The large rooms and staff were the highlight. Aseleh and Shadi were great hosts and couldn’t do enough to help us. Lonely ocean views.

No air conditioning in public areas, it was very humid. The buildings and rooms are very grand - some of the furniture antiques lovely - but the interior could use an upgrade, painting etc.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Samsara! The breakfast was absolutely superb with a great variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended if you're visiting Galle

The large bedroom was very impressive as was the bathroom.The room we stayed in was well appointed but would have benefited from having a fridge. The standard for cleanliness was very high. The staff were lovely.

The breakfast room was unremarkable unlike the rest of the building.

We had a wonderful experience at Samsara, all thanks to the amazing hospitality and service. Special thanks to Palithu and Sithum for their help throughout. They made sure our stay was comfortable and that we faced no issues. The food was absolutely delicious everyday! Fresh and real Sri Lankan taste. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Just a little bit old but still well maintained

The staff were very friendly, helpful and always ready to solve problems external to the hotel. Will definitely return. Palitha was my point of contact and he had a calming presence about him that set the tone for our stay.

Op behoorlijke afstand van Galle (8 km) hebben we genoten van de rust op deze stille plek. Met een zwembad in afbouw belooft het echt een pareltje te worden. De kamers zijn heel ruim, comfortabel en muggenvrij. Op loopafstand bevindt zich een schildpaddenopvang waar we een interessante rondleiding kregen. Ook zijn er verschillende restaurantjes aan het strand. Vermijd echter het New Ocean Hill, tenzij je graag een voedselvergiftiging oploopt.

De jongere medewerkers spreken heel matig Engels. Excursies en dergelijke moet je echt zelf regelen. Het autovervoer naar Negombo regelden ze wel vlot.

The bathroom and room were a very good size and spacious. I was able to go for a little walk on the sea across which was lovely. Also very close to hikkaduwa beach

worst location, beds make noise, floor is slippery. no restaurant inhouse and nothing is close by either.

Staff are so lovely, rooms were clean with plenty of space. Woke up to an amazing breakfast outside our door, with an amazing view! Family visiting from Australia, would 100% recommend if anyone is visiting Siri Lanka!

It was way too far from the centre of Galle and I think it was overpriced as there was a lot of building going on.

Over rated property for the prices charged, apart from a very large room the property has nothing, not even a lobby, its so poorly planned in terms of design I cancelled the stay upon reaching there and moved out to oceanfront condominium for almost the same cost The pictures showcased here are not of the property, which is very disappointing and I would term that as fraud

We had taken the king sized room. It was massive and the bathrooms were also huge. The balcony had such a good view of the sea that it seemed to open into the sea. The staff kumar and Sadeepa had great hospitality, and catered to all our needs. The food was delicious and customized to our likes. There were two friendly dogs in the property. Overall a nice stay. Shall surely recommend to friends visiting this beautiful place.

Both choices of western and local breakfasts were well made. The staff went over and above in their treatment of the guests.

Amazing value for money, the rooms are huge. I took the king room for a night and it was very spacious, comfortable and clean. There's not much around the area except for the beaches but all in all, a very cozy, large property. Staff were very courteous and not nosy at all, ushered us into our rooms and gave a brief breakdown of the amenities. If you want to wind down and just relax on your balcony, this is very well worth it

Staff were super helpful and accommodating. Place was clean, rooms spacious and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast.

No hot water available in the bathroom. One of the rooms we booked had a stuffy smell as if it hadn’t been used for long. Airing the rooms before the guests check-in would help.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They welcomed us with a drink which was unexpected and most thoughtful. Clean and presentable room, providing in room tea. Lovely new, spacious bathroom. The room overlooked a beautiful landscape of the beach. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was INCREDIBLE. Table was laid and we had a scrumptious intercontinental breakfast, starting off with papaya juice and ending with fresh fruit salad. A must stay if you're in Galle. It's close to local eateries and little take away shops. Easy to locate and about 20 mins from Galle train station

Location Between Galle and Hickaduwa. No proper access to the beach near the Hotel. Only one staff to do everything. No proper parking space, and unable to turn the vehicle due to the Flour pot Arrangement.. No Name board of the Hotel, , Had to search for a long time. , No proper gate, risky to keep the Car outside. during night. No Sri Lanka Phoem No Givem to call, One no in France is given for a Hotel in Sri Lanka. Looks to be an incompleted new setup.

The staff was very friendly and ready to help. The room was clean. They bring 2 breakfasts to your room (one European and one Sri Lankan). Very tasty everything!

The rooms are huge. Washroom is too huge. Very clean. Breakfast is great. They serve Sri Lankan breakfast along with regular bread stuff. I booked for two nights but could only stay for a night due to my own schedule. The owner was kind enough to not charge me with two nights.

The room doesn't have double locking system. The location is slightly isolated. The wifi doesn't work. They dont check your IDs or anything. That made me feel weird.

Wow! 100x better than expected and so far, this is the most valued property I found here, when compared to the price. Excellent breakfast. Massive rooms, Dedicated wifi, TV, nice and luxurious interior. Massive bathroom with separate shower and toilet area. Hot water, Shampoo, Showerjel and everything. Closet, Locker, Sofa, balcony with sea view, I don't know what to ask. You can fit 100+ people in to the room. It's soo good. Highly recommended.

The prepared a breakfast for us on the balcony which was not only delicious but a great experience with the view of the sea! Really nice and friendly people running the place, they attended to even the littlest of our needs like getting us a phone charger, tuktuk, etc.

We have been the first guest s in the newly open Hotel. The owner as well the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful.Hotel is at the good location to Galle and near by beaches as well easy to commute with inexpensive tuck tucks or buses. Owner is a very kind and professional with decades of experience in top classes Hotels . Breakfast is nice and tasty.Rooms are very clean,spacy comfortable with a touch of French chick.Extremly large and nice bathroom.View to Indian Ocean from the big terrace. Staff is pleasant and helpful. All in all if You want a pleasant and comfortable stay at the south of Sri Lanka at the reasonable price Samsara is highly recommended small ,comfortable Hotel. Owner have a passion and high education in hospitality business to provide a best service to his customers.
