The Chancery Hotel

The location was great, the rest was just okay. It was a clean room. The restaurant and cafe in the lobby were very good with friendly and helpful staff.

It wasn't worth the price we paid. It was a clean room with average features. There was no view and the room was very small which is expected in a European City but they typically make up for this with excellent service and very well appointed rooms. We received bare minimum service and average appointments in the room. So, it was fine just over priced. If I could stay here for less than $350/night I would due to the location, otherwise there are other places to stay that are just as conveniently located and just as nice, and maybe have friendlier staff. Oh, and the shower could have been hotter. So, it was fine.

Lovely rooms, very helpful staff, they go above and beyond. Helped me arrange a surprise for my mums birthday. Delicious breakfast. They also have a nice spa, however, it is a little small.

Tolles, modernes Hotel. Sehr ruhig. Sehr modernes Bad wo (noch) alles perfekt funktioniert. Man gut sehr gut zu Fuss ins Zentrum von Dublin laufen. 30% Rabattgutschein für Parking im nahegelegenen Parking, da die Parking Kosten in Dublin sehr teuer sind. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Restaurant mit hübscher Bar und sehr flexiblem Service.

Location. New hotel near to everything.

The room has a new electronic wall display that controls the lights and the 'Do Not Disturb' indicator. Even though I never intentionally touched the button, the system is so flawed that the DND sign must have been triggered accidentally, staying ON all day and leaving my room unmade. When I brought this up, the shift manager was quite unfriendly and, instead of apologizing, gave me a lecture.

I liked that it was on a quiet street and within walking distance of all the historic and fun spots to visit. I also very much appreciated that we could check in at 7:00am having arrived from the US at 5:30am.

The restaurant did not offer enough options for dinner. Also, having now been to other hotels here in Ireland, I thought that the staff could have been friendlier.

The Fawn restaurant wasn’t great for dinner and breakfast was only decent if you showed up at 7 AM when it started.

Quarto um pouco apertado, camas com colchões super altos, o que dava impressão do quarto ser menor ainda.

Location was about 10 mins walk to temple bar. It was close enough but far enough away from all the noise. It was lovely and quiet. Hotel is modern with good sized rooms and everything you could need. No complaints at all about the hotel, would highly recommend it. Breakfast was good (but they don't offer omelettes, etc.) and plenty of choice. They provide free water as well which is a bonus.

Like with all hotels in Dublin they are pricey

Fabulous location with a great cafe and barista on the entry level.

The lighting and bathroom door controls are annoying! If you walk too close to the bathroom door sensor, it closes the door! We arrived early from a cruise on a Sunday morning and although it says check-in is at 3 PM, our room was not ready until nearly 5 PM. We were given a coupon for a free cocktail in their lounge.

An incredible hotel, which exceeded all our expectations. The staff was very kind, the rooms were perfect and the location was the best. Just 5-10 minutes away from everywhere, but not in a loud area and in a very nice neighborhood.

The staff was friendly, room comfortable and location good. The food and breakfast was also great.

The breakfast could use a little work. More staff to clear away, smaller bowls for the porridge. But overall a great place to stay!

The hotel is in a great, safe location, perfect for exploring Dublin on foot. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, cafés, and bars just around the corner, making it an ideal base for a city trip. Unfortunately, I found the room to be significantly overpriced for what I was allocated. It was extremely small, with barely any space to move around the bed. There was also a constant noise, seemingly from a ventilation system in the stairwell. I reported it to the staff, but nothing was done during my two-night stay. In addition, the shower needed repair, as it was difficult to adjust the water temperature properly. On the positive side, the bathroom was beautifully designed, the room amenities were of good quality, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very good, offering a nice variety of fresh options. Overall, I enjoyed the location and the hotel's design, but given the room size and the unresolved maintenance issues, I don't feel the room offered good value for the price.

My stay at the Chancery Hotel was excellent--the front desk staff and the restaurant staff were especially helpful. The room was very clean and well equipped with useful technology such as self closing curtains. The breakfast was excellent and the cappuccino to go from Lijo was a great touch! The location of the hotel was very good for walking to the major shopping and sightseeing areas in downtown Dublin.

The breakfast was amazing. We looked forward to coming down each morning before starting our day. The desk staff helped me with a tour that was cancelled, to rebook and took the time to help me rebook.

The electronic pocket door to the bathroom was unnerving. We would be in the bathroom and it would lock on its own then open any time you passed by it.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Our only complaint is the rooms were a bit hot and it didn't seem the AC worked very well. It was a heat wave but it made it hard to sleep. Having a fan in the room would have been helfpul.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Im Zentrum und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Unser erstes Zimmer war sehr klein für zwei Person, die Abluft ging unter unserem Fenster raus, welches auf das danebenliegende Restaurant zeigte, wo an zwei Abenden hintereinander erst ein Konzert und dann eine laute Kostümparty stattfand, außerdem konnten die Leute einem ins Zimmer gucken. Am zweiten Abend haben wir uns beschwert und ein anderes Zimmer auf dem gleichen Flur nach vorne raus bekommen, welches auch angemessener für zwei Personen war.

Das Hotel liegt in bester Lage zum belebten Viertel der Stadt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Vom hervorragende Frühstück mit irischen und kontinentalen Köstlichkeiten waren wir sehr begeistert. Kann ich jedem sehr empfehlen

Der Preis ist leider komplett unbegründet. Ich habe über 500€ für eine Nacht bezahlt, ein Deluxe Zimmer. Woher der Preis kam, keine Ahnung. Jedenfalls war er keineswegs begründet.. Würde an sich immer wieder buchen, jedoch für den Preis leider fraglich.
