Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Modern clean hotel, friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. Good location not near temple bar area so quiet and the local bars are great with live music and plenty of seats also not a rip off like temple bar
The rooms even though they were nicely decorated were a little small for the price I expected a bit more space . Also I think breakfast should be included for the near £250 per night we paid . Other than that it's a nice hotel and although there was no outside seating/smoking area yet a park directly in front is currently under construction so that will really make this a good hotel

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Het is een modern en trendy ingericht hotel, met speelse inrichting, mooie bar en kleurige kamers met heerlijke bedden. De rustige ligging is leuk en tegelijkertijd een enorm nadeel.
De locatie, blijkt toch echt wel verder van het centrum, de quays en de Liffey dan het lijkt. De kamers haden wat ruimer gemogen en er kan geen raam open voor frisse lucht.

C’est pas la faute de l’hôtel mais les travaux devant l’hôtel nous obligeait à faire des détours pour l’accès à la route principale et/ou à la promenade le long du canal… mais c’est provisoire!

The food and service was sub-par. Ordered fish & chips. The fish was good, the "chips" were frozen french fries. Had to go to bar to order glass of wine. No one asked if I wanted dessert. Had to go ask for my check

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Das Zimmer war sehr schön. Die Lage in Portobello fand ich gut - alles war schnell zu erreichen und den Grand Canal empfand ich als nette Umgebung. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.
Ich fand die Abendunterhaltung am Wochenende nicht gut - es hat ein DJ aufgelegt. Und das in einer Stadt, die für ihre besondere Livemusik bekannt ist. Meiner Meinung nach wäre es viel ansprechender für die Gäste, wenn Livemusik aus Irland gespielt würde.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Location is OK 25 mins walk from city center really easy with a bus just 5 mins. Everything available around the hotel that you need if you do not want to go to the center.
The building works out the front for the new park area but this did not disturb due to noise or anything just a shame we could not directly access the water at the time of our visit. This will be great when finished

Both of the things I didn't like are outside of the hotel's control and I went in fully knowing the conditions. The location of the hotel: It was my first time visiting Ireland so I was not aware of the hotel's location in relation to the rest of Dublin. I purposely picked the location to stay away from the Temple Bar area. Not a deal breaker and again I chose this location. No parking: Not a special issue with the hotel since parking is limited in Dublin. NYX provided ample warning about their parking issues. Again, not a deal breaker. I would choose NYX again

Keine vollständige Verdunkelung des Zimmers möglich. Nachts strahlte die Haus- und Straßenbeleuchtung in das Zimmer. Ich habe sehr unruhig geschlafen.

Sink didnt drain, bathroom floor and shower tray were grubby and needed a proper steam clean. They have a slightly rough surface and the dirt is collecting in the uneven surface. TV seems to be very difficult to turn off, it kept turning itself back on in the middle of the night.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026L'albergo e' bello , recente e ben arredato con una All spaziosa accattivante e ricca di colori, dista 10 minuti a piedi da Grafton Street o in alternativa si possono prendere gli autobus con facilita, altrimenti UBER con 12€ sei in zona Temple Bar. Anche le camere sono molto carine e arredate con design anche se sono piuttosto piccole ma per qualche giorno vanno benissimo. La colazione non è ricchissima ma c'è tutto.(il Bacon non è quello croccante a cui sono abituato negli alberghi) Non aggiungo foto perché quelle presenti su Booking sono fedeli alla realtà, se vi piace quel genere lo consiglio.

Parken ist leider mehr als mangelhaft. Die empfohlene Parkgarage (zumindest gibt es einen Rabatt) ist 10 Min mit dem Auto entfernt. Das sollte man zumindest im Auge behalten.
