Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Spacious with large comfortable beds. Free mineral water, coffee pods, a good selection of teas and food basics, plus a fridge full of wines and beers which were available to purchase. Also a great location with lots of restaurants and other shops nearby as well as free trams a short walk away. Lawrence was a great communicator and provided helpful information.
The layout is a bit quirky as you have to walk through one bedroom to access the dining room and another bedroom. On arrival the beds were not made up and bedding and towels were damp and in the dryer.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026It was within walking distance to the train station. It was located above resturants, however our sleep did not getting disturbed by the resturants below. The host kindly left us ear plugs just in case. It was clean, well stocked and spacious.

L’emplacement est bruyant, comme indiqué dans l’annonce. Néanmoins cela ne nous a pas gêné car nous avons pu dormir les fenêtres fermées. L’hôte prévoit des boules quies et des couvertures anti bruit qui sont très utiles.

We waren hier begin aug met 37 graden. Je moet de ramen vanwege de warmte dicht houden met de (raam) dekens ervoor en de losse mobiele airconditioning aan. Dan is het binnen enigszins uit te houden. Nadeel is dan dat je in het donker binnen zit in een mooi oud pand op een geweldige locatie en niet naar buiten kunt kijken en kunt genieten. Moet wel worden opgemerkt dat de hitte in augustus 2026 overal uitzonderlijk was

As the owner had told us, being on a street with a number of restaurants can be quite noisy in the evening. He had provided earplugs which helped.

Apartamentul este vechi…..foarte vechi…..parchetul vechi iar toata podeaua este in panta….din aceasta cauza si paturile sunt in panta……paturi la geam, prosoape vechi, uzate si patate, lenjeria la fel….cada curge, wc nespălat…..primul lucru cand am ajuns m-am apucat sa fac curat…..pacat pacat ca nu se investeste in acest apartament, ca nu se aduc îmbunătățiri sau macar sa fie renovat…..pozele de pe booking nu reflecta realitate……dezamagitor

Reviewed May 28, 2026Merkeze çok yakın her yere yürüme mesafesinde bir daire. Malesef ki biz oradayken yol çalışması vardı. Evin konumu ve olanakları son derece güzel. Asansörün olmaması bizim için oldukça zorlayıcı oldu çünkü çok fazla eşyamız vardı. Evde ihtiyacınız olabilecek her şey en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüş hatta yedeklenmiş.
İçerisi biraz tozluydu. Alerjik astımım var biraz tetiklendi malesef. Ama gel olarak temizdi.

Basel cards are exceptionally useful, they make it easier to travel and access some sights. I recommend it to families and groups of friends.
A little presante 10 o'clock for check out..... I would recommend 11 o'clock....

El baño muy antiguo y la bañera muy alta, pocos utensilios en la cocina, no hay tostador, no había servilletas. Apenas hay vistas al lago. Y las fotos más chulas serán del 21. Falta sillones para el número de personas que aloja.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Lokalizacja - bardzo blisko centrum, wychodzimy przed klatkę i mamy deptak z barami, sklepami i restauracjami. My byliśmy samochodem, parking podziemny jest bardzo blisko, wejście jest praktycznie naprzeciwko wejścia. Koszt - parkowanie od 17 do 7 rano zapłaciliśmy 21 CHF, Mieszkanie w pełni wyposażone. Jedynym minusem jest jedna łazienka, poza tym wszystko extra.

2 Toiletten wären schon sehr gut aber es ist ein altes Haus. Am Wochenende ist es Nachts schon sehr laut, das wussten wir!

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Sogar ein tragbares Wifi Gerät wird zur Verfügung gestellt. Es gibt gratis Earplugs. Und warme, kuschelige Wintersocken. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gemütlich.
Wie schon in der Beschreibung, ist es in der Nacht wirklich recht laut. Aber es wird alles getan, dass man trotzdem gut schlafen kann. Ein Zimmer hat keine Türe.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has an excellent location and is very big, with enough space for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. We found it very cozy because the heating was always on and working well. A big plus was the equipment and food provided: unlike most rentals, the apartment had many cleaning products, toiletries, and food essentials (pasta, tea, coffee, sauces, etc.). This helped us a lot with our logistics.
There are three main issues to improve: - Insulation: The windows are single-glazed and don't have good thermal or acoustic insulation. Cold air and street noise come inside easily. The "insulating blankets" they provide are not practical and don't work very well. It was okay during our stay in late November/early December, but it would probably be not so uncomfortable in freezing temperatures. - Hidden rules and fees: We found rules in the kitchen area saying we would pay a 50 CHF fine for things not written in the Booking listing (like where to put dirty laundry or strict cleaning rules). Guests should be respectful, of course, but asking for extra money not in the contract is not transparent. - Bathroom: There is only one WC. It is new, clean, quite spacious and well-equipped (including shower gel, shampoo, etc.). However, having only one bathroom is difficult for a house that takes up to 10 guests.

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025Cheia a fost găsită la locul indicat mai devreme decât ora specificată în check-in. Deși am fost atenționați asupra zgomotului din zonă, eu nu am avut această problemă. Probabil vara, când sunt terasele mai active. În perioada târgurilor de Crăciun nu am sesizat zgomotul.
Lenjeria ar putea fi mai premium. Având în vedere că se pot caza mai multe persoane în apartament ar fi utilă o a doua baie.

- Trop de bruit dans la rue, impossibile de dormir avant 3h du matin même avec des bouche-oreilles fourni par le propriétaire - odeurs du restaurant infecte qui remonte dans l’appartement. On a senti le curry toute la nuit. - la chambre avec le canapé était glaciale. - le propriétaire nous a fait une remarque directement par message pour 30 min de retard au check-out a 10:00, qui est beaucoup trop tôt alors qu’il vous est impossible de dormir avant 3h du matin.

Mancavano asciugamani rispetto agli ospiti, lenzuola spiegazzate, letti non comodissimi (il mio materasso era leggermente più alto di quello del mio compagno e scivolavo verso di lui)

Dark, very heavy curtains all around the walls to keep out the noise from the street. We only stayed one night so no value in pulling them off the windows. Curtains aren’t shown in the photos.

Noise level ( bass sound from nearby bar) on Friday was hard to ignore, even with my silicone earplugs; think noise cancelling headphones and double glazed windows are the solution.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025Sehr gute Kommunikation vorab und während des Aufenthalts. Die Lage ist zwar inmitten von Restaurants, aber das hat auch einiges Erleichtert. Station Heuwaage ist in der Nähe, dh man ist auch schnell in der Altstadt. Faires Preis Leistungsverhältnis.
Kaum Kästen für die Unterbringung von Kleidung. Leider dann doch nur ein Badezimmer für das ganze Apartment. Aber wenn man sich gut kennt und die Einteilung schafft - ist das auch OK.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Nice central location for an affordable price. Owner seemed nice and left us refreshments in the property. It’s a good option if you are travelling with lots of people on a budget.
Our beds were not made up when we got there - only 2 of them, despite prior notice that we were 4 singles travelling. The rest were still damp in the washer so we had to dry them before going to sleep. Also after booking they tell you theres some unusual charges - for example 50 CHF charge if you leave any dishes in the dishwasher and don’t wipe down the kitchen. This made a quick exit in the morning a little stressful. The music (on a Saturday) was very loud. We were expecting this but good to know if you like quiet. It may keep you up.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Het appartement was uitstekend gelegen. Vlakbij het station en de ingang voor de parkeergarage is om de hoek. De baselcard die we bij de huur kregen was ook heel handig om van het openbaar vervoer gebruik te kunnen maken. Er was drinken water/cola/sap in de keuken dat we gratis mochten nuttigen. Dat voelde heel welkom. Wij waren er op een vrijdagavond op een hele warme dag. Het appartement is gelegen in een levendige straat en er was 's avonds tot heel laat veel gezelligheid op straat. De eigenaren hebben er alles aan gedaan om het straatgeluid te dempen met hele dikke gordijnen en ze hebben oordopjes beschikbaar gesteld. Wij hebben ondanks de warmte en de straatgeluiden heerlijk kunnen slapen.
De dekens zijn heel smal. Lijken eerder voor 1 persoon dan voor 2. Gelukkig waren er extra dekens en beddegoed dat we konden gebruiken.

Al estar en el centro y zona de ocio llegaba la música de los pubs, pero ya lo sabíamos y nuestra opción mereció la pena.

Although we expected city noise from the reviews, we didn’t expect to be right next to a night club which played loud music until 5am. This was on a Friday and Saturday night. The host made every effort to minimise noise pollution and it was much quieter on the Sunday night but pretty intolerable noise prior to that

There is only 1 toilet which for 6 people is not sufficient.
