Location fantastic for the price

For me, the highlight of my trip was this place because of the family that this place belongs to — they live behind the property. They are the most nice and kind people I’ve ever met I sat with them every evening and we talked for hours! The rooms are basic but really sufficient if you're just looking for a place to shower and sleep. The place is very clean and equipped with everything you need, and the staff is very friendly and helps with anything you need.

I recommend sleeping on the upper floor, since the rooms on the lower floor are right on the pool and there isn't much privacy.

昔ながらの家の一角にあり、儀式用の供物を準備しているところなども見れ、ウブドの暮らしを感じた。また、オーナーご夫妻が片言の英語で、一生懸命に暖かく迎えてくれた。中心からも近く、飲食店に行くのが便利だった。

In unserem Zimmer roch es etwas nach Feuchtigkeit in den Wänden.

全てにおいてお値段以上でした。 お部屋も可愛く清潔で設備やアメニティもしっかりしてます。スタッフも親切で おばあちゃんがバナナくれたりといったアットホームさもあり居心地もよかったです。さらにロケーションもよくて価格も安い。 ここでもっとゆっくりすればよかったと思いました。ウブドに来る際はまたここに泊まりたいです。

L'hotel si trova dentro la casa privata di una famiglia molto ospitale e sempre sorridente. È un hotel a gestione familiare e ci sono 8 camere. Per una maggiore privacy consiglio quelle al piano superiore. Appena siamo arrivato arrivati in camera abbiamo trovato una lettera di benvenuto e degli snack. La colazione ha un costo a parte e va ordinata la sera prima per il giorno successivo e si consuma sul terrazzo della propria camera. La stanza è un pochino piccola. Tra le comodità presenti segnalo: l'aria condizionata, la tv, l'ascougacapelli, la cassaforte e amenities come lo spazzolino o la cuffia per capelli.

Absolutely perfect, very beautiful accommodation practically in the center of Ubud, right off the main shopping street, with plenty of restaurants and shops all around, and only a 10-minute walk to the temple. The property consists of 8 apartments built around a pool, and all of them have a balcony or a terrace facing the pool. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with air conditioning and a minibar. There is always someone present and very helpful at the reception until late at night—they automatically refill drinking water, and you can buy chilled drinks and small snacks there. Breakfast options are also available

Excellent location, lovely staff

Rapport qualité prix emplacement au top. La famille du propriétaire qui vit à proximité est très accueillante, on s’y sent comme à la maison. Lieu agréable, au sein d’une résidence balinaise. Vous serez tout de suite dépaysé. Le personnel souriant et très gentil également.

Everything, all little details are considered. They even have universal charging points. The courtyard is very peaceful and the location brilliant. The staff even helped me plan some activities including the hike to Mt Batur.

Everything was amazing, I wanted to stay longer but it was sold out.

kleines Hotel mit nur 8 Zimmern, gute Lage, trotzdem ruhig, alles sauber, und wie eigentlich immer auf Bali unglaublich freundliche Staff - Grüße an Sonia :-) wir wollten verlängern, war aber ausgebucht - schade. Wifi war auch gut.

man muss sein Früstück am Tag vorher bis 21h über das Handy bestellen, hatte ich mehrmals vergessen, dann gibtś kein Frühstück - bischen blöd, aber mein Fehler…

Petit hôtel familial vraiment très agréable, le cadre est très, le personnel est très gentil et sont aux petits soins. L’emplacement est parfait, on peut tout faire à pied dans le centre de Ubud.

Pas de porte serviette dans la salle de bain ce qui est un peu embêtant pour faire sécher les essuie mais à part ça, rien à signaler!

We are very grateful by choosing this very superb place. From the pre-arrival service, fast respond , welcoming us, all are great. All the pictures seen online all are exactly the same as what we saw in real. All spots are very clean, simple and functional, it seems that each parts of the house is taken seriously for the sake of our comfort. They even have us free extra breakfast for our kids. They are very kind. This place is a perfect blend of modern hospitality and a real value of local genus of a balinese people. I am surely back again to this gem and I will greatly recommend this to every one who would prefer to stay in the middle of Ubud but seeking a zen spot.

We love everything about this place, but yesterday the internet connection a bit trouble.

Kleines schön designtes Hotel. Sehr zentral und trotzdem leise. Sehr nettes Personal und hat mir immer wieder kostenlose Gerichte (sehr leckere) bereitgestellt.

Super convenient location for central Ubud. The hotel is located at the back of the family compound which is interesting if you have not been to Bali before. Staff and family are really friendly. Beds are super comfortable and it is nice to have a dip in the pool.

After having spent two months out in the rice fields, I found it a little crowded. But this is normal in the city and I found it super easy to adjust. I would recommend staying on the upper floors, if you would like more privacy.

Tuli tervetullut olo. Henkilökunta oli avulias. Oli kiva yllätys kun hotelliin kuljettiin perheen kodin pihan läpi. Siinä näki samalla paikallisten elämää. Sain hedelmiä perheen isoäidiltä. Hotelli oli siisti ja siellä oli kaikki tarvittava muutaman yön kaupunkilomaan.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, de locatie is perfect en de kamer is erg schoon en comfortabel.

We stayed here for one night, and it was amazing for the price. The room was clean, and the bathroom was very comfortable. If we had more time, we definitely would’ve enjoyed the pool a bit longer. Also, when we had to carry our luggage upstairs, the staff kindly helped us with the heavy bags, which we really appreciated.

The only minor downside was seeing a few small insects, which is quite normal in Ubud and wasn’t really a problem. Also, it was a bit tricky to find the accommodation at night. There are many one-way roads in the area, so our taxi driver had a little trouble getting there.

Hotel muy bien situado, a 5 minutos andando del bullicio de Ubud, pero rodeado de paz. Hay muchísimos cafés y restaurantes justo al lado. Es un hotel típico balines: está construido dentro de un terreno familiar en el que vive la propia familia balinesa, lo cual le da un encanto especial y es una oportunidad para poder conocer la auténtica Bali. El hotel es muy nuevo y la familia que lo regenta es extremadamente amable y te ayudan en cualquier cosa que necesites. Tienen varios detalles con los huéspedes, como amenities, sleepers, te prestan paraguas si lo necesitas y tienen servicio de bar. Aunque no le da el sol, la piscina es perfecta para darse un chapuzón refrescante. El hotel ofrece servicio de habitaciones. Eso sí, se ha de dejar el cartel en la puerta para que entren a hacerla (si no lo colocas, no la hacen). Muy recomendable!

La colazione non mi è piaciuta nonostante il servizio in camera. Le prime lenzuola erano sporche ma sono state cambiate appena è stato fatto notare. Camera un po’ piccolina.

Kleinschalig knus hotel met klein zwembadje verborgen in het drukke centrum van Ubud. Heerlijk ontbijt en prima koffie om de hoek bij Ropana. Alles in het centrum op loopafstand. Absoluut een aanrader voor deze prijs!

We kregen geen warm water in de douche

Verborgen pareltje in de drukte van Ubud. Bijna alles daardoor op loopafstand. Gezellig klein hotelletje gerund door een familie die daar ook allemaal wonen.

Wat een geweldige plek om te verblijven! Mijn ervaring bij Arumasta Ubud was echt fantastisch. Vanaf het moment dat ik aankwam voelde ik me direct welkom. De eigenaren ontvangen je altijd met een grote glimlach en zoveel oprechte vriendelijkheid. Het hele team is ontzettend attent en behulpzaam, niets is teveel gevraagd. Mijn kamer was ruim, mooi ingericht en brandschoon. Alles wordt heel goed onderhouden en dat merk je aan de details. Het zwembad vond ik heerlijk een perfecte plek om af te koelen en te ontspannen na een dag in het levendige Ubud. Ook de locatie is ideaal: rustig genoeg om helemaal tot rust te komen, maar binnen een paar minuten lopen stond ik al midden in het centrum met alle winkels, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Wat mijn verblijf hier zo bijzonder maakte, is de warme sfeer. Ik heb me echt thuis gevoeld en merkte dat er veel liefde en aandacht in dit guesthouse zit. Ik zou Arumasta Ubud aan iedereen aanraden die naar Ubud komt. Voor mij was het de perfecte combinatie van gastvrijheid, comfort en een fantastische locatie. Ik kom hier zeker nog een keer terug!

Locatie is geweldig, op loopafstand van grote winkelstraat. Personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam! Fijne ruime kamer en er lagen snacks klaar als welkom, heel attent!

Het was in de avond soms een beetje gehorig, er zit een sportzaal vlakbij. Van de hoofdweg (verkeer oid) hoorde je echter niets!

Ein sehr hübsches Hotel im hinteren Bereich eines Familienanwesens. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und die Zimmer sind wirklich schön. Unsere Kinder haben auch den Pool sehr genossen. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Die Lage in Ubud ist auch perfekt!

Perfecte plek in Ubud, niet te dicht bij de drukke winkelstraten maar alles wel op loopafstand. Extra leuk dat je bij de familie door de tuin loopt naar het hotel. We wouden nog een nachtje bijboeken, maar helaas was alles volgeboekt. We konden gelukkig de tassen hier wel laten staan en de rest van de dag de omgeving nog verder bekijken voor die dag.

우붓 네모모양 번화가(보행가) 우측면에 인접해있음 피손, 코코마트 외 시내 대부분 시설이 도보 접근가능하여 위치도 좋은편. 숙소앞에 차세우기 가능. 방은 상당히 좁지만 캐리어 2개 펼칠수 있음. 화장실도 깔끔하고 구성이 좋음. 침구는 면침구라 습기에 약한듯 하고 머리카락이 많이 붙어나옴. 건물옆에 농구코트가 있는지 오후엔 시끄러움. 문이 알유리라 소음에 취약. 가내수공업 하는 민가를 거쳐서 숙소입구에 도달함. 도로에서 도보 10초컷. 직원들 친절함.

Central location, close to popular Main Street with shops, restaurants and cafes. Staff were friendly gave me lots of snacks when I check in.

Hard to find staff members manning the property early in the morning as I’m an early riser

Clean and tidy rooms, very good pricing for a few nights and very central to Ubud. Comfy double bed.

It was a bit of a walk with suitcases to the front desk and rooms over uneven ground. Hot water was sometimes hard to get from the taps.

The property was at the back of a local family’s house.

A good location central in Ubud, staff were friendly, free drinking water cooler at reception, small but nice pool area with some loungers and beanbags. The balcony was nice.

Hotel staff was friendly. Location was pretty good. 15-20min walk to center of town, royal palace etc. Many good restaurants within walking distance. It was off in a smaller alley, so pretty quiet, so street noise. Price was good. We hired a car with driver for couple days to go outside of Ubud, which were quite convenient too.

This is a very small hotel, with only 12 rooms or so. Very small swimming pool. We had a 2nd floor room, no elevator, so we need to carry luggage upstairs. The staff helped too. The room was very basic. There was a tiny step (couple inches) in the bathroom, which I tripped a couple times.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very delicious. It was also great to book activities through the hotel.

The WiFi in some areas of the complex were spotty, particularly near the back of the rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The accommodation was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s set within a family compound, which gave it such a warm and local feel. Every time we came or went, the family would greet us with a smile and a friendly “hello” or “have a nice day.” It was simple but made us feel really welcome. The reception staff were also great — always cheerful and happy to help. Would definitely recommend!

The one downside of our five-night stay was the noise during the nights. Unfortunately, we were woken up every single night between midnight and 3am by other guests who weren’t being quiet. The worst was on our final night when a group checked in at 3am — they were extremely loud, and I didn’t hear any staff intervene or ask them to keep the noise down. It came across as quite rude and did put a bit of a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay. For accommodation of this smaller size, I think there should be some rules around acceptable check-in hours — 3am felt far too late and disruptive.

Truly wonderful. Close enough to everything in Ubud but tucked away so you’re sleeping peacefully. Great and welcoming staff.

Gr8 location close to center and restaurants

The room was very clean and the location was perfect. I am scared from geckos so it was really nice that there were no geckos in the room, the staff even doubled checked for me. They were also kind enough to walk me to my room as there could be geckos in the corridors. I ended up getting sick and one of the staff got me camomile tea and fruits and even double checked in the morning if i needed another cup of tea. Highly recommended.
