Well, I liked everything from the people to the facilities from the first day the attention was first class very nice all the people who made up Onefam the bathrooms the room and the very nice common spaces a very friendly human team very attentive to my needs. I would come back a million times ❤️

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and a really friendly atmosphere. The biggest highlight was all the staff, especially Jacko and Iona were absolutely brilliant, welcoming and fun to chat with. They made the hostel feel much more like a social place than just somewhere to sleep. I had a great time staying here!

Honestly, I didn’t have any major complaints. It is a hostel, so you should expect a shared and social environment, but that’s also part of what made my stay enjoyable.

What to say? Onefam are super friendly - the staff and volunteers encourage everyone to meet and mingle and have fun - and that's what everyone does. Veggie dinner is included in the price of a bed if you sign up in time, and the food was tasty and good. The rooms are clean and tidy and the communal spaces cared for and welcoming. Full marks to Jack and the team - a really excellent hostel. Thoroughly recommended - and particularly for solo travellers in London who want to meet others in a fun, safe place.

One thing that could do with looking at is the very squeaky floorboards in and outside the rooms upstairs, yet for most guests I doubt they would notice!

I realy love the atmosphere of the hostel, you can find a big group of boys and girl that bring you out evry day and night.

Was das Hostel für mich besonders gemacht hat, war definitiv das Personal. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, offen und fürsorglich und haben dafür gesorgt, dass man sich direkt wohl und willkommen fühlt. Besonders Jacko war super sympathisch und hilfsbereit 😊 Auch das tägliche Programm war richtig cool und eine tolle Möglichkeit, andere Reisende kennenzulernen. Besonders schön fand ich auch die gemeinsamen kostenlosen Abendessen. Eine super Idee, um zusammenzukommen und die anderen Gäste besser kennenzulernen. Insgesamt herrscht im Hostel eine sehr offene und gesellige Atmosphäre. Gerade wenn man alleine reist und neue Leute kennenlernen möchte, ist es wirklich toll. Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit dort und würde wiederkommen! ❤️

Die Einrichtung ist eher einfach und zweckmäßig und an manchen Stellen könnte die Sauberkeit etwas besser sein. Wenn frisch geputzt wurde, war aber alles in Ordnung. Insgesamt hat mich das während meines Aufenthalts nicht groß gestört.

Amazing family life atmosphere

The location was perfect! 15 minutes walking distance from Big Ben and a short walk from the main metro line. The stuff were incredible as well as the people. I didn’t feel uncomfortable once and eventhough its a social hostel everybody respected quite time and wasn’t overwhelming. Highly recommended, they have activities everyday and they make your trip more effortless and fun. Facilities were super clean and someone was always available for you. It’s a big kindhearted community that will elevate your trip!

I had such a fantastic stay at Onefam! From the moment I checked in the staff were incredibly welcoming, lovely and always ready to help with anything I needed ( all the staff but Hector is a really good lad ) . The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The best part about Onefam is the atmosphere: it’s so easy to make friends and meet amazing people from all over the world. Whether you’re a solo traveler or with a group the social vibe here is top tier. It was my first solo trip, and staying at Onefam Waterloo was an amazing experience! The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. They organize fun tours and activities both during the day and at night, and they make everyone feel welcome and included. A special mention to the manager, Jacko, who was exceptionally helpful, kind, and welcoming. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hostel, especially to solo travellers!

Everyone was really friendly. Jacko, who helped me out on the first day, explained everything very clearly. Everything is run in a well-organized and respectful manner. If you’re coming alone and want to party, this place is perfect for you. But even if you’re not into that as much as I am, that’s no problem you can just relax. The rooms are a bit small but enough. The location is a 5-minute walk from the bus and train stations—and even within walking distance of Big Ben.

Onefam was a great value for money hostel in a great, quiet area of London. The staff are awesome, especially Meg, she really helped me to get to know the place and its facilities.

It is not for you if you do not plan to socialize or just look for some quiet

Stayed for 1 night. Their staff was really kind. Jacko upgraded my room so I had a private room for myself. The room was nice and cold during the night. Bed was really comfortable. Bathrooms were also fairly nice and clean for a hostel. Just stayed the night and left but it seems like they throw social events often and people are always chatting in the common areas.

In the private room, the is a window there is not closed. You can very clearly hear people outside the room and also, the hallway outside the door gets lit up and in turn it lights up the room. That was fairly obnoxious. Luckily I had my night shades and ear plugs but the sounds were still very loud.

Établissement très mignon et très animé, vraiment parfait pour faire des rencontres et s’amuser. L’établissement propose aussi de nombreuses activités pour justement permettre aux voyageurs solitaires ou en groupe de rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. Nous avons pu bénéficier d’une visite guidée gratuite et très intéressante de proposée par Christoph, l’un des membres travaillant au sein de l’auberge. Par ailleurs, étant photographe, il nous a aussi gentiment proposé à mon amie et moi ainsi qu’aux autres personnes participants à la visite de nous prendre en photo.

Un des seul point à soulever dans cette auberge je dirai est pour le rangement. En effet, nous étions dans une chambre de neuf personnes, et même si on avait accès à des casiers pour ranger nos effets personnels et précieux, le reste des valises et sacs étaient étalés un peu partout dans la chambre. Aussi, il y avait deux énormes ventilateurs qui faisait un bruit assez assourdissant, heureusement que j’avais apporté des bouchons d’oreille pour dormir.

I absolutely loved my stay at Onefam Waterloo! From the first day, I felt very welcome and quickly met lots of people from all over the world. The free dinners and evening activities were a great way to bring everyone together. I had a great time in London, and the staff were always there to help me out whenever I needed it. The atmosphere at the hostel was really friendly and social, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Thanks to you all for the great time — especially Kamil and Hector, Meg, Liam and the french girl and Christopher for his free walking tours!

ECCEZIONALE! Sono stata in questa struttura la scorsa settimana e la consiglio a tutti coloro che cercano un alloggio a Londra. La struttura è pulita, i letti sono molto comodi ed in generale offre molti servizi. Lo staff è ciò che fa la differenza, sono stati tutti molto gentili con me, per la prima volta mi sono sentita a casa, mi sono sentita parte di una famiglia e proprio per questo non vedo l'ora di tornare a Londra. I ragazzi organizzano ogni giorno tantissime attività sia diurne che serali, sono molto divertenti ed ottime per chi viaggia da solo o in coppia! Voglio ringraziare con tutto il cuore i ragazzi della Reception: Meg, Jacko, Cristoph, Juliette, Cami, Ana, Retana, Hector, Mickey, Liam e Daniel ! Ci vediamo presto e un grandissimo grazie per tutto.

Accoglienza fantastica da parte degli host, spazi comuni belli e ben organizzati. Christoph, Joseph, Camilla and Anita sono stati fantastici e simpatici. I letti erano comodi e le attività sempre interessanti.

I love Onefam, it’s my fourth or fifth time in the Waterloo unit! Staff are so friendly, location is perfect! Not only that, but the dinners, walking tours and nights out are always so much fun!

Love the common area, the dorms are well equipped with lockers, fans and charging stations by every bed. The kitchen is also great and honerable mention to the Nintendo Switch for Mario kart.

The bunks are kinda old, And cleaning towel was not really clean. But other than that is great.

这是我第一次在国外住青旅，整体上还是很满意的，当时看是男女混住，所以我一晚上都没有脱衣服，早上起床发现我屋里好像都是男生，而且大多数都把上衣脱掉了。结果等我走的时候，我才发现有一个床上睡了个女生，我不知道同寝男生脱衣服的行为是不是有些不礼貌。不过大家都非常安静，那天晚上真的睡得挺好的，有机会还会再选择青旅。

没有什么不满意的，唯一缺点可能是我预定时候的价格偏贵吧

The atmosphere at Onefam waterloo was so great! You could feel the good vibes, the staff was so nice and you couldn't help going along and having a great time. So, if you are a solo traveller, or not, I couldn't recomend it more. The FREE(excpet travell fares) city tours were also so great. As it was my first time in London it was a great chance to see the city AND the best thing, getting to know other fellow travellers. The FREE vegetarian dinner was also great (go green!) and a good way to getting to know others and don't get me started on the PARTYgames. So, if you hate getting to know people and having fun I don't recomend this hostel but if you love to having fun and getting to know other poeple from all over I couldn't recomend it more (which life is all about). At Onefam Waterloo they truly are one fam. Cheers and thanks for the good times, Jacko, Ana and Shaun!

The facility is like going back to an intimate crowded dorm in college but in a good way. So, not really a drawback, but still if there is anything. But it plays more into the vibes and the vibes makes more than up for it. The staff is also good at letting you know beforehand so you won't be suprised.

The location was great! Very convenient. Stayed at a small 3 person room. The social aspect of the hostel was what drew me in and it exceeded my expectations. Jacko was the best, welcomed me so warmly, very attentive, very good at remembering details from convos as well.. Great at keeping the madness in check and looking for solutions always. Also shout out to Shaun, can't believe it was his first time being a party leader but we had so much fun with the drinking games and the clubs we hit afterwards, he was lovely, great at ushering so many drunk people and very attentive always checking on us, great at giving directions back as well. Thank you all.. I had the best time. I wish I stayed longer, so much stuff to do, i wanted to attend all the activities.. will definitely be back here next time I'm in London.. 💜

The only thing that is slightly annoying (which I suppose isn't unique to this hostel) is the insufficiency of the toilets.. We literally had to queue for the toilets for the World Cup Final and so many of us missed a goal while waiting. Yes exceptional circumstances.. Not sure anything can be done about the facilities in an old building and it's not always like this, but you do need to plan your showers etc if you're in a hurry... Also the gaps between the bunkbeds are small so if you're tall like me you're gonna have to crane your neck a lot if you're sitting ..

Onefam is the reason I started obsessing with living in hostels, the best social hostel in London. The staff are very welcoming and caring. Free dinner every day is insanely nice. It’s easy to make friends during the pub crawl, dinner time, and drinking games. Onefam Waterloo is my second home in the UK. I define recommend it

This place exceeded my expectations! The staff were helpful, welcoming and so friendly - had a number of conversations with Jacko, Kristoff and Nicki and each time they were so friendly! The location is amazing and the place itself was clean, comfortable and perfect for solo travellers

Great guys at the reception, really nice people. Some nice selection of cold drinks. I wish that I was less tired from the concert, city tour and the heat to get to know people there more later, maybe next time.

The bathrooms were really small and could be a little bit renovated. Or at least cleaned more frequently. But for a short stay it wasn't that bad, and for this price. It was warm in the top bunk, but with one fan in the room and no ac in the building i get it.

The day and night tours are always fun! The staff always put in the effort and make sure everyone is well looked after:)

Die Duschen waren z. T. sehr alt, die Betten unbequem und die geliehenen Handtücher fleckig. Aber diese Punkte überwiegen nicht dem Charme des Hostels und der sozialen Komponente!! ☀️

Moment I went through the door i was already greeted by other people staying there and the staff. Everyone has the down to earth, solo travel attitude. Lovely to see people come from all around the world to stay at this wonderful hostel in the heart of London. Can’t wait to come back here again!

Location, facilities and value all good

I was given the wrong door code by staff and was forced to sleep outside the hostel because it was left unstaffed after hourrs. I could not contact any emergency numbers for help. Fortunately it was summer I was not offered an apology or any form of refund

No me gustó el sistema de duchas que se debía presionar un botón constantemente para que el agua saliera y además sin poder regular la temperatura. Solo en el piso 1 había una ducha en la cual se podía regular la temperatura

Las duchas, los baños, el wifi no funcionaba, la limpieza en general, la cama sumamente incomoda y la ropa de cama dejaba mucho que desear… Si quieres dormir más de 5 horas y relativamente bien con una ducha limpia al día siguiente, no lo recomiendo.

Had a great stay here! The hostel has a really social, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere, which makes it super easy to meet people and feel included from the start. They organize daily activities and events, so there’s always something going on and it really helps guests connect with each other. The staff were also really nice and helpful throughout my stay, which added a lot to the overall experience. A special thanks to Renata and Hector for being especially lovely and making the place feel even more welcoming :) Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun, social hostel with a good vibe.

I loved the location! Very close from some tourist spots, it’s also very close to public transport. I also liked that it’s a very social hostel, I think is very easy to make friends because they host many events and parties.
