Uma Raos Cottage

This place is the perfect location if you want to get away from the busy city center of Ubud. The room was amazing and the staff were very kind and helpful with everything! Many breakfast options, free mineral water and you can book activities/scooter through the accomodation.

There are two very busy and crowded street in Ubud. If you want to go to the city center, it will take you around 30min to get there. I don't think it matters much where you're staying, because the streets are always busy. We did walk once, it took about 25min. However, if you travel to the north to see the rice terraces for example, there is not much traffic at all! We rented a scooter and did the Mount Batur trekking.

I really enjoyed everything: the food is delicious, and the friendly staff helped with excursions and transfers. I also rented a scooter and booked hotels right on site. The only downside is the neighbor's roosters waking me up in the morning :)

Una estancia increíble en Ubud. Nos alojamos varios días durante nuestra luna de miel y la experiencia fue muy buena de principio a fin. El lugar es tranquilo, bonito y rodeado de naturaleza, con una piscina perfecta para descansar después de pasar el día recorriendo Ubud. Además, nos ayudaron con prácticamente todo: alquilamos la moto directamente con ellos, organizamos el trekking al Monte Batur y también nos hicimos tres masajes durante la estancia, siempre en nuestra propia habitación. Lo mejor era que simplemente lo pedíamos en recepción y enseguida lo organizaban, súper cómodo. También usamos su servicio de lavandería express y nos devolvieron toda la ropa limpia en pocas horas, algo que nos vino genial durante el viaje. Para nosotros fue una base perfecta para conocer Ubud y sus alrededores. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y bien atendidos durante toda la estancia. Lo recomendaríamos sin duda.

El lugar es idílico, las cabañas son preciosas y lo mejor es que está fuera del ruido de Ubud, sin estar lejos

Solo teníamos 1 toalla por persona y te las reponían a partir de las 6 de la tarde.... siempre teníamos que esperar por ellas. Un día nos fuimos sin picnic de desayuno pq se olvidaron y el desayuno aunque había variedad sólo te dejaban escoger una cosa para comer....nos pareció escaso.

Les sanitaires n’étaient pas bien nettoyé, les draps de lits avaient des taches et il y avait du caca de gecko sur le lit, beaucoup d’humidité les murs s’effritaient, on entendait absolument tout comme si il n’y avait pas de murs donc nous n’avons pas dormis du séjour

Breakfast was pretty good if not exceptional. Room was enormous, property was beautiful, and the pool was lovely. Staff were helpful, and the price was excellent. The location was good; close to the city centre, but down a side alley that meant you felt like you were out in the jungle away from the noise (although it is NOT quiet; there are a lot of load bugs and frogs!).

The bathroom was a little difficult to use; there was nowhere to store toiletries on in the shower, only one soap dispenser so you had to move it around the room every time you showered or washed your hands, and the shower head was worn out and kept dropping. The walls between rooms are quite thin and our neighbours were very noisy until 2am. We would have liked a bug net as well.

in pratica si dorme a ridosso di una risaia in bungalow molto confortevoli. colazione buona ma con poca scelta. i rumori della natura a molti potrebbero dare fastidio per me sono stati una ninnananna.

la reception la sera non esiste. noi siamo arrivati in tarda notte e ci siamo infilati in un bungalow che aveva le chiavi fuori (la mattina dopo ci hanno rassicurato di aver fatto bene). quindi avvisate in caso di late check in

Le lieu était magnifique, le personnel est très gentil tout était très propre et c’est un endroit vraiment reposant tout en étant proche du centre. Je recommande !

Le petit point qui peut déranger sont les bruits la nuit mais c’est normal car nous sommes dans les rizières franchement ce n’est pas dérangeant mais c’est à savoir.

Otoczenie jest niesamowite! Lekko oddalone od centrum i tłoku, ale świetnie usytuowane do zwiedzania okolic i dalszych atrakcji. Obsługa bardzo pomocna, uśmiechnięta. Towarzystwo Fauny i Flory robi świetną robotę! Wszystko pięknie oświetlone. Basen czysty i dostępny nawet po zmroku. Obiekt oferuje też dużo atrakcji jak wycieczki, warsztaty, masaż, nawet pralnia. Pro tip dla mizofoników jak ja - polecam na noc zatyczki do uszu :)

Außergewöhnlich ruhige Lage, viele Angebote für Ausflüge, Transporte etc. durch die Unterkunft. Wunderschönes Ambiente in den Reisfeldern sowie tolle Bungalows.

Leider war ein Hahn direkt in/neben der Unterkunft, der morgens ab 4:30 Uhr sehr laut war.

Als je bij een echte Balinese familie wilt verblijven, boek dan vooral hier. Met passie gemaakt en met passie werken diverse mensen hier. Ze helpen ja graag, staan voor je klaar, het ontbijt is prima, voldoende (je kan extra bestellen) en veilig voor de westerse maag. Lieve mensen, een lekker zwembad en zulke leuke huisjes. Met een scooter ben je zo in het centrum. Dat is geen enkel probleem.

Tout était très bien. Ils sont très arrangeants, il y a la possibilité de louer des scooters, réserver taxis/ activités…de manger au restaurant sur place le soir et c’est très bon. Je recommande pleinement. Piscine super agréable et personnel top

Nice and clean rooms, lovely breakfast, and staff were very kind.

The location was a bit hard to find at night. The instructions to get there were not very clear, and everything was quite desolate, especially since we got there very late into the night. We were able to contact staff after a few tries, and were escorted to our rooms soon after. It would have been better if we had received some instructions on how to get into the hotel or contact staff after hours, especially since I had informed them that we would be getting there past midnight.

It was pretty staying in the rice fields the rooms are big and spacious

The noise is genuinely unbearable , we only stayed 2 nights but we have left absolutely exhausted as we were not able to sleep one bit due to the lack of sound proofing and the loud sounds outside , we also came back to some kind of animal poo on our bed sheets and when we asked the staff to change it he took our entire duvet and left us with a sheet , we had various animals such as frogs and lizards in our room which can be expected seeing as though u are in the middle of fields! The curtains are also not black out so as soon as the sun comes up your room is blindingly bright

The cottage was clean and spacious. The padi fields had been harvested so our view was of muddy plots but it was still okay as the place was very serene.

The breakfast option was very limited. To only 1 choice of food with tea or coffee. The choices were very minimal as well. On the 1st night we ordered Nasi Goreng and the next morning I was running to the toilet. This lasted the entire 2 days I was suppose to be in Bali and I boarded my flight sick. Couldn't wait to get home to seek treatment.

Mi sento di consigliare la struttura per la sua posizione a 10 minuti da ubud (permettendo di godere della vicinanza al centro ma allo stesso tempo godere del relax delle risaie). Lo staff è estremamente gentile e disponibile. La stanza era pulita e la colazione ottima.

La sera la stanza era un po rumorosa (rumori della natura) quindi consiglio di portare dei tappi per le orecchie

L'ambiance était génial, le personnel super attentif. L'endroit est super tranquille, tout en étant très près de Ubud.

Le lieu est très joli. La piscine très agréable. Bien décoré. Petits déjeuners très bons.

La pompe de relevage qui nous a empêché de dormir toutes les nuits (chambre 14). On a perdu du temps car le personnel nous disait qu’il pourrait la déplacer dans la journée. Arrivé le soir il était beaucoup trop tard pour changer de chambre. On nous a proposé un changement de chambre mais nous avions des chambres de luxe et étions en famille (3 chambres à côté). Il était finalement trop tard pour changer entre un départ nocturne pour le mont batur puis dernière nuit… Le tuyau de douche fuyait dans l’une des chambres (13) Le service de lingerie a perdu un t-shirt de foot adoré par mon fils 😞 (gros incident diplomatique au moment du départ) et mon mari a eu un t-shirt tout neuf tout taché.

Los trabajadores son majísimos y te ayudan en todo. La habitación muy bonita y limpia. Las vistas increíbles, la temperatura de la habitación genial y la cama muy cómoda.

La location è bellissima, in mezzo alla natura. Molto particolari le camere tradizionali. Piscina pulita. Staff disponibile, gentile e sempre sorridente. Un'oasi in mezzo al traffico di Bali! Con grilli, ranocchie e tanti gechi :)) Anche il cibo è buono e ci hanno sempre preparato la colazione la sera, da tenere in camera, perché ci siamo sempre alzati molto presto

Es war alles bestens, das Personal war super nett, die Häuschen sehr gemütlich und alles da was man braucht! Die Anlage war sehr schön mit den Reisfeldern und dem Pool, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen in dem Restaurant sowie das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet! An zwei Tagen haben wir Aktivitäten mit der Unterkunft gebucht und es hat alles super geklappt! Es war einfach nur toll und wir können es nur weiter empfehlen!

Na Canggu en Uluwatu kwam ik hier echt tot rust! Ik was er vier nachtjes en heb met een scooter de omgeving in twee dagen goed verkend. Langs prachtige rijstvelden, watervallen en door autenthieke dorpjes. Ik ben een paar keer naar het centrum wezen wandelen en heb daar heerlijk gegeten bij warung krisna. Ook nog een avondje “uitgegaan” bij blue door en daarna de karaoke bar in “lol”. Ook bij uma raos een keer in de avond gegeten en de nasi campur was top! In de avond komt de natuur nog meer tot leven, prachtige geluiden. Om wel lekker te slapen deed ik mijn oordopjes in. Na een hele dag scooter rijden boekte ik een heerlijke balinese massage op mijn kamer. Ik heb twee middagen ook heerlijk bij het zwembad mijn boek gelezen. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en lief. De kamer echt groot, schoon en mooi!

The rooms are beautiful and the garden-pool area gorgeous.

It is too noisy. The fan behind the walls is excessively loud and runs constantly, 24/7. If your room is near reception, you'll hear everything the staff are doing, which really makes the stay unpleasant. Also, be aware that there could be many frogs in the rice fields, and the noise is unbearable. The breakfast was too basic for the price paid; it could be better. Additionally, it was strange that there was no shower gel, face towels, or foot towels. Therefore, I wouldn't stay there a second time.

The setting for breakfast was lovely and also peaceful, we enjoyed the choices of food and juices. It was all beautifully freshly cooked and served with a smile. As it was included in the cost we thought it was excellent value.

The only thing I can think of is the sliding doors to our accommodation didn’t fit properly and we were worried about mosquitoes. However, neither of us had any bites.

Gorgeous room! Looked onto rice fields so was very peaceful & tucked away. The staff were great & really helpful with a later breakfast we needed because of sunrise trekking. The property is around a 5 min grab ride from Ubud centre so a little quieter and more relaxing. Lush pool too!

We had a lovely stay here in Ubud. The room was clean, the staff were kind and welcoming, and the location was good - close enough to the centre by car, but far enough away to avoid the traffic and noise, making it a peaceful place to relax. We also booked a cooking class through the hotel, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We absolutely loved the experience!

Au milieu de rizières, l'hôtel est beau et très paisible (on pense quand même au chant du coq le matin). La chambre est spacieuse. Nous avons apprécié le coin restaurant le matin et le soir ainsi que la piscine !

Le cottage est dans un environnement très joli avec une belle décoration et de magnifiques fleurs La piscine est également top ainsi que le restaurant où on se pose volontiers

The whole place was unbelievably beautiful. The staff were so helpful and so sweet. They organised all our transfers and activities which made admin very minimal. We were served very yummy food. I Will definitely come back to Uma Raos when I come to Ubud again

le logement est très original/atypique et soigné, bien à l’écart de l’agitation d’Ubud, personnel disponible et serviable

le petit déjeuner est quelconque et l’attente est assez longue par moment , le logement est un peu trop excentré donc obligé de prendre un Grab / Gojek pour aller au centre (5/10 min) , beaucoup de bruit la nuit car une petite rivière passe juste derrière le logement , pas de shampoing / gel douche

De locatie in het rijstveld is geweldig. Enkel het geluid van de natuur. Aan het geluid van de sprinkhanen/krekels, cicaden en vogels raak je snel gewend. Het zwembad ligt mooi tussen de huisjes en het rijstveld. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het eten in het restaurant is goed en voor een hele schappelijke prijs.

De haan van de achterburen begint om 4 uur te kraaien en gaat zo de hele dag door. Als inrichting van het huisje zou het fijn zijn om een bankje erbij te hebben.

Lage: - sehr ruhig und etwas für das Auge, bemerkenswert da die Hauptstraße nicht weit weg ist - Zentrum ist mit Taxi in 5 - 10 Minuten erreichbar - Reisfelder Abseits von Massentourismus, die wir für einen Spaziergang zu einen Warung genutzt haben Stil - schlicht, natürlich und sehr ansprechend gestaltet Personal - 👍👍👍 - Freundlich, flexibel, immer ansprechbar - Extrawunsche: unser Sohn hatte Geburtstag und das Personal erfüllte ohne Zögern unsere Bitte Frühstück - kleine, feine Auswahl à la carte, frisch zubereitet - man konnte es bei einer netten Aussicht genießen Pool - schöne Größe und war nicht übermäßig gechlort Fischteich - dieser faszinierte immer wieder unsere Kinder Preis/ Leistung ist absolut top!

If I have to say the breakfast was not as good as I expected and during the night is a bit noisy, but overall a really nice place to stay!

I think it's a good deal for staying in Ubud walkable distance from the center. Hotel can organize privat driver, tour a different activities which we found nice. The staff where very nice and friendly.

I think the restaurant was good but nothing fancy. For better Balinese food you should choose some place in a city.

The rooms were gorgeous and the property was tucked away in a quiet spot. The staff were so lovely and were super helpful with our late check in and early check out. The pool was amazing and also breakfast was lovely.

Funcionários impecáveis. Sítio lindo no meio de arrozais. Localização ótima perto do centro de Ubud mas numa rua adjacente à principal muito calma em que só se ouve a água e os animais noturnos.

Comida no geral era boa, mas apanhei uma intoxicação depois de comer o atum frito com cebolada.
