cairo central house

had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect – the rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was convenient, and the staff were very welcoming and professional. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere made me feel relaxed and at home. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again. Thanks to ahmed he was very helpful for us

The only one hostel which located in the middle of Tahrir area but far from the noisy road that gives you proper rest plus very hospitable staff

First of all cleanliness ,calmness, dark curtains and very comfortable beds

Very friendly and helpful staff plus comfortable location

It was planned that i was going to stay one day, tho as everything was great, i decided to stay even longer. The hotel was great, and its close to everything, and the staff was very polite. Great choice I made.

Location, comfortable bed with clean sheets and pillows;very hospitable staff and relaxing calmness due to far away of highway

The location was perfect, close to major attractions and offering stunning views. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean and confortable. Overall, a great place to stay for both relaxation and sightseeing!

The hospitality which made me feel at home , the friendliness of the staff and owners , the location is super close to everything, it is actually the heart of downtown with all facilities around you. I have asked them that I wanted a specific Egyptian dish so they made it especially for me and offered that free of charge as a gesture of high level of hospitality.

Nothing

Staff and owners are super super friendly and helpful , I couldn’t ask for more. Yasmin, Hala, Ahmed , Amgad are very polite and they did their best to make our stay comfortable. I think it’s the best quality I was looking for , they speak English , French and Arabic while they use WeChat as well for Chinese guests . Well-recommended

Nothing

Location

Everything except location

Good value for money, location, bathroom inside the room, spacious area, clean & tidy

The staff was helpful and friendly.

The facilities on the app wasn't there in real life. There were no air conditioning which made it very very hard to stay in the room. The mattress wasn't comfortable at all. The bathroom door was kind of transparent which made it very inconvenient to use.

Great location

Children under the age of 14 were refused accommodation at this hotel. I'm a 29 year old man and I'm his guardian. For other hotels, having a 14 year old staying there was no problem. And the biggest problem is they didn't refund us.

It was close to Cairo center

My bathroom has leaking

The perfect place to stay at it in Cairo Downtown,Amazing place so safe and great staff Cairo central house is the best value for money hosting experience in Cairo

There’s just one little thing in Cairo Central house need to be solved The Wi-Fi network does not reach the room sufficiently, or it reaches but is very weak

Nothing honestly extremely dirty and the lights are not bright enough no internet at all in my room , the staff were nice and polite at the bright side.

Dirty kitchen and sheets are yellow and dirty bathroom also old furniture , nothing like the pictures and dirty building entrance

OK location Nice staff

Showing on top of toilet Very dirty need sheets and blankets (bring your own) Broken lock and door handle Vermin running around

Dirty and poor lighting... Book something better

Once upon a time this building was beautiful. It had a grand staircase and tall open rooms.

The past will never return.

Location.

The establishment was dirty. Rats in the corridors and certainly in the rooms. The receptionist was creepy, he made me very uncomfortable. In the room there were 3 beds, the box spring of two beds fell when I barely sat on them. In the bathroom the water didn't stop flowing by itself. Even though it's €6, I left the room because I wasn't feeling well. I honestly don't recommend this place, there are plenty of youth hostels at this price and very clean with friendly workers.

nothing

so hard to liveand sleep，noise so bbig，mmosqqittos every wwhhere

Location, staff, cleanliness, room area, quietness and you can find hot water in the tab

It was not an issue for me but as a piece of info for those who are going to reserve, the room is very basic with no any electrical appliances except a stand fan

location & price

getting itchy while sleeping. water is cut by accident and nothing was done for it. floor of the bathroom is always wet I don't know why.

The staff were very friendly, cheerful, and helpful, I felt safe at the place, and privacy is appreciated there. There were a towel, toiletries, and clean bed sheets and covers. Strong wifi. The room was very clean. Perfect location and easy to find.

Staff were nice and accommodating forgot the guy's name but he was cool. Close to central.

Location

The staff looked very weird in attitude, at some point they were also rude. I really wonder how this one got 9.1 rating in booking !! Also my friends were going to stay and one room was not available for them due to whatever reason (despite they booked it earlier), they were treated in a very bad manner. When the staff knew that they hold another citizenship other than the Egyptian one they became nicer and tried to solve the problem !!!! At the moment, I am coordinating an Erasmus exchange to Egypt and this was a preparatory visit, and of course would never choose such a place to host the exchange!!

Location is good

Cleaning

Just called a guy there called ayman after booking and he said the hotel was fully booked. besides they have zero attitude.

Amjad was extremely lovely and helpful. My sister and I had a great time at the hotel. The location is amazing, 30 seconds from the main busy road which is opened till late. Opera square is walking distance, if you are interested in Souq Market shopping.

The shower head wasn't working efficiently. Also, they have no AC in the rooms. However, they do have fans but in the month of August. It is extremely hot and AC is needed. Other than that it was a great stay.

A very friendly welcome and everywhere was clean. I felt safe & secure. Exceptional value

Great location right in the center of Cairo. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and made my stay smooth. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. I met some of the other guests the first night and we got to know each other!

No AC at least in the room I was in

We stayed at Cairo Central House 2 nights and really liked the place. Mr Ahmed is a super host and a kind hearted person, he tried to sort out all our problems. The staff is very polite, friendly and always ready to help. The room is very big, quiet and comfortable. Thanks a lot for unforgettable memories during our first trip in Cairo. We really felt like at home among our family. Ashufak sana gaya insha'Allah!!!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

perfect location , easy to find, friendly personal always ready to help and English speaking

The owner, Mr. Ahmed, truly makes this place. He is very kind, made sure I arrived safely, and prepared tea for myself and another guest when I got there late in the evening. He is truly a gem, and I can see why many would want to leave him a great review! Also, you can tell that back in its heyday, this apartment used to be absolutely regal. It is historic and gorgeous, just a bit run down. The location is also great, but just note that the side streets to get to the place are blocked off so taxis/Ubers can’t get there.

Cairo is hot, but this room was unbearable. A fan would have also helped with this and the mosquitos, as I was eaten throughout the night, but there wasn’t one. The bedding was white with multiple brown stains. I’m sure it was probably washed, but the stains are not very pleasant. The bathroom had wet toilet paper on the floor when I arrived, and the shower head was broken so it sprayed everywhere except you. I ended up just using the tap. Lastly, as much as I appreciate getting to know new people, socialising in the common areas after 12pm was very loud. People were singing, clapping, yelling and smoking cigarettes which carried into the room until 2am. I barely slept, but maybe if you are a heavy sleeper this won’t bother you. Also to note: when you enter the building, on the wall it says “Royal Hotel” which confused me and I walked past at first. this one wasn’t a big deal but just for future guests. I am sorry to Mr. Ahmed for leaving a review like this.

the owner and his assistant are very interesting and nice people

extremely friendly and nice host. clean room

many thanks to the owner of the hotel Ahmed for a wonderful quiet place in the heart of Cairo! The house is located slightly in a recess from the main streets, due to which the room is always quiet. convenient location near the central bank makes it impossible to get lost. the room has everything you need for life (I lived there for just over a week), and the hospitable and friendly host is always ready to help and provide everything you need. thanks for a wonderful stay and a warm welcome

Wonderful people, very helpful, friendly, very clean, very Good location!!
