Great on the whole! Clean, tidy, comfy

If we had to say anything we would say that the girls at the bar were very rude, but the stay itself was good

Spacious warm and modern bedroom. Value for money, ideally located in the town.

Room allocated was very dusty carpet needed hovered,cups dirty. Alternative room offered but also dusty. Eventually cleaned communication an issue when attempting to rectify problems.Room was joined to another room, fine if you know the people there.

Very clean, staff were excellent, facilities are fantastic i didnt need to leave the premises from when I arrived until I checked out, great entertainment in the bar and a great friendly crowd. Breakfast was fantastic I was even let order off menu.its also in the heart of the town so no transport needed.I would highly recommend

This is very much a "comfort stay" accommodation where there is a pub and dining room downstairs, plus a back room for hanging out / smoking. We met several locals of all ages here during our stay, and it was quite busy the night there was live music in the pub. No elevator, so you will need to haul your luggage up the stairs yourself. Room was standard, bathroom very modern and clean. The staff were exceptional and friendly, and accommodated all of the "extras" we asked for in our room (more coffee packets, cream pitcher, extra towels, etc.). We were made to feel right at home, and enjoyed meeting and hanging out with some standout locals who loved to chat about the region, history, anything Irish really, and international politics. We had a warm, welcoming and lively stay here.

Automatic aiir freshener in bathroom, squirted too much , too often. Wait staff in restaurant could have been a little friendlier, staff in pub very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was basic but nice. Good value for the price.

The bar was very quiet there were very few customers. Otherwise we really liked it.

I'm afraid ...nothing.

I never stayed in the Coachman's Inn during the night I paid for. Here is the reason why. I arrived at the Inn at 9.45am to drop off my bag, with the intention of returning to check in during mid-afternoon. It was disconcerting to find that the place was locked with no sign of life. A passer-by informed me this was hardly unusual. I returned near 2pm and talked to a young man who doubled between serving drinks and operating the makeshift check-in desk. When I asked him how quiet the Coachman's Inn was, he candidly stated - without any prompting - that there would be plenty of noise until very late, due to a disco being held , and that no room could escape it. Then he said that if I wished to search for another hotel, he would quite understand. 'I wouldn't be charged' and the room would be held open until 6pm before being made available for another customer. I couldn't find another room in Roscommon despite trying and I suspect my room was snapped up on what was a busy Bank holiday weekend in Ireland. I had to drive some considerable distance to Kinnegad. in Co Westmeath before finding anything. I paid, through Booking, for a room I didn't sleep in, having been effectively warned off by the person checking me in, and I strongly suspect the Coachman Inn was able to sell my room not once but twice. I wrote directly to the hotel asking whether they might reimburse me in light of these circumstances, but a week has elapsed and I have heard nothing - not even the offer of a partial reimbursement or another night's stay in lieu of the one I failed to have. To say I am unimpressed by this level of service, is a distinct understatement!

Staff did their best and Mikey gave a refund for the non-existant breakfast

This was the noisiest Hotel I ever stayed in. Noise came from the boiler and the gig in the bar. The incessant noise vibrated the room until 1.30.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room and the whole place was clean. Breakfast was beautiful. The location was good.

There was nothing to dislike.

Great location at the end of town. Within walking distance to shops/restaurants. Car park next door with Free Parking which was great. Room was very comfy and clean. Met the owner upon arrival and he was very welcoming.

A little noisy, but nothing too bad. The breakfast could have been better, the coloured lights inside the dining room were a bit jarring in the morning.

We were unaware of a disco until the loud music started from around 8:30 and continued well after midnight,we had to keep TV loud to drown out the heavy bass from below,in hindsight possibly why room was so cheap on a Saturday nite,we weren't advised of event when checking in,maybe we could of had a different room

It was in a great location for us, and the staff on during our stay were extremely helpful and very polite. The food for both of us was amazing too. 10/10 would highly recommend anyone visiting to choose here especially as it’s pretty center for traveling by car to other locations too.

I’ve got nothing to add as our stay was all positive.

A lovely warm welcome ,enjoyed the surroundings even though the weather was awful on the day we arrived. The staff made up for the weather. In the morning weather had improved and we thoroughly enjoyed walking in the extensive gardens,lovely quiet areas to relax and enjoy the plants and shrubs and flowers

The lodge is lovely ,and I don’t think there was anything we did not like.

Requested a nice quiet room and got it which was appreciated. Staff were A1 - very friendly and helpful. Clean comfortable room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast with great coffee.

Room was tiny. Furniture old and worn none of it matching. No milk for tea/coffee, stained cups, and we couldn't get in the main door as the key didn't work we were outside for almost half van hour, waiting in someone to come out. One off duty girl driving by stopped and rang the Manager who was inside and eventually he came out to let us in
