There was nothing major to complain about, but a few small improvements No one playing games. Cards and other games.

Reviewed May 12, 2026I had a wonderful stay at Dharma Backpackers. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making the stay relaxing. A special mention to the breakfast — it was fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day.
Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike. If I had to mention something, it would be that I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the place and the great atmosphere even more.

Et quand j'y suis resté plusieurs nuits j'y suis retourné à chaque fois pendant tout mes divers passages à Pokhara. Le petit dejeuner est compris, ils fournissent des serviettes et du papier toilette et de l'eau. Les sanitaires sont nettoyés régulièrement par le personnel. Le bar restaurant sur le toit est sympa et pas cher. Vraiment pour le prix je trouve cet établissement plus que super !
Il y a des gens qui passent leur temps à fumer des cigarettes et des joints dans la cours de l'hôtel et ca ne fait pas très professionnel.

Breakfast has nothing in it. Guys, if you read this add any of bananas, bread, jam, hard eggs. Costs nothing, nearly no prep and your breakfast will go from mediocre to amazing. And at the very least coffee!

The attitude of staff was unprofessional and there are not giving answers to our question and room was damaged and hot water was also not available at the time.

With due respect, the washrooms were not clean and the pillow and blanket provided had an unpleasant smell. The shared bunk beds were uncomfortable, when sitting, my head touched the upper wall, making it difficult to sit properly. There was also no hand soap available in the washroom, so guests need to bring their own. I have stayed in many hostels in other countries, as well as in other cities in Nepal, and at similar rates they offer much better facilities. There are lots of improvement required.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025The place is one of the places you can stay . It's just 50 M away from the beautiful phewa lake and the Annapurna mountain view from the roof top is amazing. The manager was a GREAT guy 👍 who opened the gate for me even when I reached there at 3AM in the morning before my check in time . All the taxis, bicycles , massage , services are available nearby. The room is clean with a toilet . OVERALL ONE OF THE BEST STAY I HAD

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Ich war schon mehrfach im Dharmas Backpackers und wurde jedes Mal herzlich aufgenommen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet und die Lage könnte kaum besser sein. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die schöne Dachterrasse: Bei klarer Sicht hat man von dort einen fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. Ein rundum empfehlenswertes Hostel, ich komme immer wieder gern zurück!

The staff was really bad. There was no hot water at the facility even when it was specifically mentioned. I informed about the issue but for 2 days no hot water. I asked to get my room cleaned but no action was taken. The staff does nothing but just sits and smokes.
