Sigiri Asna Nature Resort

Siamo stati 3 giorni presso il Sigiri Asna e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La struttura è immersa nella natura di Sigirya ed è un luogo tranquillo e silenzioso. Il resort dispone di una bella piscina per rilassarsi e un ristorante che offre ottimi piatti singalesi e internazionali. Le stanze sono dei bungalow curati, silenziosi e dotati di tutti i comfort. Essendo nel mezzo della natura sarà facile incontrare animali in giardino ma non ci hanno mai dato nessun fastidio. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Abbiamo usufruito anche del servizio lavanderia e hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro. Siamo stati davvero bene, consigliamo questo resort se volete scoprire Sigirya!!!

En el restaurante son lentos lentos lentos como para cenar haya delante 3 mesas preparate para esñerar un buen rato, a parte la comida es bastante flojita...aun con ello le pongo el 10 porque el resto del establecimiento y personal lo merece

Een heerlijk zwembad, het lieve personeel, de rust van het hele verblijf, het ontbijt, behulpzaamheid!

Wat ik anders zou doen: - wij verbleven drie nachten. In die drie nachten is er niemand van de housekeeping geweest met nieuwe handdoeken, etc. - het water is niet altijd warm. - airco kan niet in slaapstand dus flink gehorig snachts.

The hospitality was definitely the highlight of our stay. The two ladies at reception were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. They accommodated our last-minute request for an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The kitchen manager was also very warm and welcoming, always greeting us and making sure our breakfast was great. When we requested a special Sri Lankan breakfast, he went out of his way to arrange it for us. The swimming pool was also very clean and well-maintained, and the resort's peaceful setting in the middle of nature was lovely.

We found some ants on our bed one night. Given that the resort is located in the middle of a forest, this wasn't entirely unexpected, and the staff handled it very well by immediately changing our room when we informed them. The only other minor inconvenience was that there was no one at reception during the night, so it could be difficult to find someone if you needed assistance late at night.

Nieduży obiekt, z kilkoma domkami, tworzą bardzo klimatyczną całość. Na środku jest całkiem spory basen, idealny do relaksu po całym dniu zwiedzania. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra na bazę wypadową, w domkach czysto, śniadania smaczne

Pool seemed clean and well maintained. Staff were very good and helpful.

Rooms were cramped and bed is right behind the glass door with translucent curtains. Bathroom doors are transparent almost. Ridiculous. When I asked for a bottle of water I was charged 4 times the market rate for a 1L water bottle. Very horrible to not provide customers with basic water for drinking. Also they close the main gate before 10pm so if the vehicle we travel by comes after that then we have to search and make arrangements to open and enter the property.

Very nice hotel with a very pleasant swimming pool. Room was clean and ladies at the front desk really nice and helpful.

The location is a bit remote but easily reached with a tuk tuk

Heerlijk zwembad, fijne schone gezinskamers waarbij je wel samen maar toch ook wat apart van elkaar ligt. Service is goed, manager en receptie zeer vriendelijk. We hadden wat kleine probleempjes met een apparaat en dat losten ze heel goed op.

Wat ver van het gezellige centrum, een tuktuk enkele reis kost 1000 roepies. we vonden de maaltijden in het restaurant matig. Lijkt niet op de mooie plaatjes die op de menukaart staan. De ligbedjes bij het zwembad zijn wat aan de harde kant.

It was a beautiful location just outside the more busy part of sigiriya. Beautiful garden and swimmingpool. But above all, very good and friendly staff. They make you feel so welcome. The breakfast is very good and enough for everybodies taste. Dinner options also plenty and very good. We stayed here for 3 days and all the days were wonderfull. Thank you to all the staff for a pleasant stay!

Pensavo di trovare la spa aperta per provare un massaggio ayurvedico invece una volta arrivata mi hanno detto che la Spa era chiusa.

Vrij afgelegen. Het was moeilijk om ‘s avonds een tuktuk te vinden om van of naar bijvoorbeeld Sigiriya te rijden. Op de weg kunnen er zich wilde olifanten bevinden waardoor er maar een paar tuktuk drivers dit willen doen en dan enkel tegen vrij hoge prijzen. Water wordt niet aangeboden tijdens het ontbijt. Als je water vraagt wordt het je dan zonder vooraf te communiceren aangerekend. Enkel kraantjeswater is op aanvraag gratis.

De hele setting klopt, ze hebben het mooi aangelegd en erg aardige mensen, maar dat is eigelijk overal in Sri Lanka. Het ligt wel wat afgelegen, maar met auto/ tuktuk ben je zo bij de vele hotspots in de buurt.

We really enjoyed the comfort of the family room, the kindness of the staff, the lovely swimming pool. It's very close to pidurangala rock (1,5km we went there on foot), very quiet place. The breakfast was fantastic. We revommend.

One of the aircon in our room didn't really work properly, do not be in a hurry at the restaurant or order for a specific time, but those were really small details.

Loved the location, it's nested further away from the main road and buzz. Tranquil location, surrounded by nature. Only a short drive from restaurants and shops. Food was tasty, pool refreshing. Family Vila was spacious with good storage. I would not hesitate to come back again.

Really big rooms which were spotless. The hotel is a little out of town and you need a tuktuk/driver if you want to go the 5 minutes into Sigirya and more meal options

The hotel doesn't serve alcohol which I should have checked first!

De rustige ligging ten opzichte van Sigiriya. En toch was het met onze prive chauffeur en zijn busje in een paar minuutjes te berijden naar het centrum. Prima faciliteiten en de 3 slaapkamer / 3 badkamer villa was echt super ruim.

De bedden zijn voor ons wat aan de harde kant.

Lovely hotel close to Lions Rock. We were a family of four and the family rooms (with two double beds) worked perfectly for us. Hotel was clean and facilities good. The pool was a decent size and had a small section for children. The food was plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly and great with children. We were able to order food ahead of time (as everything is cooked fresh so can take time to arrive!) as well as providing packed lunches. They even made porridge just for the kids for breakfast. The hotel is alittle out of town but only a short drive away.

Sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage im Bungalow-Stil mit schönem Pool in der Mitte. Super freundliches und immer bemühtes Personal. Frühstück ist ausreichend und Eierspeisen werden nach Wunsch zubereitet. Wir konnten am Nachmittag vom Hotel aus bequem in ca. 60 Minuten per Fußmarsch auf das Bergplateu Pidurangala wandern.

Die schöne Gartenanlage. Der Pool in dem man gut schwimmen konnte. Die Nähe zum Lions Rock. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut eingerichtet.

Die Dusche war zwei Tage kalt trotz langem Wasser laufen lassen. Sie waren unflexibel beim Frühstück: als wir früh zum Lions Rock wollten weder Lunch Paket noch späteres Frühstück. Das Frühstück war einmal, als mehr Gäste anwesend waren, abwechslungsreich mit warmen Speisen und lecker. Das andere Mal nur Toast, Obst und Eierspeisen. Auch auf Nachfrage nicht mehr Auswahl. Das Abendessen hatte für SL Verhältnisse kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

We had such a beautiful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly with refreshing drinks and cold towels — such a lovely touch after travelling. The staff were all absolutely wonderful, and the property itself is immaculately maintained. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had the most tranquil jungle vibe — it really felt like a peaceful escape. As we were leaving very early in the morning, the team kindly prepared little takeaway packs for us, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The kids also loved the pool!

This place is excellent. Beautiful surroundings right in nature. Staff were fantastic, went out of their way to get dinner ready for our children and were just fabulous. They organised a great safari for us. Such good value for money. So clean! Pool fab. Just lovely.

Eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, aber der Ortskern und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell zu erreichen. Ideal wenn man dem Trubel entkommen und zwischendrin einfach mal die Ruhe genießen möchte. Zum Pidurangala Rock sind es mit dem TukTuk nur etwa 5 Minuten. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Am Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich Auswahl. Wir haben jeden Abend im hoteleigenen Restaurant gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden.

Im Badezimmer und Vorraum gibt es ein kleines Schimmelproblem.

The room was really nice and the place is very quiet what is really good for us.

Check in staff were ok, but we were led to room by a staff member who stayed talking on his phone and when we got to the room it wasnt ready and he asked us to wait outside. We then didn't have towels or a room key., For the relative price and size of operation it was let down by its organisation.

Ma chambre n’a pas été nettoyé entre le premier et le second jour - la fenêtre de la salle de bain ne peut être fermée excepté si l’on fait 2 mètres - alors que nous sommes dans un pays producteur de café et de thé, au petit déjeuner on nous propose des sachets.

Wir sind als Familie zu viert gereist und haben uns im Resort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr naturnah und ruhig gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Zum Essen sind wir mit Tuk Tuks in die nächste Ortschaft gefahren. Das liess sich immer schnell organisieren. Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und sehr abwechslungsreich, der Pool gross genug, um Bahnen zu schwimmen. Besonders freuten wir uns über unseren Fahrer Sarath, der uns vom Hotel organisiert wurde, uns von Colombo abholte und noch bei zwei weiteren Transfers mit interessanten Zwischenstops begleitete.

All the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the nice man who runs the restaurant. The accommodation was basic, but clean and quiet. It had a very relaxing atmosphere.

It's a little bit out of the way, which may suit some people and it was fine for us, for a two night stay. I enjoy a beer when on holiday, but the selection was poor, only the Lion Lager beer. This needs improving for Northern European Beer drinking guests.

The units were well laid out and clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location made it easier to travel to other places within Sigiriya for visits/sightseeing.

Beautiful peaceful accommodation on outskirts of Sigiriya. After exploring and hiking and going on safari. Asna (as tuk tuk drivers call it) was a welcome retreat . The staff were fabulous, helping with transport, activities etc, the food delicious. I recommend ordering the Sri Lankan Curry and Rice for dinner. They need at least one hours notice to prepare and it was so delicous! My kids wanted mild and they accommodated without compromising on flavour. The pool also great after hiking and exploring. So lovely to have a spot to read and relax. The room was spacious and clean.

Beautiful resort in the middle of the forest. You are surrounded by monkeys and wild animals so make sure not to leave anything on the porch. Breakfast was okay, many different options (eggs, porridge, jam, srilankan). Dinner is a bit over priced, but the restaurant will serve food until 9.30 so it’s convenient. The staff is helpful and nice. The pool is also a nice add on. Overall our experience was positive but bear in mind it’s not the cheapest option of course and to me slightly over priced.

整个房间特别大的霉味，我们打开窗户和门透气了2个小时依然没有任何用，霉味一直在。枕头也是霉味的，第二天早上我耳朵后面和脖子后面就有皮肤的炎症。厕所里有很浓的厕所清洁剂的味道。早餐也很简陋，只有香肠、煎蛋、炸香蕉是好吃的

Umidità elevata e conseguente odore nella camera. Alla mia richiesta di cambiare sono stato gentilissimi e hanno prontamente preparato un’altra stanza con decisamente meno muffa.
