Thank you to you and your wonderful team for the excellent hospitality and warm welcome. You made us feel comfortable and truly at home from the moment we arrived. Villa Lembah Damai is an absolute masterpiece-beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Every detail reflects the care and attention put into creating such a wonderful place. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite, friendly, and calm, making our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. We genuinely appreciated their kindness and professionalism. De locatie was prachtig en uniek.

Doordat er verder geen andere gasten waren was de menukaart erg minimalistisch. Dat was er niet en dit is op dat was het antwoord.

The villa was absolutely stunning. A proper retreat in the Bali Jungle. It was so peaceful, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and made an effort to get to know us as more than just fleeting guests. The room was exactly as described, and the bed may just be the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Super clean and well kept. Great communication and very reasonably priced. The breakfasts were amazing!!!

The location, whilst gorgeous in its own right, was very remote. You’d need a scooter or private driver to get around - but the hotel can help with this. And if you want a remote retreat, this is perfect. We booked for 5 nights, 2 would be enough. The food options for lunch/dinner were very limited which made it tricky without a shop or mart nearby. It’s nice that the food is home cooked, but the quality and quantity varies considerably. Lots of items not in stock which leaves you with a handful of options. The pool is freezing!!!! If we could lounge by the pool and dip in, it would have made such a difference but we couldn’t get in above the knees (&I’m a water baby!!) Finally - to no fault of the villa, but there’s often quite a lot of noise surrounding the villa. From dogs howling through the night to pigs squealing 3 times a day from the nearby pig farm. By no means enough to be a deal breaker, but worth noting.

Magnifique hotel, extrêmement bien décoré, avec vue sur la jungle. Parfait endroit pour se reposer et profiter de la beauté de la nature et du lieu.

Etablissement assez isolé. On y vient pour profiter de l’endroit - pour rayonner autour il faut prévoir un moyen de transport.

De rust en de enorme kamers. De ligging is de jungle is perfect voor rust.

Kleine ruhige Oase im Nirgendwo von Bali. Leider hatte mein Mann gleich kurz nach der Anreise einen schweren Motorollerunfall und wir mussten größtenteils unserer Zeit im Krankenhaus verbringen. Aber besonders Gheza unterstützte mich und später auch meinen Mann mit allen, was nur denkbar ist. Dadurch kamen wir leichter durch die unangenehmsten Tage unserer Reise.

Es liegt so weit abseits, dass der nächste Shop, die nächste Gaststätte … doch einiges an Aufwand bedeutet, es sei denn man hat Mietauto oder Roller.

Beautiful place to stay! The property is clean, tidy, and very well maintained. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring—they were always ready to help whenever needed. We felt completely at ease during our stay, and the pool was perfect for a refreshing swim. We also loved the activities offered nearby especially the cooking class, which was both fun and enriching. The fireflies dinner activity was truly magical and added a beautiful, unforgettable touch to our stay.

Many stairs

Villa Lembah Damai was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and we think this was the best stay ever for our first time in Bali. The room was clean and comfortable. The villa and facilities were perfect for the jungle setting, including a nice open air gym, great pool and perfect massage spot. What truly made our stay was the people. Gheza was always so helpful and quick to respond to any of our requests. We had a yoga class and 3 massages all arranged beautifully and so fun and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing every day, brought to us when we wanted to have it in the room as well. We also had dinner at the villa 4 times out of 6 night stay because we loved it so much from the first night. The food was fresh and so delicious, especially the spring rolls, nasi goreng Balinese and banana fritters !!! Dewa, Soni, Kareem and all the team at the facility have been amazing and showed us true Balinese hospitality, as well as Andika our driver suggested by the villa. We can’t wait to be back we will miss Villa Lembah Damai so much!!

L’accès à la plage est très compliqué : 10 min en voiture et la route est très endommagée (nombreux gros trou sur la route)

Un accueil très chaleureux du réceptionniste, une cuisine à qui on devrait donner non pas 1 mais 2 étoiles Michelin. Nous avons eu la chance de déguster 4 de ses plats qui nous ont fait voyager dans les profondeurs de Bali. Un cadre idilique, authentique loin de la sur fréquentation touristique et d’un calme reposant. Une piscine digne d’un cinq étoiles en immersion dans la jungle. Une salle de massage dans une cabane en bambou, une chambre spacieuse et d’une propreté qui n’a rien à redire.

Petit point négatif et personnel l’humidité dû à la jungle. Mais un hôtel qui sais prendre soin de ses clients, nous a quand même mis un humidificateur dans disposition.

You get what you see in the pictures. It’s a beautiful view, nice decor, very good breakfast. Very peaceful place. I really want to thank Wayan, the property’s driver for being patient and reasonable, and making half of my experience possible being that there is such a far distance to enjoy anything worthwhile.

Stay here if you want to be isolated from everything. If not please be aware it takes 1.5 to 2 hrs to get anywhere and you have to coordinate likely the day before to go, even just to a restaurant. Ubud is 20-45 min away depending on traffic. Had I known how remote it was I may have booked elsewhere. Also, the surfaces and sheets in the bedroom and bathroom were moldy. Keeping the AC on isn’t enough. If a room is vacant for a while you should still wash the sheets and curtains. There was also a leak in my bathroom that wasn’t resolved, which was dangerous on the smooth tile surface and I slipped during the night.

Das Hotel ist eine Insel der Entspannung mitten in Bali. Die Anlage ist wundervoll gestaltet, die Zimmer (es gibt nur 6) sind klasse. Frühstück und Abendessen wird frisch und nach Wunsch zubereitet. Die Rezeption unterstützt bei allen Angelegenheiten, hier bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Das Hotel liegt recht abgelegen und ruhig, so bekommt man eine andere Seite von Bali zu Gesicht. Wir hatten hier sehr erholsame Tage.

Die ruhige Lage bringt selbstverständlich mit sich, dass man einen Roller mieten sollte, wenn man etwas herumkommen möchte: Ubud, Gunung Batur, oder einfach nur durch einen ruhigen, abgelegenen Teil der Insel rollern.

If you’re looking to soak up the view and get cozy, the room’s open and not private. Just a heads-up, the food portion might be a bit small if you’re a big eater!

Confort et calme absolu de l’endroit dans un pur style balinais avec une vaste chambre : piscine à débordement avec belle vue. Idéal pour un vrai farniente

Loin de tout : option location scooter très facile pour bouger jusqu’au champs de riz en escaliers à 10 km. Attention à la route….

L’hôtel est magnifique, le cadre également, très immersif. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est très confortable. La vue de l’hôtel est à couper le souffle.

Le fait d’être isolé en plein milieu de la jungle est très joli mais contraint les clients à manger sur place, malheureusement le service de restauration n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur du lieu… nourriture réchauffée sans beaucoup de goût… et ambiance un peu froide durant les repas, pas de musique de fond..

Er ging een vreemde geur in de kamer en het water in het zwembad leek een beetje troebel te zijn.

Eine wunderschöne, ruhige Villa. Sehr geschmackvoll im balinesischen Stil eingerichtet. Wir haben nur indonesische Gerichte bestellt und die waren hervorragend. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wäscheservice innerhalb von 24 Std.

Die Liegen am Pool hatten keine Auflagen, dies sollte geändert werden. Ferner muss man sich darüber im klaren sein, das die Villa sehr abgelegen ist. Uns hat die Ruhe sehr gefallen.

El alojamiento es muy bonito, con un diseño muy particular en madera y piedra tallada. Está ubicado en el medio de la nada y las vistas son totalmente verde. Es muy tranquilo.

La ubicación puede generate problemas para conseguir conductores que te lleven (por ejemplo las app de taxis no nos funcionaba ahí, nadie acepta los viajes ya que es muy lejos y por carreteras complicadas). El desayuno no es buffet, te dan a elegir entre varios combos. El pan y la pastelería era viejo, no me gustó nada. El restaurante para almorzar y cenar tenía muy poca variedad (y en los alrededores no encontrarás nada).

Un établissement incroyable ! Tout est parfait. Le personnel et les lieux. Il y’a des chefs cuisiniers pour préparer le dîner et le petit déjeuner c’est très très bon. Nous somme plus que satisfait de cet endroit c’était incroyable. La chambres était très belle ainsi que la salle de bain. Très belle décoration dans l’intégralité de cet hôtel et piscine avec une très belle vu, très agréable

Le seul bémol je dirait que s’est l’humidité.A chambre sent une odeur et les draps du lit sont humide ce qui peux être un peu dérangeant

Tesisin konumu inanılmaz uzak yani bir yere gidip gelirken rezil olduk. Havaalanına abartmıyorum taksitle 4 saatte gittik yollar cok dar trafik inanılmaz kötü tesisin balinin en kuzeyinde çok uzak ormanın içinde acayip soğuk.Tesisi tam bir hayal kırıklığı.

Die Lage im Dschungel ist mystisch. Die Executive Suite bietet einen sehr guten Ausblick und ist sehr großzügig. Es gibt ein sehr schönes Schachspiel im Zimmer. Es gab genug Liegen am Pool. Das Essen war sehr gut, auf der Karte sind Empfehlungen angegeben, denen man folgen sollte. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Das Zimmer mit großem Balkon verfügt leider nicht über Sonnenliegen oder Sessel auf dem Balkon.

Het eten niet goed begrepen worden door het personeel van het restaurant het eten was ook niet goed kreeg het vaak koud en kon letterlijk zien dat me eten af en toe al klaar was maar stond gewoon op de Bali koud te worden en ijsklontjes die ze zogenaamd niet hadden maar vervolgens krijg je ice tea met ijsklontje en die waren van kraanwater gemaakt.

Lieve behulpzame staf en vooral het overheerlijke ontbijt, lunch en dinner. Uitzicht is prachtig. Paradijs in the middle of knowhere. We vierden met onze kids onze trouwdag hier en ze hebben super mooi de tafel met bloemetjes gedekt aan het zwembad. Ze maken overal iets bijzonders van. Kamers zijn prachtig. Dankjewel lieve allemaal van villa Lembah Damai dat jullie ons verblijf zo bijzonder hebben gemaakt🤍

Absolutely stunning. Has to be one of the most beautiful locations and accomodation we have experienced. The staff went above and beyond to cater for us. The food was simple and delicious. The views were spectacular....so peaceful .

I actually only had one dinner at your venue, in my room, and it was very tasty . It was cooked by a lovely friendly young woman.

The smell from pig farms was not so pleasant but I realise its just part of the environment in this area.

The room was amazing.

Location was pretty however extremely isolated. No transport services except 1 hotel car that was always out. We had to wait 45 min to get transport via a friend to leave on departure day. Due to this we cut our trip short.

Secluded, private and beautifuly decorated villas. Big rooms with big bathrooms. The staff was very nice. The house keeper and kitchen staff asked a friendly neighboor to lent us a pump amd helped me with the flat tire on my motor bike.

The bed was a litrle to soft for my liking. Otherwise everthing was fine.

The property is in a quiet location, so it's very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and the food at the villa was quite good.

The humidity in the area is quite high (might've been particularly bad as the rainy season had just finished). As a consequence, the rooms have quite a damp smell/atmosphere which is not the most comfortable. I stayed at a garden suite but had to change after the first night because the smell was very strong. I moved to another room next door which was better, but still had this humidity issue.

Moldy smell in the rooms and strong smell of sewage/urine in the bathroom. Sleep quality - very poor due to a very soft mattress and an air freshener (wall mounted) with a frequent and automatic release masking scent which is sharp and unpleasant in itself. The staff tries their best, but it seems that this small hotel needs more staff for different roles. Pity that the pool is not heated and the water is very cold. The hotel could improve on general cleanliness and a new sunbeds/matrasses

Nothing, was perfect stay I was looking for away from hustle and bustle.

The envirement is perfect to relax with a perfect view. The food is delicious and we can ask for couple massage with an amazing ambient. The bathroom is unic.

Definitely a little Paradise in Bali, far away from the hustle and buste (but a driver or day programma van be easily arranged). The place is so beautiful decorated, staff is amazing, the food is great, the garden, the pool, the Balinese massages. So sorry we had to leave. Thank you for feeling at home!

During our stay, there was a power cut, and unfortunately, the hotel was not adequately prepared for it. We had to request a torch as none were readily available. Additionally, one of our two rooms had no hot water. Several items listed on the menu were unavailable, and both the pool and toilet seats were not as clean as expected. While the staff members were very kind, they struggled to effectively address these issues.

What was not to like. Quiet and secluded, great views, pool, lovely room. We stayed two more nights. Availability of a driver made everything reachable. This not for those wanting to wander into town.

It feels like a paradise hidden in Bali. The staff is very helpful and they are always keen to help. I loved the private yoga class we booked.

It can be a bit challenge to get to the hotel: it's a bit far from everything. To those who are not aware (because I was not) the hotel is a bit on a high point so it can be a bit colder than in other parts of the island. The food was good but sometimes not as natural as we had in other places.

Room was great. Swimming pool and area were incredible. Breakfast was good, not amazing. 100% beautiful and quiet area! Time on the motorbike was next level amazing. Easy access to other middle island car and driver or motorbike days. Close enough to Ubud for a car and driver even though getting one out there can sometimes be a challenge. No Grab here. Lots of upscale hotels hidden around for food and luxury as long as you have transport like a motorbike. Easy to rent motorbike here. Amazing property view! Not walkable. Remote and quiet if you want to stay still in a beautiful and large home.

Lunch and dinner not acceptable and should be considered not available. Beer and snacks only. Pizza was frozen cardboard. Must have transportation to stay here or have access to a dedicated driver on speed dial. No local restaurants available for the most part. Bring your own travel plans for the days you are here.

Far from Ubud centrum & expensive taxi & grab prices due to elevation

We've stayed at over 6 different places whilst visiting Bali, and I can say that Villa Lembah Damai was the best of our stays. It is a hidden gem located in Taro village, which is North to Ubud and right next to tropical rainforests. The location is very serene, as it's a little secluded, with not a lot to do in the proximity unless you drive a scooter or hire a driver. This wasn't a problem for us as it is easy to hire a driver, should you need one. Overall, the secludedness and sense of privacy is what we thought made this a really special stay. This is some top notch resort, with incredible views, staff and facilities. Would definitely come back, and if we ever returned to Bali, we'd prioritise staying at this location for longer.

Amazing staff, clean and wonderful view, however, the location a little far from the attraction. I would recommend using hotel shuttle service

The staff members are so helpful and kind. The place is lovely, a nice and small accommodation, with only 6 or so rooms. It's quiet and relaxing. The infinity pool is also great and clean. The size of the room and bathroom is pretty good.

The room we received had like a mold type of smell. The bathroom also had a funny smell from the pipes. The shower was acting up, it was running either cold or hot water so was tricky to get to the right temperature. The WiFi didn't work for us. We did get some discount for the laundry we did to compensate the inconvenience.

The villa felt like a nature retreat. It was extremely serene and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was also exceptional, and home-cooked. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience and we highly recommend it ! We will definitely revisit if given the opportunity :) thank you

It was a truly heavenly experience, exactly what I needed. Aesthetically pleasing, the nature looks juicy and fertile. Night sky is out of the fairy tale. Professional stuff, ready to fulfil any wish. A big thank you to the chef who prepared drinks out of the menu that tasted delicious. I extended my stay for one more night and got 15% discount.

Air fresheners that I’m allergic to Not many vegetarian options Pee smell in the bathroom that was taken care of the moment I mentioned it, my bathroom received a deep cleaning that got rid of the smell.

A beautiful, quiet spot far from the busy streets. I had a very relaxing stay, the food was delicious and staff friendly. I really loved the carved furniture, art, and the garden. There's day trip options nearby, but I just enjoyed relaxing and eating good food.

It was an excellent stay. The only small problem I had was a loud gecko in the room. Everything else was perfect. Also, very early in the morning, they started to spread the chairs or daybeds, and it was quite loud; the sound of the chairs slapping against the floor woke me up.

Tasty breakfast, but wait a little too long for the cook to prepare.. Better ask the villa guest to select the breakfast option in advance.

This place was actually beautiful, but.. It was far from literally everythingggg! It was around 30-40 min from tegalallang and if you happen to drive on your own to this place, make sure ur vehicle is on good conditions & u have good driving skill.

Everything— location, the view, so much to explore, wonderful gym, pool, food, and dining area. It was exquisite beyond belief. Complementary fruit was a nice surprise!

The location, faraway from the hustle of Ubud or the South Coast; the level of care in the details of the hotel and the restaurant; the tasty meals prepared on the spot fkr us; the atmosphere, the kindness of the staff, the pool. Waking up overlooking the splendour of the forest in the morning mist...falling asleep to the peaceful croaking of frogs...we had a wonderful time!

Sadly our room was a bit damp because of the rainy weather. The location is amazing, only pity is that the mountain is often cloudier than the other parts of Bali.

There was no fridge in our room and the cost of a driver was very expensive and due to the property being so remote (which was nice and peaceful) it was hard to get around. Luckily we had our normal driver for Bali who charges 800.000 a day. Where as the villa staff wanted 300.000 just to drop us 30 minutes down the road for dinner.

Everything! The staff,location,facilities and villa was exemplar. The views are stunning and the cooking was fantastic all at a great price. The rooms are large and have everything you need. Good location for lots of activities. Staff are so helpful. Just an amazing place for a chilled peaceful stay. I would stay here again 100%
