Exceptional staff

Lovely hotel - staff were helpful and friendly. Easy to find and the car parking very useful! We had a suite with a lovely view of the water - bed was super comfortable and room very tastefully decorated. Must mention the wonderful bathroom - 2 showers, huge bath and lovely product to enjoy. Good recommendations for eating out in city! Wish we had stayed more than one night but will return!

Не попросили данные кредитной карты для депозита. Мы приехали в 16:30. На следующий день списали 88 € за другого человека кто пообедал в ресторане в 14:30. Было неприятно

We stayed there the nights before our wedding and the staff were so friendly and celebratory of us! We got an upgrade to a junior suite which was so beautiful. The rooms were fabulous and the food was delicious but the best things was definitely how the staff treated us :)

The food at the restaurant was exceptionally delicious. Breakfast was stunning. The spa is definitely worth a visit and the treatments were amazing!

Difficult to find the hotel and parking area.

The rooms and beds are enormous. Very comfortable to spend time in. Dining room, bar and lounges are classy. Great parking below.

The bathroom was weak. Pathetic shower in bath and nowhere to put your wash bag etc - very poor. The corridors are dark and vast. Some of the staff are inattentive - one in particular seemed to be in serious work avoidance mode.

The spa was amazing

The walk in shower wasn’t included in the standard room, we upgraded and it was great.

We stayed for 1 night for bed, in a suite which was kindly given to us as a free upgrade. The service from the staff was brilliant especially from the member of staff who checked us in, possibly the hotel manager, she was very helpful, kind and welcoming, she gave us a room upgrade to a suite and 2 free drinks, which was a brilliant start to our stay. The hotel in general was exceptional. We had no complaints, our room was very spacious, the bed was huge and very comfy, the double walk-in shower was great, and our room had a great view over the lake. I particularly liked the hotel decor, and we enjoyed our free drinks in one of many the nice lounge areas. The lift from our floor took us directly down to the car park. We were a 15 minute walk from Galway centre, and we had dinner in a great pub directly across the road from the hotel, and we were lucky enough to be there during almost 30 degree weather and have air con. Would highly recommend a stay here, and will be back in the future.

My experience in the dining room was okay. Ordered confit of duck presented nicely on plate, unfortunately they forgot to give the creamed potato with the dish, and i had finished most of the meal before it arrived. Breakfast was a bit salty for my taste, full irish and tea and coffee was lukewarm.

We had driven a long way and my Mam has lung cancer so we couldnt drive anywhere else, my Mam was exhausted. Over inflated prices for race week and hotel sub standard. Gym not even in the building. But the worst was room and issue with booking especially after I spoke with someone at reception confirming rooms, rate and booking prior to arrival and I clearly stated I was paying at hotel. Very bad form from hotel, would not recommend.

Beautifully comfortable rooms! Super friendly & attentive staff.

Decor of reception looks out of place with rest of hotel - a little tacky.

Very friendly staff and attentive, made an extra effort as it was my partners birthday with complimentary glass of Prosecco and treat in our room.

The hotel location only 20 min walk from city center. If you dont want to walk or take the car there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Rooms were spatious, bathroom big and very clean. A lot of small details from greeting card to wellcome sweets etc makes you feel special. Free parking And last but not least the staff. I can only say the best staff i have ever seen in a hotel. Special thanks to Dovydas who was great and made the only problem we got go away within seconds with his words, smile, positivity and kindness. Also the restaurant where we had dinner served very good quality food and the prices were not so high for a hotel restaurant. The waiters Vito and Fiona who served us were great. In the end we had a great time at the G hotel and spa

There is no window you can open in the room and that feels a little bit unconfortable if you need fresh air :)

We got upgraded to the Evangelista suite which was huge.

Suite was huge….. but. Lighting system was enough to drive anyone insane, we ended up sleeping with the lights on next door having given up. Bath looks amazing until you realise it would take about 3 hours to fill as the tap drips hot water out.

The movie theater and the gym access was underground

Too posh and lack of communication. Too dark and no explanation of how to use the spa. Staff at check in pushes you to spend more money for the breakfast onsite and the restaurant doesn’t have a clue if you paid the extra fee.

The hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed.

Sehr große Zimmer. Ausstattung entsprechend. Klimaanlage Parkhaus groß und kostenfrei, aber alt.

Dusche ( immer ) wieder als Badewanne. Nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Frühstück ... kein Buffett Alles !! muss separat geordert werden. Selbst der Kaffee oder Toast zum Irish und dessen Nachschank. Personal muss immer wieder aufgefordert werden wenn man etwas benötigt. Qualität des Frühstücks und dessen Ausführung entspricht nicht dem Niveau des Hotels. Bettdecken und Kopfkissen mit Daunen! Wer eine Allergie hat, sollte hier Syntetik anfragen.

Gute Lage, schönes Badezimmer,in Anbetracht der ungenügenden Spa Optionen war dies das Highlight. Personal im Frühstücks Saal sehr unaufmerksam und unkoordiniert. Wenn man es geschafft hat dass sich jemand von den vielen Personen bemüssigt fühlt einen beim Empfang wahrzunehmen und herzukommen ist die erste Hürde geschafft. Wenn man dann am Tisch ist, bestellt man was man essen möchte, sofern jemand kommt um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Offensichtlich existiert keine richtige Zuordnung der Tische zu einer Servicekraft. Eilig darf man es nicht haben. Das Spa ist schlichtweg ein Witz, erstens separat zu bezahlen, 2.muss man buchen und zwar hat man 1h zwischen 10 und 18h sofern man einen Zeit Slot ergattert- dafür Zahl ich kein Spa Hotel...der Fitnessraum war geschlossen, den brauchten wir nicht, weil wir tagsüber genügend herumgelaufen sind; aber ein Spa mit diesen Öffnungszeiten ist sinnlos wenn man sich die Stadt oder das Land anschauen mag.
