Ibex Resorts, Coonoor Leewood

They didn't even honour the booking after receiving the payment and didn't have the decency to find alternative accomodation leaving my family in distress at the last minute

Location is superb .Staff is very cooperative

The staffs were nice and welcoming, the ambience was good . Food was good. Perfect place for relaxation minus the niggles of the room

Room was not up to the expectation, faculty main room door and bathroom door, broken tap. Not many signages on route so difficult to locate them.

Location was a bit out of the way, but beautiful nonetheless. Suggest coming by car or scooter to the premises. The hotel is very cozy, and at night they lit the firepit which made it super special. Dinner food was very tasty.

Everything was up to good standards.

Physically the property was nice

There was zero management, but strangely plenty of staff? No one seemed to know what they were doing and when we asked for things like more blankets because we had been very cold our first night, nothing was done and our room was not even cleaned!

The room was quite expensive for the size and facilities. The food at the hotel is not very good.

The property was beautiful, very cozy and at a convenient location . The staff were very good and the food was delicious. We loved the stay.

I was a bit concerned about making a booking as it had such few reviews. Very glad I did. The house is situated in a gorgeous place, with beautiful very well looked after gardens surrounded by tea plantations and hills. What a variety of birds! The house itself is an old colonial house and has been beautifully maintained. It has original old furniture also in pristine condition. We had our meals in the large dining room. The food was great and can be chosen from a menu. The staff are very keen to please and very polite.

The staff was so attentive especially Reshma at the front desk who was so helpful in logistics.

Kitchen was a little slow but very good. So we learned to build in some extra time and it worked out just fine.

The entire package.. especially the hospitality

The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving!
