Hestia - Kolokotroni 23

This was our first time staying at a Hestia hotel. The suite was spectacular - very spacious and extremely well laid out, designed, furnished, and equipped. If we were fortunate enough to need a place to stay for a week or a month for work, it would be ideal for a long term stay like that. We loved the long wall of windows, the partition separating the kitchen and living area from the bed, clost, and bath, the walk-in closet, the design of the kitchen island and seating, the design of the bathroom, the separate freezer and refrigerator (stacked), the keyless entry to the building, floor, and unit, and the bed was super comfortable. Also, managers were very responsive via WhatsApp.

Coffee pods and supplies are only provided on the first day, which was not explitly stated. Based on common practice at the many other apartment hotels we had stayed at over the previous 5 weeks, we requested additional coffee pods and supplies, and extra towels on the second day. The representative we spoke with told us to buy coffee ourselves if we want more coffee, and was not particularly accomodating (we felt was rude). After our strong push back with that individual, someone else took over and agreed to accomodate our requests. This may be a training or personnel issue.. We understand if this is intended to be a longer stay property and that they may have a policy of not replenishing coffee, but if so, that needs to be stated clearly up front to clarify expectations We operate vacation rentals ourselves (with ample coffee) and pay particular attention these sorts of issues that can needlessly sour guets' overall experience.

Close proximity to so much. The apartment is large with so much space and storage. Also the spa shower and King size bed made our stay relaxing after spending time at the islands.

Apartment is super modern and has all needed facilities. The shower has streamer in case someone would like to relax. The location is perfect 2mins walk from syntagma and surrounded by good restaurants Would definitely book again for my next trip to Athens

We stayed in a wonderful, lively tourist area, very close to many of the main attractions. The location was extremely convenient, and we also felt very safe — we enjoyed walking around the area until late in the evening. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Technically it is a studio, but the space is cleverly divided into separate sleeping, living, and well-equipped kitchen areas. The bed deserves a special mention — it was absolutely wonderful and extremely comfortable. The shower is spacious and separated from the sleeping area by a frosted glass partition. The windows face a small street with bars and cafés, with cars passing by regularly throughout the day and evening, so we were especially impressed by the excellent soundproofing. Even on Saturday nights, when the neighborhood was especially lively and people stayed out at the bars until very late, the soundproofing was so good that we could barely hear anything with the windows closed. The air conditioning is also divided into separate zones, which was very convenient and made a huge difference during the July heat. The apartment is located on the second floor, and there is an elevator in the building. The Wi-Fi was excellent and worked reliably throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our stay here: a spacious and comfortable apartment, a fantastic bed, excellent soundproofing, great Wi-Fi, and a convenient location within walking distance of many of the sights.

Luxurious apartment, spotless, modern, stylish, very well located in the centre of the city. The bed is very big and comfortable. I love it and I will certainly go back again. Communication with the management was excellent, they were very kind and helpful. It was easy to find, I received many messages with all the details.

It is a good space and the location is very center, you can walk anywhere from this aparmtment.

It is a little bits noisy on Fri or Sat night due to the people party outside but if you live in a city center, it is hard to avoid.

The suite blew us away with how nice it was. Central location too

The room sizes were fantastic. The size of the apartment was great.

Great location - not too far from the Metro and close to some really nice bars (Lous's wine bar) and places to eat. The apartment was really clean and spacious. The shower was so good - just what you want when you arrive off a 5 hour ferry. I loved that the bathroom and toilet were separate. I would definitely stay here again!

The entry code system worked fine for us, but I think the message could be clearer (in English anyway). Entry Code for the Building should be 1st on the list. The first code listed as "Entry Code" was for the actual Apartment. The Building Code was under "Common Spaces". This was confusing.

Well located in the centre of Athens, near key sights and bars & eateries. Also within easy walking distance of Syntagma Square so easy access to the subway to get to the airport and Piraeus. Very comfortable bed, very clean and great to have luggage storage before and after check-in and check-out. Also had good plug in points for wifi.

TV didn’t work (although we were offered an upgrade to another room instead), coffee machine also didn’t work with only 1 pod of normal coffee & 1 pod of decaf coffee supplied (not that we could use it anyway). We weren’t notified about how to get in prior to check-in & the person we spoke to was rather abrupt with us. Room is perfectly acceptable but a bit impersonal - more like a place you would stay for work.

Just a nice to have things, a shoe brash. A trip to acropolis may makes lots of dust on your shoes :)

3 floors with 1 unit on each floor. No common areas except outside in the public areas which was fine for us. Many stairs if you have luggage. The owner was there when we got there and carried our luggage up the stairs. He was awesome and more than helpful. The location is perfect and right in the center of everything. Rooms not huge but so cozy and clean and priced perfect! East to get ubers from and walk to everything! Great place!

The 3rd floor people didn't arrive until 1am and were not quiet banging their suitcases all the way up the stairs but that is just ignorance and nothing to do with the owner.

There was a little noise on Friday and Saturday nights from the bars near by.

Τα δωμάτιοα ήταν ακόμα καλύτερα από ό,τι στις φωτογραφίες, εξαιρετικά φωτεινά, πλήρως εξοπλισμένα και με μοντέρνα διαρρύθμιση και βρισκονται σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία.

Στο ένα δωμάτιο αντιμετωπίσαμε στην αρχή μικρή δυσκολία με το touchpad και την εισαγωγή του κωδικού εισόδου, ωστόσο οι οικοδεσπότες ανταποκρίθηκαν αμέσως στο τηλεφώνημα μας και διόρθωσαν το ζήτημα εξ αποστάσεως αμεσότατα.

I liked the excellent location. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and well-equipped.

There was only one towel rail in the bathroom, so if you use two towels, there isn’t enough space to hang them properly to dry.

Luxe accomodatie met hotelservice. Dagelijks poetsen en handdoeken. App. had 2 zeer ruime slaapkamerd, 3 badkamers (1 met bad en 1 met stoomcabine) en 3 wc. Afzonderlijke vriezer en vaatwas (tabletten voorzien). Koffiezet met capsules (ook voorzien) en theebuiltjes. Emailservice bij vragen onmiddellijk antwoord. Zeet ruime lockers in inkomhal voor laatste dag koffers op te bergen.

פעם שניה שאני מתארחת פה. בפעם הקודמת היה לי חדר עצום, הפעם חדר די רגיל אם כי גדול יותר מחדר במלון. אין מקום לתלות מגבות אילתרנו על ארונות והמתקן מזוודות. לא ברור למה מקום שהושקע בו כל כך הרבה לא חשב על פרט פשוט כל כך. גם במיטה יש רק בצד אחד מדף קטן בצד השני אין כלום. גם פה אילתרנו. בסך הכל מקום נהדר

Perfect location, very responsive and helpful staff. Spacious apartment with 3 toilets, 2 showers and 1 bath. Beds were super comfortable. The hammam feature was great and made our stay feel even more elevated and luxurious. Overall a wonderful place and experience - will be back for sure!

Although the location is good in terms of proximity to centre of Athens, it is actually adjacent to a bar/restaurant street (alley) and it gets very loud during the night and after midnight hours.

From the moment I booked Hestia Kolokotroni 23 I knew I had made a good choice. They responded to me quickly and answered all of my many questions. When we arrived it was easy to gain access and the location of this apartment couldn't have been better!! We were within easy walking distance of almost everything including the Acropolis area and many lovely restaurants and shopping. The owners give you so many good options for these things and we did enjoy a couple of the restaurants recommended. Honestly, my friend and I both agree that we will stay here again when in Athens and will recommend to other friends. Lovely lovely lovely. Thank you so much for all of the attention to details.

I wish we had stayed more than 1 night because of how great the apartment and location is. And very clean with all of the basic needs met.

There is only one thing that annoyed me and it’s the automatic light in the toilet! It just can’t stay on while you’re inside. Everything else was perfect!
