One of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in! The beds are comfy and the common areas a very spacious. The staff is so kind and always is wanting to have friendly conversations and to go as far as to make me tea. Which is so yummy :)

Because of the ijen tours people are often waking late so it might be difficult to get consistent sleep.

Amazing staff, super nice place. It’s big and open, super comfortable and the rooms were an amazing temperature.

I must admit the location wasn’t the best if you didn’t scooter. It is a bit out of the way if you walk.

so cheap for what you get. everything is super clean and beautiful, the hostel has a lot of facilities (lockers, kitchen, water tank, towl & shower products...). the beds are comfy and private (you litteraly have a little room). the staff is so kind, similing all the time and generous (offers free tea/coffe...), they inform you about all transports/attraction/ (cheap hike), they keep in touch on whatsapp. they have a good laundry service aswell

Best quality hostel I’ve ever stayed in

The staff, especially Becky, Viola, Reny, and Venus, were extremely helpful and attentive throughout my stay. Their support really made a difference. The place is clean, and relaxing, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. I highly recommend this hostel if you’re passing through Banyuwangi

Venus is the best!! Super helpful and just great fun too. The hostel is beautiful, both Snooze Banyuwangi and Malang have nicest hostel bed I’ve ever stayed on!! The tours they arrange are great, I stayed at Snooze malang and they used the same company for Bromo and Tumpak Sewu. The company is awesome, they always get you there first and the guides are lovely.

Wonderfully attentive staff and clean, modern rooms. A perfect place to stay if visiting banyuwangi. We were doing the Ijen climb, which the staff here helped organise for us. Huge thanks to Ika, Venus and Monica

The staff was very nice, very clean and decorated place. Welcoming kitchen for brunch with the group.

The AC works well but the cold air doesn't go to the individual pods. The stair is a bit painful to do without shoes or flipflops. Very narrow streets to reach the hostel.

The quality was superb. Everything about this place is just top notch! Highly recommend this place to those looking for accommodation before their trip to Ijen or just exploring the city.

整体来说都超出了预期，环境比较好，可以做饭。价格也比较优惠。有不懂的问题都可以问工作人员非常热心的帮忙解答问题。来伊真火山住宿的必佳选择。自己骑车去伊真的话需要注意那边路上有很多坑，下坡特别陡需要全程注意安全！是一次不错的体验。

L'emplacement est calme et offre la possibilité de faire plein de choses à pied. On est en ville, donc plein de warung, de boutiques, de quartiers, à découvrir. Perso j'ai adoré cette ville. On peut réserver l'excursion sur le Mont Ijen depuis la Guesthouse 345k (tt compris : visite médicale, aller retour au départ de rando, guide + petit dej) ou choisir un autre prestataire qui vient vous chercher le soir. Le Ijen est à faire absolument, c'est merveilleux et les guides sont absolument adorables. Avec le prestataire de Revive, Explore our Indonesia, vous aurez sûrement Qi-Qi, ultra gentil. TOUT le personnel est adorable ! Les filles Becky, Ika, Ve, ... Les gardiens de nuit... Tout le monde est absolument adorable. Toujours souriant, prêt à aider, à conseiller ou même juste papoter ! Merci 🌷🙏🌸 C'est très propre, merci à la jolie jeune fille qui tient les chambres. C'est confortable. Cuisine à disposition pour se faire à manger, eau chaude, et froide à volonté, glaçons, thé et café. Frigo. On est comme à la maison. N'hésitez pas. Une superbe Guesthouse. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are cooled to perfection with very comfy beds. Everything is very clean. Great food spots in around 10 min walking distance. Definitely recommended!

This is hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed in! The shared spaces, the bathrooms and the room are so clean and comfortable, it really makes you feel at home. The staff is incredible too, attentive to every detail, super nice and friendly and so helpful! Would recommend to everyone!!

Everything! The staff was lovely and always so helpful:) Always clean! Rooms and bunks super spacious! The kitchen (very well equipped with everything you need) and common area really made it feel like home :) Very easy to arrange tours to Ijen and transfers to other cities! Highly recommend!

Fijne kamer met bed en plek voor al je spullen, zeker fijn als je backpackt. De kamer had een douche en wc, maar daarnaast was er ook een die iedereen kon gebruiken.

One of the nicest Hostels i‘ve stayed at so far. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. All the ladies running this place are phenomenal and create an incredible atmosphere. The rooms are very well designed with a lot of personal space. Everything is super well maintained and clean. The smell throughout the house is amazing due to the incense they use. Great relaxing place.

I wish more people would stay longer than just for Ijen, so many nice things to do around Banyuwangi.

Great place for 1-2 nights, especially if you are doing Ijen and need a rest before/after. Free water, coffe, tea and some other drinks to buy.

Bathrooms are a bit odd and smelly, missing a real private toilet on property 😉. No food (I guess offering some noodlesoupcups etc might be worth it) but food ordering via grab worked as well.

The beds are not just pods but have an enclosed area for you to get ready. This was the most spacious and well thought through design for a hostel I’ve ever seen. There is a comfortable communal area. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The bathrooms lack a little ventilation so they can sometimes smell a bit like old water

It was gorgeous, clean and in a super nice area. The staff is the kindest, they also have free coffee and tea and they let me take a shower and hang out before checking in. One of the highlights of my trip, I met some amazing people.❤️ I would stay again anytime!

The staff is amazing, the dorms are maybe the best have seen so far, the place is peaceful and you have enough space to rest.

There is no restaurant and mart near the hostel, you have to walk something like 5 minutes to find one.

In my case I slept in a room with four beds, for this reason It was so calm. It has a common area inside and outside. The workers are super kind.

Really nice place to sleep at when you do the ijen. The staff is really friendly and the beds are really comfy. For a hostel, you have really a lot of space in your bed.

Loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. Each bed has space next to it and an assigned locker. The staff are so friendly, they recommended lots of places to eat and booked us onto a Mount Ijen tour. There is a nice kitchen space with tea and coffee. We loved this stay and would defo stay again.

This hostel is nothing but lovely!! The facilities are super clean, new and beautiful. The staff is really caring and welcoming. The bed is comfortable, you have a curtain for privacy and enough room for your luggage. It is one of the best hostels I have been so far!!

One of the most beautiful hostels I've stayed in. The dorms are set up so each bed has its own cubicle-sort-of area. The staff are so lovely and helpful. They were in contact well before I arrived to let me know Ijen was closed due to seismic activity and helped arrange transport to the hostel. Once I arrived they gave a list of recommended restaurants nearby and alternative activities to Ijen during my stay

Excellent. Easily the nicest hostel I've stayed at so far in Indonesia and extremely well priced for what you get. Clean, tidy and quiet. A modern setup, styled well. A premium feel by Indonesian and global standards. The rooms and sleeping spaces were spacious and well equipped with multiple power outlets, bedside lights, lockers, powerful airconditioning and comfortable, quality bedding. The facilities were great with a big open plan kitchen for cooking and cleaning. Free tea and coffee, with a stainless steel hot/cold water filtration unit. The staff were extra helpful and friendly. Keeping the place clean and answering any questions I had to the best of their knowledge. Maria was exceptionally friendly and took me to the local carnival after her shift. So awesome! ✌️ I highly recommend staying here if you get a chance. I extended my stay by a few days to make the most of it.

The overall property was amazing and they are very clean and organized. The staff ensures the guests are at their comfort and they provide assistance at every instance we request anything for. Overall one of the best hostels I have stayed at and I would recommend this place as a goto place without any hesitation.

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in all my travels. Room is so spacious. The staff are super friendly and patient. They help you with anything you need, from travel arrangements to unlock your suitcase. ^^

Everything, from the friendly staff, absolute cleanliness and comfort, and all the services and information (about Ijen, scooter rental, great restaurants, ferries to Bali, etc.) they provide is perfect. This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at in a long, long time and I can't recommend it enough.

Minimum 3kg weight for laundry, so if you don't have 3kg of clothes you'll end up paying the difference if you wanna wash them there. Why :(

The ReVive by Snooze hostel is very clean and well maintained. It has a clean kitchen that you can use at any time. I've never been to a hostel with such helpful staff. They helped us book the tour to Ijen, booked us a bus to Malang and supported us at any time with any questions. All the employees were always in a good mood and asked about our well-being.

the hostel was great in every respect

My third time staying at a Snooze property and it was once again amazing! The staff are wonderful, the place is clean and brand new. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. They can help organise a tour if you want to see Ijen!

This brand new hostel is beautifully renovated and it is more than a pleasure to stay here. The place is managed by a collective of warm people who are travellers themselves, therefore they know travellers needs very well and that is felt in the whole house. The rooms are spacious and tidy, one is provided even with a real cuboard (!) for your stuff that can be locked, and the beds are very comfortable, showers brand new and warm. The living area is very well decorated with an eye for detail and lots of plants. And the staff is so welcoming, helpful and relaxed, it felt like friends. Also, great laundry service nearby, laundry is picked up from the hostel and brought back very clean and neatly folded (made me so happy after two weeks of hand wash ^^) staff is also happy to help out with scooter rental or good places to eat in town. If I could give 7 stars I would. Hope to be able to visit again some time. Wish you all the best on your projects dear snooze team.
