The bathroom layout could have been a bit better. The toilet is too close to the shower cubicle for comfort.

Host was fantastic.. location close to altown , peaceful place .... food etc. Was very homely.

Property was beautiful, it was clean and asthetic. View was mesmerising and pleasant. Recommended, but i think its a bit overpriced.

Rude manager, prashant. On mere adjustment of early breakfast he argued for almost an hour and spoiled the peaceful night for us. Host Annie, was good but would say that she is also a bit arrogant when it comes to understanding the customers point.

The behaviour of the owner was pretty good.

Great location with amazing views. Big room with balcony. Fantastic host and staff, they are very friendly and will do anything to make the most of your stay. Homemade breakfast and food is really good. Thanks Annie!

I stayed at this beautiful property located in the heart of a breathtaking scenic view, and the name of the property truly does justice to its beauty. The surroundings were peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Mrs. Ani, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming she treated us more like family than guests, which made the stay even more special. The hospitality throughout our visit was genuinely heartfelt. The food was another highlight of the experience. The meals were fresh, homely, and full of flavor, making us look forward to every meal. Everything tasted well prepared with a comforting homemade touch, and the overall dining experience added so much warmth to the stay. I had read a few reviews mentioning low water pressure, but when I requested assistance, they immediately switched on the pressure pump and resolved the issue without any hesitation. Overall, it was a lovely, comfortable, and memorable stay with amazing hospitality, delicious food, and stunning views.

We had a wonderful stay at sunset villa, coonoor. True to its name, the sunset view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, with a stunning panoramic view of the town. The rooms were spotless, the food felt homely and the entire place had such a positive vibe. What truly stood out was the warmth and care from the owner and staff - especially Ani chechi and Prasanth - who went beyond, even taking care of us when we fell sick. It truly felt like home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Coonoor.

Excellent property

What a find! An outstanding Homestay with hosts that couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely room which had a balcony and 180 degree views across Coonoor and the surrounding mountains - and the sunset of course. Food was great and we certainly couldn’t have gone hungry. All in all, a great welcome and we’d have loved to have stayed longer.

What makes a place are the people there. From the owners to the staff (Deepu and Poornima), all were very caring and hospitable. It was really like being at home - helped by the fact that we were for the most part the only guests there. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed and so too did the owners. The location was great - close to the town, yet far enough way. The food was superb and any help needed, for example, getting a driver, was met. Wished we could have stayed much longer.

The place is 10 min drive from Conoor town. Very calm and quiet location surrounded by scenery. No city disturbances. 1. Room was clean, spacious with one king bed and kids bed, TV, wardrobe, kettle toiletries, and a fan. 2. Balcony is there but it is closed with mosquito net 3. Hospitality by the owner and care taker staff was excellent. 4. The villa has 4 rooms. One on the first floor and 3 on the 2nd floor. 5.

If the balcony was open, the night view could have been fat better

Really enjoyed our stay at Sunset villa. The property owner Mrs.Annie and her son Prashanth manage the property very well. The food was delicious and the place was very clean and tidy. Totally recommend this place.

This was one of the wonderful stay I ever had..starting from welcome to food to hospitality..such head turners. Mr Prashant Annie aunty and cook aunty they were absolutely amazing. Prashant went all the way to organise birthday surprise for my hubby. I would highly recommend this stay whenever in coonor.. Will visit soon.thanks alot

Property and Location both are exceptional. Mr. Preshanth (M-9798097000) and his mother are looking after the property. Both are very cordial and helpful on each and every aspect. Food served by them was also very delicious. We enjoyed a lot during our stay of two nights.

Best property in coonoor. The owners were really helpful and kind. Food was awesome and super delicious. We were staying with our 14 month old and they were so kind and provided us baby food on request. Location was 10/10. food was 10/10 and service was 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

Chairs were uncomfortable

Everything, except that the location is slightly far from the main town, which is actually fine cause it makes it more peaceful. The owner was very courteous and quickly arranged for an auto for pick and drop to and fro. Special mention about the dinner that we ordered. It was absolutely homely and perfect.

I would give 10 stars if I could, the most wonderful stay in such a beautiful guesthouse. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, the room is spacious and spotless, the view is incredible. The food is also delicious. I would recommend to anyone.

My only criticism is the shower water pressure was a little weak but not a big deal.

A quiet peaceful location in upper Coonoor iwith beautiful views across town to the hills in the distance especially at sunset. Anni and her son Preshanth have created the perfect homestay - beautiful, stylish spacious bedrooms with balcony and bathroom. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Anni and Poornima cooked the most wonderful food and really spoilt us with something different for breakfast every day. Evening meals which can be ordered were freshly cooked and delicious. Preshanth was the perfect host, able to give local recommendations for places to visit or where to eat and arranged a driver for us when we left. Thank you again to Anni and Preshanth for a wonderful stay at Sunset Villa.

Preshanth and his mother Annie were wonderful hosts. The property was in a quiet location with a wonderful view. The room was immaculate and had a balcony that overlooked Connor town down below and the view of setting sun. It is a 5 minute auto ride to the town centre and Preshanth organised a reliable auto for us. He also gave us very good restaurant recommendations. We will be recommending Sunset Villa to all friends who visit Connor and will be coming back ourselves.

Excellent location, quiet&in the middle of the nature, very professional&friendly stuff, good food, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean room.

Netting on the porch, which keeps birds and monkeys away, somehow spoils the view on tea plantations, but will be removed. But the view from the rooftop is magnificent!

The view from the room was very beautiful and calming. Very beautifully made and maintained. There is no questions regarding the cleanliness beacuse it was very clean. Food can be provided and it’s very homely. Mrs. Ani and Mr. Preshanth looked after everything that’s needed. Very kind. This place is situated in the centre itself, not really far from the town. The interior’s of the villa gives positivity and warmth. You would just feel home away from home. The road to the villa is good to go. A must book villa found in Coonoor I would say. Anyone looking for a place to chill or relax to escape from the reality and go here. It the right place and you would come back with no regrets. The sunset during the evening from the balcony justifies the name of the place itself.

we are overwhelmed by the ambience, food and hospitality. Mrs.Annie , our family members remember this name for a long time. every corner of the place is kept blending nature with art. This has to be your first and the best pick, if you hit coonoor.

I visited this property for my wife's birthday.. this is no doubt one of the best properties in coonoor 1. Views: This property has an unparalleled sunset view as the name suggests. The entire property as a bird's eye view of the town and the surrounding hills. 2. Location: This property is located in a quiet neighborhood which is hardly 5 mins from the city center. Making it an ideal location if you want a peaceful neighbourhood yet have access to the main town. 3. Rooms and property: The entire property is curated and maintained with love and care. 4. Hospitality: Preshanth is one the nicest guys and there wasn't even one request of ours which he said not to. 5. Food: Lastly, the food ..and oh my god every meal which we had here was made with love by aunty. It was simply lip smacking. Looking forward to my next visit here.

I loved the hospitality and facility of Sunset villa. The best part is the home-cooked food that Annie aunty prepares. She is a gem of a person. Prashant and aunty made my stay memorable. Thanks to both of them. The cherry on the cake was I requested for a special candle light dinner with specific menu items and they went above and beyond to meet my expectations.
