Eriko, is a fantastic host. You’re right near the hustle and bustle of the medina, yet there’s no noise. It’s peaceful. Also, the breakfast is fantastic here. Needed to be at the airport early and Eriko made sure breakfast was provided slightly earlier than usual. I miss it already. Fully recommend and would definitely stay here again

Eriko is the exemplary host. So much so, I stayed there twice! The breakfast was abundant and delicious and the terrace very relaxing. Book it! You'll love it!

This riad was AMAZING. A lot of attention to detail and very cozy. I loved the smell of the sheets and the design of the room and riad, in general. They greet you with biscuits and tea while you settle in and then you are welcome to sit up on the rooftop terrace with ease and comfort. If you are allergic to cats, I recommend alerting the host. They are there, but very sweet and curious. I am so excited to return in a couple days. Also, the location is very convenient to the medina/centre and is in a quiet location. All rooms have a garden view. The breakfast is served on the upstairs terrace and looks divine. I would stay here again and again.

Honestly i booked this Riad on a whim as my flight changed & wanted to stay in the medina. I wish I'd been able to stay longer. The location was great, the room was cozy. All around great place. I'd definitely stay there again when I come back to Marrakech.

Séjour parfait au Riad Sakura. Proche du Souk de la médina tout en étant au calme dans une petite ruelle, nous avons passé un séjour très relaxant. La décoration était sobre tout en étant typique et le confort de notre chambre était au top. Le petit déjeuner le matin en terrasse est succulent et notre hôte est restée disponible tout au long du séjour pour rendre notre voyage plus agréable !

You won’t regret booking a stay at Riad Sakura whilst in Marrakech, in fact, it will probably be the best decision you make. There’s a reason why this Riad has over 40 perfect ratings. The location and amenities of this quaint space combined with Eriko and her staff’s exceptional hospitality will leave you wishing you booked a longer stay. Overall, I could go on forever, but I will spare the details because other reviews have covered them extensively. This was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had let alone in Morocco. You will not be disappointed. I loved how convenient this Riad’s location was, from one hand it was extremely close to the Medina but also very quiet and relaxing once you are inside. A beautiful riad which is very well kept by lovely staff, close to the centre but on a quiet street, this riad is furnished beautifully.. most importantly is home to the most beautiful cat Gurē ♥️

Beautiful riad location in the center of the old city (the medina). Very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The host was very helpful and responsive. Excellent breakfast was served upon our requested hours. Even though we had to leave early in the morning, the host made sure to prepare our breakfast earlier in order for us not to miss it. Transport from and to the airport was assisted by our kind host. Overall an excellent riad and definitely recommended. Thank you once again!

It was very clean, breakfast was great and Abdoul was opened for any questions and helped us lot during our stay. Location is great, 10 min walk from the main square, and 3 min walk from the square where you can reach by taxi

The service felt incredibly personal – we were very well looked after by Eriko and her staff. They were so attentive to all of our needs and quick to help whenever we encountered difficulties. When we needed to leave early for a tour we'd booked, they accommodated us by serving breakfast earlier than usual. Later, the driver for that tour ditched us, which could have potentially ruined the rest of our day. When Eriko found out, she saved the day by helping us book an excellent desert tour as a replacement – we had such a good time. Eriko is incredibly knowledgeable as a Marrakech local and if you get the chance, you should hear her amazing stories of her backpacking days as well as her unbelievable journey towards setting up her beautiful Riad. Special shout out to Yaya, Kaman and the rest of her staff who took care of us and made us feel welcome. We were also charmed by Eriko's gorgeous cats, Guri and Momo. It was so relaxing to play with them after a long day of walking. We had such a restful time at this Riad – we could not have asked for more. 💛

Because of the open-concept of the Riad's layout, you might overhear conversations from the ground level. But it's generally OK as there are a limited number of rooms and guests so we didn't find it too noisy during our stay.

This is an absolute gem of a place!! We feel very lucky to have stayed there, it is such a calm, peaceful and beautifully decorated haven away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. It is in a great location, with quick access to the shops of the Medina and the taxi access a short walk away. The owner Eriko and her staff will do everything possible to help you and make your stay feel really special, print boarding passes, give directions, advice, recommendations, bring trays of tea or coffee… Breakfast is delicious, filling and the local peanut sauce for the pancakes is yummy!! It’s 2 minutes from the taxi drop off point, follow signs for Riad Chafia, door is on the right side before t junction.

Wow, this place is absolutely perfect. The room was totally incredible, very comfortable and spacious with great style. The breakfast was excellent. The owner and staff are really kind and welcoming. Location is unbeatable, on a peaceful street in the Medina and close to everything. Staying here was a real highlight of our trip to Morocco.

Amazing Riad in a super quiet street. We felt immediately at home, safe and taken care of. We didn‘t find the Riad on our own, but the owner fetched and guided us. The Riad is incredibly beautiful and although we stayed just one night, we were super relaxed after the stay. The breakfast is delicious! Can highly recommend Riad Sakura. Would love to come back one day. :)
