As it was in the middle of winter, it was lovely to have an electric blanket in the main bedroom (queen bed) and the heat pump and main bedroom heaters made it easy and quick to warm the cottage up. Very comfortable stay. Quality accomm at an affordable price.

A few days before we were due to arrive I sent an e-mail after I received confirmation of our stay to request a rollaway bed (which was an option provided) and an earlier check in due to attending an event that afternoon and we hoping to get read at the accommodation. This was not replied to and not resolved until we arrived. The timings worked out in the end but I was a little nervous about not hearing back and whether our request was able to be accommodated.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Both husband & wife who welcomed us at reception were friendly and very nice. They gave my daughters and I the map of the facility & recommended the The Track Restaurant next door which we went for dinner and was excellent.
Everything about this Top 10 was AAA+. I highly recommend to stay here. We definitely will be back. We may need a bigger cabin when we bring the whole family down.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026We are a family of 4 and stayed in one of the self contained cottages. We needed an extra bed at the last minute for another family member and it was no problem for staff. It faced the Havelock Hills and the view from our porch was spectacular. The cottage was slightly dated but very comfortable and had everything we needed. The facilities at the park were brand new and outstanding (pool, communal kitchen and toilets) The grounds are beautifully kept, quiet and once trees grow a little more, very private. It’s all within walking distance to the village and a short car ride to Hastings. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would recommend to all!
Only a minor thing but my pillow wasn’t very comfortable.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025Stayed here for a short get away - ideal location, close to the cbd but also feels tucked away and private which is what I like, beautiful location and modern rooms and amenities, really great value - on-site restaurant and bar was handy as I didn't need to go to far and they were open for dinner and lunch, reception staff were really helpful and had plenty of suggestions of nearby activities and attractions - will be back, only next time for a little longer as there is plenty more to see and do Showers were amazing - really good pressure and nice and hot and rooms were super clean Had an amazing sleep as beds and pillows super comfortable -
