Choska Residence

I like the location, the decoration and the rooms are really good for the price I paid. I like this place and I always stay here when I have to go to Jakarta for any reason, but probably won’t pay for the breakfast anymore!

The breakfast was literally the worst I ever had from a guest house. They did not offer protein, just noodles with potatoes and yellow rice, it would be so much better if they would have some chicken! The taste also wasn’t great at all! And for the ‘western’ choice they only offered bread with strawberry jam! It would be much better if they would have a toaster and offer the jam and butter separately and maybe also offer to make some eggs! Some fruit would not hurt either!

Location off the main road

The part I did like was the convenience of the location. The interior of the building was also nice despite being very basic/barebones.

On my arrival, the staff member greeting me struggled with communication, which I can understand. But then I got to my room and was greeted with a bad smell and very yellowed white bedsheets. The shower is also difficult to use as you have to hold the showerhead and use it like a hose. Not a great experience overall. I did complain about the smell and stained sheets and to their credit they were changed the next day.

Large room, great staff service

Slow internet inside the room, bed was not that comfiratble but ok.

Good location and value for money in Jakarta. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room wasn't the cleanest (stained and dirty bedding). Breakfast wasn't for us but that was just preference. The walls are SO THIN. You can truly hear everything everyone is doing around you.

The residence is located close to the Plaza Mall or Grand Indonesia Mall, the staff are super helpful and friendly. They clean service the room daily. The place is beautiful.

Even tho the residence is nearby mall but you have to walk through the neighbourhood of the Jakartans, I highly recommend for guests to take the car ride to the mall (safety reasons), but if you are a traveller who likes to walk, I guess there's no harm to do so. But just be careful as there are many of them on bikes passing by.

Rien

good

The employees were very friendly

The bathroom smelled damp.

nothing

felt like a jail cell, very small, smelly , dirty & stained sheets

The location is as good as you can get in jakarta its easy to get to places from the hotel. When your in the hotel its gated in and feels like a bit of an oasis from the city

The breakfast was okay, hope for more selection in the future. As for the room, facilities, the ambiance, cleanliness, staff etc it was very good! It was my second time there, yeah really worth my money. Not to forget how near this place from the main attraction like Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia (walkable) , Thamrin City and much more! There's also Indomaret, Alfa Mart and Family Mart nearby! Everything is within reach for me, which a big plus point! There's also a laundry right infront of this place, so no worries for those who are backpacking and wanted to do some quick laundry time! I really enjoyed my time there, and will come again for sure!!

As stated, I hope there is more selection of food for breakfast.

Clean

The room quite small

Value for money Good service Friendly staff Clean room

Comfy bed

Exceptionally badly sound proofed. Upstairs plumbing extending into my room. Loud reception music constantly blasting.

clean

no sink to brush teeth/wash face

cleanliness is good

bathroom has no sink to wash face and brush teeth bed spring sunken in the middle. Discomfort sleep.

Nichts

it more than i expected.the place is nice and modern .the waiting area was cold and clean and feel like home…i would like to stay again next time.the staff also helpful and friendly.the staff daily clean my room for 4 day im stay..really recommended.it is worth the money

Rooftop smoking zone.

So far all good i like all.

Friendly staffs

Towel quality Room M5 hearing water from talang Breakfast was too standard

I liked the layout of the studio and the lobby and communal areas were well kept in appearance.

The cleanliness of the room was not well maintained. The room had a smell of mold and so I bought a couple of airfresheners to make it passable. There was mold inside the kettle and on the sofa and walls. The top of the cupboard (seen from the loft bed) was covered in dust. Room service did not seem to have attention to detail.

Room clean Mushola available

Breakfast was very standard No sign kiblat at room 101 Too crowded in front of the gate cause cars parkìng Towel quality

The room was good and the location was also good. The hotel was also good and the staff was also good. I like it very much.

I liked everything.

I like the comfort and the view of the place

The location was a little bit smacked in a very small busy roads of residential area

Property is really clean, worker is very helpful. I have a really pleasant stay. Price for the property is well.

Location is not walkable friendly. But you can still do if you are brave enough to walk next to busy alley.

Posizione centrale, staff molto cortese, ambiente pulito e profumato

Devono migliorare sicuramente

The room smell so good Walking distance to the mall and food stall

Not enough mirror

Clean n nice

There’s no window

It was a pleasant stay, the hotel is well located and the staff very nice. The room was spacious and confortable

I love how the residence is so nearby with the main attractions

The room is very small and the iron is very limited.

Location and decor is a unique selling point. Actually quite a beautifully done setup. Owner had good vision and taste. Quite secured and heavily staffed. In house room service food looks good plus good coffee options available. Laundry coin token machines nearby.

Filthy and mouldy toilet with cockroaches. Bed had a weird hard spine frame running across that hurts. No sound proofing. Noisy creaking doors and floors. Lift breaks down. Needs mosquito control. Salty in house room service food and breakfast.
